| 2 | Weapon target assignment problem satisfying expected damage probabilities based on ant colony algorithm显示文摘A weapon target assignment (WTA) model satisfying expected damage probabilities with an ant colony algorithm is proposed. In order to save armament resource and attack the targets effectively, the strategy of the weapon assignment is that the target with greater threat degree has higher priority to be intercepted. The effect of this WTA model is not maximizing the damage probability but satisfying the whole assignment result. Ant colony algorithm has been successfully used in many fields, especially in combination optimization. The ant colony algorithm for this WTA problem is described by analyzing path selection, pheromone update, and tabu table update. | 5 | Isoliquiritigenin inhibits TGF-β1-induced fibrogenesis through activating autophagy via PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway in MRC-5 cells显示文摘Isoliquiritigenin(ISL),a natural flavonoid derived from the root of liquorice,has been reported to possess anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities.Previous studies have found that ISL plays a crucial role in anti-fibrosis of adipose tissue and renal tissue;however,its effect on pulmonary fibrogenesis has not been demonstrated.In this study,we aimed to explore the roles and the underlying mechanisms of ISL in TGF-β1-induced fibrogenesis using human lung fibroblast-derived MRC-5 cells.Cell proliferation and migration were determined by MTT and wound healing assay,respectively.The expression levels of alpha-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),collagen type I alpha 1(COLIA1)and fibronectin(FN),microtubule-associated protein light chain 3(LC3)and related signaling molecules were detected by quantitative real-time PCR,western blot and immunofluorescence assay,correspondingly.EGFP-LC3 transfection was used for autophagy analysis.The results showed that ISL inhibited the TGF-β1-induced proliferation and migration,and down-regulated the expressions ofα-SMA,COLIA1 and FN.ISL treatment led to up-regulation of LC3 in TGF-β1-treated MRC-5 cells,accompanied by significant decrease in the phosphorylation levels of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K),protein kinase B(AKT),and mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR).In addition,the inhibitory effects of ISL on TGF-β1-induced fibrogenic features in MRC-5 cells were enhanced by pretreatment with autophagy activator Rapmycin and PI3K/AKT inhibitor LY294002 and reversed by autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine and PI3K/AKT activator IGF-1.Taken together,our results demonstrated that ISL could attenuate the fibrogenesis of TGF-β1-treated MRC-5 cells by activating autophagy via suppressing the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway.Therefore,ISL holds a great potential to be developed as a novel therapeutic agent for the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis. | Jinjuan He Hao Peng Meifang Wang Ying Liu Xingrong Guo Bin Wang Longjun Dai Xueqin Cheng Zhongji Meng Leyong Yuan Fenglin Cai Yijun Tang | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,8: | 16 |
| 6 | Calcified roasting-acid leaching process of vanadium from low-grade vanadium-containing stone coal显示文摘The low-grade vanadium-containing stone coal used in this experiment was collected from Wuxi Country, Chongqing City, China. The experiment focused on the vanadium recovery from roasted residue through optimizing the process conditions of an effective and environmentally-friendly technology, named calcified roasting-sulfuric acid leaching technology. By single-factor experiments and orthogonal experiments, the effects of roasting temperature, roasting time, sulfuric acid concentration and leaching time on the leaching ratio of vanadium were analyzed. | 9 | Effects of Al^(3+)doping on the structure and properties of goethite and its adsorption behavior towards phosphate显示文摘Al substitution in goethite is common in soils, and has strong influence on the structure and physicochemical properties of goethite. In this research, a series of Al-doped goethites were synthesized, and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS)spectroscopy. The adsorption behavior of these samples towards PO43-was also investigated. Characterization results demonstrated that increasing Al content in goethite led to a reduction in crystallinity, increase in specific surface area(SSA), and morphology change from needle-like to granular. Rietveld structure refinement revealed that the lattice parameter a remained almost constant and b slightly decreased, but c was significantly reduced, and the calculated crystal density increased. EXAFS analysis demonstrated that the Fe(Al)–O distance in the structure of the doped goethites was almost the same, but the Fe–Fe(Al) distance decreased with increasing Al content. Surface analysis showed that, with increasing Al content, the content of OH groups on the mineral surface increased. The adsorption of phosphate per unit mass of Al-doped goethite increased, while adsorption per unit area decreased owing to the decrease of the relative proportion of(110) facets in the total surface area of the minerals. | 10 | The chromosome-scale genome of Phoebe bournei reveals contrasting fates of terpene synthase (TPS)-a and TPS-b subfamilies显示文摘Terpenoids,including aromatic volatile monoterpenoids and sesquiterpenoids,function in defense against pathogens and herbivores.Phoebe trees are remarkable for their scented wood and decay resistance.Unlike other Lauraceae species investigated to date,Phoebe species predominantly accumulate sesquiterpenoids instead of monoterpenoids.Limited genomic data restrict the elucidation of terpenoid variation and functions.Here,we present a chromosome-scale genome assembly of a Lauraceae tree,Phoebe bournei,and identify 72 full-length terpene synthase(TPS)genes.Genome-level comparison shows pervasive lineage-specific duplication and contraction of TPS subfamilies,which have contributed to the extreme terpenoid variation within Lauraceae species.Although the TPS-a and TPS-b subfamilies were both expanded via tandem duplication in P.bournei,more TPS-a copies were retained and constitutively expressed,whereas more TPS-b copies were lost.The TPS-a genes on chromosome 8 functionally diverged to synthesize eight highly accumulated sesquiterpenes in P.bournei.The essential oil of P.bournei and its main component,b-caryophyllene,exhibited antifungal activities against the three most widespread canker pathogens of trees.The TPS-a and TPS-b subfamilies have experienced contrasting fates over the evolution of P.bournei.The abundant sesquiterpenoids produced by TPS-a proteins contribute to the excellent pathogen resistance of P.bournei trees.Overall,this study sheds light on the evolution and adaptation of terpenoids in Lauraceae and provides valuable resources for boosting plant immunity against pathogens in various trees and crops. | Xiao Han Junhong Zhang Shuang Han Sun Li Chong Guanliang Meng Minyan Song Yang Wang Shengcai Zhou Chengcheng Liu Luhuan Lou Xiongzhen Lou Longjun Cheng Erpei Lin Huahong Huang Qi Yang Zaikang Tong | 2022 | Plant Communications2022,3,6: | 3 |

The reusing method was conducted by leaching EMR with sulfuric acid and the optimal leaching condition was 1:3 (g/g) as the ratio of solid to liquid with 20% (g/g) H2SO4 , heating at 90 ℃ for 3 hours, which aims at extracting Mn in a sulfuric acid medium. The produced MnSO4 solution was precipitated by adding alkali and oxidized in aqueous phase. | 14 | Sr speciation in producing SrCO_3 with celestite显示文摘Strontium speciation transferring in strontium residue and mixing strontium ore are investigated with extracting experiment, X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), X-ray fluorescence spectrometer(XRF) and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy(AAS). The results show that there are strontium carbonate, strontium sulfate, strontium sulfide, and a little amount of strontium silicate and strontium ferrite in strontium residue. Impurities in strontium residue mainly contain carbonate and oxide of calcium, iron, magnesium and aluminum etc. The amount of strontium sulfide in strontium residue is larger than that in strontium ore. And a little strontium silicate and strontium ferrite are found in strontium ore. It is concluded that acid soluble method is used firstly in the process of producing strontium carbonate from mixing strontium ore. In addition, mechanical smash method and surface active treatment to strontium samples are beneficial to the ratio-leaching increase of strontium. | 16 | OsWR2 recruits HDA704 to regulate the deacetylation of H4K8ac in the promoter of OsABI5 in response to drought stress显示文摘Drought stress is a major environmental factor that limits the growth, development, and yield of rice(Oryza sativa L.). Histone deacetylases(HDACs) are involved in the regulation of drought stress responses. HDA704 is an RPD3/HDA1 class HDAC that mediates the deacetylation of H4K8(lysine 8of histone H4) for drought tolerance in rice. In this study, we show that plants overexpressing HDA704(HDA704-OE) are resistant to drought stress and sensitive to abscisic acid(ABA), whereas HDA704 knockout mutant(hda704) plants displayed decreased drought tolerance and ABA sensitivity.Transcriptome analysis revealed that HDA704 regulates the expression of ABA-related genes in response to drought stress. Moreover, HDA704 was recruited by a drought-resistant transcription factor,WAX SYNTHESIS REGULATORY 2(Os WR2), and co-regulated the expression of the ABA biosynthesis genes NINE-CIS-EPOXYCAROTENOID DIOXYGENASE 3(NCED3), NCED4, and NCED5 under drought stress. HDA704 also repressed the expression of ABA-INSENSITIVE 5(Os ABI5) and DWARF AND SMALL SEED 1(Os DSS1) by regulating H4K8ac levels in the promoter regions in response to polyethylene glycol 6000 treatment. In agreement, the loss of Os ABI5 function increased resistance to dehydration stress in rice.
