2A Combination of N2 and CO2 Adsorption to Characterize Nanopore Structure of Organic-Rich Lower Silurian Shale in the Upper Yangtze Platform, South China: Implications for Shale Gas Sorption Capacity显示文摘The pores in shales are mainly of nanometer-scale,and their pore size distribution is very important for the preservation and exploitation of shale gas.This study focused on the organic-rich Lower Silurian black shale from four wells in the Upper Yangtze Platform,and their TOC,mineralogical composition and pore characterization were investigated.Low pressure N_2 and CO_2 adsorption were conducted at 77.35 K and 273.15 K,respectively,and the pore structures were characterized by modified Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),Dubinin-Radushkevich(DR),t-plot,BarrettJoyner-Halenda(BJH) and density functional theory(DFT) methods and then the relationship between pore structure and shale gas sorption capacity was discussed.The results indicate that(1) The Lower Silurian shale has high TOC content of 0.92%-4.96%,high quartz content of 30.6%-69.5%,and high clays content of 24.1%-51.2%.The total specific surface area varies from 7.56 m^2/g to 25.86 m^2/g.Both the total specific surface area and quartz content are positively associated with the TOC content.(2)Shale samples with higher TOC content have more micropores,which results in more complex nanopore structure.Micropore volumes/surface areas and non-micropore surface areas all increase with the increasing TOC content.(3) A combination of N_2 and CO_2 adsorption provides the most suitable detection range(~0.3-60 nm) and has high reliability and accuracy for nanopore structure characterization.(4) The TOC content is the key factor to control the gas sorption capacity of the Lower Silurian shale in the Upper Yangtze Platform.CHEN Lei JIANG Zhenxue LIU Keyu GAO Fenglin WANG Pengfei 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,4:21
3Dynamic Field Division of Hydrocarbon Migration,Accumulation and Hydrocarbon Enrichment Rules in Sedimentary Basins显示文摘Hydrocarbon distribution rules in the deep and shallow parts of sedimentary basins are considerably different, particularly in the following four aspects. First, the critical porosity for hydrocarbon migration is much lower in the deep parts of basins: at a depth of 7000 m, hydrocarbons can accumulate only in rocks with porosity less than 5%. However, in the shallow parts of basins (i.e., depths of around 1000 m), hydrocarbon can accumulate in rocks only when porosity is over 20%. Second, hydrocarbon reservoirs tend to exhibit negative pressures after hydrocarbon accumulation at depth, with a pressure coefficient less than 0.7. However, hydrocarbon reservoirs at shallow depths tend to exhibit high pressure after hydrocarbon accumulation. Third, deep reservoirs tend to exhibit characteristics of oil (-gas)-water inversion, indicating that the oil (gas) accumulated under the water. However, the oil (gas) tends to accumulate over water in shallow reservoirs. Fourth, continuous unconventional tight hydrocarbon reservoirs are distributed widely in deep reservoirs, where the buoyancy force is not the primary dynamic force and the caprock is not involved during the process of hydrocarbon accumulation. Conversely, the majority of hydrocarbons in shallow regions accumulate in traps with complex structures. The results of this study indicate that two dynamic boundary conditions are primarily responsible for the above phenomena: a lower limit to the buoyancy force and the lower limit of hydrocarbon accumulation overall, corresponding to about 10%-12% porosity and irreducible water saturation of 100%, respectively. These two dynamic boundary conditions were used to divide sedimentary basins into three different dynamic fields of hydrocarbon accumulation: the free fluid dynamic field, limit fluid dynamic field, and restrain fluid dynamic field. The free fluid dynamic field is located between the surface and the lower limit of the buoyancy force, such that hydrocarbons in this field migrate and accumulate under the influence of, for example, the buoyancy force, pressure, hydrodynamic force, and capillary force. The hydrocarbon reservoirs formed are characterized as 'four high,' indicating that they accumulate in high structures, are sealed in high locations, migrate into areas of high porosity, and are stored in reservoirs at high pressure. The basic features of distribution and accumulation in this case include hydrocarbon migration as a result of the buoyancy force and formation of a reservoir by a caprock. The limit fluid dynamic field is located between the lower limit of the buoyancy force and the lower limit of hydrocarbon accumulation overall; the hydrocarbon migrates and accumulates as a result of, for example, the molecular expansion force and the capillary force. The hydrocarbon reservoirs formed are characterized as 'four low,' indicating that hydrocarbons accumulate in low structures, migrate into areas of low porosity, and accumulate in reservoirs with low pressure, and that oil(-gas)-water inversion occurs at low locations. Continuous hydrocarbon accumulation over a large area is a basic feature of this field. The restrain fluid dynamic field is located under the bottom of hydrocarbon accumulation, such that the entire pore space is filled with water. Hydrocarbons migrate as a result of the molecular diffusion force only. This field lacks many of the basic conditions required for formation of hydrocarbon reservoirs: there is no effective porosity, movable fluid, or hydrocarbon accumulation, and potential for hydrocarbon exploration is low. Many conventional hydrocarbon resources have been discovered and exploited in the free fluid dynamic field of shallow reservoirs, where exploration potential was previously considered to be low. 4A unified model for the formation and distribution of both conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon reservoirs显示文摘The discovery and large-scale exploration of unconventional oil/gas resources since 1980s have been considered as the most important advancement in the history of petroleum geology;that has not only changed the balance of supply and demand in the global energy market,but also improved our understanding of the formation mechanisms and distribution characteristics of oil/gas reservoirs.However,what is the difference of conventional and unconventional resources and why they always related to each other in petroliferous basins is not clear.As the differences and correlations between unconventional and conventional resources are complex challenging issues and very critical for resources assessment and hydrocarbon exploration,this paper focused on studying the relationship of formations and distributions among different oil/gas reservoirs.Drilling results of 12,237 exploratory wells in 6 representative petroliferous basins of China and distribution characteristics for 52,926 oil/gas accumulations over the world were applied to clarify the formation conditions and genetic relations of different oil/gas reservoirs in a petroliferous basin,and then to establish a unified model to address the differences and correlations of conventional and unconventional reservoirs.In this model,conventional reservoirs formed in free hydrocarbon dynamic field with high porosity and permeability located above the boundary of hydrocarbon buoyancy-driven accumulation depth limit.Unconventional tight reservoirs formed in confined hydrocarbon dynamic field with low porosity and permeability located between hydrocarbon buoyancy-driven accumulation depth limit and hydrocarbon accumulation depth limit.Shale oil/gas reservoirs formed in the bound hydrocarbon dynamic field with low porosity and ultra-low permeability within the source rock layers.More than 75%of proved reserves around the world are discovered in the free hydrocarbon dynamic field,which is estimated to contain only 10%of originally generated hydrocarbons.Most of undiscovered resources distributed in the confined hydrocarbon dynamic field and the bound hydrocarbon dynamic field,which contains 90%of original generated hydrocarbons,implying a reasonable and promising area for future hydrocarbon explorations.The buried depths of hydrocarbon dynamic fields become shallow with the increase of heat flow,and the remaining oil/gas resources mainly exist in the deep area of“cold basin”with low geothermal gradient.Lithology changing in the hydrocarbon dynamic field causes local anomalies in the oil/gas dynamic mechanism,leading to the local formation of unconventional hydrocarbon reservoirs in the free hydrocarbon dynamic field or the occurrence of oil/gas enrichment sweet points with high porosity and permeability in the confined hydrocarbon dynamic field.The tectonic movements destroy the medium conditions and oil/gas components,which leads to the transformation of conventional oil/gas reservoirs formed in free hydrocarbon dynamic field to unconventional ones or unconventional ones formed in confined and bound hydrocarbon dynamic fields to conventional ones.Xiongqi Pang Chengzao Jia Junqing Chen Maowen Li Wenyang Wang Qinhong Hu Yingchun Guo Zhangxin Chen Junwen Peng Keyu Liu Keliu Wu 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,2:8
5Wheat powdery mildew resistance gene Pm64 derived from wild emmer (Triticum turgidum var.dicoccoides) is tightly linked in repulsion with stripe rust resistance gene Yr5显示文摘Stripe rust and powdery mildew are both devastating diseases for durum and common wheat.Pyramiding of genes conferring resistance to one or more diseases in a single cultivar is an important breeding approach to provide broader spectra of resistances in wheat improvement. A new powdery mildew resistance gene originating from wild emmer(Triticum turgidum var.dicoccoides) backcrossed into common wheat(T. aestivum) line WE35 was identified. It conferred an intermediate level of resistance to Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici isolate E09 at the seedling stage and a high level of resistance at the adult plant stage. Genetic analysis showed that the powdery mildew resistance in WE35 was controlled by a dominant gene designated Pm64. Bulked segregant analysis(BSA) and molecular mapping indicated that Pm64 was located in chromosome bin 2 BL4-0.50–0.89. Polymorphic markers were developed from the corresponding genomic regions of Chinese Spring wheat and wild emmer accession Zavitan to delimit Pm64 to a 0.55 cM genetic interval between markers WGGBH1364 and WGGBH612, corresponding to a 15 Mb genomic region on Chinese Spring and Zavitan 2 BL, respectively. The genetic linkage map of Pm64 is critical for fine mapping and cloning. Pm64 was completely linked in repulsion with stripe rust resistance gene Yr5. 6A novel microwave absorber——BaAl_2Fe_(10)O_(19)/poly(m-toluidine) composite:Preparation and electromagnetic properties显示文摘BaFe10Al2O19 /poly(m-toluidine)(BFA/PMT) composites were synthesized by in-situ polymerization of m-toluidine in the presence of BaFe10Al2O19 particles.The structure,composition and morphology of the obtained samples were characterized by using XRD,FT-IR,UV-visible spectroscopy,SEM and TEM techniques.Their electrical conductivity,magnetic property and microwave absorbing property were measured by the four-probe meter,the vibrating sample magnetometer and the vector network analyzer,respectively.The results indicated that BFA particles were coated effectively by PMT polymer and some interactions between PMT and BFA particles existing in the composites.The conductivity of BFA/PMT composite is smaller than that of pure polymers and its saturation magnetization is a little smaller than that of pure BFA.The influence of the constitution and film thickness of absorbent on its microwave absorbing property is evident.The microwave absorbing properties of the BFA/PMT composites are better than those of pure BFA and PMT.When optimizing the mass rate of BFA/PMT to 0.3,the absorbent with 2 mm film thickness has the minimum reflection loss of 28.26 dB at approximate 14.24 GHz,and the maximum available bandwidth of 8.8 GHz,respectively.The results show that these composites can be used as advancing absorption and shielding materials due to their favorable microwave absorbing property.CHEN KeYu XU QingQing LI LiangChao GONG PeiJun CHEN HaiFeng XIAO QiuShi Xu Feng 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,7:4
7A Survey of Model Predictive Control Methods for Traffic Signal Control显示文摘Enhancing traffic efficiency and alleviating(even circumventing) traffic congestion with advanced traffic signal control(TSC) strategies are always the main issues to be addressed in urban transportation systems. Since model predictive control(MPC) has a lot of advantages in modeling complex dynamic systems, it has been widely studied in traffic signal control over the past 20 years. There is a need for an in-depth understanding of MPC-based TSC methods for traffic networks. Therefore, this paper presents the motivation of using MPC for TSC and how MPC-based TSC approaches are implemented to manage and control the dynamics of traffic flows both in urban road networks and freeway networks. Meanwhile, typical performance evaluation metrics, solution methods, examples of simulations,and applications related to MPC-based TSC approaches are reported. More importantly, this paper summarizes the recent developments and the research trends in coordination and control of traffic networks with MPC-based TSC approaches. 9Controlled fabrication and electrical-magnetic properties of Poly(OT-co-AN)/Ba_(0.8)La_(0.2)Al_2Fe_(10)O_(19) composites显示文摘Poly(OT-co-AN)/Ba0.8La0.2Al2Fe10O19(Poly(OT-co-AN)/BLAF) composites were fabricated by in situ polymerization method.It was investigated that of mass rate of momomer(mOT/mAN),polymeration temperature and time,and feeding ratio of BLAF effect on the structures,morphology,conductivity,magnetic property of composites by the orthogonal optimum design.The results indicated that poly(OT-co-AN) copolymer had a better coating on BLAF particles,and there were some interactions between components in the composites.The magnetic properties of the composites were related to content of the magnetic BLAF particles in it.The feeding ratio of BLAF had a significant influence on constitute and conductivity of the composites,followed by the temperature.The reflection loss and the effective bandwidth of composites for electromagnetic wave were at-tributed to the synergistic effect between poly(OT-co-AN) and BLAF.The poly(OT-co-AN)/BLAF composites with mass ratio of BLAF to mix monomer(mOT/mAN =1:1) equal to 5/1 at 10 h in 25°C had a maximum synergistic effect between its compo-nents,showed a maximum reflection loss of ?26.94 dB at 14.10 GHz and an available bandwidth of 8.54 GHz.It was sug-gested that the composites can be used as a advancing absorption and shielding materials for electromagnetic wave due to their favorable microwave absorption properties.CHEN KeYu XU QingQing LI LiangChao TONG GuoXiu QIAN HaiSheng XIAO QiuShi XU Feng 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,1:4

11Phosphorylation inhibition of protein-tyrosine phosphatase 1B tyrosine-152 induces bone regeneration coupled with angiogenesis for bone tissue engineering显示文摘A close relationship has been reported to exist between cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion and integrin-mediated cell mobility,and protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP1B)may be involved in maintaining this homeostasis.The stable residence of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)and endothelial cells(ECs)in their niches is closely related to the regulation of PTP1B.However,the exact role of the departure of MSCs and ECs from their niches during bone regeneration is largely unknown.Here,we show that the phosphorylation state of PTP1B tyrosine-152(Y152)plays a central role in initiating the departure of these cells from their niches and their subsequent recruitment to bone defects.Based on our previous design of a PTP1B Y152 region-mimicking peptide(152RM)that significantly inhibits the phosphorylation of PTP1B Y152,further investigations revealed that 152RM enhanced cell migration partly via integrinαvβ3 and promoted MSCs osteogenic differentiation partly by inhibiting ATF3.Moreover,152RM induced type H vessels formation by activating Notch signaling.Demineralized bone matrix(DBM)scaffolds were fabricated with mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs),and 152RM was then loaded onto them by electrostatic adsorption.The DBM-MSN/152RM scaffolds were demonstrated to induce bone formation and type H vessels expansion in vivo.In conclusion,our data reveal that 152RM contributes to bone formation by coupling osteogenesis with angiogenesis,which may offer a potential therapeutic strategy for bone defects.Yong Tang Keyu Luo Yin Chen Yueqi Chen Rui Zhou Can Chen Jiulin Tan Moyuan Deng Qijie Dai Xueke Yu Jian Liu Chengmin Zhang Wenjie Wu Jianzhong Xu Shiwu Dong Fei Luo 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:3
12Multi-level modulation scheme based on PAK algorithm for optical camera communications显示文摘In an optical camera communication(OCC) system, multi-level modulation is essential for data rate enhancement with the finite frame rate of the receiving camera constraint, where the K-means algorithm is widely used as a thresholding scheme. The result of K-means clustering is sensitive to initial cluster centers. In this paper, we propose a multi-level modulation scheme utilizing the pilot-aided K-means(PAK) algorithm. PAK algorithm innovates in both obtaining the state of the stripes propagated through the optical channel under different environments and overcoming the susceptibility of K-means. Our scheme could prompt data rate and improve the performance of OCC. 14Support Vector Regression for Bus Travel Time Prediction Using Wavelet Transform显示文摘In order to accurately predict bus travel time, a hybrid model based on combining wavelet transform technique with support vector regression(WT-SVR) model is employed. In this model, wavelet decomposition is used to extract important information of data at different levels and enhances the forecasting ability of the model. After wavelet transform different components are forecasted by their corresponding SVR predictors. The final prediction result is obtained by the summation of the predicted results for each component. The proposed hybrid model is examined by the data of bus route No.550 in Nanjing, China. The performance of WT-SVR model is evaluated by mean absolute error(MAE), mean absolute percent error(MAPE) and relative mean square error(RMSE), and also compared to regular SVR and ANN models. The results show that the prediction method based on wavelet transform and SVR has better tracking ability and dynamic behavior than regular SVR and ANN models.
