| 2 | Pharmacological Activation of RXR-a Promotes Hematoma Absorption via a PPAR-y-dependent Pathway After Intracerebral Hemorrhage显示文摘Endogenously eliminating the hematoma is a favorable strategy in addressing intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH).This study sought to determine the role of retinoid X receptor-ot(RXR-a)in the context of hematoma absorption after ICH.Our results showed that pharmacologically activating RXR-a with bexarotene significantly accelerated hematoma clearance and alleviated neurological dysfunction after ICH.RXR-ot was expressed in microglia/macro-phages,neurons,and astrocytes.Mechanistically,bexarotene promoted the nuclear translocation of RXR-a and PPAR-y,as well as reducing neuroinflammation by modulating microglia/macrophage reprograming from the Ml into the M2 phenotype.Furthermore,all the beneficial effects of RXR-a in ICH were reversed by the PPAR-y inhibitor GW9662.In conclusion,the pharmacological activation of RXR-a confers robust neuroprotection against ICH by accelerating hematoma clearance and repolarizing microglia/macrophages towards the M2 phenotype through PPAR-y-related mechanisms.Our data support the notion that RXR-ot might be a promising therapeutic target for ICH. | Chaoran Xu Huaijun Chen Shengjun Zhou Chenjun Sun Xiaolong Xia Yucong Peng Jianfeng Zhuang Xiongjie Fu Hanhai Zeng Hang Zhou Yang Cao Qian Yu Yin Li Libin Hu Guoyang Zhou Feng Yan Gao Chen Jianru Li | 2021 | Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,10: | 4 |

| 4 | Scanning for signatures of geographically restricted selection based on population genomics analysis显示文摘Natural selection, as the driving force of human evolution, has direct impact on population differentiation. However, it is still unclear to what extent the genetic differentiation has been caused by natural selection. To explore this question, we performed a genome-wide scan with single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) data from the International HapMap Project. Single locus FST analysis was applied to assess the frequency difference among populations in autosomes. Based on the empirical distribution of FST, we identified 12669 SNPs correlating to population differentiation and 1853 candidate genes subjected to geographic restricted natural selection. Further interpretation of gene ontogeny revealed 121 categories of biological process with the enrichments of candidate genes. Our results suggest that natural selection may play an important role in human population differentiation. | 8 | Genetic Flux Between H1 and H2 Haplotypes of the 17q21.31 Inversion in European Population显示文摘The chromosome 17q21.31 inversion is a 900-kb common structural polymorphism found primarily in European population.Although the genetic flux within inversion region was assumed to be considerable suppressed, it is still unclear about the details of genetic exchange between the H1(non-inverted sequence)and H2(inverted sequence) haplotypes of this inversion.Here we describe a refined map of genetic exchanges between pairs of gene arrangements within the 17q21.31 region.Using HapMap phase II data of 1,546 single nucleotide polymorphisms, we successfully deduced 96 H1 and 24 H2 haplotypes in European samples by neighbor-joining tree reconstruction. Furthermore, we identified 15 and 26 candidate tracts with reciprocal and non-reciprocal genetic exchanges, respectively.In all 15 regions harboring reciprocal exchange, haplotypes reconstructed by clone sequencing did not support these exchange events, suggesting that such signals of exchange between two sister chromosomes in certain heterozygous individual were caused by phasing error regions.On the other hand, the finished clone sequencing across 4 of 26 tracts with non-reciprocal genetic flux confirmed that this kind of genetic exchange was caused by gene conversion.In summary, as crossover between pairs of gene arrangements had been considerably suppressed, gene conversion might be the most important mechanism for genetic exchange at 17q21.31. | Libin Deng Xiaoli Tang Xiangwen Hao Wei Chen Jiari Lin Yangyu Yu Dake Zhang Changqing Zeng | 2011 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2011,9,3: | 0 |

| 11 | Electrochemically exfoliated Ni-doped MoS_(2) nanosheets for highly efficient hydrogen evolution and Zn-H_(2)O battery显示文摘Thanks to tunable physical and chemical properties,two-dimensional(2D)materials have received intensive interest,endowing their excellent electrocatalytic performances for applications in energy conversion.However,their catalytic activities are largely determined by poor adsorption energy and limited active edge sites.Herein,a one-step electrochemical exfoliation strategy was developed to fabricate 2D Ni-doped MoS_(2)nanosheets(Ni-EX-MoS_(2))with a lateral size of500 nm and thickness of3.5 nm.Profiting from high electrical conductivity and abundant exposing active sites,Ni-EX-MoS_(2)catalyst displayed an admirable performance for electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)with a low overpotential of 145 m V at 10 m A/cm^(2)as well as a small Tafel slope of 89 m V/dec in alkaline media,which are superior to those of the most reported MoS_(2)-based electrocatalysts.The formed Ni species with tuning electronic structure played a crucial role as primary active center of Ni-EX-MoS_(2),as well as the forming stable 1T/2H phase MoS_(2)interface demonstrated a synergistic effect on electrocatalytic HER performance.Further,Ni-EX-MoS_(2)was employed as a cathode electrode for alkaline Zn-H_(2)O battery,which displayed a high power density of 3.3 m W/cm^(2)with excellent stability.This work will provide a simple and effective guideline for design of electrochemically exfoliated transition metal-doped MoS_(2)nanosheets to inspire their practical applications in energy catalytic and storage. | Hao Wei Jincheng Si Libin Zeng Siliu Lyu Zhiguo Zhang Yange Suo Yang Hou | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,1: | 0 |

| 13 | Osteopontin Promotes Macrophage M1 Polarization by Activation of the JAK1/STAT1/HMGB1 Signaling Pathway in Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease显示文摘Background and Aims:Osteopontin(OPN)is reported to be associated with the pathogenesis of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).However,the function of OPN in NAFLD is still inconclusive.Therefore,our aim in this study was to evaluate the role of OPN in NAFLD and clarify the involved mechanisms.Methods:We analyzed the expression change of OPN in NAFLD by bioinformatic analysis,qRT-PCR,western blotting and immunofluorescence staining.To clarify the role of OPN in NAFLD,the effect of OPN from HepG2 cells on macrophage polarization and the involved mechanisms were examined by FACS and western blotting.Results:OPN was significantly upregulated in NAFLD patients compared with normal volunteers by microarray data,and the high expression of OPN was related with disease stage and progression.OPN level was also significantly increased in liver tissue samples of NAFLD from human and mouse,and in HepG2 cells treated with oleic acid(OA).Furthermore,the supernatants of OPN-treated HepG2 cells promoted the macrophage M1 polarization.Mechanistically,OPN activated the janus kinase 1(JAK1)/signal transducers and activators of transcription 1(STAT1)signaling pathway in HepG2 cells,and consequently HepG2 cells secreted more high-mobility group box 1(HMGB1),thereby promoting macrophage M1 polarization.Conclusions:OPN promoted macrophage M1 polarization by increasing JAK1/STAT1-induced HMGB1 secretion in hepatocytes. | Zhihao Xu Feiyang Xi Xinxin Deng Yuqi Ni Changqin Pu Dan Wang Weiming Lou Xufang Zeng Ning Su Chen Chen Ziqiang Zeng Libin Deng Meixiu Jiang | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,2: | 0 |
