| 1 | Targeting NF-κB pathway for the therapy of diseases:mechanism and clinical study显示文摘NF-κB pathway consists of canonical and non-canonical pathways.The canonical NF-κB is activated by various stimuli,transducing a quick but transient transcriptional activity,to regulate the expression of various proinflammatory genes and also serve as the critical mediator for inflammatory response.Meanwhile,the activation of the non-canonical NF-κB pathway occurs through a handful of TNF receptor superfamily members.Since the activation of this pathway involves protein synthesis,the kinetics of non-canonical NF-κB activation is slow but persistent,in concordance with its biological functions in the development of immune cell and lymphoid organ,immune homeostasis and immune response.The activation of the canonical and non-canonical NF-κB pathway is tightly controlled,highlighting the vital roles of ubiquitination in these pathways.Emerging studies indicate that dysregulated NF-κB activity causes inflammation-related diseases as well as cancers,and NF-κB has been long proposed as the potential target for therapy of diseases.This review attempts to summarize our current knowledge and updates on the mechanisms of NF-κB pathway regulation and the potential therapeutic application of inhibition of NF-κB signaling in cancer and inflammatory diseases. | Hui Yu Liangbin Lin Zhiqiang Zhang Huiyuan Zhang Hongbo Hu | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 35 |

| 4 | Effects of disinhibition on spatiotemporal pattern of neuronal first recruitment in neuronal networks显示文摘The propagation of neuronal activities is a key feature to understanding information processing in networks. The analysis based on first-spikes of bursts in turn plays an important role in the research of neuronal activity propagation. Our focus here is to investigate how spatiotemporal patterns of neuronal first-spikes are affected by disinhibition. Multi-electrode arrays were used to record stimulation-evoked bursts of multiple neurons in randomly cultured neuronal networks. Both the precise timing of and the rank relationships between first-spikes were analyzed. Compared with evoked bursts in the network's native state, the precise first-spike latencies in its dis-inhibited state are more consistent and the propagation of its bursting activities is much faster. | 5 | Daifan San intervenes in forkhead box P3 and the interleukin(IL)-23/IL-17A signaling pathway to help prevent and treat primary biliary cirrhosis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the mechanism by which Daifan San(DFS)prevents and treats primary biliary cirrhosis(PBC)via the forkhead box P3(FoxP3)and interleukin(IL)-23/IL-17A signaling pathways.METHODS:Ninety C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into the control,model,DFS low-dose,DFS middle-dose,DFS high-dose and ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA)groups(n=15 per group).A mouse model of PBC was induced using polyinosinic polycytidylic acids(poly I:C).Lymphocyte subset expression in the peripheral blood was analyzed via flow cytometry.The inflammatory cytokines and antimitochondrial autoantibody(AMA)levels were detected via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays.The expressions and location of typeⅠcollagen,typeⅢcollagen,cytokeratin 19 and FoxP3 in the liver tissue were evaluated via immunohistochemistry.FoxP3,IL-23 and IL-17 expressions in the peripheral blood and liver tissue were evaluated via real-time polymerase chain reaction and western blotting.RESULTS:IL-17,IL-23,IL-8,IL-33,TNF-α,and AMA expressions were significantly increased in the model group and decreased in the DFS and UDCA groups.Conversely,Treg cell and FoxP3 expressions were significantly decreased in the model group and increased in the DFS and UDCA groups.The IL-23/IL-17A signaling pathway was closely correlated with chronic inflammation of the bile duct in PBC and functional deletion of Treg cells,leading to reduced FoxP3 levels and mediating the loss of tolerance in PBC.CONCLUSION:DFS may delay the occurrence and relieve the symptoms of PBC by downregulating IL-23/IL-17A signaling pathway expression and upregulating FoxP3 expression. | Zhan Kai Xu Yan Han Mengling Cheng Liangbin | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4: | 3 |
| 6 | An Approach to Enforcing Clark-Wilson Model in Role-based Access Control Model显示文摘Using one security model to enforce another is a prospective solution to multi-policy support. In this paper, an approach to the enforcing Clark-Wilson data integrity model in the Role-based access control (RBAC) model is proposed. An enforcement construction with great feasibility is presented. In this construction, a direct way to enforce the Clark-Wilson model is provided, the corresponding relations among users, transformation procedures, and constrained data items are strengthened; the concepts of task and subtask are introduced to enhance the support to least-privilege. The proposed approach widens the applicability of RBAC. | 7 | 中国西南地区2007年-2011年男性乳腺癌发生率(英文)显示文摘Objective: Male breast cancer is a rare disease with an incidence of about 1% of breast cancers in USA, but relatively lack of the information of male breast cancer in China, especially in Southwest of China, led us to study its incidence trends. Methods: Chongqing is one of the biggest and the most important areas that is located in Southwest of China. There are around 31.4 million people who live in approximate 82 402.95 km2area of Chongqing. Data about breast cancer patients registered in the Center for Disease Prevention and Control of Chongqing(China) were statistically collected from 187 hospitals, about 58 hospitals in city and 129 hospitals in country, and over 6.2 million people were studied every year. It was tried to represent all the people in villages and cities in Chongqing, China. Results: The incidence of male breast cancer in Southwest of China ranged from 0.34/100 000 to 1.45/100 000 between 2007 and 2011, while the incidence of female breast cancer ranged from 15.40/100000 to 21.66/100000 at the same time. The rate of male breast cancer to female breast cancer ranged from 0.02:1 to 0.07:1, male breast cancer accounted for 1.96% to 6.5%(with the mean value of 2.9%) of breast cancers in Southwest of China from 2007 to 2010. Conclusion: In Southwest of China male breast cancer accounts for about 2.9% of breast cancers which is higher than that in United States. | 8 | Ecological stoichiometry and biomass response of Agropyron michnoi Roshev.under simulated N deposition in a sandy grassland,China显示文摘Sandy grassland in northern China is a fragile ecosystem with poor soil fertility.Exploring how plant species regulate growth and nutrient absorption under the background of nitrogen(N)deposition is crucial for the management of the sandy grassland ecosystem.We carried out a field experiment with six N levels in the Hulunbuir Sandy Land of China from 2014 to 2016 and explored the Agropyron michnoi Roshev.responses of both aboveground and belowground biomasses and carbon(C),N and phosphorus(P)concentrations in the plant tissues and soil.With increasing N addition,both aboveground and belowground biomasses and C,N and P concentrations in the plant tissues increased and exhibited a single-peak curve.C:N and C:P ratios of the plant tissues first decreased but then increased,while the trend for N:P ratio was opposite.The peak values of aboveground biomass,belowground biomass and C concentration in the plant tissues occurred at the level of 20 g N/(m2•a),while those of N and P concentrations in the plant tissues occurred at the level of 15 g N/(m2•a).The maximum growth percentages of aboveground and belowground biomasses were 324.2%and 75.9%,respectively,and the root to shoot ratio(RSR)decreased with the addition of N.N and P concentrations in the plant tissues were ranked in the order of leaves>roots>stems,while C concentration was ranked as roots>leaves>stems.The increase in N concentration in the plant tissues was the largest(from 34%to 162%),followed by the increase in P(from 10%to 33%)and C(from 8%to 24%)concentrations.The aboveground biomass was positively and linearly correlated with leaf C,N and P,and soil C and N concentrations,while the belowground biomass was positively and linearly correlated with leaf N and soil C concentrations.These results showed that the accumulation of N and P in the leaves caused the increase in the aboveground biomass,while the accumulation of leaf N resulted in the increase in the belowground biomass.N deposition can alter the allocation of C,N and P stoichiometry in the plant tissues and has a high potential for increasing plant biomass,which is conducive to the restoration of sandy grassland. | JIN Xiaoming YANG Xiaogang ZHOU Zhen ZHANG Yingqi YU Liangbin ZHANG Jinghua LIANG Runfang | 2020 | Journal of Arid Land2020,12,5: | 2 |
