| 1 | Phosphorylation inhibition of protein-tyrosine phosphatase 1B tyrosine-152 induces bone regeneration coupled with angiogenesis for bone tissue engineering显示文摘A close relationship has been reported to exist between cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion and integrin-mediated cell mobility,and protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP1B)may be involved in maintaining this homeostasis.The stable residence of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)and endothelial cells(ECs)in their niches is closely related to the regulation of PTP1B.However,the exact role of the departure of MSCs and ECs from their niches during bone regeneration is largely unknown.Here,we show that the phosphorylation state of PTP1B tyrosine-152(Y152)plays a central role in initiating the departure of these cells from their niches and their subsequent recruitment to bone defects.Based on our previous design of a PTP1B Y152 region-mimicking peptide(152RM)that significantly inhibits the phosphorylation of PTP1B Y152,further investigations revealed that 152RM enhanced cell migration partly via integrinαvβ3 and promoted MSCs osteogenic differentiation partly by inhibiting ATF3.Moreover,152RM induced type H vessels formation by activating Notch signaling.Demineralized bone matrix(DBM)scaffolds were fabricated with mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs),and 152RM was then loaded onto them by electrostatic adsorption.The DBM-MSN/152RM scaffolds were demonstrated to induce bone formation and type H vessels expansion in vivo.In conclusion,our data reveal that 152RM contributes to bone formation by coupling osteogenesis with angiogenesis,which may offer a potential therapeutic strategy for bone defects. | Yong Tang Keyu Luo Yin Chen Yueqi Chen Rui Zhou Can Chen Jiulin Tan Moyuan Deng Qijie Dai Xueke Yu Jian Liu Chengmin Zhang Wenjie Wu Jianzhong Xu Shiwu Dong Fei Luo | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,7: | 3 |
| 2 | Depletion of VPS35 attenuates metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma by restraining the Wnt/PCP signaling pathway显示文摘Vesicle Protein Sorting 35(VPS35)is a novel oncogene that promotes tumor growth through the PI3K/AKT signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,the role of VPS35 in HCC metastasis and the underlying mechanisms remain largely unclear.In this study,we observed that overexpression of VPS35 enhanced hepatoma cell invasion and metastasis by inducing epithelialemesenchymal transition(EMT)-related gene expression.Conversely,knockout of VPS35 significantly inhibited hepatoma cell migration and invasion.Furthermore,depletion of VPS35 decreased the lung metastasis of HCC in nude mice.By transcriptome analysis,we determined that VPS35 promoted HCC metastasis by activating the Wnt/non-canonical planar cell polarity(PCP)pathway.Mechanistically,VPS35 activated the PCP pathway by regulating membrane sorting and trafficking of Frizzled-2(FZD2)and ROR1 in hepatoma cells.Collectively,our results indicate that VPS35 promotes HCC metastasis via enhancing the Wnt/PCP signaling,thus providing a potential prognostic marker and therapeutic target for HCC. | Yi Liu Haijun Deng Li Liang Guiji Zhang Jie Xia Keyue Ding Ni Tang Kai Wang | 2021 | Genes & Diseases2021,8,2: | 2 |
| 3 | A multiphase sodium vanadium phosphate cathode material for high-rate sodium-ion batteries显示文摘The unsatisfactory rate capability and poor cycling stability at high rate of sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) have impeded their practical applications. Herein, a Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/Na_(3)V_(3)(PO_(4))_(4) multiphase cathode materials for high-rate and long cycling SIBs was successfully synthesized by regulation the stoichiometric ratio of raw materials. The combined experiment and simulation results show that the multiphase materials consisted of NASICON structural phase Na3V2(PO4)3 and layered structure phase Na_(3)V_(3)(PO_(4))_(4), possess abundant phase boundaries. Electrochemical experiments demonstrate that the multiphase materials maintain a remarkable reversible capacity of 69.0 mA h g^(-1) even at an ultrahigh current density of 100 C with a high capacity retention of 81.25 % even after 10,000 cycles. | 10 | Broad-intensity-range optical nonreciprocity based on feedback-induced Kerr nonlinearity显示文摘Nonreciprocal light propagation plays an important role in modern optical systems,from photonic networks to integrated photonics. We propose a nonreciprocal system based on a resonance-frequency-tunable cavity and intensity-adaptive feedback control. Because the feedback-induced Kerr nonlinearity in the cavity is dependent on the incident direction of light,the system exhibits nonreciprocal transmission with a transmission contrast of 0.99 and an insertion loss of 1.5 dB. By utilizing intensity-adaptive feedback control,the operating intensity range of the nonreciprocal system is broadened to 20 dB,which relaxes the limitation of the operating intensity range for nonlinear nonreciprocal systems.
