1Hepatic Hemangioendothelioma: An update显示文摘Primary epithelioid hemangioendotheliomas of the liver(EHL)are rare tumors with a low incidence.The molecular background of EHL is still under investigation,with WWTR1-CAMPTA1 mutation may function as a tumor marker.Commonly,this tumor is misdiagnosed with angiosarcoma,cholangiocarcinomas,metastatic carcinoma,and hepatocellular carcinoma(sclerosing variant).Characteristic features on imaging modalities such as ultrasound,computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography/computed tomography guide in diagnosis and staging.The“halo sign”and the“lollipop sign”on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging are described in the literature.Currently,there are no standardized guidelines for treating EHL with treatment options are broad including:chemotherapy,ablation,surgery and liver transplantation with inconsistent results.Mayur Virarkar Mohammed Saleh Radwan Diab Melissa Taggart Peeyush Bhargava Priya Bhosale 2020World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2020,12,3:8

3Formulation and evaluation of novel stomach specific floating microspheres bearing famotidine for treatment of gastric ulcer and their radiographic study显示文摘Objective:To develop and characterize multiple-unit-type oral floating microsphere of famotidine to prolong gastric residence time and to target stomach ulcer.Methods:The floating microspheres were prepared by modified solvent evaporation method,Eudragil S-100 was used as polymer.Microspheres were characterized for the micromeritic properties,floating behavior,entrapment efficiency and scanning electron microscopy.The invitro release studies and floating behavior were studied in simulated gastric fluid at pH 1.2.Different drug release kinetics models were also applied for all the batches.Selected formulations were also subjected for X-ray radiographic study.Results:Floating microspheres were successfully prepared by modified solvent evaporation technique.Microspheres showed passable flow properties.The maximum yield of microspheres was up to(95.11±0.35)%.On the basis of optical microscopy particle size range was found to be ranging from(52.18±182.00) to(91.64±5.16) μm.Scanning electron microscopy showed their spherical size,perforated smooth surface and a cavity inside microspheres.Microspheres were capable to float up to 20 h in simulated gastric fluid.X-ray radiographic studies also proved its better retention in the stomach.Conclusions:On the basis of the results,such dosage forms may be a good candidate for stomach targeting and may be dispensed in hard gelatin capsules.Rishikesh Gupta Sunil Kumar Prajapati Snigdha Pattnaik Peeyush Bhardwaj 2014Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2014,4,9:2

12Energy balance and environmental impacts of rice and wheat production:A case study in Nepal显示文摘Energy and environment are the key concerns in todays’agriculture.This study investigated energy balance and environmental impact of rice and wheat production systems in terms of energy ratio,impact of energy inputs to the crop yield and CO2e(carbon dioxide equivalent)emissions under terai and hill geographical regions of Nepal.Primary data were collected from 139 randomly selected farms by using structured questionnaire.The results revealed that the total energy consumption in rice and wheat production were 9.70 GJ/hm^(2)(terai)to 11.78 GJ/hm^(2)(hill)and 8.40 GJ/hm^(2)(hill)to 10.95 GJ/hm^(2)(terai),respectively.The energy balance of rice and wheat production were found 46.33 GJ/hm^(2)(hill)to 59.29 GJ/hm^(2)(terai)and 27.14 GJ/hm^(2)(terai)to 38.52 GJ/hm^(2)(hill),respectively,where energy use efficiency in terai and hill were found to be 7.14 and 4.97 in rice,and 3.49 and 5.59 in wheat,respectively.The contribution of fertilizer on impacts was significant among other energy inputs in rice and wheat production in both geographical regions.The CO_(2)e emissions from rice and wheat were higher by 52%and 78%in hill as compared to respective crop rice(1786 kg CO_(2)e/hm^(2))and wheat(843 kg CO2e/hm^(2))in terai.This study showed that rice production system in terai is more energy and environmentally efficient,whilst wheat production in hill is more energy efficient.Anil Pokhrel Peeyush Soni 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,1:1
