2The first all-season sample set for mapping global land cover with Landsat-8 data显示文摘We report the world's first all-season training and validation sample sets for global land cover classification with Landsat-8 data.Prior to this,such samples were only available at a single date primarily from the growing season.It is unknown how much limitation such a single-date sample has to mapping global land cover in other seasons of the year.To answer this question,we selected available Landsat-8 images from four seasons and collected training and validation samples from them.We compared the performances of training samples in different seasons using Random Forest algorithm.We found that the use of training samples from any individual season would result in the best overall classification accuracy when validated by samples in the same season.The global overall accuracy from combined best seasonal results was 67.2% when classifying the 11 Level-1 classes in the Finer Resolution Observation and Monitoring of Global Land Cover(FROM-GLC) classification system.The use of training samples from all seasons(named all-season training sample set hereafter) produced an overall accuracy of 67.0%.We also tested classification within 10° latitude 60° longitude zones using all-season training subsample within each zone and obtained an overall accuracy of 70.2%.This indicates that properly grouped subsamples in space can help improve classification accuracies.All the results in this study seem to suggest that it is possible to use an all-season training sample set to reach global optimality with universal applicability in classifying images acquired at any time of a year for global land cover mapping.Congcong Li Peng Gong Jie Wang Zhiliang Zhu Gregory S. 3High-precision pose measurement method in wind tunnels based on laser-aided vision technology显示文摘The measurement of position and attitude parameters for the isolated target from a highspeed aircraft is a great challenge in the field of wind tunnel simulation technology.In this paper,firstly, an image acquisition method for small high-speed targets with multi-dimensional movement in wind tunnel environment is proposed based on laser-aided vision technology.Combining with the trajectory simulation of the isolated model, the reasonably distributed laser stripes and selfluminous markers are utilized to capture clear images of the object.Then, after image processing,feature extraction, stereo correspondence and reconstruction, three-dimensional information of laser stripes and self-luminous markers are calculated.Besides, a pose solution method based on projected laser stripes and self-luminous markers is proposed.Finally, simulation experiments on measuring the position and attitude of high-speed rolling targets are conducted, as well as accuracy verification experiments.Experimental results indicate that the proposed method is feasible and efficient for measuring the pose parameters of rolling targets in wind tunnels.Liu Wei Ma Xin Li Xiao Chen Ling Zhang Yang Li Xiaodong Shang Zhiliang Jia Zhenyuan 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,4:11

5The single nucleotide polymorphisms of the chicken myostatin gene are associated with skeletal muscle and adipose growth显示文摘Myostatin, a new member of the TGF-β superfamily, is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle cells and functions as a negative regulator of skeletal muscle growth in animals. Recently, we have reported three single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the chicken myostatin gene. Herein, we investigate the association of those SNPs with the production traits in a F2 chicken line derived from Broilers crossing to Silky with the least square analysis. The results show that the BB and AA genotypes are strongly associated with abdominal fat weight (AFW), abdominal fat percentage (AFP), and birth weight (BW) (P < 0.05). Breast muscle percentage (BMP) of the AA type is higher than that of the AB type. The breast muscle weight and breast muscle percentages of F2 individuals have significant difference between CC and DD genotypes (P < 0.05). Breast muscle weight (BMW) of EF birds is higher than that of EE birds (P < 0.05). 6Cloned pigs derived from somatic cell nuclear transferembryos cultured in vitro atlow oxygen tension显示文摘Pig cloning has great potential to human xenotransplantation. The present study was designed to establish a more efficient system for producing cloned pigs by somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT). Our approach was as follows: SCNT embryos were reconstructed by using fetal fibroblasts of Chinese miniature pig as donors and in vitro matured oocytes of prepubertal gilts as recipients. Reconstructed em- bryos were induced by electrical fusion/activation and cultured in BSA-containing North Carolina State University 23 medium (NCSU-23) or Porcine Zygote Medium (PZM-3) at the gas condition of 5% CO2, 7% O2, 88% N2. A total of 230 cloned embryos were transferred to three surrogate sows, producing three piglets. One of them is apparently healthy. The clonal provenance of the piglet was indicated by its coat color and confirmed by DNA microsatellite analysis. 7Three-dimensional holographic vector of atomic interaction field for quantitative structure-retention relationship of purine bases显示文摘A newly developed descriptor, three- dimensional holographic vector of atomic interaction field (3D-HoVAIF), was used to describe the chemical structures of purine bases. After variable screening by stepwise multiple regression (SMR) technique, a partial least square (PLS) regression model was built with 3D-HoVAIF. The model was satisfactory com- paring to reference since correlation coefficients of molecular modeling ( Rc 2um), cross- validation ( Qc 2um) and standard deviation of estimation (SD) were 0.966, 0.860 and 0.112, respectively, showing that the model had favorable estimation and prediction capa- bilities. It was illustrated that information related to retention data of purine bases could preferably be expressed by 3D-HoVAIF with definite physico- chemical meanings and easy structural interpretation for purine bases. It was illustrated that 3D-HoVAIF was to preferably express retention data of purine bases and had definite physicochemical significance. 9A novel comparative molecule/pseudo receptor interaction analysis显示文摘Comparative molecule/pseudo receptor interaction analysis (CoMPIA) is developed as a novel 3D-QSAR method by adding postulated pseudo receptor and GA-optimized probe into com- parative molecular field analysis (CoMFA). CoMPIA is used to find the pseudo receptor mode by opti- mizing probe distributions and to establish the opti- mal model of high qualities and good interpretations. 11Simulative technology for auxiliary fuel tank separation in a wind tunnel显示文摘In this paper,we propose a simulative experimental system in wind tunnel conditions for the separation of auxiliary fuel tanks from an aircraft.The experimental system consists of a simulative release mechanism,a scaled model and a pose measuring system.A new release mechanism was designed to ensure stability of the separation.Scaled models of the auxiliary fuel tank were designed and their moment of inertia was adjusted by installing counterweights inside the model.Pose parameters of the scaled model were measured and calculated by a binocular vision system.Additionally,in order to achieve high brightness and high signal-to-noise ratio of the images in the dark enclosed wind tunnel,a new high-speed image acquisition method based on miniature self-emitting units was presented.Accuracy of the pose measurement system and repeatability of the separation mechanism were verified in the laboratory.Results show that the position precision of the pose measurement system can reach 0.1 mm,the precision of the pitch and yaw angles is less than 0.1° and that of the roll angle can be up to 0.3°.Besides,repeatability errors of models' velocity and angular velocity controlled by the release mechanism remain small,satisfying the measurement requirements.Finally,experiments for the separation of auxiliary fuel tanks were conducted in the laboratory.Ma Xin Liu Wei Chen Ling Li Xiao Jia Zhenyuan Shang Zhiliang 2016Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2016,29,3:5

13Rumen-protected glucose supplementation in transition dairy cows shifts fermentation patterns and enhances mucosal immunity显示文摘Manipulation of perinatal diets,such as supplementing feed with rumen-protected glucose(RPG),has been positively regarded as a strategy to improve milking performance.This study was conducted to assess the effects of RPG on the fermentation profiles,resident microbiota and mucosal immunity in the cecum.Ten Holstein dairy cows were randomly assigned to either a 25 g/kg RPG diet(DM basis)or a 11 g/kg coating fat diet(control,CON).Compared with the CON group,the acetate-to-propionate ratio was lower in the RPG group.Gene expression analysis indicated that RPG supplementation tended to upregulate the expression of Na^(+)/H^(+)hydrogen exchanger 3(NHE3)(P=0.076).RPG supplementation downregulated the expression of genes involved in self-rehabilitation such as matrix metalloproteinase 1(MMP1),MMP3,MMP9 and MMP13.Additionally,the mRNA expression of genes involved in immunity including Toll-like receptors(TLR4,TLR6 and TLR7)and proinflammatory cytokines(immune interferon gamma[IFNG]and interleukins interleukin 17 A[IL7 F],IL17 A,IL22),was downregulated by RPG supplementation.Nonetheless,no differences existed in the bacterial copy number and beta diversity between the 2 groups.Overall,supplementation with RPG would probably cause a shift towards propionate production in the cecal digesta,and promote the immune homeostasis of the cecal mucosa in transition dairy cows.Our results extended the basic understanding of RPG supplementation and utilization in transition dairy cows in terms of host microbe interplay in the cecum.Xiaoli Zhang Xiaopeng Li Jian Wu Jinzhen Jiao Zhixiong He Zhiliang Tan Xuefeng Han 2021Animal Nutrition2021,,4:4
14Cognitive Emotion Model for Eldercare Robot in Smart Home显示文摘Based on the smart home and facial expression recognition, this paper presents a cognitive emotional model for eldercare robot. By combining with Gabor filter, Local Binary Pattern algorithm(LBP) and k-Nearest Neighbor algorithm(KNN) are facial emotional features extracted and recognized. Meanwhile, facial emotional features put influence on robot's emotion state, which is described in AVS emotion space. Then the optimization of smart home environment on the cognitive emotional model is specially analyzed using simulated annealing algorithm(SA). Finally, transition probability from any emotional state to a state of basic emotions is obtained based on the cognitive reappraisal strategy and Euclidean distance. 16Review of local mean decomposition and its application in fault diagnosis of rotating machinery显示文摘Rotating machinery is widely used in the industry.They are vulnerable to many kinds of damages especially for those working under tough and time-varying operation conditions.Early detection of these damages is important,otherwise,they may lead to large economic loss even a catastrophe.Many signal processing methods have been developed for fault diagnosis of the rotating machinery.Local mean decomposition(LMD)is an adaptive mode decomposition method that can decompose a complicated signal into a series of mono-components,namely product functions(PFs).In recent years,many researchers have adopted LMD in fault detection and diagnosis of rotating machines.We give a comprehensive review of LMD in fault detection and diagnosis of rotating machines.First,the LMD is described.The advantages,disadvantages and some improved LMD methods are presented.Then,a comprehensive review on applications of LMD in fault diagnosis of the rotating machinery is given.The review is divided into four parts:fault diagnosis of gears,fault diagnosis of rotors,fault diagnosis of bearings,and other LMD applications.In each of these four parts,a review is given to applications applying the LMD,improved LMD,and LMD-based combination methods,respectively.We give a summary of this review and some future potential topics at the end.LI Yongbo SI Shubin LIU Zhiliang LIANG Xihui 2019Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2019,30,4:4
17Mass transport deposits and processes in the north slope of the Xisha Trough,northern South China Sea显示文摘Triple mass-transport deposits(MTDs) with areas of 625, 494 and 902 km2, respectively, have been identified on the north slope of the Xisha Trough, northern South China Sea margin. Based on high-resolution seismic reflection data and multi-beam bathymetric data, the Quaternary MTDs are characterized by typical geometric shapes and internal structures. Results of slope analysis showed that they are developed in a steep slope ranging from 5° to 35°. The head wall scarps of the MTDs arrived to 50 km in length(from headwall to termination). Their inner structures include well developed basal shear surface, growth faults, stepping lateral scarps, erosion grooves, and frontal thrust deformation. From seismic images, the central deepwater channel system of the Xisha Trough has been filled by interbedded channel-levee deposits and thick MTDs. Therefore, we inferred that the MTDs in the deepwater channel system could be dominated by far-travelled slope failure deposits even though there are local collapses of the trough walls. And then, we drew the two-dimensional process model and threedimensional structure model diagram of the MTDs. 18Technique for Advanced Electrochemical Oxidation Treatment of Nanofiltration Concentrate of Landfill Leachate显示文摘Landfill leachate treated with combined process of 'pretreatment +biological treatment +advanced treatment(NF)' to produce nanofiltration concentrate, which bio-chemical ratio(B/C) is less than 0.1 and CODcr concentration is 2 000-2 500 mg/L, high salt content. Which cannot be discharged under existing environmental standards. According to analysis based on electrochemical advanced oxidation mechanism, a two-step electrochemical technique was recommended. In the first step, a pulse electrochemical technique was adopted. With Fe as consumption electrode and current density of 10 mA/cm2, the pollutants were removed by means of Fenton reaction, electroflotation and electrocoagulation. In the second step, a double function electrode was used to perform electrocatalytic oxidation by means of titanium metallic oxidates. In the condition that current density being 12.5 mA/cm2, the pollutants were further removed by oxidation and electrolytic deposition. 20Ultrafine Sn_(4)P_(3)nanocrystals from chloride reduction on mechanically activated Na surface for sodium/lithium ion batteries显示文摘Nanostructured metal phosphides are very attractive materials in energy storage and conversion,but their applications are severely limited by complicated preparation steps,harsh conditions and large excess of highly toxic phosphorus source.Here we develop a highly efficient one-step method to synthesize Sn_(4)P_(3)nanostructure based on simultaneous reduction of SnCl_(4)and PCl_(3)on mechanically activated Na surface and in situ phosphorization.The low-toxic PCl3 displays a very high phosphorizing efficiency(100%).Furthermore,this simple method is powerful to control phosphide size.Ultrafine Sn_(4)P_(3)nanocrystals(<5 nm)supported on carbon sheets(Sn_(4)P_(3)/C)are obtained,which is due to the unique bottom-up surface-limited reaction.As the anode material for sodium/lithium ion batteries(SIBs/LIBs),the Sn_(4)P_(3)/C shows profound sodiation/lithiation extents,good phase-conversion reversibility,excellent rate performance and long cycling stability,retaining high capacities of 420 mAh/g for SIBs and 760 mAh/g for LIBs even after 400 cycles at 1.0 A/g.Combining simple and efficient preparation,low-toxic and high-efficiency phosphorus source and good control of nanosize,this method is very promising for low-cost and scalable preparation of high-performance Sn_(4)P_(3)anode.Zhiliang Liu Xiangxi Wang Zhuoyan Wu Sungjin Yang Shaolei Yang Shunpeng Chen Xinteng Wu Xinghua Chang Piaoping Yang Jie Zheng Xingguo Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,11:4
