| 1 | Association of three single nucleotide polymorphisms of ESR1 with breast cancer susceptibility:a meta-analysis显示文摘Expression of estrogen receptors is correlated with breast cancer risk,but inconsistent results have been reported.To clarify potential estrogen receptor(ESR)-related breast cancer risk,we analyzed genetic variants of ESR1 in association with breast cancer susceptibility.We performed a meta-analysis to investigate the association between rs2234693,rs1801132,and rs2046210(single nucleotide polymorphisms of ESR1),and breast cancer risk.Our analysis included 44 case-control studies.For rs2234693,the CC genotype had a higher risk of breast cancer compared to the TT or CT genotype.For rs2046210,the AA,GA,or GA + GG genotype had a much higher risk compared to the GG genotype.No significant association was found for the rs 1801132 polymorphism with breast cancer risk.This meta-analysis demonstrates association between the rs2234693 and rs2046210 polymorphisms of ESR1 and breast cancer risk.The correlation strength between rs2234693 and breast cancer susceptibility differs in subgroup assessment by ethnicity. | Xu Hu Linfei Jiang Chenhui Tang Yuehong Ju Li Jiu Yongyue Wei Li Guo Yang Zhao | 2017 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2017,31,3: | 4 |

| 4 | Effects of childhood trauma on aggressive behaviors andhippocampal function:the modulation of COMT haplotypes显示文摘Background:Aggression is a commonly hostile behavior linked to the hippocampal activity.Childhood trauma(CT)exposure has been associated with altered sensitization of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal(HPA)axis and hippocampal volumewhich could increase violent aggressive behaviors.Additionally,Catechol-O-methyltransferase(COMT),the major dopamine metabolism enzyme,is impli-cated in stress responsivity,including aggression.Hence,CT exposure may affect aggression through the effect on the hippocampal function,which might also be modulated by the COMT variations.Objectives:This study examined whether both CT and haplotypes of COMT moderate hippocampal function and thus affect human aggressive behavior.Methods:We obtained bilateral hippocampal functional connectivity maps using resting state functional magnetic resonance imag-ing(MRI)data.COMT haplotype estimation was performed using Haploview 4.2 and PHASE 2.1.Then we constructed a moderated mediation model to study the effect of the CTQ×COMT on aggressive behavior.Results:Three major haplotypes were generated from thirteen single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)within the COMT gene and formed three haplotypes corresponding to high,medium,and low enzymatic activity of COMT.The results showed interactive re-lationships between the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire(CTQ)and COMT with respect to the functional connectivity(FC)of the bilateral hippocampus(HIP)-orbital frontal cortex(OFC).Specifically,CT experience predicted lower negative HIP-OFC coupling in the APS and HPS haplotypes corresponding to the medium and high enzymatic activity of COMT,but greater FC in the LPS haplotypes corresponding to the low enzymatic activity.We also observed a conditional mediation effect of the right HIP-OFC coupling in the link between COMT and aggressive behavior that was moderated by CT experience.Conclusions:These results suggest that CT and COMT have a combined effect on aggressive behavior through hippocampal function.This mediation analysis sheds light on the influence of childhood experience on aggressive behavior in different genetic backgrounds. | Chao Wang Linfei Zhu Wenyu Zheng Hanyuzhu Peng Jiaojian Wang Yue Cui Bing Liu Tianzi Jiang | 2023 | Psychoradiology2023,3,1: | 0 |
| 5 | Knockdown of Nav1_5 inhibits cell proliferation,migration and invasion via Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in oral squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)is a common type of malignant oral cancer that has a high recurrence rate.Voltage-gated sodium channel Nav1.5 was reported to be highly up-regulated in various types of cancers.However,the regulatory mechanism of Nav1.5 in cancers including OSCC still remains elusive.In this study,Nav1.5 was found to be highly expressed in OSCC tissues and cells.Through the analysis of clinical characteristics of patients,we found that the expression level of Nav1.5 was closely related to neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio,platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio,tumor-node-metastasis stage,and lymph node metastasis.Moreover,we found that Nav1.5 mainly located on the cell membrane as well as cytoplasm and knockdown of Nav1.5 promoted cell apoptosis and decreased proliferation in OSCC.Transwell assay results showed that knockdown of Nav1.5 effectively suppressed the migration and invasion in OSCC.In addition,knockdown of Nav1.5 was found to inhibit the protein and mRNA expression levels ofβ-catenin,cyclin D1,and C-Myc in the Wnt/βcatenin signaling pathway.In summary,these results indicated that Nav1.5 may be involved in the progression of OSCC through the Wnt/βcatenin signaling pathway. | Xiaoli Xu Yongzheng Dai Linfei Feng Hongli Zhang Yukun Hu Le Xu Xinwei Zhu Yong Jiang | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,5: | 0 |
| 6 | N-doped graphene anchored ultrasmall Ir nanoparticles as bifunctional electrocatalyst for overall water splitting显示文摘Seeking for extremely active and durable bifunctional electrocatalysts towards the overall water splitting possesses a strategic significance on the development of sustainable and clean energy for the replacement of fossil fuels.Ir-based nanomaterials are deemed as one of the most highefficiency oxygen evolution reaction electrocatalysts while the hydrogen evolution reaction performance is unfavorable.In this work,we report a one-pot hydrothermal synthesis of N-doped graphene anchored Ir nanoparticles(Ir/N-rGO) with ultrasmall particle size(~2.0 nm).Apart from the predictably superior OER performance,the resultant Ir/N-rGO also displays excellent hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) performance,requiring merely 76 and 260 mV overpotentials to achieve the current density of 10 mA cm^(-2) towards HER and OER,respectively.When applied as the bifunctional electrodes for overall water splitting,Ir/N-rGO needs a lower overpotential(1.74 V) to achieve a current density of50 mA cm^(-2) in alkaline solution,exceeding that of Pt/C and RuO_(2) couple(1.85 V).Thus,the as-fabricated Ir/N-rGO has a commendable prospect in the practical application of alkaline water electrocatalysis. | Wenqing Yao Xian Jiang Yulian Li Cuiting Zhao Linfei Ding Dongmei Sun Yawen Tang | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022,7,5: | 0 |
