| 1 | Power-balancing Instantaneous Optimization Energy Management for a Novel Series-parallel Hybrid Electric Bus显示文摘Energy management(EM) is a core technique of hybrid electric bus(HEB) in order to advance fuel economy performance optimization and is unique for the corresponding configuration. There are existing algorithms of control strategy seldom take battery power management into account with international combustion engine power management. In this paper, a type of power-balancing instantaneous optimization(PBIO) energy management control strategy is proposed for a novel series-parallel hybrid electric bus. According to the characteristic of the novel series-parallel architecture, the switching boundary condition between series and parallel mode as well as the control rules of the power-balancing strategy are developed. The equivalent fuel model of battery is implemented and combined with the fuel of engine to constitute the objective function which is to minimize the fuel consumption at each sampled time and to coordinate the power distribution in real-time between the engine and battery. To validate the proposed strategy effective and reasonable, a forward model is built based on Matlab/Simulink for the simulation and the dSPACE autobox is applied to act as a controller for hardware in-the-loop integrated with bench test. Both the results of simulation and hardware-in-the-loop demonstrate that the proposed strategy not only enable to sustain the battery SOC within its operational range and keep the engine operation point locating the peak efficiency region, but also the fuel economy of series-parallel hybrid electric bus(SPHEB) dramatically advanced up to 30.73% via comparing with the prototype bus and a similar improvement for PBIO strategy relative to rule-based strategy, the reduction of fuel consumption is up to 12.38%. The proposed research ensures the algorithm of PBIO is real-time applicability, improves the efficiency of SPHEB system, as well as suite to complicated configuration perfectly. | SUN Dongye LIN Xinyou QIN Datong DENG Tao | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,6: | 18 |
| 2 | Analysis and external validation of a nomogram to predict peritoneal dissemination in gastric cancer显示文摘Objective:Peritoneal dissemination is difficult to diagnose by conventional imaging technologies. We aimed to construct a nomogram to predict peritoneal dissemination in gastric cancer(GC)patients. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 1,112 GC patients in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center between2001 and 2010 as the development set and 474 patients from The Sixth Affiliated Hospital,Sun Yat-sen University between 2010 and 2016 as the validation set.The clinicopathological variables associated with gastric cancer with peritoneal dissemination(GCPD)were analyzed. We used logistic regression analysis to identify independent risk factors for peritoneal dissemination. Then,we constructed a nomogram for the prediction of GCPD and defined its predictive value with a receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.External validation was performed to validate the applicability of the nomogram. Results:In total,250 patients were histologically identified as having peritoneal dissemination.Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that age, sex, tumor location, tumor size,signet-ring cell carcinoma(SRCC),T stage,N stage and Borrmann classification IV(Borrmann IV)were independent risk factors for peritoneal dissemination. We constructed a nomogram consisting of these eight factors to predict GCPD and found an optimistic predictive capability, with a C-index of 0.791,an area under the curve(AUC)of 0.791,and a 95%confidence interval(95%CI)of 0.762-0.820.The results found in the external validation set were also promising. Conclusions:We constructed a highly sensitive nomogram that can assist clinicians in the early diagnosis of GCPD and serve as a reference for optimizing clinical management strategies. | Xijie Chen Shi Chen Xinyou Wang Runcong Nie Dongwen Chen Jun Xiang Yijia Lin Yingbo Chen Junsheng Peng | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,2: | 6 |

| 4 | Assessment of Sea Surface Temperature Warming in the Tropical Indian Ocean Simulated by CMIP Models显示文摘The tropical Indian Ocean is an important region that affects local and remote climate systems, and the simulation of longterm trends in sea surface temperature(SST)is a major focus of climate research. This study presents a preliminary assessment of multiple model simulations of tropical Indian Ocean SST warming from 1950 to 1999 based on outputs from the 20 Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP)Phase 5(CMIP5)models and the 36 CMIP 6(CMIP6)models to analyze and compare the warming patterns in historical simulations. Results indicate large discrepancies in the simulations of tropical Indian Ocean SST warming, especially for the eastern equatorial Indian Ocean. The multimodel ensemble mean and most of the individual models generally perform well in reproducing basin-wide SST warming. However, the strength of the SST warming trends simulated by the CMIP5 and CMIP6 models are weaker than those observed, especially for the CMIP6 models. In addition to the general warming trend analysis, decadal trends are also assessed, and a statistical method is introduced to measure the near-term variability in an SST time series. The simulations indicate large decadal variability over the entire tropical Indian Ocean, differing from observations in which significant decadal trend variability is observed only in the southeastern Indian Ocean. In the CMIP model simulations, maximum decadal variability occurs in boreal autumn, but the observations display the minimum and maximum variability in boreal autumn and spring, respectively. | ZHANG Xinyou LUO Yulan LIU Lin SUN Xuguang | 2023 | Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,4: | 0 |
| 5 | An Innovation of Evaluation and Design of Vehicle Acceleration Sound Based on EEG Signals显示文摘There is a bottleneck in the design of vehicle sound that the subjective perception of sound quality that combines multiple psychological factors fails to be accurately and objectively quantified. Therefore,EEG signals are introduced in this paper to investigate the evaluation and design method of vehicle acceleration sound with powerful sound quality.Firstly, the experiment of EEG acquisition and subjective evaluation under the stimulation of powerful vehicle sounds is conducted, respectively, then three physiological EEG features of PSD_β,PSD_γand DE are constructed to evaluate the vehicle sounds based on the correlation analysis algorithms.Subsequently, the Adaptive Genetic Algorithm(AGA)is proposed to optimize the Elman model, where an intelligent model(AGA–Elman)is constructed to objectively predicate the perception of subjects for the vehicle sounds with powerful sound quality. The results demonstrate that the error of the constructed AGA–Elman model is only 2.88%,which outperforms than the traditional BP and Elman model; Finally, two vehicle acceleration sounds(Design1 and Design2)are designed based on the constructed AGA–Elman model from the perspective of order modulation and frequency modulation, which provide the acoustic theoretical guidance for the design of vehicle sound incorporating the EEG signals. | Liping Xie XinYou Lin Wan Chen Zhien Liu Yawei Zhu | 2024 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2024,21,1: | 0 |
