| 1 | Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of 06Cr13Ni4Mo Steel Treated by Quenching–Tempering–Partitioning Process显示文摘A heat treatment process,quenching-tempering-partitioning(Q-T-P),has been applied to a low carbon martensitic stainless steel 06Cr13Ni4 Mo.By using this process,ultrafine reversed austenite can be obtained at room temperature.The microstructures of the reversed austenite and the martensite matrix were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)in detail.The results show that the ultrafine reversed austenite is enriched in Ni resulting in the austenite stability at room temperature.Two new types of nano-scale carbide precipitates are found in the martensite matrix.Detailed analysis suggests that the two nano-scale precipitates can be identified asω phase and λ phase carbides,respectively.The orientation relationship between the ω phase and matrix is[011]α//[2110]ω and(211)α//(0110)ω,while that between the λ phase precipitate and matrix is[011]α//[0001]λ and(200)α//(1210)λ.For the present steel,the ultrafine reversed austenite and carbide precipitates obtained by Q-T-P treatment provide a good combination of high strength and toughness. | Yuanyuan Song Jingping Cui Lijian Rong | 2016 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,2: | 8 |

| 3 | Revisiting mesoscale eddy genesis mechanism of nonlinear advection in a marginal ice zone显示文摘A three-dimensional(3-D) ocean model is coupled with a two-dimensional(2-D) sea ice model, to revisit a nonlinear advection mechanism, one of the most important mesoscale eddy genesis mechanisms in the marginal ice zone. Two-dimensional ocean model simulations suggest nonlinear advection mechanism is more important when the water gets shallower. Instead of considering the ocean as barotropic fluid in the 2-D ocean model, the 3-D ocean model allows the sea ice to affect the current directly in the surface layer via ocean-ice interaction. It is found that both mesoscale eddy and sea surface elevation are sensitive to changes in a water depth in the 3-D simulations. The vertical profile of a current velocity in 3-D experiments suggests that when the water depth gets shallower, the current move faster in each layer, which makes the sea surface elevation be nearly inverse proportional to the water depth with the same wind forcing during the same time. It is also found that because of the vertical motion, the magnitude of variations in the sea surface elevation in the 3-D simulations is very small,being only 1% of the change in the 2-D simulations.
