| 3 | Non-ammonia enrichment of rare earth by magnesium oxide from rare earth leaching liquor in magnesium salt system显示文摘In order to solve the problem of ammonia-nitrogen pollution in the enrichment process of the ionadsorption type rare earth ore,the technology of non-ammonia precipitation with magnesium oxide precipitant was carried out.It is determined that the rare earth precipitation efficiency is 99.6%and the purity of rare earth concentrates is only 85.89 wt%under the optimum precipitation conditions.And the contents of MgO,SO3 and Al2O3 in the rare earth concentrates are 5.12 wt%,6.77 wt%and 1.78 wt%,respectively.Furthermore,the thermo-decomposition process of precipitates was investigated by TGDSC,XRD and FI-IR.The thermal decomposition process consists of two stages:the dehydration of rare earth hydroxide and alkaline rare earth sulfate within 900℃and the thermal decomposition of RE2O2SO4 at 900-1300℃.Therefore,a high-temperature calcinations method for removing SO3 from precipitates is proposed.When the precipitates are calcined at 1300℃for 2 h,the rare earth concentrates with a purity of 92.03 wt%can be acquired.Moreover,the content of SO3 in the concentrate is only 0.46 wt%.In the MgO precipitation and high-temperature calcinations process,the raw material cost is low and the quality of rare earth concentrates is acceptable.It could have great significance for nonammonia enrichment of rare earth from the rare earth leaching liquor,and finally solve the problem of ammonia nitrogen in the extraction process of the ion-adsorption type rare earth ore within magnesium salt system. | Li Huang Guohua Gao Ran Wu Qian Zhang Fuguo Lai Yanfei Xiao | 2019 | Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,8: | 14 |
| 4 | Recovery of rare earths from ion-absorbed rare earths ore with MgSO_4-ascorbic acid compound leaching agent显示文摘The magnesium sulfate leaching technology for the ion-absorbed rare earths ore can solve the ammonia pollution problem existing in ammonium sulfate leaching process. However, the leaching capacity of magnesium sulfate is slightly weaker than that of ammonium sulfate, resulting in a bigger consumption of magnesium sulfate. In this paper, the MgSO_4-ascorbic acid compound leaching agent had been demonstrated to deal with the ion-absorbed rare earths ore. The ascorbic acid could form a stable coordination with rare earth ions, so that it can strengthen the leaching of ion-exchangeable phase.Moreover, ascorbic acid has a strong reductive property, it can leach the colloidal sediment phase rare earth as well. The present study investigates the effect of the initial pH and the composition of leaching agent on the rare earth leaching. It is determined that the rare earth leaching efficiency is 107.5% under the condition of pH 2.00,0.15 mol/L magnesium sulfate and 1.0 g/L ascorbic acid in leaching agent. In this case, the content of the ion-exchangeable phase and colloidal sediment phase rare earth in the leaching residues are both only 0.02‰. The leaching efficiency of colloid sediment phase rare earth can be 85.7%,so that the Ce partition in the leaching liquor increases to be 5.77%. | 6 | Preparation of Gd_2O_3:Eu^(3+) downconversion luminescent material and its application in dye-sensitized solar cells显示文摘Gd_2O_3 :Eu^(3+) downconversion luminescent powder was prepared using the homogeneous precipitation method. Its optical properties were analyzed and it was introduced into a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). As a luminescence medium, Gd_2O_3 :Eu^(3+) improved light harvesting via conversion luminescence and increased the photocurrent of the DSSC. As a p-type dopant insulating rare earth oxides form an energy barrier, and the Gd_2O_3 :Eu^(3+) elevated the energy level of the oxide film and increased the photovoltage. | 8 | Preparation of porous nanoparticle TiO_2 films for flexible dye-sensitized solar cells显示文摘A TiO2 paste was prepared by mixing commercial TiO2 (P25), ethanol, distilled water and a small amount of Ti (IV) tetrai-sopropoxide (TTIP), following by a hydrothermal treatment. Before hydrothermal treatment, a stirring for 48 h can prevent cracking TiO2 films. TTIP significantly promote the chemical connection between TiO2 particles and its adherence to the substrate, the TTIP amount of 6 mol% is suitable. UV irradiation can remove some impurities and water from the TiO2 film with an optimal time of 2 h. Transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and photovoltaic tests are charac- terized and measured. | 9 | Description of shape characteristics through Fourier and wavelet analysis显示文摘In this paper,Fourier and Wavelet transformation were adopted to analyze shape characteristics,with twelve simple shapes and two types of second phases from real microstructure morphology. According to the results of Fast Fourier transformation(FFT),the Fourier descriptors can be used to characterize the shape from the aspects of the first eight Normalization amplitudes,the number of the largest amplitudes to inverse reconstruction,similarity of shapes and profile roughness. And the Diepenbroek Roughness was rewritten by Normalization amplitudes of FFT results. Moreover,Sum Square of Relative Errors(SSRE) of Wavelet transformation(WT) signal sequence,including approximation signals and detail signals,was introduced to evaluate the similarity and relative orientation among shapes. As a complement to FFT results,the WT results can retain more detailed information of shapes including their orientations. | 10 | Mechanical properties study of particles reinforced aluminum matrix composites by micro-indentation experiments显示文摘By using instrumental micro-indentation technique, the microhardness and Young's modulus of SiC particles reinforced aluminum matrix composites were investigated with microcompression-tester(MCT). The micro-indentation experiments were performed with different maximum loads, and with three loading speeds of 2.231, 4.462 and 19.368 mN/s respectively. During the investigation, matrix, particle and interface were tested by micro-indentation experiments. The results exhibit that the variations of Young's modulus and microhardness at particle, matrix and interface were highly dependent on the loading conditions(maximum load and loading speed) and the locations of indentation. Micro-indentation hardness experiments of matrix show the indentation size effects, i.e. the indentation hardness decreased with the indentation depth increasing. During the analysis, the effect of loading conditions on Young's modulus and microhardness were explained. Besides, the elastic–plastic properties of matrix were analyzed. The validity of calculated results was identified by finite element simulation. The ratio m of major-axis to minor-axis length for ellipse-cross-section, the torsion angle u, the round-ellipse cross-section transitional channel L1, the elliptical rotation cross-section transitional channel L2 and the ellipse-round cross-section transitional channel L3 are destined for the extrusion process parameters. The average effective strain eave on cross-section of blank, the deformation uniformity coefficient a and the value of maximum damage dmax are chosen to be the optimize indexes, and the virtual orthogonal experiment of L16 (45) is designed. The correlation degree of the process factors affecting eave, a and dmax is analyzed by the numerical simulation results using the weights and grey association model. The process parameters are optimized by introducing the grey situation decision theory and the ECSEE optimal combination of process parameters is obtained: u of 120 , m of 1.55, L1 of 7 mm, L2 of 10 mm, and L3 of 10 mm. Simulation and experimental results show that the material can be refined with the optimized structural parameters of die.
