1Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 2Influence of luteolin on the apoptosis of esophageal cancer Eca109 cells and its mechanism of action显示文摘The present study was conducted to verify the influence of luteolin on apoptosis of Eca109 cells and to further investigate the possible mechanisms underlying its effect on apoptosis.The cells were exposed to different concentrations of luteolin(0,40,80,120,160,200,240M)for 24,48,and 72 h respectively.The influence of luteolin on proliferation of Eca109 cells was detected using MTT assay.Eca109 cells were then treated with luteolin(0,40,160,240M)for 24 h.The effect of luteolin on cell cycle progression and apoptosis was assayed by using flow cytometry(FCM).Expression of caspase9 and caspase3 mRNA and protein was analyzed by real-time PCR and Western blot respectively.The results showed that luteolin could inhibit the proliferation of Eca109 cells at all concentrations in a time-dependent manner and the relative inhibition rate showed an inverted U-shaped association with the concentration of luteolin.Further,the cell cycle was arrested in the S phase following treatment with luteolin.Apoptosis analysis indicated that luteolin could induce the apoptosis of Eca109 cells across the three concentration groups,which exhibited a trend of first promotional and then inhibitory with the increases in luteolin concentration.The effect of luteolin on the mRNA and protein expression of caspase 9 and caspase3 first manifested as promotion,then inhibition.Therefore,luteolin may serve a role in promoting cell apoptosis by inducing Eca109 cell apoptosis that involves the expression of caspase3,caspase9 mRNA and protein.This study provides theoretical basis for further study and clinical application of luteolin.The specific mechanism has not yet been clarified and the other activation pathways inducing apoptosis need to be further studied.Shaokang Wang Lingmeng Fu Yi Wu Hongmei Xiao Jing Wang Guiju Sun 2019Food Science and Human Wellness2019,8,2:6
3Simultaneously Enhanced Cryogenic Tensile Strength,Ductility and Impact Resistance of Epoxy Resins by Polyethylene Glycol显示文摘Rubbers have been well accepted for modifying brittle epoxies but rubber modified epoxies usually posses lowered tensile strength though enhanced ductility and fracture resistance.In this work,a polyethylene glycol(PEG-4000) is used to modify diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A/methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride system for enhancing cryogenic tensile strength,ductility and impact resistance.The results display that the cryogenic tensile strength,ductility(failure strain) and fracture resistance(impact strength) are all enhanced for the modified epoxy system at proper PEG contents.The maximum tensile strength(127.8 MPa) at the cryogenic temperature(77 K) with an improvement of 30.1%is observed for the modified system with the 15 wt%PEG content.The ductility and impact resistance at both room temperature and cryogenic temperature are all improved for the modified epoxy system with proper PEG-4000 contents.These observations are explained by the positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy results and scanning electron microscopy results.Moreover,the glass transition temperature decreases slightly with increasing PEG content.Qingping Feng Jiaoping Yang Yu Liu Hongmei Xiao Shaoyun Fu 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,1:6
4Magnetic Fe_3O_4-Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposites-Based Electrochemical Biosensing显示文摘An electrochemical biosensing platform was developed based on glucose oxidase(GOx)/Fe3O4-reduced graphene oxide(Fe3O4-RGO) nanosheets loaded on the magnetic glassy carbon electrode(MGCE).With the advantages of the magnetism, conductivity and biocompatibility of the Fe3O4-RGO nanosheets, the nanocomposites could be facilely adhered to the electrode surface by magnetically controllable assembling and beneficial to achieve the direct redox reactions and electrocatalytic behaviors of GOx immobilized into the nanocomposites. The biosensor exhibited good electrocatalytic activity, high sensitivity and stability. The current response is linear over glucose concentration ranging from 0.05 to 1.5 m M with a low detection limit of0.15 μM. Meanwhile, validation of the applicability of the biosensor was carried out by determining glucose in serum samples. 5Comprehensive and high-resolution emission inventory of atmospheric pollutants for the northernmost cities agglomeration of Harbin-Changchun,China:Implications for local atmospheric environment management显示文摘Using a bottom-up estimation method,a comprehensive,high-resolution emission inventory of gaseous and particulate atmospheric pollutants for multiple anthropogenic sectors with typical local sources has been developed for the Harbin-Changchun city agglomeration(HCA).The annual emissions for CO,NO_(x),SO_(2),NH_(3),VOC S,PM_(2.5),PM 10,BC and OC during 2017 in the HCA were estimated to be 5.82 Tg,0.70 Tg,0.34 Tg,0.75 Tg,0.81 Tg,0.67 Tg,1.59 Tg,0.12 Tg and 0.26 Tg,respectively.For PM 10 and SO_(2),the emissions from industry processes were the dominant contributors representing 54.7%and 49.5%,respectively,of the total emissions,while 95.3%and 44.5%of the total NH_(3)and NO x emissions,respectively,were from or associated with agricultural activities and transportation.Spatiotemporal distributions showed that most emissions(except NH_(3))occurred in November to March and were concentrated in the central cities of Changchun and Harbin and the surrounding cities.Open burning of straw made an important contribution to PM_(2.5)in the central regions of the northeastern plain during autumn and spring,while domestic coal combustion for heating purposes was significant with respect to SO_(2)and PM_(2.5)emissions during autumn and winter.Furthermore,based on Principal Component Analysis and Multivariable Linear Regression model,air temperature,relative humidity,electricity and energy consumption,and the urban and rural population were optimized to be representative indicators for rapidly assessing the magnitude of regional atmospheric pollutants in the HCA.Such indicators and equations were demonstrated to be useful for local atmospheric environment management.Mengduo Zhang Weiwei Chen Xiangjin Shen Hongmei Zhao Chengkang Gao Xuelei Zhang Wei Liu Chengjiang Yang Yang Qin Shichun Zhang Jing Fu Daniel Tong Aijun Xiu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6:3
6Characterization of hematopoiesis in Dabry's sturgeon(Acipenser dabryanus)显示文摘The hematological indices of Dabry's sturgeon(Acipenser dabryanus)were investigated in this paper.The results showed that the count of Red blood cell(RBC)was(0.60±0.02)1012/L,and the blood glucose(GLU)was 9.32±1.00 mmol/L.Glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(ALT)and glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase(AST)were 13.75±6.65 U/L and 359.50±40.07 U/L,respectively.Smears of peripheral blood and imprints of four tissues were studied in the trial with Wright's staining method.The results indicated that Dabry's sturgeon's blood cells could be divided into five cell types,and included erythroid,granuloid,monocytoid,lymphoid and other cells.In addition,the developmental stage of each cell lineage could be subdivided into:primitive,young and mature.In the three developmental stages,the size of each cell type was similar and gradually decreased from primitive,young to mature blood cells.Among the blood cells,the monoblast and macrophage were the biggest,while the thrombocyte was the smallest.All stages of the primitive cells and young cells were observed in head kidney and all cell types,except granuloblasts,were identified in the head kidney.In contrast,primitive cells and young cells were not observed in the spleen or liver,and few orthochromatic erythroblasts were found in peripheral blood.It can be concluded that head kidney and trunk kidney are the primary organs of hematopoiesis in the Dabry's sturgeon.Ya Liu Qing Xiao Song Yang Liulan Zhao Hongmei Fu Jun Du Zongjun Du Taiming Yan Hao Wu 2017Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,6:2
7Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. 8National Cancer Data Linkage Platform of China:Design,Methods,and Application显示文摘Background:The National Cancer Center(NCC)and China CDC cooperatively designed a National Cancer Data Linkage(NCDL)Platform to fulfill the task of sharing cancer outcome data through an automatic web-based system.Methods:NCC and China CDC established a web-based NCDL Platform to link death information from China CDC with the cancer database from NCC.Overall,76,708 cancer patients’data were analyzed to assess the feasibility and match rate of the NCDL Platform for 7 major cancers.Results:The function of the platform includes a data application and approval system,data linkage module,and results visualization system.Through the platform,38.9%cases were identified as deaths cases from the NCDL Platform in the first 3 years after cancer diagnosis.The linkage rate was highest in liver cancer and lowest in breast cancer.Conclusions:The NCDL Platform provides a powerful and efficient way to link national vital statistics with national cancer programs’data.Expanding cancer outcome data linkage may not only improve data collection efficiency,but also improve data use.Hongmei Zeng Yunning Liu Lijun Wang Peng Yin Baohua Wang Ruiying Fu Xianhui Ran Rongshou Zheng Siwei Zhang Jiangmei Liu Jinling You Kexin Sun Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Wenqiang Wei Maigeng Zhou Jing Wu Jie He 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,13:1

15Suppressing thermal quenching via defect passivation for efficient quasi-2D perovskite light-emitting diodes显示文摘Emission thermal quenching is commonly observed in quasi-2D perovskite emitters,which causes the severe drop in luminescence eficiency for the quasi-2D perovskite light-emitting diodes(Pel EDs)during practical operations.However,this issue is often neglected and rarely studied,and the root cause of the thermal quenching has not been completely revealed now.Here,we develop a passivation strategy via the 2,7-dibromo-9,9-bis(3'-diethoxylphosphorylpropyl-fluorene to investigate and suppress the thermal quenching.The agent can effectively passivate coordination-unsaturated Pb2+defects of both surface and bulk of the flm without affecting the perovskite crysaliation,which helps to more truly demonstrate the important role of defects in thermal quenching.And our results reveal the root cause that the quenching will be strengthened by the defect promoted exciton-phonon coupling.Ultimately,the PeL EDs with defect passivation achieve an improved external quantum efficiengy(EQE)over 22%and doubled operation lifetime at room temperature,and can maintain about 85%of the initial EQE at 85℃,much higher than 17%of the control device.These findings provide an important basis for fabricating practical PeLEDs for lighting and displays.Dezhong Zhang Yunxing Fu Hongmei Zhan Chenyang Zhao Xiang Gao Chuanjiang Qin Lixiang Wang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,4:1
16Integration of microfluidic injection analysis with carbon nanomaterials/gold nanowire arrays-based biosensors for glucose detection显示文摘Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and reduced graphene oxide(r GO) nanosheets were utilized to construct glucose biosensors in combination with gold nanowire arrays(Au NWAs), and microfluidic injection analysis driven by gravity force was used to investigate the performances of as-prepared glucose biosensors. The results demonstrated glucose biosensors based on carbon nanomaterials/Au NWAs presented excellent performance at low working potential of-0.2 V versus Ag/Ag Cl(3 mol/L KCl), such as high sensitivity, good anti-interference ability and high throughput(45 h^(-1)). The glucose biosensor based on glucose oxidase(GOx)–CNT–Au NWAs showed a wide linear range from 100 to 3,000 lmol/L with a sensitivity of 4.12 l A/cm^2 mmol/L. 17Differential gene expression profile of Buyanghuanwu decoction in rats with ventricular remodeling post-myocardial infarction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Buyanghuanwu decoction(BYHWD) on gene expression in ventricular remodeling post-myocardial infarction in rats.METHODS: Animal models of myocardial infarction were established by permanent ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery. Echocardiography measurements were performed after the treatment of BYHWD(18 g·kg-1 collagen was observ·d-1) for 90 days.Myocardialed by mallory trichrome staining. Capillary density was quantified by using Factor rentially expⅧre immunohistochemical staining.Diffessed genes were explored by a short-read sequencing technology combined with a tag-based digital gene expression profiling(DGE)system. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction detecting system(q PCR) was used to validate the sequencing results. After assembling the gene information from Sham, model and BYHWD groups, we constructed three DGE libraries based on each group. The sequencing of three libraries generated 66 000-73 000 unique tags, which were mapped to reference sequences for annotation of expressed genes.RESULTS: Among them, 511 and 352 differentially expressed genes were found in comparison with sham/model and model/BYHWD, respectively. Fifty-five genes exhibited reversed direction of gene expression differences between Sham/Model and Model/BYHWD groups. We found that transforming growth factor beta receptor-1, junctophilin-2,monocyte chemotactic protein 1, neuropeptide Y,arachidonate 5-Lipoxygenase, arachidonate 15-Lipoxygenase were significantly modulated, which suggested the involvement of these genes in BYHWD treatment.CONCLUSION: The DGE profiling data provide comprehensive gene expression information at the transcriptional level that could facilitate our understanding of the pharmacological mechanisms of BYHWD in ventricular remodeling post-myocardial infarction.Zhang Tao Hua Yue Luo Hao Chen Hongmei Shao Meng Fu Xiuqiong John Man-Tak Chu Huang Guiqiong Liu Bin Zhou Yingchun 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,3:1

19Registration of intervention trials of Traditional Chinese Medicine for four neurological diseases on Chinese Clinical Trial Registry and Clinical Trials.gov:a narrative review显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To analyze the current status of clinical trial registration of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)for the treatment of neurological diseases.METHODS:Interventional clinical trials of TCM treatment for ischemic stroke,hemorrhagic stroke,vascular cognitive impairment,tension-type headache before September 22,2020 on the platform of Chinese Clinical Trial Registry(Chi CTR),and Clinical Trials.gov were searched.Two researchers independently selected the literature and extracted data.RESULTS:A total of 180 interventional clinical trials were included for analysis.Out of 180 trials,127 were from Chi CTR and 53 from Clinical Trials.gov.The countries primary sponsoring the included trials were China(176,97.8%),and the common categories of primary sponsors were hospital(131,72.8%).Among the study design,the largest proportion of allocation was randomized(172,95.6%),interventional model assignment was parallel(163,90.6%),masking was double blind 49(27.2%),and the sample size was≤400(144,80.0%).The trials were most carried out at a single center(102,56.7%).Among the included studies,112(62.2%)registered on Chi CTR attached the ethical approval documents.In terms of trial stages,50(27.7%)studies were in phaseⅣ.The mostly used intervention was Chinese herbal medicines(99,55%),acupuncture(68,37.8%)was the second.By searching the registration number on China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database and Pub Med,38(21.1%)registered trials were published,including 25 protocol studies and 14 research results with one(NCT02275949)published both the protocol and the results.CONCLUSIONS:Irregular and inadequate reporting,untimely update and publication,insufficient information on traditional medicine unique characteristics,and lack of international collaborations are the problems existing in the interventional clinical registration trials of traditional medicine treatment on neurological diseases.More efforts need to be made from the above aspects to standardize and improve the registration of traditional medicine trials.WEI Jingjing GUO Rongjuan FU Guojing LIANG Xiao XU Zhenmin JIA Min ZENG Zixiu DU Wanqing JIAO Weiwei SUN Linjuan LIU Hongmei GUO Chunli TONG Chenguang ZHANG Yunling LIAO Xing 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,1:1
