1Tree ring based streamflow reconstruction for the Upper Yellow River over the past 1234 years显示文摘We established a Juniperus przewalski tree ring width chronology, based on tree ring cores collected from the A’nyêmaqên Mountains. Statistical analysis showed that the chronology was highly correlated with instrumental streamflow records from previous August to current July from the Tangnaihai Station in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, with a correlation coefficient of 0.656. Streamflow for the upper reaches of the Yellow River was reconstructed for the past 1234 years. Low flow periods for the 11-year averaged streamflow reconstruction were definite as lower than mean plus 1 standard deviation, and high flow periods were higher than mean minus 1 standard deviation. Over the past 1234 years, high flows occurred 18 times, and low flows occurred 12 times. The main low flow periods were identified as AD 1140–1156, AD 1295–1309, AD 1473–1500, and AD 1820–1847, and the main high flow periods were identified as AD 846–873, and AD 1375–1400. Extremely low streamflow over the reconstruction period was seen during the late 15th century, coinciding with a widespread drought phenomenon, which took place in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau over the same period. Reconstructed streamflow shows significant low-frequency variability, which is in line with drought variability of neighboring regions, as inferred from tree rings and other proxies. 2Heavy mineral assemblage characteristics and the Cenozoic paleogeographic evolution in southwestern Qaidam Basin显示文摘Based on the analysis of heavy mineral assemblages in Cenozoic southwestern Qaidam Basin, we found that different areas have variable heavy mineral assemblage characteristics, which suggested that there were two source areas—the Altyn Mountains and the Qimen Tagh-East Kunlun Mountains. In Ganchaigou-Shizigou-Huatugou(Area A), which was mainly source from the Altyn Mountains, its heavy minerals were mainly composed of zircon, Ti-oxides, and wollastonite in the Paleoceneearly Eocene and mainly of unstable minerals, especially amphibole, in the middle Eocene-Oligene. Since the late OligoceneMiocene, the heavy minerals were still mainly unstable minerals, but the content of epidote increased and the content of amphibole decreased. In Qigequan-Hongliuquan(Area B), which was the mixed source from the Altyn Mountains and the Qimen Tagh-East Kunlun Mountains, its heavy minerals were mainly garnet, epidote, and amphibole. The source of LücaotanDongchaishan-Kunbei(Area C) was mainly from the Qimen Tagh-East Kunlun Mountains, heavy minerals in the sediments in Area C were mainly zircon and Ti-oxides in Paleogene and garnet, epidote, and amphibole in Neogene. In Yuejin-Youshashan(Area D), where the stable minerals and unstable minerals were present simultaneously, the heavy mineral assemblages was controlled by multi-direction source. The variation of heavy mineral assemblages in southwestern Qaidam Basin shows that Altyn Mountains was of low-lying topographic relief in Paleocene-early Eocene, and the rapid uplift of Altyn Mountains started from the middle Eocene. In Paleogene, the Altyn Tagh Fault had a slow strike-slip velocity, but the strike-slip velocity increased greatly since the late Oligocene, leading to a strike-slip displacement above 300 km since Neogene. 5Fuel design real-time to control HCCI combustion显示文摘In order to achieve lower emissions and extensive load in the homogeneous charge com- pression ignition (HCCI) engine system, a novel fuel design concept that high-octane number fuel and high-cetane number fuel are mixed real-time to con- trol HCCI combustion is proposed in this study. HCCI combustion fueled with iso-octane/n-heptane mix- tures controlled real-time on a single-cylinder HCCI combustion engine is studied. The test results show that the equivalence ratio of n-heptane in mixtures decides ignition and controls the combustion phase of HCCI combustion. The addition of iso-octane ex- tends knocking limit in equivalence ratio somewhat, but knocking occurrence mainly depends on the total concentration of mixture. Although operating range in equivalence ratio becomes narrow with the increas- ing proportion of iso-octane, the maximum load of HCCI combustion fueled with iso-octane/n-heptane mixtures controlled real-time is increased about 80% more than that of pure n-heptane. 6Instability characteristics of the cracked roof rock beam under shallow mining conditions显示文摘To establish the movement relationship for the roof breaking under shallow mining conditions, the mechanical model of the roof rock beam was built, then the structure instability process of the roof rock beam was analyzed. The changing criterion of the vertical displacement was established and the relationship between the deflection and the rotary motion of roof block was determined. Regarding a mining face in Shangwan Mine, the responsing laws of the deflection and horizontal thrust of the roof rock beam were obtained through FLAC3D numerical analysis. The results show that the structure instability of the cracked roof rock beam depends on the interaction between the vertical load and the horizontal thrust.For the roof rock beam, when the vertical load keeps constant, the horizontal thrust fluctuating rises with increasing deflection. 7Effects of Different Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi on Physiology of Viola prionantha under Salt Stress显示文摘Arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi distribute widely in natural habits and play a variety of ecological functions.In order to test the physiological response to salt stress mediated by different AM fungi,Viola prionantha was selected as the host,the dominant AM fungus in the rhizosphere of V.philippica growing in Songnen saline-alkali grassland,Rhizophagus irregularis,and their mixtures were used as inoculants,and NaCl stress was applied after the roots were colonized.The results showed that V.philippica could be colonized by AM fungi in the field and the colonization rate ranged from 73.33%to 96.67%,and Claroideoglomus etunicatum was identified as the dominant AM fungi species in the rhizosphere of V.philippica by morphology combined with sequencing for AM fungal AML1/AML2 target.Inoculation with both the species resulted in the formation of mycorrhizal symbiosis(the colonization rate was more than 70%)and AM fungi significantly enhanced plants’tolerance to salt stress of varying magnitude.Higher activity of antioxidant enzymes and augmented levels of proline and other osmoregulators were observed in AM plants.The content of MDA in CK was higher than that in the inoculations with the stress of 100,200,and 250 mM.All indices except soluble protein content and MDA content were significantly correlated with AM fungal colonization indices.The analysis for different AM fungal effects showed that the mixtures and R.irregularis worked even better than C.etunicatum.These results will provide theoretical support for the exploration and screening of salt-tolerant AM fungi species and also for the application of AM-ornamental plants in saline-alkali urban greening.Yajie Liu Linlin Fang Wenna Zhao Chunxue Yang 2023Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,1:2
8PD1^+CCR2^+CD8^+T Cells Infiltrate the Central Nervous System during Acute Japanese Encephalitis Virus Infection显示文摘Japanese encephalitis(JE)is a viral encephalitis disease caused by Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV)infection.Uncontrolled inflammatory responses in the central nervous system(CNS)are a hallmark of severe JE.Although the CCR2-CCL2 axis is important for monocytes trafficking during JEV infection,little is known about its role in CNS trafficking of CD8^+T cells.Here,we characterized a mouse model of JEV infection,induced via intravenous injection(i.v.)and delineated the chemokines and infiltrating peripheral immune cells in the brains of infected mice.The CNS expression of chemokines,Ccl2,Ccl3,and Ccl5,and their receptors,Ccr2 or Ccr5.was significantly up-regulated after JEV infection and was associated with the degree of JE pathogenesis.Moreover,JEV infection resulted in the migration of a large number of CD8^+T cells into the CNS.In the brains of JEV-infected mice,infiltrating CD8^+T cells expressed CCR2 and CCR5 and were found to comprise mainly effector T cells(CD44^+CD62L_).JEV infection dramatically enhanced the expression of programmed death 1(PD-1)on infiltrating CD8^+T cells in the brain,as compared to that on peripheral CD8^+T cells in the spleen.This effect was more pronounced on infiltrating CCR2^+CD8^+T cells than on CCR2-CD8^+T cells.In conclusion,we identified a new subset of CD8^+T cells(PD1^+CCR2^+CD8^+T cells)present in the CNS of mice during acute JEV infection.These CD8^+T cells might play a role in JE pathogenesis.Fang Zhang Linlin Qi Tong Li Xiaojing Li Dan Yang Shengbo Cao Jing Ye Bin Wei 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,5:2

14Significant changes in arbuscular mycorrhizal community and soil physicochemical properties during the saline-alkali grassland vegetation succession显示文摘Arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi are widely distributed in various habitats,and the community composition varies in response to the changing environmental conditions.To explore the response of community composition to the succession of saline-alkali land,soil samples were collected from three succession stages of Songnen saline-alkali grassland.Subsequently,the soil characteristics were determined and the AM fungi in soil samples were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing.Then,the response relationship between community composition and soil characteristics was studied by Canonical correlation and Pearson analyses.The soil properties improved with the succession of saline-alkali grassland.There was no significant difference in alpha diversity between the first and second succession stage(Suaeda glauca and Puccinellia tenuiflora,respectively),and the microbial community had a dense association network at the third stage(Leymus chinensis);in addition,each succession stage had significantly enriched amplicon sequence variants(ASVs)and functional pathways.All the soil properties except cellulase activity had significant effects on community composition.Furthermore,the pH,organic carbon,organic matter,and sucrase activity significantly correlated with alpha diversity indices.These results provide a theoretical basis for realizing the significant changes in AM fungal community and soil properties during the saline-alkali grassland vegetation succession.YAJIE LIU LINLIN FANG CHUNXUE YANG 2022BIOCELL2022,46,11:0

16Responses of radial growth, wood density and fiber traits to planting space in poplar plantations at a lowland site显示文摘Poplar is raw material for various panel, paper and fiber products. The 12 sample trees of clone Nanlin-895 from four spacings were destructively harvested after thirteen growing seasons to assess the influence of spacing on radial growth and wood properties. Spacing significantly affected tree-ring width and wood basic density (p < 0.05) but not fiber traits. The highest diameter and wood basic density at breast height (1.3 m) was in 6 m × 6 m and 3 m × 8 m spacings, respectively. However, no significant differences in tree-ring width, wood basic density and fiber traits were observed among the four sampling directions in discs taken at 1.3 m for each spacing. Growth rings from the pith and tree heights had significant effects on wood basic density and fiber anatomical characteristics, highlighting obvious temporal-spatial variations. Pearson correlation analysis showed a significantly negative relationship of tree-ring width to wood basic density, fiber length and fiber width, but a significantly positive relationship to hemicellulose. There was no relationship with cellulose and lignin contents. 17Hydrophobic and Magnetic Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite for Emulsified Oil Removal显示文摘Magnetic reduced graphene oxide(MRGO) nanocomposite was prepared by the chemical coprecipitation method and applied as adsorbent for removing emulsified oil from oily wastewater. SEM, TEM, XRD, FT-IR, VSM and other analytical methods were utilized to characterize the prepared MRGO. The adsorption performance of MRGO was evaluated under different initial adsorbate concentration, MRGO dosage, temperature, and pH value of the solution. The adsorption kinetics and isotherms were investigated. In addition, the MRGO repeatability was also tested. It was found that almost 65%of emulsified oil were removed by MRGO in the first 15 min. The MRGO adsorption capacity and efficiency for removal of adsorbate reached 335.85 mg/g and 92.52% within 60 min, respectively. The adsorption capacity reduced with an increasing MRGO dosage, while increased with the increase of emulsified oil concentration. The adsorption performance of MRGO in the alkaline environment was lower than that in the acidic environment. The adsorption data could well fit to the pseudosecondorder model. The Langmuir model could well describe the isotherm data. 18Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungal Colonization at Different Succession Stages in Songnen Saline-Alkali Grassland显示文摘Arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi can form symbiosis with 90%of the vascular plants and play important roles in ecosystem.To realize the AM fungal colonization at different succession stages in saline-alkali land and screen AM fungi species with great functions,roots and soil samples were collected from the three succession stages of Songnen saline-alkali grassland.The soil properties and AM fungal colonization were measured,and the fungus distributed extensively in three stages was annotated by sequencing for AML1/AML2 target,subsequently,maize was selected as the host to verify its colonization.The results showed that the soil properties improved with the succession of saline-alkali grassland.The plants’communities of the three stages could be colonized by AM fungi,and the colonization rate of Leymus chinensis(the third stage)ranged from 66.67%to 100%,Puccinellia tenuiflora(the second stage)ranged from 50%to 80%,while the Suaeda glauca(the first stage)was only 35%–60%.Glomeraceae sp1 was identified as the dominant AM fungi species which occurred frequently in the succession of saline-alkali land with the isolation frequency,relative abundance,and importance value of 100%,18.1%,and 59.1%,respectively.The colonization rate of Glomeraceae sp1 in maize ranged from 80%to 87%and similar mycorrhizal characteristics were detected in the roots of P.tenuiflora,S.glauca,and L.chinensis,indicating that Glomeraceae sp1 colonized the samples in the field.The correlation matrix indicated that colonization rate,colonization intensity,and vesicle abundance were closely related to soil conditions most,and they were related significantly to all the soil properties except cellulase activity.Besides,redundancy analysis(RDA)showed that soil properties drove the changes of AM fungal colonization and sporulation.These results will provide theoretical support for realizing the relationship between AM fungal colonization and soil conditions,and also for the exploration of AM fungi species with great functions.Yajie Liu Yunhui Zhou Linlin Fang Chunxue Yang 2023Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,1:0
19Inter-operator radio interface based synchronization显示文摘The fourth generation(4G) wireless communication systems have been deployed or are soon to be deployed in many countries. However, with an explosion of wireless mobile devices and services, there are still some challenges that cannot be accommodated even by the 4G, such as the spectrum crisis and inter-cell interference. Telecom operators have turned to commit themselves to share available resources, including hardware and software resources. Therefore, with the mutual infrastructure, the ‘integration' should be highlighted, especially in the fifth generation(5G) wireless systems that are expected to be deployed beyond 2020. The authors in the article proposed a potential cellular architecture, and discussed the inter-operator radio interface based synchronization(RIBS) for the 5G wireless communication systems. A scheme of inter-operator RIBS and typical scenarios, along with the analysis of the corresponding interference were given. 20Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi Alleviates Salt-Alkali Stress Demage on Syneilesis aconitifolia显示文摘Syneilesis aconitifolia is a potential ground cover and decorative material in gardens,which exhibits a strong salt-alkali tolerance,and also has medicinal value.In this study,the arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi community in the soil surrounding S.aconitifolia roots in the Songnen saline-alkali grassland was used as the inoculation medium for a pot cultivation experiment.After normal culture for 90 days,NaCl and NaHCO_(3) solutions were applied to subject plants to salt or alkali stress.Solution concentrations of 50,100,and 200 mmol/L were applied for 10 days,and mycorrhizal colonization,biomass,relative water content(RWC),chlorophyll concentration,malondialdehyde(MDA)concentration,antioxidant system activity,and osmomodulator concentration were determined to identify the effects of AM fungi on root colonization status and salinity tolerance in S.aconitifolia.There were three key results.(1)Compared to the controls,the intensity and rate of colonization decreased under saline-alkali stress,and the adaptability of AM fungi under low concentration alkali stress was higher than that under salt stress.(2)The AM fungi could increase the biomass,RWC,and chlorophyll concentration,and decrease the MDA concentration of S.aconitifolia to some extent.With an increase in the salt or alkali solution concentration,AM fungi not only upregulated the activity of the antioxidant system,but also increased the concentration of osmotic regulatory substances.(3)A multivariate analysis of variance(ANOVA)and radar map analysis showed that the mechanisms of resistance to salt and alkali stress were not the same in S.aconitifolia.In the salt treatment,AM fungi mainly regulated salt stress through osmotic regulatory substances such as soluble sugars,soluble proteins,and proline.In the alkali treatment,AM fungi mainly regulated alkali stress through glutathione(GSH),soluble sugars,and MDA.The results showed that the colonization rate of S.aconitifolia under low concentration alkali stress was higher than that under salt stress,and the inoculation of AM fungi could significantly reduce the MDA concentration of S.aconitifolia plants under salinity and alkali stress,and improve the antioxidant enzyme activity and osmoregulatory substance accumulation,thereby improving the salinity tolerance of S.aconitifolia.Linlin Fang Jiamei Xu Chunxue Yang 2023Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,12:0
