1The Sunway TaihuLight supercomputer: system and applications显示文摘The Sunway Taihu Light supercomputer is the world's first system with a peak performance greater than 100 PFlops. In this paper, we provide a detailed introduction to the Taihu Light system. In contrast with other existing heterogeneous supercomputers, which include both CPU processors and PCIe-connected many-core accelerators(NVIDIA GPU or Intel Xeon Phi), the computing power of Taihu Light is provided by a homegrown many-core SW26010 CPU that includes both the management processing elements(MPEs)and computing processing elements(CPEs) in one chip. With 260 processing elements in one CPU, a single SW26010 provides a peak performance of over three TFlops. To alleviate the memory bandwidth bottleneck in most applications, each CPE comes with a scratch pad memory, which serves as a user-controlled cache. To support the parallelization of programs on the new many-core architecture, in addition to the basic C/C++and Fortran compilers, the system provides a customized Sunway Open ACC tool that supports the Open ACC2.0 syntax. 3Photodegradation of hydroxyfluorenes in ice and water: A comparison of kinetics, effects of water constituents, and phototransformation by-products显示文摘The photochemical behavior of organic pollutants in ice is poorly studied in comparison to aqueous photochemistry.Here we report a detailed comparison of ice and aqueous photodegradation of two representative OH-PAHs,2-hydroxyfluorene(2-OHFL)and 9-hydroxyfluorene(9-OHFL),which are newly recognized contaminants in the wider environment including colder regions.Interestingly,their photodegradation kinetics were clearly influenced by whether they reside in ice or water.Under the same simulated solar irradiation(λ>290 nm),OHFLs photodegraded faster in ice than in equivalent aqueous solutions and this was attributed to the specific concentration effect caused by freezing.Furthermore,the presence of dissolved constituents in ice also influenced photodegradation with 2-OHFL phototransforming the fastest in‘seawater’ice(k=(11.4±1.0)×10^(−2) min^(−1))followed by‘pure-water’ice((8.7±0.4)×10^(−2) min^(−1))and‘freshwater’ice((8.0±0.7)×10^(−2) min^(−1)).The presence of dissolved constituents(specifically Cl^(−),NO_(3)^(−),Fe(Ⅲ)and humic acid)influences the phototransformation kinetics,either enhancing or suppressing phototransformation,but this is based on the quantity of the constituent present in the matrixes,the specific OHFL isomer and the matrix type(e.g.,ice or aqueous solution).Careful derivation of key photointermediates was undertaken in both ice and water samples using tandem mass spectrometry.Ice phototransformation exhibited fewer by-products and‘simpler’pathways giving rise to a range of hydroxylated fluorenes and hydroxylated fluorenones in ice.These results are of importance when considering the fate of PAHs and OH-PAHs in cold regions and their persistence in sunlit ice.Linke Ge Shengkai Cao Crispin Halsall Junfeng Niu Dongxiao Bai Guangkai He Peng Zhang Hongrui Ma 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2:2

5Enhanced valley splitting of WSe_(2)in twisted van der Waals WSe_(2)/CrI_(3)heterostructures显示文摘Van der Waals(vdW)heterostructures composed of different two-dimensional(2D)materials offer an easily accessible way to combine properties of individual materials for applications.Owing to the discovery of a set of unanticipated physical phenomena,the twisted 2D vdW heterostructures have gained considerable attention recently.Here,we report enhanced valley splitting in twisted 2D vdW WSe_(2)/CrI_(3)heterostructures.In particular,the splitting can be 1200%(or 5.18 meV)of the value for a non-twisted heterostructure.According to the k·p model,this value is equivalent to a~20 T external magnetic field applied perpendicular to the 2D sheet.The thermodynamic stability of 2D vdW WSe_(2)/CrI_(3)heterostructures,on the other hand,depends linearly on the interlayer twisting angle.Mei Ge Han Wang Jizheng Wu Chen Si Junfeng Zhang Shengbai Zhang 2022npj Computational Materials2022,,1:1

9Gas Phase Hydrogenated and Deuterated Fullerene Cations显示文摘H/D accretion,especially onto ionized fullerenes,is expected to be very efficient in space.In this work,we study hydrogenated and deuterated fullerene cations and their photodissociation behavior in the gas phase.The experimental results show that hydrogenated fullerene cations(i.e.,[C_(60)H_(n)]^(+)and[C_(70)H_(n)]^(+),n up to 30)and deuterated fullerene cations(i.e.,[C_(60)D_(n)]^(+)and[C_(70)D_(n)]^(+),n up to 21)are formed efficiently through the ion-atom collision reaction pathway.Upon irradiation,the hydrogenated and deuterated fullerene cations dissociate into fullerene cations and H/H_(2)or D/D_(2)species.The structures of the newly formed hydrogenated and deuterated fullerene cations(C_(58)and C_(60))and the bonding energies for these reaction pathways are investigated by means of quantum chemical calculations.The competition between hydrogenation and dehydrogenation is confirmed,and the hydrogenation-to-dehydrogenation ratio in the accretion processes in the gas phase is determined.We infer that the proportion of accreted hydrogen and deuterium atoms on the surface of fullerenes is similar to that of hydrogen and deuterium atoms in the interstellar environment where these fullerenes are located,especially when the interstellar environments are similar to our experimental conditions,i.e.,the hot environment.Xiaoyi Hu Zhenru Dong Yanan Ge Jia Liu Yang Chen Junfeng Zhen Liping Qin 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,8:0
101.5-m flat imaging system aligned and phased in real time显示文摘Flat optics has been considered promising for constructions of spaceborne imaging systems with apertures in excess of 10 m.Despite recent advances,there are long-existing challenges to perform in-phase stitching of multiple flat optical elements.Phasing the segmented planar instrument has remained at the proof of concept.Here,we achieve autonomous system-level cophasing of a 1.5-m stitching flat device,bridging the gap between the concept and engineering implementation.To do so,we propose a flat element stitching scheme,by manipulating the point spread function,which enables our demonstration of automatically bringing seven flat segments'tip/tilt and piston errors within the tolerance.With phasing done,the 1.5-m system has become the largest phased planar instrument ever built in the world,to our knowledge.The first demonstration of phasing the large practical flat imaging system marks a significant step towards fielding a 10-m class one in space,also paving the way for ultrathin flat imaging in various remote applications.ZONGLIANG XIE KAIYUAN YANG YANG LIU TIANRONG XU BOTAO CHEN XIAFEI MA YONG RUAN HAOTONG MA JUNFENG DU JIANG BIAN DUN LIU LIHUA WANG TAO TANG JIAWEI YUAN GE REN BO QI HU YANG 2023Photonics Research2023,11,7:0

13Memristive switching in two-dimensional BiSe crystals显示文摘In spite of the explosive rise of research on memristive switching,more improvements in tunability,versatility,and hetero-integration are required through the discovery and application of novel materials.Herein,we report resistance switching in nano-thick two-dimensional(2D)crystals of bismuth selenium(BiSe).The BiSe devices exhibit nonvolatile bipolar resistance switching,volatile switching,and electrical bistable behavior in different conditions.The different memristive behavior of BiSe devices may be related to the concentration of Bi ions in this Bi-rich structure,which directly affects the capability of filaments forming.Furthermore,the external mechanical strain is applied in modulation of multi-layer BiSe devices.The memristive BiSe devices show a large on/off ratio of~10^(4)and retention time of~104 s.The discovery of memristive switching behavior in multi-layer BiSe is attributed to the forming of Bi filaments.The resistance switching behavior in multi-layer BiSe demonstrates the potential application in the flexible memories and functional integrated devices.Wenda Ma Junfeng Lu Shuaipeng Ge Li Zhang Fengchang Huang Naiwei Gao Peiguang Yan Caofeng Pan 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:0
14Observatory science with eXTP显示文摘In this White Paper we present the potential of the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry(eXTP) mission for studies related to Observatory Science targets. These include flaring stars, supernova remnants, accreting white dwarfs, low and high mass X-ray binaries, radio quiet and radio loud active galactic nuclei, tidal disruption events, and gamma-ray bursts. eXTP will be excellently suited to study one common aspect of these objects: their often transient nature. 15Fluorine-defects induced solid-state red emission of carbon dots with an excellent thermosensitivity显示文摘Up to date,solid-state carbon dots(CDs)with bright red fluorescence have scarcely achieved due to aggregation-caused quenching(ACQ)effect and extremely low quantum yield in deep-red to near infrared region.Here,we report a novel fluorine-defects induced solid-state red fluorescence(λ_(em)=676 nm,the absolute fluorescence quantum yields is 4.17%)in fluorine,nitrogen and sulfur co-doped CDs(F,N,S-CDs),which is the first report of such a long wavelength emission of solid-state CDs.As a control,CDs without fluorine-doping(N,S-CDs)show no fluorescence in solid-state,and the fluorescence quantum yield/emission wavelength of N,S-CDs in solution-state are also lower/shorter than that of F,N,S-CDs,which is mainly due to the F-induced defect traps on the surface/edge of F,N,S-CDs.Moreover,the solid-state F,N,S-CDs exhibit an interesting temperature-sensitive behavior in the range of 80-420 K,with the maximum fluorescence intensity at 120 K,unveiling its potential as the temperature-dependent fluorescent sensor and the solid-state light-emitting device adapted to multiple temperatures.Haizhen Ding Jiahui Xu Lei Jiang Chen Dong Qi Meng Sajid ur Rehman Junfeng Wang Zhishen Ge Vladimir Yu.Osipov Hong Bi 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11:0
