| 2 | Treatment outcomes and adverse drug reactions among patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis receiving all-oral,long-term regimens:First record viewing report from Pakistan显示文摘Objective:To assess the effectiveness and adverse drug reactions of all-oral regimens for patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.Methods:This retrospective study was conducted at 10 Programmatic Management of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis sites in Punjab province of Pakistan.Patients receiving treatment for drug resistant tuberculosis from July 2019 to December 2020 with at least interim result i.e.6th month culture conversion or final outcomes(cured,complete,lost to follow-up,failure,death)available,were included in the study.Data was extracted from electronic data management system.For the reporting and management of adverse drug events,active tuberculosis drug safety monitoring and management was implemented across all sites.All the data was analyzed using SPSS version 22.Results:Out of 947 drug resistant tuberculosis patients included in this study,579(68%)of the patients had final outcomes available.Of these,384(67.9%)successfully completed their treatment.Out of 368(32%)patients who had their interim results available,all had their 6th month culture negative.Combining new medications was thought to result in serious adverse outcomes such as QT prolongation.However,this study did not record any severe adverse events among patients.Conclusions:All-oral regimens formulation guided by overall treatment effectiveness resulted in treatment outcomes comparable to those obtained with traditional injectable treatment. | Hira Aslam Asad Omar Razia Fatima Usman Rasool Aashifa Yaqoob Waseem Ullah Aamir Khan Yusra Habib Khan Tauqeer Hussain Mallhi | 2023 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2023,16,2: | 0 |
| 3 | In vitro-in vivo correlation study on nimesulide loaded hydroxypropylmethylcellulose microparticles显示文摘This study involves mathematical simulation model such as in vitro-in vivo correlation(IVIVC) development for various extended release formulations of nimesulide loaded hydroxypropylmethylcellulose(HPMC) microparticles(M1,M2 and M3 containing 1,2,and 3 g HPMC,respectively and 1 g drug in each) having variable release characteristics.In vitro dissolution data of these formulations were correlated to their relevant in vivo absorption profiles followed by predictability worth analysis of these Level A IVIVC.Nimaran was used as control formulation to validate developed formulations and their respective models.The regression coefficients of IVIVC plots for M1,M2,M3 and Nimaran were 0.834 9,0.831 2,0.927 2 and 0.898 1,respectively.The internal prediction error for all formulations was within limits,i.e.,<10%.A good IVIVC was found for controlled release nimesulide loaded HPMC floating M3 microparticles.In other words,this mathematical simulation model is best fit for biowaiver studies which involves study parameters as those adopted for M3 because the value of its IVIVC regression coefficient is the closest to 1 as compared to M1 and M2. | Shujaat Ali KHAN Mahmood AHMAD Ghulam MURTAZA Muhammad Naeem AAMIR Rozina KOUSAR Fatima RASOOL Shahiq-u-ZAMAN | 2010 | 药学学报2010,45,6: | 0 |
| 4 | Molecular and in vitro biochemical assessment of chemosensory protein 10 from brown planthopper Nilaparvata lugens at acidic pH显示文摘Chemosensory proteins(CSPs)are important molecular components of the insect olfactory system,which are involved in capturing,binding,and transporting hydrophobic odour molecules across the sensillum in sensillar lymph in regulating insect behavior.This protein family(CSPs)is also involved in many other systems that are not linked to olfactory receptors in olfactory sensilla.The brown planthopper(BPH)is a monophagous pest of rice that causes damage by sucking phloem sap and transmitting a number of diseases caused by viruses.In this study,fluorescence competitive binding assay and fluorescence quenching assay at acidic p H were performed as well as homology modelling to describe the binding affinity of Nlug CSP10.Fluorescence competitive binding assay(FCBA)demonstrated that Nlug CSP10 bound strongly to nonadecane,farnesene,and 2-tridecanone at acidic p H.The results of FCBA indicated that Nlug CSP10 bound different ligands at the physiological p H(5.0)of the bulk sensillum lymph.Fluorescence quenching assay demonstrated that Nlug CSP10 generated a stable complex with 2-tridecanone,while two ligands nonadecane and farnesene collided due to molecular collisions.The interaction of selected ligands with the modelled structure of Nlug CSP10 was also analyzed,which found the key amino acids(Gln23,Gln24,Gln25,Asn27,Met33,Ser34,Ile35,Tyr36,Asn42,Met43,Val45,Asn46,Asn93,Arg96,Ala97,Lys99,and Ala100)in Nlug CSP10 that were involved in binding of volatile compounds.The present study contributes to the binding profile of Nlug CSP10 that promotes the development of behaviorally active ligands based on BPH olfactory system. | Muhammad Irfan WARIS Aneela YOUNAS Rana Muhammad Kaleem ULLAH Fatima RASOOL Muhammad Muzammal ADEEL WANG Man-qun | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2022,21,3: | 0 |
| 5 | Association of spiritual well-being with quality of life among undergraduate nursing students显示文摘Objective:The study was conducted with the aim of determining the spiritual well-being(SWB)of nursing students and its association with quality of life(QOL).Materials and Methods:A cross-sectional analytical study was conducted with a sample size of 504 nursing students collected from January 2023 to March 2023 in the nursing institutes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Pakistan,using convenient sampling techniques.A Spiritual Health and Life-Orientation Measure(SHALOM)questionnaire for SWB and K-27 QOL(K-27 QOL)instrument were used for data collection that contains three parts.Results:The number of female participants was in the majority(50.4%)compared to male nurses(49.6%).The overall mean score of SWB of the students was 3.79±0.48,while the mean K-27 QOL score was 3.73±0.57.There were significant differences between the groups of gender(P=0.001),while no significant difference within the groups of semester(P=0.061)and college status(0.285).In QOL,there were significant differences within the groups of semester(P=0.000)and college status(P=0.036)while no significant difference in gender category(P=0.480).SHALOM score is positively and moderately correlated with QOL score(r=0.597,P<0.05).Conclusion:Spiritual practices are one of the important factors that are associated positively with QOL,therefore to enhance the QOL,it will require spiritual practices. | Ahmad SHAHID Hina HUSSAIN Nazia SHUAIB Ahmad RASOOL Fatima YOUNIS Zoya NASAB | 2024 | Journal of Integrative Nursing2024,6,1: | 0 |
