1Chemical compound cinobufotalin potently induces FOXO1-stimulated cisplatin sensitivity by antagonizing its binding partner MYH9显示文摘In this study,we present novel molecular mechanisms by which FOXO1 functions as a tumor suppressor to prevent the pathogenesis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).First,we observed that FOXO1 not only controlled tumor stemness and metastasis,but also sensitized NPC cells to cisplatin(DDP)in vitro and in vivo.Mechanistic studies demonstrated that FOXO1-induced miR-200b expression through the GSK3β/β-catenin/TCF4 network-mediated stimulation of ZEB1,which reduced tumor stemness and the epithelial–mesenchymal transition(EMT)signal.Furthermore,we observed FOXO1 interaction with MYH9 and suppression of MYH9 expression by modulating the PI3K/AKT/c-Myc/P53/miR-133a-3p pathway.Decreased MYH9 expression not only reduced its interactions with GSK3β,but also attenuated TRAF6 expression,which then decreased the ubiquitin-mediated degradation of GSK3βprotein.Increased GSK3βexpression stimulated theβ-catenin/TCF4/ZEB1/miR-200b network,which increased the downstream tumor stemness and EMT signals.Subsequently,we observed that chemically synthesized cinobufotalin(CB)strongly increased FOXO1-induced DDP chemosensitivity by reducing MYH9 expression,and the reduction in MYH9 modulated GSK3β/β-catenin and its downstream tumor stemness and EMT signal in NPC.In clinical samples,the combination of low FOXO1 expression and high MYH9 expression indicated the worst overall survival rates.Our studies demonstrated that CB potently induced FOXO1-mediated DDP sensitivity by antagonizing its binding partner MYH9 to modulate tumor stemness in NPC.YongHao Li Xiong Liu Xian Lin Menyang Zhao Yanyi Xiao Chen Liu Zixi Liang Zelong Lin Renhui Yi Zibo Tang Jiahao Liu Xin Li Qingping Jiang Libo Li Yinyin Xie Zhen Liu Weiyi Fang 2019Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019,4,1:6

3Boosting single-band red upconversion luminescence in colloidal NaErF_4 nanocrystals:Effects of doping and inert shell显示文摘Single-band red upconversion luminescence(UCL) is vital to in vivo bioimaging as well as 'see and treat' biomedicines. Herein, starting with the previously reported β-NaErF4:Tm UCNPs, we examined the effects of both Yb^(3+) doping and inert shell coating on the red-to-green(R/G) ratio for Er3+ based UCL. The doping of Yb^(3+) into the β-NaErF4:Tm3+ core not only enhances the whole UCL intensity, but also raises the R/G ratio by 1.25 times. In addition, the coating of an inert NaYF4 shell, which is usually adopted for the enhancement of UCL intensity, further boosts the R/G value up to as high as 77.92. 4Integrated Wide Area Protection and Control for Power Grid Security显示文摘The traditional“three defense lines”for power systems are based on local information and static protection&control strategy,which are not suitable to modern large-scale power systems.In order to improve the security of UHV hybrid power grids,the Integrated Wide Area Protection&Control(IWAPC)is proposed in this paper by applying the new technologies of synchronized high-speed communication,which integrates“three defense lines”and promotes existing wide area protection only for security control.The IWAPC is the hierarchical protection and control system which provides the protection and control for wide area power networks to improve their reliability and security.It is divided into three levels,the local bay level,the substation integrated protection level and the wide area protection level.The wide area real-time protection and control information platform is the most important part of the IWAPC,which is based on a synchronized wide area communication network.The key technologies and new development trends include network topology analysis,wide area backup protection,wide area intelligent reclosing,wide area load shedding,wide area auto-switching,overload cutoff and transfer,transmission section protection,intelligent system splitting and dynamic stability control.It cannot only integrate three lines of defense for power system protection and control,but also improve security of the power grid.Qingping Wang Zhiqian Bo Yingke Zhao Xiaowei Ma Ming Zhang Hao Zheng Lin Wang 2019CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,2:2

12Synthesis of Poly(acrylic acid)-Grafted Carboxymethyl Cellulose for Efficient Removal of Copper Ions显示文摘Biocompatible and high content grafted carboxymethyl cellulose-g-poly(acrylic acid)powder was successfully synthesized in an aqueous system,and used as adsorbents for the removal of Cu(II)in aqueous solution.The copolymer was characterized by FT-IR and SEM techniques.Graft copolymerization introduced a large number of carboxyl groups in the polymer and caused the micro-surface of the material to be porous.The fundamental adsorption behaviors of the material were studied.The adsorption kinetics was well fitted with pseudo-second order equation,while the adsorption isotherm preferred to be described the Langmuir equation.The maximum adsorption capacity obtained from the Langmuir model was 154.32 mg/g,indicating that the adsorption capacity of carboxymethyl cellulose was improved remarkably after grafting poly(acrylic acid).Moreover,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)has been used to investigate the adsorption mechanisms at molecular levels,which revealed that carboxyl groups are facile to form bidentate carboxylates with metal ions.Thus,this environment friendly copolymer will be a promising candidate for application in removal of heavy metal ions.Ying Lin Yihua Cao Qingping Song Jiangang Gao Puyou Jia Hamed Alsulami Marwan Amin Kutbi 2019Journal of Renewable Materials2019,7,12:1

18A Novel Highly Selective“Turn-On”Fluorescence Sensor for Silver Ions Based on Schiff Base显示文摘A novel optical chemical sensor L was designed and synthesized for the determination of silver ions.The sensor L was derived from 1-naphthaldehyde and 3,4,5-tris(hexadecyloxy)benzohydrazide.The sensor L shows high sensitivity and selectivity for Ag+detection in comparison to other metal cations(Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),Al^(3+),Cr^(3+),Fe^(3+),Co^(2+),Ni^(2+),Cu^(2+),Zn^(2+),Cd^(2+),Hg^(2+),Pb^(2+))and has no significant response to other common metal cations.Upon addition of Ag+,the fluorescent emission of the sensor L was enhanced dramatically but other metal cations had no same response.The detection limit for Ag+was 1.2×10^(−7) mol/L.Therefore,the sensor L is useful for Ag+detection with some advantages including sensitivity,selectivity,simplicity and low-cost.Qi Lin Qingping Yang Bin Sun Taibao Wei Youming Zhang 2014Chinese Journal of Chemistry2014,32,12:1
