1Recent area and ice volume change of Kangwure Glacier in the middle of Himalayas显示文摘This paper calculated and evaluated the area and ice volume changes of Kangwure Glacier in Mt.Xixiabangma,middle of Himalayas in the past 3 decades,based on the field survey of glacier boundary position by differential GPS and glacier depth by Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR),together with the topographic map and remote sense data.The studied data showed that the Kangwure Glacier has experienced significant mass deficit since the 1970s,with 34.2%of area loss,48.2%ofice volume loss and 7.5 m of average thickness decrease.This result revealed that the ice volume loss of Himalayan glaciers was more serious than expected.Analysis of meteorological data from two weather stations in the region of Mt.Xixiabangma,shows that the air temperature of this region has risen from the middle of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st century.Significant retreat of Himalayas glacier driven by climatic warming will have a remarkable impact on hydrology and ecosystem.MA LingLong TIAN LiDe PU JianChen WANG PengLing 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,20:17
2Quick ice mass loss and abrupt retreat of the maritime glaciers in the Kangri Karpo Mountains, southeast Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The maritime glaciers are sensitive to climate change because of high annual precipitation and high air temperature in the region. A combined comprehensive study was carried out based on glacier mass balance observation, GPS-based glacier terminus position survey, glacier Ground Penetrating Radar, topography maps and RS satellite images in the Kangri Karpo Mountains, Southeast Tibet. The study revealed a strong ice mass loss and quick glacier retreat since the 1970s. Ata Glacier, one glacier from the south slope of the Kangri Karpo Mountains, has formed a 6-km-long terminal moraine zone at the end of the glacier since the 1970s, and the accelerating retreat is largely due to the strong glacier sur- face melting. Mass balance study on the other four glaciers on the northern side of the Kangri Karpo Mountains shows that they are in large negative mass balance and the glaciers had retreated 15―19 m from May 2006 to May 2007. The in-situ glacier observation also shows that the glacier retreat is more obvious in small glaciers. 3Characteristics of recent temperate glacier fluctuations in the Parlung Zangbo River basin,southeast Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Little is known about recent variation of temperate glaciers on the Tibetan Plateau,although they are of particular theoretical and practical interests in terms of climate change and water supply.The study of glacier mass balance and terminus variation for six temperate glaciers in the Parlung Zangbo River basin,southeast Tibetan Plateau,shows the facts of the overall negative mass balance and the continued terminus retreat from 2005/2006 to 2007/2008.The mass balances of smaller glaciers were more negative compared to larger glaciers.Referring the trend of glacier mass balance in the Hengduan Mountains,the Himalayas and glacier shrinkage in southeast Tibetan Plateau,the mass loss and recession of temperate glacier in this region are expected if the current climate condition continues.YANG Wei YAO TanDong XU BaiQing MA LingLong WANG ZhiHui WAN Ming 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,20:11
4Seasonal variations of stable isotope in precipitation and moisture transport at Yushu,eastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Precipitation δ 18O at Yushu, eastern Tibetan Plateau, shows strong fluctuation and lack of clear seasonality. The seasonal pattern of precipitation stable isotope at Yushu is apparently different from either that of the southwest monsoon region to the south or that of the inland region to the north. This different seasonal pattern probably reflects the shift of different moisture sources. In this paper, we present the spatial comparison of the seasonal patterns of precipitation δ 18O, and calculate the moisture transport flux by using the NCAR/NCEP reanalysis data. This allows us to discuss the relation between moisture transport flux and precipitation δ 18O. This study shows that both the southwest monsoon from south and inland air mass transport from north affected the seasonal precipitation δ 18O at Yushu, eastern Tibetan Plateau. Southwest monsoon brings the main part of the moisture, but southwest transport flux is weaker than in the southern part of the Tibetan Plateau. However, contribution of the inland moisture from north or local evaporation moisture is enhanced. 52D organic semiconductors, the future of green nanotechnology显示文摘The discovery of 2D organic semiconductors of atomically thin structures has attracted great attention due to their emerging optical, electronic, optoelectronic and mechatronic properties. Recent progress in such organic nanostructures has opened new opportunities for engineering material properties in many ways, such as, 0D/1D/2D nanoparticles hybridization, strain engineering, atomic doping etc. Moreover, 2D organic nanostructures exhibit a unique feature of bio–functionality and are highly sensitive to bio-analytes. Such peculiar behavior in 2D organics can be utilized to design highly-efficient bio-sensors. Also, a bio-molecular integrated electronic/optoelectronic device with enhanced performance can be attained. Furthermore, the bio-degradable, biocompatible, biometabolizable, non-toxic behaviour and natural origin of organic nanomaterials can address the current ecological concerns of increasing inorganic material based electronic waste. This review highlights the benefits of 2D organic semiconductors. Considering the importance of strategic techniques for growing thin 2D organic layers,this review summarizes progress towards this direction. The possible challenges for long-time stability and future research directions in 2D organic nano electronics/optoelectronics are also discussed. 15Study on Brewing Technology of Pear Wine显示文摘[Objectives]The quality of pear wine is directly affected by parameter control in the production process, especially in the fermentation stage. The fermentation parameters of pear wine were controlled by studying the effects of fermentation parameters on the product, in order to optimize the fermentation parameters. [Methods]The fermentation conditions of pear wine were optimized by single factor experiments and an orthogonal experiment. [Results] The optimum fermentation conditions of pear wine were nitrogen source 1.0 g/L, fermentation temperature 20 ℃, and pH of fermentation liquid 4.3. The pear wine brewed was full, mellow and harmonious, and had a unique style. The ethanol content of the pear wine was 12.33 through physical and chemical analysis. 17Functional characterization of CYP81C16 involved in the tanshinone biosynthetic pathway in Salvia miltiorrhiza显示文摘Danshen,the dried roots and rhizomes of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge(S.miltiorrhiza),is widely used in the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Tanshinones,the bioactive compounds from Danshen,exhibit a wide spectrum of pharmacological properties,suggesting their potential for future therapeutic applications.Tanshinone biosynthesis is a complex process involving at least six P450 enzymes that have been identified and characterized,most of which belong to the CYP76 and CYP71 families.In this study,CYP81C16,a member of the CYP71 clan,was identified in S.miltiorrhiza.An in vitro assay revealed that it could catalyze the hydroxylation of four para-quinone-type tanshinones,namely neocryptotanshinone,deoxyneocryptotanshinone,and danshenxinkuns A and B.SmCYP81C16 emerged as a potential broad-spectrum oxidase targeting the C-18 position of para-quinone-type tanshinones with an impressive relative conversion rate exceeding 90%.Kinetic evaluations and in vivo assays underscored its highest affinity towards neocryptotanshinone among the tested substrates.The overexpression of SmCYP81C16 promoted the accumulation of(iso)tanshinone in hairy root lines.The characterization of SmCYP81C16 in this study accentuates its potential as a pivotal tool in the biotechnological production of tanshinones,either through microbial or plant metabolic engineering.REN Li LUO Linglong HU Zhimin MA Ying WANG Jian CHENG Yatian JIN Baolong CHEN Tong TANG Jinfu CUI Guanghong GUO Juan HUANG Luqi 2023Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,12:0
