2Overview of the Second Generation AVS Video Coding Standard(AVS2)显示文摘AVS2 is a new generation video coding standard developed by the AVS working group. Compared with the first generation AVS video coding standard, known as AVS1, AVS2 significantly improves coding performance by using many new coding technologies,e.g., adaptive block partition and two level transform coding. Moreover, for scene video, e.g. surveillance video and conference video, AVS2 provided a background picture modeling scheme to achieve more accurate prediction, which can also make object detection and tracking in surveillance video coding more flexible. Experimental results show that AVS2 is competitive with High Efficiency Video Coding(HEVC) in terms of performance. 3Fe5C2 nanoparticles as low-cost HER electrocatalyst:the importance of Co substitution显示文摘Constructing and understanding the doping effect of secondary metal in transition metal carbide(TMC)catalysts is pivotal for the design of low-cost hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) electrocatalysts. In this work, we developed a wet-chemistry strategy for synthesizing Co-modified Fe_5C_2 nanoparticles((Fe_(1-x)Cox)_5C_2 NPs) as highly active HER electrocatalysts in basic solution. The structure of(Fe_(1-x)Cox)_5C_2 NPs was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectra(EXAFS) and scanning/transmission electron microscopy(S/TEM), indicating that the isomorphous substitution of cobalt in the lattice of Fe_5C_2.(Fe_(0.75) Co_(0.25))_5C_2 exhibited the best HER activity(174 mV for j = -10 mA/cm^2). Computational calculation results indicate that Co provides the most active site for HER. X-ray adsorption spectra(XAS) studies further suggested that the electron transfer in Fe–C bonds are enhanced by the substitution of Co, which modulates the hydrogen adsorption on the adjacent electronic-enriched carbon, and therefore promotes HER activity. 4Highly efficient K-Fe/C catalysts derived from metal-organic frameworks towards ammonia synthesis显示文摘Fe-based catalysts have been discovered as the best elementary metal-based heterogeneous catalysts for the ammonia synthesis in industrial application during the last century.Herein,a novel and scalable strategy is developed to prepare the K-promoted Fe/C catalyst with extremely high Fe loading (> 50 wt.%) through pyrolysis of the Fe-based metal-organic framework (MOF) xerogel.The obtained K-Fe/C catalysts exhibited superior activity and stability towards ammonia synthesis.The weight-specific reaction rate of Fe/C with K2O as promoter can achieve 12.4 mmol·g-1·h-1 at 350 ℃ and 30.4 mmol·g-1·h-1 at 400 ℃,approximately four and two times higher than that of the commercial fused-iron catalyst (3.4 mmol·g-1·h-1 at 350 ℃ and 16.7 mmol·g-1·h-1 at 400 ℃) under the same condition,respectively.The excellent performance of K-Fe/C can be ascribed to the inherited structure derived from the metal-organic frame precursors and the promotion of potassium,which can modify the binding energy of reactant molecules on the Fe surface,transfer electrons to iron for effective activation of nitrogen,prevent agglomeration of Fe nanoparticle (NPs) and restrain side reaction of carbon matrix to methane.Pengqi Yan Wenhan Guo Zibin Liang Wei Meng Zhen Yin Siwei Li Mengzhu Li Mengtao Zhang Jie Yan Dequan Xiao Ruqiang Zou Ding Ma 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:4

6LncRNA LINC00525 suppresses p21 expression viamRNA decay and triplex-mediated changes in chromatin structure in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Background:Emerging evidence suggests that long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)play crucial roles in various cancers.In the present study,we aim to investigate the function and molecular mechanism of an up-regulated and survivalassociated lncRNA,LINC00525,in lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD).Methods:The expression level of LINC00525 in tissueswas determined by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)and in situ hybridization(ISH).The functional role of LINC00525 in LUAD was investigated using gain-and loss-of-function approaches,both in vivo and in vitro.RNA pull-down,RNA immunoprecipitation(RIP),chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP),triplex-capture assay,dual-luciferase assay,gene expression microarray,and bioinformatics analysis were used to investigate the potential underlying mechanisms involved.Results:LINC00525 is highly expressed in LUAD cells and tissues.Survival analysis indicated that upregulation of LINC00525 was associated with poor prognosis in patients with LUAD patients.Knockdown of LINC00525 inhibited cell proliferation and cell cycle progression in vitro.In xenograft models,LINC00525 knockdown suppressed tumor growth and tumorigenesis of tumorbearing mice.Mechanistically,LINC00525 epigenetically suppressed p21 transcription by guiding Enhancer Of Zeste 2 Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 Subunit(EZH2)to the p21 promoter through an formation of RNA-DNA triplex with the p21 promoter,leading to increased trimethylation of lysine 27 on histone 3(H3K27me3)of the p21 promoter.In addition,LINC00525 repressed p21 expression post-transcriptionally by enhancing p21mRNA decay.LINC00525 promoted p21mRNAdecay by competitively binding toRNABindingMotif Single Stranded Interacting Protein 2(RBMS2).Conclusion:Our findings demonstrate that LINC00525 promotes the progression of LUAD by reducing the transcription and stability of p21 mRNA in concert with EZH2 and RBMS2,thus suggesting that LINC00525 may be a potential therapeutic target for clinical intervention in LUAD.Panqi Fang Hao Chen Zhifei Ma Chencheng Han Wenda Yin Siwei Wang Hongyu Zhu Wenjia Xia Jie Wang Lin Xu Tongyan Liu Rong Yin 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,7:2

10Evolution of AVS video coding standards:twenty years of innovation and development显示文摘Ever since the founding of the Audio and Video Coding Standard(AVS)Workgroup of China in 2002,it has been dedicated to advancing and innovating the digital audio-video industry with highly efficient and economical encoding/decoding technologies.Three representative generations of video coding standards have been finalized and published,consistently improving the coding performance in the past two decades.The series of AVS standards establish solid foundations for ubiquitous video applications in the areas including acquisition,coding,production,delivery,integrated system,public service,general screen content,and mixed reality media.Along with the standardization process,an extensive amount of studies have been carried out on efficiency-aware designation,algorithm optimization,and hardware implementation of these innovative video coding techniques.This paper explains how those developed techniques provide a lasting impact on the video coding community,extensively,technologically,and systematically.In particular,we provide a comprehensive survey of the three generations of the standards,and timely and in-depth summarize the efforts of the AVS video coding standards in the twenty years.The rate-distortion performance comparisons,in particular in terms of the 8K ultra-high-definition(UHD)contents,reflect the elegant design of the state-of-the-art AVS3 standards.We have also elaborated on a variety of well-established and promising applications,including commercial level real-time 8K encoder,high-frame-rate decoder chip for cell phone,and live streaming solution for sports.In addition,the China Central Television(CCTV)of China Media Group(CMG),the state television of China,has officially launched the first 8K broadcasting channel(CCTV-8K)since 2021 using AVS3.Given the significant success realized by the AVS standards,it is envisioned that a new era of 8K UHD video is arriving.Siwei MA Li ZHANG Shiqi WANG Chuanmin JIA Shanshe WANG Tiejun HUANG Feng WU Wen GAO 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,9:1

16Thermometry strategy developed based on fluorescence contrast driven by varying excitations in codoped LiNbO3显示文摘We propose what we believe is a novel optical thermometry strategy(FIR-Ex)based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)between two radiations associated with the same emission peak but different excitation wavelengths,in contrast to the traditional approach(FIR-Em),which depends on the FIR at varying emission wavelengths.The temperature-dependent FIR within the FIR-Ex strategy arises from the different charge/energy evolution routes,rather than the distribution of thermally coupled levels within the FIR-Em strategy.Considerable diversity in thermal behaviors and luminescence mechanisms was demonstrated by analyzing the 618 nm red emission in Pr^3+-doped congruent LiNbO3(Pr:CLN)under 360 and 463 nm excitations.The temperature sensitivity was further improved via Mg^2+ codoping due to the optimization of charge dynamics and energy transfer processes.Given its wide detection scope,relatively high absolute sensitivity at low temperature,and high tunability of temperature sensitivity,the FIR-Ex strategy is promising for developing optical temperature-sensing materials with high performance.SIWEI LONG SHAOPENG LIN DECAI MA YUNZHONG ZHU HUASHAN LI BIAO WANG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,2:1
