| 1 | Semi-hot Stamping as an Improved Process of Hot Stamping显示文摘Reducing the forming load,deletion of springback,increasing the formability of sheets as well as producing high strength parts are the main reasons to apply hot stamping process.Hot stamping process and 22MnB5 steels are the state of the art process and grades,respectively;however novel processes and steel grades are under considerations.In the current research,behavior of the steel grade MSW1200 blanks under semi and fully hot stamping processes was characterized.During semi-hot stamping process,the blank was firstly heated to a temperature of about 650℃ and then formed and quenched in the die assembly,simultaneously.Microstructure and mechanical properties of semi and fully hot stamped blanks were studied and the results were compared with those of normally water/air quenched blanks.The hot stamped blanks attained the strength values as high as water quenched blanks.The highest ductility and consequently,the best formability were achieved for the blank which had been semi-hot stamped.It was concluded that for the mentioned steel,semi-hot stamping process could be considered as an improved thermo-mechanical process which not only guaranteed a high formability,but also led to ultra high strength values. | Malek Naderi Mostafa Ketabchi Mahmoud Abbasi Wolfgang Bleck | 2011 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,4: | 15 |
| 2 | Neuroprotective effects of minocycline on focal cerebral ischemia injury: a systematic review显示文摘To review the neuroprotective effects of minocycline in focal cerebral ischemia in animal models.By searching in the databases of PubMed,ScienceDirect,and Scopus,and considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study.Studies were included if focal cerebral ischemia model was performed in mammals and including a control group that has been compared with a minocycline group.Written in languages other than English;duplicate data;in vitro studies and combination of minocycline with other neuroprotective agents were excluded.Neurological function of patients was assessed by National Institute of Health Stroke Scale,modified Rankin Scale,and modified Barthel Index.Neuroprotective effects were assessed by detecting the expression of inflammatory cytokines.We examined 35 papers concerning the protective effects of minocycline in focal cerebral ischemia in animal models and 6 clinical trials which had evaluated the neuroprotective effects of minocycline in ischemic stroke.These studies revealed that minocycline increases the viability of neurons and decreases the infarct volume following cerebral ischemia.The mechanisms that were reported in these studies included anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,as well as anti-apoptotic effects.Minocycline also increases the neuronal regeneration following cerebral ischemia.Minocycline has considerable neuroprotective effects against cerebral ischemia-induced neuronal damages.However,larger clinical trials may be required before using minocycline as a neuroprotective drug in ischemic stroke. | Yazdan Naderi Yunes Panahi George E. | 3 | TIRAP rs8177374 gene polymorphism increased the risk of pulmonary tuberculosis in Zahedan,southeast Iran显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the possible association between Toll-interleukin 1 receptor(TIR) domain containing adaptor protein(TIRAP;also known as MAI.) rsl893352 and rs8l77374(S180L) gene polymorphisms and pulmonary tuberculosis(PTB) in a sample of Iranian population.Methods:This case-control study was performed on 174 PTB and 177 healthy subjects.Tetra amplification refractory mutation systetn-polymerase chain reaction(T-AKMS-PCR) was used to detect the polymorphisms.Results:Our finding showed that neither the overall Ckisqaare comparison of PTB and control subjects nor the logistic regression analysis indicated any association between rsl893352 polymorphism and PTB.Regarding rs8l77374 polymorphism,the CT genotype as well as CT+TT increased the risk of PTB in comparison with CC genotype(OR=4.73,95%CI=2.65-8.45,P<0.0001 and OR=6.47,95%C1=3.68-11.38,P<0.0001.respectively).The rs8177374 T allele increased the risk of PTB in comparison with C allele(OR=4.21.95%CI=2.43-7.26,P<0.0001).Conclusions:Our finding indicates that TIRAP rs8177374 polymorphism is associated with PTB in a sample of Iranian population. | Mohammad Naderi Mohammad Hashemi Zahra Pourmontaseri Ebrahim Eskari-Nasab Gholamreza Bahari Mohsen Taheri | 2014 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2014,7,6: | 8 |
| 4 | Kinetics of chemical leaching of chalcopyrite from low grade copper ore: behavior of different size fractions显示文摘The kinetics of the chemical leaching of copper from low grade ore in ferric sulfate media was investigated using the constrained least square optimization technique. The experiments were carried out for different particle sizes in both the reactor and column at constant oxidation-reduction potential (Eh), pH values, and temperature. The main copper mineral was chalcopyrite. About 40% of Cu recovery is obtained after 7 d of reactor leaching at 85℃ using -0.5 mm size fraction, while the same recovery is obtained at 75℃ after 24 d. Also, about 23% of Cu recovery is obtained after 60 d of column leaching for +4--8 mm size fraction whereas the Cu recovery is as low as about 15% for +8--12.7 and +12.7--25 mm size fractions. A 4-stage model for chalcopyrite dissolution was used to explain the observed dissolution behaviors. The results show that thick over-layers of sulphur components cause the parabolic behavior of chalcopyrite dissolution and the precipitation of Fe3+ plays the main role in chalcopyrite passivation. In the case of coarse particles, transformation from one stage to another takes a longer time, thus only two stages including the initial reaction on fresh surfaces and S0 deposition are observed. | H. | 5 | Interleukin-12 as a Genetic Adjuvant Enhances Hepatitis C Virus NS3 DNA Vaccine Immunogenicity显示文摘Hepatitis C virus (HCV) chronic infection is a worldwide health problem, and numerous efforts have been invested to develop novel vaccines. An efficient vaccine requires broad immune response induction against viral proteins. To achieve this goal, we constructed a DNA vaccine expressing nonstructural 3 (NS3) gene (pcDNA3.1-HCV-NS3) and assessed the immune response in C57BL/6 mice. In this study, the NS3 gene was amplified with a nested-reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method using sera of HCV-infected patients with genotype 1a. The resulting NS3 gene was subcloned into a pcDNA3.1 eukaryotic expression vector, and gene expression was detected by western blot. The resultant DNA vaccine was co-administered with interleukin-12 (IL-12) as an adjuvant to female C57BL/6 mice. After the final immunizations, lymphocyte proliferation, cytotoxicity, and cytokine levels were assessed to measure immune responses. Our data suggest that co-administration of HCV NS3 DNA vaccine with IL-12 induces production of significant levels of both IL-4 and interferon (IFN)-γ (p<0.05). Cytotoxicity and lymphocyte proliferation responses of vaccinated mice were significantly increased compared to control (p<0.05). | 7 | Comparison among Ocular Response Analyzer,Corvis ST and Goldmann applanation tonometry in healthy children显示文摘AIM: To explore the relationship between different parameters of Ocular Response Analyzer(ORA) and Corvis ST(CST) in a sample of healthy Iranian school-aged children and the relationship between parameters of these 2 instruments against intraocular pressure(IOP), measured by the Goldmann applanation tonometer(GAT-IOP), age and gender, and find possible correlation between ORA and CST with GAT.METHODS: This cross-sectional study included 90 healthy children. A general interview and complete eye examination were performed. Following successful GATIOP measurement, ORA and CST were conducted. The CST parameters were A 1/2 length(A1 L, A2 L), A 1/2 velocity(A1 V, A2 V), highest concavity deformation amplitude(HCDA), radius of curvature(Ro C), peak distance(PD), central corneal thickness(CCT) and IOP. The ORA parameters were corneal hysteresis(CH), corneal resistance factor(CRF), Goldmann-correlated IOP(IOP-G) and corneal compensated IOP(IOP-CC). Extracted data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science software.RESULTS: Totally 39 males with age of 9.08±1.60(6-12)y and 51 females with age of 8.96±1.55(6-13)y were included. Many CST parameters were significantly correlated with CH, CRF, IOP-G and IOP-CC. Some CST parameters had a significant correlation with GAT-IOP, including IOP-CST in both eyes and HCDA, A2 L, PD, and RoC in the left eye, but none with age, except A2 L in the right eye. The CRF measurement showed a significant correlation with GAT-IOP in both eyes and CH in the right eye, yet, none with age. Among all CST and ORA parameters, CCT-CST in both eyes and A1 L in right eye had a significant correlation with gender, although this was a negligible negative correlation. Comparison of mean IOP values by different devices showed a significantly highest IOP overestimation by CST and lowest by IOP-CC compared with GAT. Also, IOP-G versus IOP-CST significantly had the lowest IOP overestimation among others. Overall, either low positive correlation or negligible correlation was found between IOP measurements by 3 instruments.CONCLUSION: The study finds the highest IOP overestimation by CST and lowest by IOP-CC compared with GAT. The main idea is the use of hashing tables in order to prune a considerable portion of graph database that cannot contain the answer set. These tables are implemented using column-based techniques and are used to store graphs of database, frequent sub-graphs and the neighborhood of nodes. In order to exact checking of remaining graphs, the vertex invariant is used for isomorphism test which can be parallel implemented. | 10 | A Fault Tolerant Control Scheme Using the Feasible Constrained Control Allocation Strategy显示文摘This paper investigates the necessity of feasibility considerations in a fault tolerant control system using the constrained control allocation methodology where both static and dynamic actuator constraints are considered. In the proposed feasible control allocation scheme, the constrained model predictive control(MPC) is employed as the main controller. This considers the admissible region of the control allocation problem as its constraints. Using the feasibility notion in the control allocation problem provides the main controller with information regarding the actuator′s status, which leads to closed loop system performance improvement. Several simulation examples under normal and faulty conditions are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The main results clearly indicate that closed loop performance and stability characteristics can be significantly degraded by neglecting the actuator constraints in the main controller. | 12 | An evaluation of central Iran’s protected areas under different climate change scenarios (A Case on Markazi and Hamedan provinces)显示文摘Global climate change poses a new challenge for species and can even push some species toward an extinction vortex. The most affected organisms are those with narrow tolerance to the climatic factors but many large mammals such as ungulates with a wider ecological niche are also being affected indirectly. Our research mainly used wild sheep in central Iran as a model species to explore how the suitable habitats will change under different climatic scenarios and to determine if current borders of protected areas will adequately protect habitat requirements. To create habitat models we used animal-vehicle collision points as an input for species presence data. We ran habitat models using Max Ent modeling approach under different climatic scenarios of the past, present and future(under the climatic scenarios for minimum(RCP2.6) and maximum(RCP8.5) CO2 concentration trajectories). We tried to estimate the overlap and the width of the ecological niche using relevant metrics. In order to analyze the effectiveness of the protected areas, suitable maps were concerted to binary maps using True Skill Statistic(TSS) threshold and measured the similarity of the binary maps for each scenario using Kappa index. In order to assess the competence of the present protected areas boundary in covering the distribution of species, two different scenarios were employed, which are ensemble scenario 1: an ensemble of the binary maps of the species distribution in Mid-Holocene, present, and RCP2.6;and ensemble scenario 2: an ensemble of binary suitability maps in Mid-Holocene, present, and RCP8.5. Then, the borders of modeled habitats with the boundaries of 23 existing protected areas in two central provinces in Iran were compared. The predicted species distribution under scenario 1(RCP2.6) was mostly similar to its current distribution(Kappa = 0.53) while the output model under scenario 2(RCP8.5) indicated a decline in the species distribution range. Under the first ensemble scenario, current borders of the protected areas in Hamedan province showed better efficiency to cover the model species distribution range. Analyzing Max Ent spatial models under the second climatic scenario suggested that protected areas in both Markazi and Hamedan provinces will not cover 'high suitability' areas in the future. | 13 | Prevalence of depression and anxiety among children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes:a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background Evaluation of psychiatric disorders in children is essential in timely treatment.Despite individual studies,there is no information on the exact status of psychiatric disorders in children.The present study was conducted to determine the prevalence of depression among children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.Methods This meta-analysis is registered with PROSPERO(CRD42021231491).Several databases(Web of Science,Scopus,and PubMed)were searched from January 1,2000 to December 15,2020.The key words included:depression,anxiety,children,and diabetes.The steps of search,comprising screening,risk of bias,and extraction of study data,were performed separately by two researchers.Results It was found that a total of 109 studies had been conducted involving 52,493 children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.These studies were included in the present review study.The prevalence of depression,anxiety among children with type 1 diabetes were 22.2%[95%confidence interval(CI)19.2–25.2],and 17.7%(95%CI 15.2–20.1),respectively.The prevalence of depression was higher among girls(29.7%)than boys(19.7%).The prevalence of depression was higher in lower-middle-income countries at 29.3%(95%CI 18.6–40.0).The prevalence of depression among children with type 2 diabetes was 22.7%(95%CI 17.3–28.0).Conclusion The results of the present study indicate the importance of paying attention to extensive periodic screening and appropriate activities to reduce pediatric depression. | Majidreza Akbarizadeh Mahin Naderi far Fereshteh Ghaljaei | 2022 | World Journal of Pediatrics2022,18,1: | 2 |
