| 2 | In vitro-in vivo correlation study on nimesulide loaded hydroxypropylmethylcellulose microparticles显示文摘This study involves mathematical simulation model such as in vitro-in vivo correlation(IVIVC) development for various extended release formulations of nimesulide loaded hydroxypropylmethylcellulose(HPMC) microparticles(M1,M2 and M3 containing 1,2,and 3 g HPMC,respectively and 1 g drug in each) having variable release characteristics. In vitro dissolution data of these formulations were correlated to their relevant in vivo absorption profiles followed by predictability worth analysis of these Level A IVIVC.Nimaran was used as control formulation to validate developed formulations and their respective models. The regression coefficients of IVIVC plots for M1,M2,M3 and Nimaran were 0.834 9,0.831 2,0.927 2 and 0.898 1,respectively.The internal prediction error for all formulations was within limits,i.e.,<10%.A good IVIVC was found for controlled release nimesulide loaded HPMC floating M3 microparticles. In other words, this mathematical simulation model is best fit for biowaiver studies which involves study parameters as those adopted for M3 because the value of its IVIVC regression coefficient is the closest to 1 as compared to M1 and M2. | Shujaat Ali KHAN Mahmood AHMAD Ghulam MURTAZA Muhammad Naeem AAMIR Rozina KOUSAR Fatima RASOOL Shahiq-u-ZAMAN | 2010 | 药学学报2010,45,6: | 0 |
| 3 | Analysis and Forecasting COVID-19 Outbreak in Pakistan Using Decomposition and Ensemble Model显示文摘COVID-19 has caused severe health complications and produced a substantial adverse economic impact around the world.Forecasting the trend of COVID-19 infections could help in executing policies to effectively reduce the number of new cases. In this study,we apply the decomposition and ensemble model to forecast COVID-19 confirmed cases, deaths, and recoveries in Pakistan for the upcoming month until the end of July. For the decomposition of data, the Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition(EEMD)technique is applied.EEMD decomposes the data into small components, called Intrinsic Mode Functions(IMFs).For individual IMFs modelling,we use the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average(ARIMA)model. The data used in this study is obtained from the official website of Pakistan that is publicly available and designated for COVID-19 outbreak with daily updates. Our analyses reveal that the number of recoveries, new cases, and deaths are increasing in Pakistan exponentially.Based on the selected EEMD-ARIMA model, the new confirmed cases are expected to rise from 213,470 to 311,454 by 31 July 2020,which is an increase of almost 1.46 times with a 95%prediction interval of 246,529 to 376,379.The 95%prediction interval for recovery is 162,414 to 224,579,with an increase of almost two times in total from 100802 to 193495 by 31 July 2020.On the other hand, the deaths are expected to increase from 4395 to 6751,which is almost 1.54 times, with a 95%prediction interval of 5617 to 7885.Thus,the COVID-19 forecasting results of Pakistan are alarming for the next month until 31 July 2020.They also confirm that the EEMD-ARIMA model is useful for the short-term forecasting of COVID-19,and that it is capable of keeping track of the real COVID-19 data in nearly all scenarios. The decomposition and ensemble strategy can be useful to help decision-makers in developing short-term strategies about the current number of disease occurrences until an appropriate vaccine is developed. | Xiaoli Qiang Muhammad Aamir Muhammad Naeem Shaukat Ali Adnan Aslam Zehui Shao | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,7: | 0 |
| 4 | Seed Priming and Foliar Supplementation withβ-aminobutyric Acid Alleviates Drought Stress through Mitigation of Oxidative Stress and Enhancement of Antioxidant Defense in Linseed(Linum usitatissimum L.)显示文摘Drought is one of the critical limitations to agricultural soils and crop plants.Scarcity of water is increasing due to climate change that lead to increasing threats to global food security. Therefore, ecofriendly and cost effective strategies are highly desirable for mitigating drought stress along with sustainable and smart agricultural production. The aim of the study was to mitigate DS using seed priming and exogenous supplementation ofβ-aminobutyric acid(BABA)in linseed(Linum usitatissimum L.).Different doses(0,50,100 and 150μM)of BABA were used for seed priming agent and foliar spraying under three soil moisture levels viz.,25%(SM25),45%(SM45)and 65%(SM65).The response variables of both experiments included different agro-botanical traits and oxidative stress indicators such as melondialdehyde content, free proline accumulation, and antioxidant defense in plants. The linseed plants showed water stress at SM25 that reduced plant height, number of branches per plant, time taken to flower initiation and heading, and root and shoot dry weights.Additionally, the number of capsules and seeds per capsule showed a significant decline at SM25,which led to a drastic reduction in 100-seed weight yield in linseed plants in both experiments. However, seed priming and foliar supplementation with of BABA(50–100μM)significantly improved these morpho-agronomical attributes in linseed plants under DS.The results revealed that the BABA was fully active in linseed plants at SM25.Interestingly,the combination of SM25 with BABA significantly improved the antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and peroxidase(POD)activity, which significantly enhanced DS tolerance in linseed plants. These findings might be useful to oil seed breeders and farmers linseed for breeding program in linseed plants as well as sustainable agricultural production of oil seed crop plants. | Tauqeer Ahmad Yasir Muhammad Ateeq Allah Wasaya Mubshar Hussain Naeem Sarwar Khuram Mubeen Mudassir Aziz Muhammad Aamir Iqbal Chukwuma COgbaga Ibrahim Al-Ashkar Md Atikur Rahman Ayman El Sabagh | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,11: | 0 |
