1Air pollutants contribution and control strategies of energy-use related sources in Beijing显示文摘Based on the statistical analysis of emission inventory and ISCST3 model simulation, the emission and ambient concentration contributions of energy-use related sources to the major pollutants of SO2, NOx and PM10 in urban areas of Beijing were analyzed. The SO2 emission contributions of coal burning in power plants, industrial and heating sectors were 49%, 26% and 24% respectively. The vehicle exhaust contributed 74% of the NOx concentration. As to PM10, the industrial sector was the largest emission (28%) and concentration (21%) contributor despite of the fugitive sources. The source emission contributions of VOC and NH3, which greatly influence the generation of secondary pollutants, were discussed as well. This paper also analyzed the control strategies of energy consumption and vehicle sources, based on which the control scenario in 2008 was established and the change of emission and concentration contribution were estimated. The results show that the cleaner energy use, industrial structure improvement, transportation mode modification and single vehicle emission control will greatly improve air quality. 3Spatial patterns of ecosystem vulnerability changes during 2001–2011 in the three-river source region of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China显示文摘The three-river source region(TRSR, including Yangtze, Yellow and Lancang rivers), located in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China, is a typical alpine zone with apparent ecosystem vulnerability and sensitivity. In this paper, we introduced many interdisciplinary factors, such as landscape pattern indices(Shannon diversity index and Shannon evenness index) and extreme climate factors(number of extreme high temperature days, number of extreme low temperature days, and number of extreme precipitation days), to establish a new model for evaluating the spatial patterns of ecosystem vulnerability changes in the TRSR. The change intensity(CI) of ecosystem vulnerability was also analyzed. The results showed that the established evaluation model was effective and the ecosystem vulnerability in the whole study area was intensive. During the study period of 2001–2011, there was a slight degradation in the eco-environmental quality. The Yellow River source region had the best eco-environmental quality, while the Yangtze River source region had the worst one. In addition, the zones dominated by deserts were the most severely deteriorated areas and the eco-environmental quality of the zones occupied by evergreen coniferous forests showed a better change. Furthermore, the larger the change rates of the climate factors(accumulative temperature of ≥10°C and annual average precipitation) are, the more intensive the CI of ecosystem vulnerability is. 4Utilizing Landsat TM Imagery to Map Greenhouses in Qingzhou, Shandong Province, China显示文摘To build a rapid and accurate method for greenhouse vegetable land information extraction using an index model derived from TM digital data of Qingzhou City, Shandong Province, based on a systematic analysis of the spectral characteristics of different land use types in the study area, a subset of the image was first made to eliminate the mountainous region not associated with vegetable distribution, and then water body pixels were masked. With this the V1 index model for greenhouse vegetable land extraction was developed. The index model indicated greenhouse vegetable land for Qingzhou in April 2002 was concentrated in the southeast and around rural residential areas. Field data used for an accuracy evaluation showed that greenhouse hectares determined with remote sensing were 95.9% accurate, and accuracy for the spatial distribution of greenhouse vegetable land cross checked with a random sample was 96.3%. 6Identification of Co-Segregating RAPD Marker Linked to Powdery Mildew Resistance Gene Pm18 in Wheat显示文摘The Pm18 gene of wheat confers resistance to the powdery mildew which is one of the mostserious diseases in many regions of the world. In this study, bulked segregant analysis(BSA) was used to develop randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers linked toPm18 gene. Three hundred and twenty decamer primers were screened and one of them wasidentified as RAPD marker (S411600) linked to Pm18. Using the F2 mapping population fromthe cross Pm18Chancellor, the marker S411600 was shown to co-segregate with the genePm18. 8Laparoscopic-assisted radical gastrectomy for distal gastric cancer显示文摘A 48-year-old female patient was diagnosed with a superficial depressed type early gastric cancer (type IIc) of 1.0 cm at the gastric angle as indicated by gastroscopy. Laparoscopic-assisted greater omentumpreserving D2 radical gastrectomy was performed in combination with Billroth I reconstruction under general anesthesia for the distal gastric cancer on April 5, 2013. The postoperative recovery was satisfying without complications. 10Mimicking peroxidase active site microenvironment by functionalized graphene quantum dots显示文摘The development of high-efficiency peroxidase mimetics is highly desirable in view of high cost and low stability of natural enzymes.From the perspective of mimicking active site microenvironment at low cost,we herein report a novel histidine-functionalized graphene quantum dot(His-GQD)/hemin complex,which exhibits the highest catalytic rate for the peroxidase-based chromogenic reaction among the hemin-containing mimetics reported so far.Also,our peroxidase mimetic shows excellent tolerance to strongly acidic conditions and can function in a wide temperature range.Lineweaver-Burk plots and comprehensive electron paramagnetic resonance analysis reveal a ping-pong type catalytic mechanism for this mimetic.In addition,His-GQD/hemin demonstrates high efficiency and accuracy in detecting H2O2 and blood glucose.Our work provides an effective design of artificial enzymes for practical applications.Qi Xin Xinrui Jia Asmat Nawaz Wenjing Xie Litao Li Jian Ru Gong 2020Nano Research2020,13,5:6
11Adjustable character of microwave attenuation in BaTiO_3 electrorheological fluids显示文摘The behavior of microwave attenuation in BaTiO3 electrorheological fluids is studied when considering microwave propagation in the directions perpendicular and parallel to the particle chains, respectively. In the former case, the microwave attenuation increases with field strength when the particle concentration is low, and the increase of the particle concentration can also increase the microwave attenuation. However, when the particle concentration exceeds a critical value, the attenuation will first increase then decrease with field strength. At the same time, the higher the field strength, the greater the change of microwave attenuation. Moreover, there is a saturation field strength. When the field strength is lower than the saturated one, the change of microwave attenuation is fast. On the other hand, in the case of microwave propagation parallel to the particle chains, the microwave attenuation increases with the field strength monotonously. In addition, the variation of microwave attenuation with the field strength shows relaxation effect. 12Study on cosmogenic activation in germanium detectors for future tonne-scale CDEX experiment显示文摘A study on cosmogenic activation in germanium was carried out to evaluate the cosmogenic background level of natural and ^(70)Ge depleted germanium detectors. The production rates of long-lived radionuclides were calculated with Geant4 and CRY.Results were validated by comparing the simulated and experimental spectra of CDEX-1B detector. Based on the validated codes, the cosmogenic background level was predicted for further tonne-scale CDEX experiment. The suppression of cosmogenic background level could be achieved by underground germanium crystal growth and high-purity germanium detector fabrication to reach the sensitivity requirement for direct detection of dark matter. 13Defect Engineering in 2D Materials: Precise Manipulation and Improved Functionalities显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)materials have attracted increasing interests in the last decade.The ultrathin feature of 2D materials makes them promising building blocks for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices.With reducing dimensionality from 3D to 2D,the inevitable defects will play more important roles in determining the properties of materials.In order to maximize the functionality of 2D materials,deep understanding and precise manipulation of the defects are indispensable.In the recent years,increasing research efforts have been made on the observation,understanding,manipulation,and control of defects in 2D materials.Here,we summarize the recent research progress of defect engineering on 2D materials.The defect engineering triggered by electron beam(e-beam),plasma,chemical treatment,and so forth is comprehensively reviewed.Firstly,e-beam irradiation-induced defect evolution,structural transformation,and novel structure fabrication are introduced.With the assistance of a high-resolution electron microscope,the dynamics of defect engineering can be visualized in situ.Subsequently,defect engineering employed to improve the performance of 2D devices by means of other methods of plasma,chemical,and ozone treatments is reviewed.At last,the challenges and opportunities of defect engineering on promoting the development of 2D materials are discussed.Through this review,we aim to build a correlation between defects and properties of 2D materials to support the design and optimization of high-performance electronic and optoelectronic devices.Jie Jiang Tao Xu Junpeng Lu Litao Sun Zhenhua Ni 2019Research2019,,1:5
14D2 plus radical resection combined with perioperative chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer with pyloric obstruction显示文摘A patient with advanced gastric cancer complicated with pyloric obstruction was treated using D2 + radical resection combined with perioperative chemotherapy, and had satisfying outcomes. The perioperative chemotherapy regimen was Taxol and S1 (tegafur, gimeracil, and oteracil). Three cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy were delivered before surgery, and three cycles of adjuvant therapy after surgery. PR was achieved after chemotherapy. 16Effect of Spine Motion on Mobility in Quadruped Running显示文摘Most of current running quadruped robots have similar construction: a stiff body and four compliant legs. Many researches have indicated that the stiff body without spine motion is a main factor in limitation of robots' mobility. Therefore, investigating spine motion is very important to build robots with better mobility. A planar quadruped robot is designed based on cheetahs' morphology. There is a spinal driving joint in the body of the robot. When the spinal driving joint acts, the robot has spine motion; otherwise, the robot has not spine motion. Six group prototype experiments with the robot are carried out to study the effect of spine motion on mobility. In each group, there are two comparative experiments: the spinal driving joint acts in one experiment but does not in the other experiment. The results of the prototype experiments indicate that the average speeds of the robot with spine motion are 8.7%–15.9% larger than those of the robot without spine motion. Furthermore, a simplified sagittal plane model of quadruped mammals is introduced. The simplified model also has a spinal driving joint. Using a similar process as the prototype experiments, six group simulation experiments with the simplified model are conducted. The results of the simulation experiments show that the maximum rear leg horizontal thrusts of the simplified mode with spine motion are 68.2%–71.3% larger than those of the simplified mode without spine motion. 17Q-learning based heterogenous network self-optimization for reconfigurable network with CPC assistance显示文摘With the irreversible trend of the convergence and cooperation among heterogeneous networks, there emerge some important issues for network evolution. One of them is to reconfigure network elements such as cellular base stations (BSs) or access points (APs) of wireless local area networks (WLANs) according to the real-time network environment, in order to maximize the cooperation gain of different networks. In this paper, we consider cognitive pilot channel (CPC) as an assistant to enable cooperation among heterogeneous networks. Based on the widely used reinforcement learning algorithm, this paper has proposed the heterogeneous network self-optimization algorithm (HNSA) to solve the adaptation problem in reconfigurable systems. In the algorithm, distributed agents perform reinforcement learning, and make decisions cooperatively with the help of CPC in order to reduce the system blocking rate and improve network revenue. 18Synthesis and Characterization of Sphere-like Pt Nanoparticles Supported on DWCNT/WO_3 Nanorods with Electrocatalytic Activity显示文摘Tungsten oxide(WO3) nanorods, which were used to load platinum(Pt) nanoparticles, were investigated. H2WO4 nanorods with diameters from 10 to 50 nm were obtained when tungsten precursor was added into homogenous double-walled carbon nanotubes(DWCNT) and ethylene glycol(EG) solution.Nanosized rod-like WO3 were achieved after calcination of the DWCNT/H2WO4 composite. Sphere-like Pt nanoparticles were loaded on the surface of the nanorods by EG in-situ reduction. Pt particles were isolated by DWCNT/WO3 nanorods and secondary accumulation could be prevented when Pt particles appeared in the DWCNT/WO3 nanorod/EG dispersion solution. Therefore, Pt nanoparticles with mean diameters of 2–6 nm could be obtained. 19Preparation and Tribological Properties of Lanthanum-doped Muscovite Composite Particles as Lubricant Additives in Lithium Grease显示文摘Lanthanum-doped muscovite(MC) composite particles(hereinafter abbreviated as La-MC) were prepared by the mechanical solid-state-chemistry-reaction method, followed by surface modification with oleic acid. The microstructure of materials was characterized by SEM, XRD, EDS and FTIR. Furthermore, the friction-reduction and anti-wear properties of MC and La-MC as lubricant additives in lithium grease were evaluated using a four-ball friction and wear tester. The results showed that La(OH)_3 nanoparticles were coated on the surface of muscovite. Both MC and La-MC can effectively improve the friction-reduction and anti-wear properties of lithium grease and La-MC presents better tribological properties than MC. 20Biomass derived porous nitrogen doped carbon for electrochemical devices显示文摘Biomass derived porous nanostructured nitrogen doped carbon(PNC) has been extensively investigated as the electrode material for electrochemical catalytic reactions and rechargeable batteries. Biomass with and without containing nitrogen could be designed and optimized to prepare PNC via hydrothermal carbonization, pyrolysis, and other methods. The presence of nitrogen in carbon can provide more active sites for ion absorption, improve the electronic conductivity, increase the bonding between carbon and sulfur, and enhance the electrochemical catalytic reaction. The synthetic methods of natural biomass derived PNC, heteroatomic co-or tri-doping into biomass derived carbon and the application of biomass derived PNC in rechargeable Li/Na batteries, high energy density Li-S batteries, supercapacitors, metal-air batteries and electrochemical catalytic reaction(oxygen reduction and evolution reactions, hydrogen evolution reaction) are summarized and discussed in this review.
