| 1 | 2D Layered Double Hydroxide Nanosheets and Their Derivatives Toward E cient Oxygen Evolution Reaction显示文摘Layered double hydroxides(LDHs)have attracted tremendous research interest in widely spreading applications.Most notably,transition-metal-bearing LDHs are expected to serve as highly active electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)due to their layered structure combined with versatile com-positions.Furthermore,reducing the thickness of platelet LDH crystals to nanometer or even molecular scale via cleavage or delamination provides an important clue to enhance the activity.In this review,recent progresses on rational design of LDH nanosheets are reviewed,including direct synthesis via traditional coprecipitation,homogeneous precipitation,and newly developed topochemical oxidation as well as chemical exfoliation of parent LDH crystals.In addition,diverse strategies are introduced to modulate their electrochemical activity by tuning the composition of host metal cations and intercalated counter-anions,and incorporating dopants,cavi-ties,and single atoms.In particular,hybridizing LDHs with conductive components or in situ growing them on conductive substrates to produce freestanding electrodes can further enhance their intrinsic catalytic activity.A brief discussion on future research directions and prospects is also summarized. | Xueyi Lu Hairong Xue Hao Gong Mingjun Bai Daiming Tang Renzhi Ma Takayoshi Sasaki | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,7: | 8 |

| 3 | The FMEDA Based DC Calculation for Railway Safety Computer显示文摘This paper presents a new algorithm to compute the Diagnostic coverage(DC) for railway safety computer using the Failure modes effects and diagnostic analysis(FMEDA) theory. The importance to work out the DC accurately is stressed. A certain type of railway safety computer's output element is taken as an example to show how the DC is worked out using the FMEDA method. The probability of dangerous failures per hour(PFH) of one certain safety computer is obtained considering the DC.The final results show that the DC is 99.6% and the PFH of the safety is 1.165 fit, which means 1.165 dangerous failures may occur during 1 billion hours' working time,running up to the requirement of the Safety integrity level4(SIL4). | 5 | Construction of WO_(3)/Ti-doped WO_(3)bi-layer nanopore arrays with superior electrochromic and capacitive performances显示文摘Crystalline WO_(3)/Ti-doped WO_(3)bi-layer nanopore arrays were constructed by the template synthesis of a WO_(3)nanopore layer modified by a magnetron sputtering of an amorphous Ti-doped/WO_(3)layer.The obtained bi-layer nanopore array shows a remarkable electrochromic performance with large dual-band optical modulation in both visible(VIS)and near infrared(NIR)regions(optical modulation of over 70%in the wavelength range from 600 to 1600 nm)and the fast response speed(coloring for 3.4 s and bleaching for 6.6 s).In addition,the bi-layer WO_(3)/Ti-doped WO_(3)nanopore array also present superior energy-storage properties(areal capacitance of 44.0 mF cm−2 and good rate capability),better than that of titanium-free thin films.The special bifunctional characteristics of electrochromism and pseudocapacitance can be ascribed to the large specific surface area provided by the architectural design,rich ion channels in the amorphous layer as well as proper titanium doping,which bestows the bi-layer nanopore array a great potential in clean energy applications. | Yingdi Shi Shujing Liu Yong Zhang Mingjun Sun Kai Tang Jiewu Cui Xia Shu Yan Wang Jiaqin Liu Yucheng Wu | 2019 | Tungsten2019,1,3: | 2 |
| 6 | Synthesis of novel superhard materials under ultrahigh pressure显示文摘Superhard materials are solids whose Vickers hardness is beyond 40 GPa. They have wide applications in industry such as cutting and polishing tools, wear-resistant coatings. Most preparations of superhard materials are conducted under extreme pressure and temperature conditions, not only for scientific investigations, but also for the practical applications. In this paper, we would introduce the recent progress on the design and preparations of novel superhard materials, mainly on nanopolycrystalline diamond, B–C–N superhard solid solutions, and cubic-Si3N4/diamond nanocomposites prepared under ultrahigh pressure and high temperature(HPHT), using multi-anvil apparatus based on the hinged-type cubic press. Bulk materials of all these superhard phases have been successfully synthesized and are systematically tested. We emphasize that ultra-HPHT method plays an important role in the scientific research and industrial production of superhard materials. | 12 | Material Removal Characteristics of Single-Crystal 4H-SiC Based on Varied-Load Nanoscratch Tests显示文摘Single-crystal silicon carbide(SiC)has been widely applied in the military and civil fields because of its excellent physical and chemical properties.However,as is typical in hard-to-machine materials,the good mechanical properties result in surface defects and subsurface damage during precision or ultraprecision machining.In this study,single-and double-varied-load nanoscratch tests were systematically performed on single-crystal 4H-SiC using a nanoindenter system with a Berkovich indenter.The material removal characteristics and cracks under different planes,indenter directions,normal loading rates,and scratch intervals were analyzed using SEM,FIB,and a 3D profilometer,and the mechanisms of material removal and crack propagation were studied.The results showed that the Si-plane of the single-crystal 4H-SiC and edge forward indenter direction are most suitable for material removal and machining.The normal loading rate had little effect on the scratch depth,but a lower loading rate increased the ductile region and critical depth of transition.Additionally,the crack interaction and fluctuation of the depth-distance curves of the second scratch weakened with an increase in the scratch interval,the status of scratches and chips changed,and the comprehensive effects of the propagation and interaction of the three cracks resulted in material fractures and chip accumulation.The calculated and experimental values of the median crack depth also showed good consistency and relativity.Therefore,this study provides an important reference for the high-efficiency and precision machining of single-crystal SiC to ensure high accuracy and a long service life. | Kun Tang Wangping Ou Cong Mao Jie Liang Moke Zhang Mingjun Zhang Yongle Hu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,4: | 1 |

| 20 | Semantic segmentation for remote sensing images based on an AD-HRNet model显示文摘Semantic segmentation for remote sensing images faces challenges of unbalanced category weight,rich context causing difficulties of recognition,blurred boundaries of multi-scale objects,and so on.To address these problems,we propose a new model by combining HRNet with attention mechanisms and dilated convolution,denoted as:AD-HRNet for the semantic segmentation of remote sensing images.In the framework of AD-HRNet,we obtained the weight value of each category based on an improved weighted cross-entropy function by introducing the median frequency balance method to solve the issue of class weight imbalance.The Shuffle-CBAM module with channel attention and spatial attention in AD-HRNet framework was applied to extract more global context information of images through slightly increasing the amount of computation.To address the problem of blurred boundaries caused by multi-scale object segmentation and edge segmentation,we developed an MDC-DUC module in AD-HRNet framework to capture the context information of multi-scale objects and the edge information of many irregular objects.Taking Postdam,Vaihingen,and SAMA-VTOL datasets as materials,we verified the performance of AD-HRNet by comparing with eight typical semantic segmentation models.Experimental results shown that AD-HRNet increases the mIoUs to 75.59%and 71.58%based on the Postdam and Vaihingen datasets,respectively. | Xue Yang Xiang Fan Mingjun Peng Qingfeng Guan Luliang Tang | 2022 | International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1: | 0 |
