| 2 | Long-term clinical observation of patients with acute and chronic complete spinal cord injury after transplantation of Neuro Regen scaffold显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI)often results in an inhibitory environment at the injury site.In our previous studies,transplantation of a scaffold combined with stem cells was proven to induce neural regeneration in animal models of complete SCI.Based on these preclinical studies,collagen scaffolds loaded with the patients’own bone marrow mononuclear cells or human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells were transplanted into SCI patients.Fifteen patients with acute complete SCI and 51 patients with chronic complete SCI were enrolled and followed up for 2 to 5 years.No serious adverse events related to functional scaffold transplantation were observed.Among the patients with acute SCI,five patients achieved expansion of their sensory positions and six patients recovered sensation in the bowel or bladder.Additionally,four patients regained voluntary walking ability accompanied by reconnection of neural signal transduction.Among patients with chronic SCI,16 patients achieved expansion of their sensation level and 30 patients experienced enhanced reflexive defecation sensation or increased skin sweating below the injury site.Nearly half of the patients with chronic cervical SCI developed enhanced finger activity.These long-term follow-up results suggest that functional scaffold transplantation may represent a feasible treatment for patients with complete SCI. | Fengwu Tang Jiaguang Tang Yannan Zhao Jiaojiao Zhang Zhifeng Xiao Bing Chen Guang Han Na Yin Xianfeng Jiang Changyu Zhao Shixiang Cheng Ziqiang Wang Yumei Chen Qiaoling Chen Keran Song Zhiwei Zhang Junjie Niu Lingjun Wang Qin Shi Liang Chen Huilin Yang Shuxun Hou Sai Zhang Jianwu Dai | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5: | 3 |

| 10 | Identification of Suitable Reference Genes for qRT-PCR Normalization in Tilia miqueliana Maxim显示文摘Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)is a rapid and effective approach toward detecting the expression patterns of target genes.The selection of a stable reference gene under specific test condition is essential for expressing levels of target genes accurately.Tilia miqueliana,considered endangered,is a prominent native ornamental and honey tree in East China.No study has evaluated the optimal endogenous reference gene for qRT-PCR analysis in T.miqueliana systematically.In this study,fifteen commonly used reference genes were selected as candidate genes,and the stabilities of their expressions were assessed using four algorithms(GeNorm,NormFiner,BestKeeper,and DeltaCt)in nine experimental datasets.The final integrated evaluation was performed using a comprehensive analysis algorithm(RefFinder).Finally,a target MYB transcription factor gene(TmMYB)was used to verify the accuracy of the candidate reference genes.The results showed that PP2αwas the most stable in tissue set,while RPS13 and SAMCD were optimal for heat and cold stress,respectively.Under waterlogging stress,PP2αand TUB were the most stable genes in the leaves and roots,respectively.EF1αand PP2αwere optimal for drying stress in leaf and root tissues.TUB and ACT7 were the most stable genes in the leaf and root tissues under salt stress.This is the first systematic evaluation of candidate reference genes in T.miqueliana,and it will benefit future studies on expression and functional analysis of target genes in T.miqueliana. | Huanli Wang Lingjun Yan Xi Huang Zhongwei Wang Yuanhao Yue Shijie Tang | 2022 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,10: | 0 |
| 11 | Integrated data-model-knowledge representation for natural resource entities显示文摘The unified management and planning of national or provincial natural resources distributed both aboveground and underground have become increasingly important.Accurate depictions of natural resource elements and their interactions are key to achieving integrated and systematic management of natural resources.However,current spatiotemporal data models are based only on data descriptions,attribute records,and other model knowledge of a more general basis,without intuitively describing relationships between these elements and natural resources.This paper,therefore,proposes an integrated data-model-knowledge representation model to explicitly describe the time,space,and interaction of natural resource entities through an integrated knowledge graph.First,this study constructs a conceptual model using the aspects of semantics,scale,and data-model-knowledge,thereby explicitly describing the relationships of natural resources.Second,a logical model of natural resource representation is proposed,that is integrated with time,space,attributes,and relationships.Finally,taking the management of water resources as an example,this paper realizes the meticulous presentation of the levels of detail and rich semantic relations of natural resource entities.The findings of this study lay the foundation for a more efficient,precise,and lucid perception of the distribution laws and complicated interactional relationships of natural resources,both aboveground and underground. | Yulin Ding Zhaowen Xu Qing Zhu Hankan Li Yan Luo Ying Bao Lingjun Tang Sen Zeng | 2022 | International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1: | 0 |
