1Ore-forming Fluid and Metallogenic Mechanism of Wolframite-Quartz Vein-type Tungsten Deposits in South China显示文摘South China is endowed with copious wolframite-quartz vein-type W deposits that provide a significant contribution to the world‘s tungsten production.Mineralization is spatially associated with highly evolved granites,which have been interpreted as products of ancient crustal anatexis.Ore veins are mainly hosted in low-grade metamorphosed quartz sandstone,slate and granitic rocks.The ore minerals mainly comprise wolframite,cassiterite,scheelite and pyrite,with minor molybdenite,arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite.Typical steeply dipping veins can be divided into five zones from top to the bottom,namely:(Ⅰ)thread,(Ⅱ)veinlet,(Ⅲ)moderate vein,(Ⅳ)thick vein,and(Ⅴ)thin out zones.In general,three types of fluid inclusions at room temperature are commonly recognized in wolframite and/or quartz from these veins:two-phase liquid-rich(type L),two-phase CO2-bearing(type CB),and CO2-rich(type C).Comparative microthermometry performed on fluid inclusions hosted in wolframite and associated quartz indicates that most wolframite was not coprecipitated with the coexisting quartz.Detailed petrographic observation and cathodoluminescence(CL)imaging on coexisting wolframite and quartz of the Yaogangxian deposit,show repeated precipitation of quartz,wolframite,and muscovite,suggesting a more complex fluid process forming these veins.Previous studies of H-O isotopes and fluid inclusions suggested that the main ore-forming fluids forming the wolframite-quartz vein-type deposits had a magmatic source,whereas an unresolved debate is centered on whether mantle material supplemented the ore-forming fluids.The variable CO2 contents in the ore-forming fluids also implies that CO2 might have had a positive effect on ore formation.Fluid inclusion studies indicate that wolframite was most likely deposited during cooling from an initial H2 O+Na Cl±CO2 magmatic fluid.In addition,fluid-phase separation and/or mixing with sedimentary fluid might also have played an important role in promoting wolframite deposition.We speculate that these processes determine the precipitation of W to varying degrees whereas the leading mechanistic cause remains an open question.Comprehensive studies on spatial variation of fluid inclusions show that both the steeply and gently dipping veins are consistent with the'five floors'model that may have broader applications to exploration of wolframite-quartz vein-type deposits.Recent quantitative analysis of wolframite-and quartz-hosted fluid inclusions by laser ablation inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry shows enhanced advantages in revealing fluid evolution,tracing the fluid source and dissecting the ore precipitation process.Further studies on wolframite-quartz vein-type W deposits to bring a deeper understanding on ore-forming fluids and the metallogenic mechanism involved.NI Pei LI Wensheng PAN Junyi 2020Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6:5
2Differential SW16.1 allelic effects and genetic backgrounds contributed to increased seed weight after soybean domestication显示文摘Although seed weight has increased following domestication from wild soybean(Glycine soja) to cultivated soybean(Glycine max), the genetic basis underlying this change is unclear. Using mapping populations derived from chromosome segment substitution lines of wild soybean, we identified SW16.1 as the causative gene underlying a major quantitative trait locus controlling seed weight.SW16.1 encodes a nucleus-localized LIM domaincontaining protein. Importantly, the GsSW16.1 allele from wild soybean accession N24852 had a negative effect on seed weight, whereas the GmSW16.1 allele from cultivar NN1138-2 had a positive effect. Gene expression network analysis,reverse-transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and promoter-luciferase reporter transient expression assays suggested that SW16.1 regulates the transcription of MT4, a positive regulator of seed weight. The natural variations in SW16.1 and other known seed weight genes were analyzed in soybean germplasm. The SW16.1 polymorphism was associated with seed weight in 247 soybean accessions, showing much higher frequency of positive-effect alleles in cultivated soybean than in wild soybean. Interestingly,gene allele matrix analysis of the known seed weight genes revealed that G. max has lost 38.5%of the G. soja alleles and that most of the lost alleles had negative effects on seed weight. 3Raman Micro-Spectroscopic Study of Sulfate Ion in the System Na_2SO_4-H_2O显示文摘This work aims to quantify sulfate ion concentrations in the system Na_2SO_4-H_2O using Raman micro-spectroscopy.Raman spectra of sodium sulfate solutions with known concentrations were collected at ambient temperature(293 K) and in the 500 cm^(_1)-4000 cm^(-1) spectral region.The results indicate that the intensity of the SO_4^(2-) band increases with increasing concentrations of sulfate ion.A linear correlation was found between the concentration of SO_4^(2-)(c) and parameter I_1,which represents the ratio of the area of the SO_4^(2-) band to that of the O-H stretching band of water(A_s/A_w):I_1=-0.00102+0.01538 c.Furthermore,we deconvoluted the O-H stretching band of water(2800 cm^(-1)-3800 cm^(-1)) at 3232 and 3430 cm^(-1) into two sub-Gaussian bands,and then defined Raman intensity of the two sub-bands as A_(Bi)(3232 cm^(-1)) and A_(B2)(3430 cm^(-1)),defined the full width of half maximum(FWHM) of the two sub-bands as W_(B1)(3232 cm^(-1)) and W_(B2)(3430 cm^(-1)).A linear correlation between the concentration of SO_4^(2-)(c) and parameter I_2,which represents the ratio of Raman intensity of SO_4^(2-)(A_s)(in 981 cm^(-1)) to(A_(B1)+A_(B2)),was also established:I_2=-0.0111+0.3653 c.However,no correlations were found between concentration of SO_4^(2-)(c) and FWHM ratios,which includes the ratio of FWHM of SO_4^(2-)(W_s) to W_(B1) W_(B2) and W_(B1+B2)(the sum of W_(B1) and W_(B2)),suggesting that FWHM is not suitable for quantitative studies of sulfate solutions with Raman spectroscopy.A comparison of Raman spectroscopic studies of mixed Na_2SO_4 and NaCI solutions with a constant SO_4^(2-) concentration and variable CI^- concentrations suggest that the I\ parameter is affected by CI^-,whereas the I_2 parameter was not.Therefore,even if the solution is not purely Na_2SO_4-H_2O,SO_4^(2-) concentrations can still be calculated from the Raman spectra if the H_2O band is deconvoluted into two sub-bands,making this method potentially applicable to analysis of natural fluid inclusions.ZHU Dongliang ZHU Ziang PAN Junyi DING Junying NI Pei 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3:1
4Outcomes of Self-Expanding Transcatheter Pulmonary Valves:Extended Follow-Up of a Prospective Trial显示文摘Background:The Venus-P valve was the first self-expanding valve used world-wide for transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement(TPVR)in patients with severe pulmonary regurgitation(PR).We intended to report the extended follow-up results from the prospective trial(No.NCT02590679).Methods:A total of 38 patients with severe PR(mean age 24.2±13.2)were included.Follow-up data were obtained after implanted at 1,6,and 12 months and yearly after.The frame geometry was assessed on post-implant computer tomography(CT)scanning by calculating the non-circularity[circularity ratio(minimum diameter/maximum diameter)<0.9]and under-expansion[expansion ratio(derived external valve area/nominal external valve area)<0.9).Adverse events(all-cause mortality,reintervention,valve dysfunction,stent fracture and endocarditis)were recorded.Results:All valves were implanted successfully with normal function at discharge.Geometric CT analysis showed underexpanded valve was detected in 22 patients(63%)and non-circular valve was seen in 16 patients(46%).During a median follow-up of 4.8 years(range 0.3-8.1),there were 1 death and 1 surgical explant,both resulting from endocarditis.Five-year freedom from valve dysfunction and stent fracture were 84.8%(95%CI 74.8-94.7)and 83.5%(95%CI 73.8-93.2).Endocarditis occurred in 3 patients at a median time of 7 months.Stent fracture was more common in patients with non-circularity stents.Conclusion:TPVR using Venus-P valve is associated with favorable outcomes at 5 years.Non-circular shapes in the valve level may have a higher risk of stent fracture.Jingnan Zhang Junyi Wan Yihang Li Yu Han Jiahua Pan Fang Fang Shiliang Jiang Xiangbin Pan Gejun Zhang 2023Congenital Heart Disease2023,18,2:0
5Orientational Chirality,Its Asymmetric Control,and Computational Study显示文摘Orientational chirality was discovered and characterized by a C(sp)-C(sp3)axis-anchored chiral center and a remotely anchored blocker.X-ray structural analysis proved that orientatiomers are stabilized by through-space functional groups,making it possible for 1 R-or S-chiral center to exhibit 3 orientational isomers simply by rotating operations.A new model system was proposed,fundamentally different from the traditional Felkin-Ahn-type or Cram-type models.In these traditional models,chiral C(sp^(3))center and blocking C(sp^(3))carbons are connected adjacently,and there exist 6 energy barriers during rotating along the C(sp^(2))-C(sp^(3))axis.In comparison,the present orientational chirality model shows that a chiral C(sp)-C(sp^(3))carbon is remotely located from a blocking group.Thus,it is focused on the steric dialog between a chiral C(sp^(3))center and a remotely anchored functional group.There exist 3 energy barriers for either(R)-or(S)-C(sp)-C(sp^(3))stereogenicity in the new model.Chiral amide auxiliary was proven to be an excellent chiral auxiliary in controlling rotations of orientatiomers to give complete stereoselectivity.The asymmetric synthesis of individual orientatiomers was conducted via multistep synthesis by taking advantage of the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling and Sonogashira coupling reactions.Density functional theory computational study presented optimized conformers and relative energies for individual orientatiomers.This discovery would be anticipated to result in a new stereochemistry topic and have a broad impact on chemical,biomedical,and material sciences in the future.Shengzhou Jin Yu Wang Yao Tang Jia-Yin Wang Ting Xu Junyi Pan Sai Zhang Qiankai Yuan Anis Ur Rahman James D.McDonald Guo-Qiang Wang Shuhua Li Guigen Li 2023Research2023,,1:0

7Genome-wide association with transcriptomics reveals a shade-tolerance gene network in soybean显示文摘Shade tolerance is essential for soybeans in inter/relay cropping systems.A genome-wide association study(GWAS)integrated with transcriptome sequencing was performed to identify genes and construct a genetic network governing the trait in a set of recombinant inbred lines derived from two soybean parents with contrasting shade tolerance.An improved GWAS procedure,restricted two-stage multi-locus genome-wide association study based on gene/allele sequence markers(GASM-RTM-GWAS),identified 140 genes and their alleles associated with shade-tolerance index(STI),146 with relative pith cell length(RCL),and nine with both.Annotation of these genes by biological categories allowed the construction of a protein–protein interaction network by 187 genes,of which half were differentially expressed under shading and non-shading conditions as well as at different growth stages.From the identified genes,three ones jointly identified for both traits by both GWAS and transcriptome and two genes with maximum links were chosen as beginners for entrance into the network.Altogether,both STI and RCL gene systems worked for shade-tolerance with genes interacted each other,this confirmed that shadetolerance is regulated by more than single group of interacted genes,involving multiple biological functions as a gene network.Yanzhu Su Xiaoshuai Hao Weiying Zeng Zhenguang Lai Yongpeng Pan Can Wang Pengfei Guo Zhipeng Zhang Jianbo He Guangnan Xing Wubin Wang Jiaoping Zhang Zudong Sun Junyi Gai 2024The Crop Journal2024,12,1:0
