2Self-supported high-entropy alloy electrocatalyst for highly efficient H_(2) evolution in acid condition显示文摘Developing non-precious catalysts as Pt substitutes for electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)with superior stability in acidic electrolyte is of critical importance for large-scale,low-cost hydrogen production from water.Herein,we report a CoCrFeNiAl high-entropy alloy(HEA)electrocatalyst with self-supported structure synthesized by mechanical alloying and spark plasma sintering(SPS)consolidation.The HEA after HF treatment and in situ electrochemical activation for 4000 cycles of cyclic voltammetry(HF-HEAa2)presents favourable activity with overpotential of 73 mV to reach a current density of 10 mA cm^(2) and a Tafel slope of 39.7 mV dec1.The alloy effect of Al/Cr with Co/Fe/Ni at atomic level,high-temperature crystallization,as well as consolidation by SPS endow CoCrFeNiAl HEA with high stability in 0.5 M H2SO4 solution.The superior performance of HF-HEAa2 is related with the presence of metal hydroxides/oxides groups on HEA.Peiyan Ma Mingming Zhao Long Zhang Heng Wang Junfeng Gu Yuchen Sun Wei Ji Zhengyi Fu 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,4:8
3Ability of multicellular salt glands in Tamarix species to secrete Na^+ and K^+ selectively显示文摘The present study aimed to determine the mechanism of cation-selective secretion by multicellular salt glands.Using a hydroponic culture system,the secretion and accumulation of Na+ and K+ in Tamarix ramosissima and T.laxa under different salt stresses (NaCl,KCl and NaCl+KCl) were studied.Additionally,the effects of salt gland inhibitors (orthovanadate,Ba2+,ouabain,tetraethylammonium (TEA) and verapamil) on Na+ and K+ secretion and accumulation were examined.Treatment with NaCl (at 0-200 mmol L 1 levels) significantly increased Na+ secretion,whereas KCl treatment (at 0-200 mmol L 1 levels) significantly increased K+ secretion.The ratio of secretion to accumulation of Na+ was higher than that of K+.The changes in Na+ and K+ secretion differed after adding different ions into the single-salt solutions.Addition of NaCl to the KCl solution (at 100 mmol L 1 level,respectively) led to a significant decrease in K+ secretion rate,whereas addition of KCl to the NaCl solution (at 100 mmol L 1 level,respectively) had little impact on the Na+ secretion rate.These results indicated that Na+ secretion in Tamarix was highly selective.In addition,Na+ secretion was significantly inhibited by orthovanadate,ouabain,TEA and verapamil,and K+ secretion was significantly inhibited by ouabain,TEA and verapamil.The different impacts of orthovanadate on Na+ and K+ secretion might be the primary cause for the different Na+ and K+ secretion abilities of multicellular salt glands in Tamarix.MA HaiYan TIAN ChangYan FENG Gu YUAN JunFeng 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,3:7

5Depositional characteristics and petroleum geological significance of wetland显示文摘Wetland is a new type of sedimentary facies proposed for the first time in this paper.It is a type of sedimentary environment,transitional between land facies and water(sea or lake) facies.In this paper,wetland is redefined as 'a type of sedimentary environments whose ground surface is flat and wet throughout the year,which may be covered with very shallow water(less than 2 m deep),and is covered with lush plant growth'.Wetland is reclassified into two types,swamp wetland(swamp in brief) and wet plain wetland(wet plain in brief).Swamp deposits are coal,while wet plain deposits are dark colored mudstones or silty mudstones rich in plant fossils and carbon debris.The deposits of wet plain are different from those of lake and floodplain in the abundance of plant fossils,color,resistivity well logging curve,and other sedimentary characteristics.In boreholes,resistivity logging can be used to distinguish between wet plain mudstones and lake mudstones.Understanding the sedimentary characteristics of wet plain wetland can help to identify wet plain deposits which were formerly classified as floodplain or lake deposits.This will help to reconstruct the palaeogeography and to understand the history of basin and climate evolution accurately,and is especially important in evaluation of the hydrocarbon generating potential of a basin.With the Jurassic Sangonghe Formation of the Yanqi Basin as an example,the identification characteristics of wetland are described.Jin Zhenkui Gu Junfeng Su Nina Wang Zhaofeng Huang Xiaoping 2009Petroleum Science2009,6,4:5
6Braided river and distribution patterns of sand bodies of Jurassic Badaowan formation in Block T13 of Junggar basin显示文摘In order to determine the planar and volume distribution of sand bodies of the Jurassic Badaowan formation in Block T13 of Junggar basin,we used analysis of field outcrop and 3D seismic data,which play an essential role in areas of sparse well coverage.We describe sedimentary facies characteristics,sand body planforms,width and connectivity patterns of sand bodies,and vertical associations and successions by acoustic impedance inversion technology and sedimentological theory.Results of our study show braided fluvial strata deposits in the Jurassic Badaowan formation.Each sand body is approximately lenticular in shape.The width of each sand body falls in the range 100~800 m,with most between 200 and 400 m.The sand bodies vary in thickness from 4 to 13 m,with most below 9 m.The width/thickness ratios lie in the range 20~55.The connectivity of braided fluvial channel sand bodies is controlled by changes of accommodation space.One fining-upward sedimentary cycle of base-level rise is recognized in Badaowan formation,representing an upward rise of base level.The connectivity of sand bodies was found to be greatest in the early stage of base-level rise,becoming progressively worse with increasing base-level rise.SUN Xiaofang JIN Zhenkui WANG Zhaofeng HUANG Xiaoping GU Junfeng 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,3:4
7Spatial distribution of supraglacial debris thickness on glaciers of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and surroundings显示文摘Debris-covered glaciers,characterized by the presence of supraglacial debris mantles in their ablation zones,are widespread in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC)and surroundings.For these glaciers,thin debris layers accelerate the melting of underlying ice compared to that of bare ice,while thick debris layers retard ice melting,called debriscover effect.Knowledge about the thickness and thermal properties of debris cover on CPEC glaciers is still unclear,making it difficult to assess the regional debris-cover effect.In this study,thermal resistance of the debris layer estimated from remotely sensed data reveals that about 54.0%of CPEC glaciers are debris-covered glaciers,on which the total debris-covered area is about 5,072 km2,accounting for 14.0%of the total glacier area of the study region.We find that marked difference in the extent and thickness of debris cover is apparent from region to region,as well as the debris-cover effect.53.3%of the total debris-covered area of the study region is concentrated in Karakoram,followed by Pamir with 30.2%of the total debris-covered area.As revealed by the thermal resistance,the debris thickness is thick in Hindu Kush on average,with the mean thermal resistance of 7.0×10^-2((m^2∙K)/W),followed by Karakoram,while the thickness in western Himalaya is thin with the mean value of 2.0×10^-2((m^2∙K)/W).Our findings provide a basis for better assessments of changes in debriscovered glaciers and their associated hydrological impacts in the CPEC and surroundings.YaJie Zheng Yong Zhang Ju Gu Xin Wang ZongLi Jiang JunFeng Wei 2020Research in Cold and Arid Regions2020,12,6:2
8Reactive sintering of B4C-TaB2 ceramics via carbide boronizing:Reaction process, microstructure and mechanical properties显示文摘Carbide boronizing is a promising approach to obtain fine grained boron carbide based ceramics with improved mechanical properties. In this work, reaction process, microstructural characteristics and mechanical properties of BxC-TaB2(x = 3.7, 4.9, 7.1) ceramics were comprehensively investigated via this method. Dense BxC-TaB2 ceramics with refined microstructure were obtained from submicro tantalum carbide and boron powder mixtures at 1800℃/50 MPa/5 min by spark plasma sintering. The stoichiometry of boron carbide was determined from lattice parameters and Raman shift. It was found that uniformly distributed TaB2 grains in the BxC matrix is favor of the densification process and restricting grain growth.Besides, planar defects with high density were observed from the as-formed B7.1 C grains and transient stress was considered to contribute to the densification involved with plastic deformation. Microstructural observations indicate the dissolution of oxygen in the TaB2 lattice and most of the B7.1 C/TaB2 phase boundaries were clean. 10Strontium-incorporated bioceramic scaffolds for enhanced osteoporosis bone regeneration显示文摘The restoration of bone defects caused by osteoporosis remains a challenge for surgeons.Strontium ranelate has been applied in preventative treatment approaches due to the biological functions of the trace element strontium(Sr).In this study,we aimed to fabricate bioactive scaffolds through Sr incorporation based on our previously developed modified amino-functional mesoporous bioactive glass(MBG)and to systematically investigate the bioactivity of the resulting scaffold in vitro and in vivo in an osteoporotic rat model.The results suggested that Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds possessed favorable biocompatibility.Moreover,with the incorporation of Sr,osteogenic and angiogenic capacities were upregulated in vitro.The in vivo results showed that the Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds achieved better bone regeneration and vessel formation.Furthermore,bioinformatics analysis indicated that the Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds could reduce reactive oxygen species levels in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in the osteoporotic model by activating the cAMP/PKA signaling pathway,thus playing an anti-osteoporosis role while promoting osteogenesis.This study demonstrated the feasibility of incorporating trace elements into scaffolds and provided new insights into biomaterial design for facilitating bone regeneration in the treatment of osteoporosis.Qianju Wu Longwei Hu Ran Yan Junfeng Shi Hao Gu Yuwei Deng Ruixue Jiang Jin Wen Xinquan Jiang 2022Bone Research2022,10,4:1

12Paclitaxel liposome for injection (Lipusu) plus cisplatin versus gemcitabine plus cisplatin in the first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic lung squamous cell carcinoma: A multicenter, randomized, open-label, parallel controlled clinical study显示文摘Background:Lipusu is the first commercialized liposomal formulation of pacli-taxel and has demonstrated promising efficacy against locally advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC)in a small-scale study.Here,we conducted a multicenter,randomized,phase 3 study to compare the efficacy and safety of cis-platin plus Lipusu(LP)versus cisplatin plus gemcitabine(GP)as first-line treat-ment in locally advanced or metastatic LSCC.Methods:Patients enrolled were aged between 18 to 75 years,had locally advanced(clinical stage IIIB,ineligible for concurrent chemoradiation or surgery)or metastatic(Stage IV)LSCC,had no previous systemic chemother-apy and at least one measurable lesion as per the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(version 1.1)before administration of the trial drug.The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS).The secondary endpoints included objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),overall survival(OS),and safety profiles.To explore the possible predictive value of plasma cytokines for LP treatment,plasma samples were collected from the LP group at baseline and first efficacy evaluation time and were then subjected to analysis by 45-Plex ProcartaPlex Panel 1 to detect the presence of 45 cytokines using the Luminex xMAP technology.The correlation between treatment outcomes and dynamic changes in the levels of cytokines were evaluated in preliminary analyses.Results:The median duration of follow-up was 15.4 months.237 patients in the LP group and 253 patients in the GP group were included in the per protocol set(PPS).In the PPS,the median PFS was 5.2 months versus 5.5 months in the LP and GP group(hazard rtio[HR]:1.03,P=0.742)respectively.The median OS was 14.6 months versus 12.5 months in the LP and GP group(HR:0.83,P=0.215).The ORR(41.8%versus 45.9%,P=0.412)and DCR(90.3%versus 88.1%,P=0.443)were also similar between the LP and GP group.A significantly lower proportion of patients in the LP group experienced adverse events(AEs)leading to treatment interruptions(10.9%versus 26.4%,P<0.001)or treatment termination(14.3%versus 23.1%,P=0.011).The analysis of cytokine levels in the LP group showed that low baseline levels of 27 cytokines were associated with an increased ORR,and 15 cytokines were associated with improved PFS,with 14 cytokines,including TNF-a,IFN-y,IL-6,and IL-8,demonstrating an overlapping trend.Conclusion:The LP regimen demonstrated similar PFS,OS,ORR and DCR as the GP regimen for patients with locally advanced or metastatic LSCC but had more favorable toxicity profiles.The study also identified a spectrum of different cytokines that could be potentially associated with the clinical benefit in patients who received the LP regimen.Jie Zhang Yueyin Pan Qin Shi Guojun Zhang Liyan Jiang Xiaorong Dong Kangsheng Gu Huijuan Wang Xiaochun Zhang Nong Yang Yuping Li Jianping Xiong Tienan Yi Min Peng Yong Song Yun Fan Jiuwei Cui Gongyan Chen Wei Tan Aimin Zang Qisen Guo Guangqiang Zhao Ziping Wang Jianxing He Wenxiu Yao Xiaohong Wu Kai Chen Xiaohua Hu Chunhong Hu Lu Yue Da Jiang Guangfa Wang Junfeng Liu Guohua Yu Junling Li Jianling Bai Wenmin Xie Weihong Zhao Lihong Wu Caicun Zhou 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,1:1

14The nearest neutron star candidate in a binary revealed by optical time-domain surveys显示文摘The near-Earth(within~100 pc)supernova explosions in the past several million years can cause the global deposition of radioactive elements(e.g.,60Fe)on Earth.The remnants of such supernovae are too old to be easily identified.It is therefore of great interest to search for million-year-old near-Earth neutron stars or black holes,the products of supernovae.However,neutron stars and black holes are challenging to find even in our Solar neighbourhood if they are not radio pulsars or X-ray/γ-ray emitters.Here we report the discovery of one of the nearest(127.7±0.3 pc)neutron star candidates in a detached single-lined spectroscopic binary LAMOST J235456.73+335625.9(hereafter J2354).Utilizing the time-resolved ground-based spectroscopy and space photometry,we find that J2354 hosts an unseen compact object with M_(inv)being 1.4-1.6 M_(⊙).The follow-up Swift ultraviolet(UV)and X-ray observations suggest that the UV and X-ray emission is produced by the visible star rather than the compact object.Hence,J2354 probably harbours a neutron star rather than a hot ultramassive white dwarf.Two-hour exceptionally sensitive radio follow-up observations with Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope fail to reveal any pulsating radio signals at the 6σflux upper limit of 12.5μJy.Therefore,the neutron star candidate in J2354 can only be revealed via our time-resolved observations.Interestingly,the distance between J2354 and our Earth can be as close as~50 pc around 2.5 million years(Myrs)ago,as revealed by the Gaia kinematics.Our discovery demonstrates a promising way to unveil the hidden near-Earth neutron stars in binaries by exploring the optical time domain,thereby facilitating understanding of the metal-enrichment history in our Solar neighbourhood.Ling-Lin Zheng Mouyuan Sun Wei-Min Gu Tuan Yi Zhi-Xiang Zhang Pei Wang Junfeng Wang Jianfeng Wu Shan-Shan Weng Song Wang Sen-Yu Qi Jia Zhang Chun-Qian Li Jian-Rong Shi Yong Shao Xiang-Dong Li Jin-Bo Fu Fan Yang Zhongrui Bai Yu Bai Haotong Zhang Jifeng Liu 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,12:0
15Anti-fatigue Effect of L-arginine Complex Preparation on Mice显示文摘Objective:To investigate the anti-fatigue effect of L-arginine complex preparation on mice.Methods:The experimental mice were divided into a blank group,low dose group,medium dose group and high dose group.L-arginine complex preparation mice were intragastrically administered for 30 days,and the mice were tested for exhaustive swimming time.At the same time,contents of plasma lactic acid,lactate dehydrogenase,urea nitrogen and hepatic glycogen were measured.Results:Compared with the blank control group,the weight-bearing swimming time and hypoxia-tolerant survival time of the low,middle and high dose groups was significantly increased(P<0.05).Whereas,the serum urea nitrogen levels and lactose content were significantly decreased(P<0.05).However,compared with the blank control group,the liver glycogen content of the middle and high dose groups was increased significantly(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the low dose group.Conclusion:The L-arginine complex preparation has an anti-fatigue function in mice.Qian Tan Xiaodong Dong Junfeng Zhai Yaxian Gu Honghui Hao Wen Ren Chuanbao Gong Chengqiang Yin 2019Proceedings of Anticancer Research2019,3,1:0
16Effects of sodium on nitrate uptake and osmotic adjustment of Suaeda physophora显示文摘Na+ ions play an important role in the growth of halophyte. The effect of Na+ ions on nitrate uptake and osmotic adjustment in the euhalophyte Suaeda physophora was investigated under glasshouse conditions. Seedlings were exposed to 1 mmol/L NaCl (control),300 mmol/L NaCl,150 mmol/L NaCl plus 150 mmol/L KCl or 300 mmol/L KCl treatments for 24 d. Dry weight was not affected greatly by different salt treatments,but water content and succulence in leaves of S. physophora were significantly increased at 300 mmol/L NaCl and 150 mmol/L NaCl plus 150 mmol/L KCl treatments. The concentrations of Na+ and NO3' in leaves of S. physophora were the highest at 150 mmol/L NaCl plus 150 mmol/L KCl,but lowest at 300 mmol/L KCl treatment. Moreover,the increase of NO3' concentration did not result in the decrease of Cl-concentration at 150 mmol/L NaCl plus 150 mmol/L KCl treatments. The estimated contribution of NO3' to osmotic potential (CNO3) in leaves of S. physophora was 9.8% at 150 mmol/L NaCl plus 150 mmol/L KCl,and CNa and CCl were 31.0% and 23.3%,respectively. However,CNO3,CNa and CCl were respectively 1.6%,7.9% and 11.9% at 300 mmol/L KCl treatment. It is concluded that Na+ stimulates NO3' absorption and the stimulation is independent on the internal or the external Cl-concentration in the euhalophyte S. physo-phora. The results showed that when 60% of humic acid was added to the distiller's grain substrate made from coarse distiller's grains,fine distiller's grains,perlite and vermiculite,both the pH and electrical conductivity decreased significantly and were similar to that of the conventional substrate. 18Exploration of the mechanism of cavitation vortex rope and vortex development in the draft tube of tubular turbine units显示文摘Draft tube vortex rope is considered a special cavitation flow phenomenon in tubular turbine units.Cavitation vortex rope is one of the most detrimental factors affecting the safety of hydraulic turbines.In this study,ANSYS CFX software was utilized to numerically simulate the internal cavitation flow of a hydraulic turbine draft tube.The evolution of the cavitation vortex core was characterized by vortex line distribution and vorticity transport equation.The shape and number of blades influenced the revolving direction and distribution characteristics of the vortex close to the runner cone,which formed a counterclockwise-clockwise-counterclockwise distribution pattern.Simultaneously,there were many secondary flows in the draft tube.Mutual cancellation and dissipation between the flows was one of the reasons for reduction in vorticity.When the cross-sectional shape of the draft tube was changed,the vorticity was distributed from the center of the vortex rope to all parts of the cross-sectional draft tube,with extreme values at the center and at the walls.The vortex stretching and dilatation terms played a major role in the change in vorticity,with the baroclinic torque having an effect at the center of the vortex rope,this study is helpful to understand the flow of water in the draft tube and guide the design and optimization of the draft tube in engineering application.Chuang Cheng Zhenggui Li Changrong Shen Shenglong Gu Chuchu Zeng Chuanzheng Bai Meng Liu Junfeng Hu 2024International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2024,17,1:0
