2Construction of China Osmanthus City and Intellectual Property Right Protection in Xianning City in the Context of Three New Developments显示文摘Xianning City of Hubei Province is one of the five major traditional osmanthus producing areas in the world and the hometown of osmanthus in China. Xianning is constructing China Osmanthus City in the whole city. This paper first introduces the main characteristics of the osmanthus industry in Xianning City, and analyzes the characteristics of traditional knowledge, biological genetic resources, new plant varieties, patents, geographical indications, and trademarks. Then, it studies the intellectual property resources of the osmanthus industry, and analyzes the main problems existing in the construction of China Osmanthus City and intellectual property right protection. 3Combined Fenton process and sulfide precipitation for removal of heavy metals from industrial wastewater:Bench and pilot scale studies focusing on in-depth thallium removal显示文摘Thallium (Tl) in industrial wastewater is a public health concern due to its extremely high toxicity. However, there has been limited research regarding Tl removal techniques and engineering practices to date. In this investigation, bench and pilot studies on advanced treatment of industrial wastewater to remove Tl to a trace level were conducted. The treatment process involved a combination of hydroxide precipitation, Fenton oxidation, and sulfide precipitation. While hydroxide precipitation was ineffective for Tl^+ removal, it enabled the recovery of approximately 70%-80% of Zn as Zn hydroxide in alkaline conditions. The Fenton process provided good Tl removal (>95%) through oxidation and precipitation. Tl was then removed to trace levels (< 1.0 μg/L) via sulfide precipitation. Effective removal of other heavy metals was also achieved, with Cd < 13.4 μg/L, Cu < 39.6 μg/L, Pb < 5.32 μg/L, and Zn < 357 μg/L detected in the effluent. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy indicated that T12S precipitate formed due to sulfide precipitation. Other heavy metals were removed via the formation of metal hydroxides during hydroxide precipitation and Fenton treatment, as well as via the formation of metal sulfides during sulfide precipitation. 4Detecting land subsidence near metro lines in the Baoshan district of Shanghai with multi-temporal interferometric synthetic aperture radar显示文摘Land subsidence is a major factor that affects metro line(ML) stability. In this study, an improved multitemporal interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)(MTI) method to detect land subsidence near MLs is presented. In particular, our multi-temporal InSAR method provides surface subsidence measurements with high observation density. The MTI method tracks both point-like targets and distributed targets with temporal radar backscattering steadiness. First, subsidence rates at the point targets with low-amplitude dispersion index(ADI) values are extracted by applying a least-squared estimator on an optimized freely connected network. Second, to reduce error propagation, the pixels with high-ADI values are classified into several groups according to ADI intervals and processed using a Pearson correlation coefficient and hierarchical analysis strategy to obtain the distributed targets. Then,nonlinear subsidence components at all point-like and distributed targets are estimated using phase unwrapping and spatiotemporal filtering on the phase residuals. The proposed MTI method was applied to detect land subsidence near MLs of No. 1 and 3 in the Baoshan district of Shanghai using 18 TerraSAR-X images acquired between April 21,2008 and October 30, 2010. The results show that the mean subsidence rates of the stations distributed along the two MLs are-12.9 and-14.0 mm/year. Furthermore, three subsidence funnels near the MLs are discovered through the hierarchical analysis. 5Monitoring subsidence rates along road network by persistent scatterer SAR interferometry with high-resolution TerraSAR-X imagery显示文摘Ground subsidence is one of the key factors damaging transportation facilities,e.g.,road networks consisting of highways and railways.In tiiis paper,we propose to apply the persistent scatterer synthetic aperture radar interferometry(PS-InSAR)approach mat uses highresolution TerraSAR-X(TSX)imagery to extract the regional scale subsidence rates(i.e.,average annual subsidence in mm/year)along road networks.The primary procedures involve interferometric pair selection,interferogram generation,persistent scatterer(PS)detection,PS networking,phase parameterization,and subsidence rate estimation.The Xiqing District in southwest Tianjin(China)is selected as the study area.This district contains one railway line and several highway lines.A total of 15TSX images covering this area between April 2009 and June 2010 are utilized to obtain the subsidence rates by using the PS-InSAR(PSI)approach.The subsidence rates derived from PSI range from—68.7 to—1.3 mm/year.These findings show a significantly uneven subsidence pattern along the road network.Comparison between the PSI-derived subsidence rates and the leveling data obtained along the highways shows that the mean and standard deviation(SD)of the discrepancies between die two types of subsidence rates are 0.1 and±3.2 mm/year,respectively.The results indicate that the high-resolution TSX PSI is capable of providing comprehensive and detailedsubsidence information regarding road networks with millimeter-level accuracy.Further inspections under geological conditions and land-use categories in the study area indicate that the observed subsidence is highly related to aquifer compression due to groundwater pumping.Therefore,measures should be taken to mitigate groundwater extraction for the study area.Bing Yu Guoxiang Liu Rui Zhang Hongguo Jia Tao Li Xiaowen Wang Keren Dai Deying Ma 2013Journal of Modern Transportation2013,21,4:4
6Morphology and magnetic properties of Sm_(2)Co_(7)/α-Fe nanocomposite magnets produced by high energy ball milling and spark plasma sintering显示文摘In this article,the Sm_(2)Co_(7)/α-Fe nanocomposite magnets were prepared by high energy ball milling and spark plasma sintering method.The effect of soft phase content on the magnetic properties was studied.Up to 30 wt% α-Fe was added into Sm_(2)Co_(7) matrix without the decrease of remanence.Optimal energy product(BH)max of 9.2 MGOe was obtained with 20 wt% α-Fe.TEM observation shows that the grain size of α-Fe is 20-50 nm which ensures a good coupling effect between soft and hard phase.One more thing needs to be mentioned is that there exists inter-diffusion between Sm-Co phase and α-Fe phase.Moreover,our results can also illustrate that the Sm_(2)Co_(7)/α-Fe nanocomposite magnets are able to acquire better magnetic properties than the SmCo_(5)/α-Fe magnets prepared by the same process due to the large domain width of Sm_(2)Co_(7) phase.Yitong Zhuge Yuqing Li Xiaochang Xu Dongtao Zhang Hongguo Zhang Weiqiang Liu Ming Yue 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,3:3
7Ultrastructural changes in the optic nerve and capillary vessels during early stages of optic nerve injury显示文摘BACKGROUND:Capillaries are the only blood supply for optic nerves,which makes the system more vulnerable to impaired blood circulation.OBJECTIVE:To observe the ultrastructural changes in the optic nerves and capillaries in rabbits following intracanalicular segment injury to the optic nerve.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Comparative,observational,pathological morphology was performed at the Department of Anatomy,Weifang Medical College from September to November 2007.MATERIALS:Models of intracanalicular segment injury to the optic nerve were induced in the right eye of thirty healthy,adult rabbits by a free-falling metal cylinder.The H-7500 transmission electron microscope was provided by Hitachi,Japan.METHODS:All rabbits were randomly assigned into experimental(n = 25) and control(n = 5) groups.Op-tic nerve specimens were obtained from the experimental group at 0.5,6,12,48,and 96 hours,respectively,following injury.Ultrastructural changes to the optic nerves and their capillaries were observed by electron microscopy.Optic nerve injury was not established in the control group,but optic nerve specimens were col-lected similarly to the experimental group.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Ultrastructural changes in the injured optic nerves and their capillaries.RESULTS:Thirty rabbits were included in the final analysis.In the control group,cross-sections of the optic nerves exhibited varied thicknesses with regularly arranged fibers.The axons appeared to be smooth with condensed myelin sheaths and oval mitochondria.The microtubules and microfilaments were clearly seen.The lumens of the capillaries were regular with densely arranged endothelial cells and visible mitochondria.In the experimental group,30 minutes after injury to the optic nerves,swollen axons,sparse myelin sheath,disordered microtubules and microfilaments,swollen mitochondria,and a decreased number of pinocytosis vesicles and microfilaments in endothelial cells of the capillaries were observed.At 6 hours,medullary and vacuolar degeneration in the mitochondria,and swollen endothelial cells in the capillary,were visible.At 12 hours,these changes were more obvious.At 48 hours,granular dissolution of microtubules,microfilaments,and mitochondria,as well as diffuse degeneration of mitochondria in the endothelial cells,were observed.At 96 hours,axonal disintegration,vacuolar degeneration,and dilated capillaries were observed.CONCLUSION:During early stages,the injured intracanalicular optic nerve exhibited swollen axons with vacuolar degeneration,swollen and degenerated mitochondria,decreased number of microtubules and micro-filaments,and dilated capillaries with increased permeability.Xuehong Ju Xiuyun Li Xiaoshuang Li Hongtao Tang Hongguo Liu 2008Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,9:3
8Pathological changes in the retina and growth associated protein-43 expression following treatment of intracanalicular optic nerve injury via optic canal decompression,dexamethasone or their combination显示文摘BACKGROUND:The main clinical treatments for optic nerve injury are optic canal decompression and systemic administration of hormones,but both treatments have disadvantages.OBJECTIVE:To observe the pathological changes in the retina and growth associated protein-43(GAP-43) expression,to compare the treatment of optic canal decompression,hormones,and their combination with the intracanalicular optic nerve injury.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled animal study was performed at the Department of Anatomy,Weifang Medical University,China,from September 2007 to November 2008.MATERIALS:Dexamethasone(Shandong Huaxin Pharmaceutical,China) and rabbit anti-GAP-43 polyclonal antibody(Boster,China) were used.METHODS:All 36 healthy adult rabbits were randomly assigned to control group(n = 4),simple injury group(n = 20),and treatment group(n = 12).Intracanalicular optic nerve injury models were established using the metal cylinder free-fall impact method.The control group was left intact.The treatment group(four rabbits in each subgroup) was treated by optic nerve decompression,dexamethasone treatment(1 mg/kg daily via two intravenous infusions,1/5 total dose reduction every 3 days,for 14 days),and simultaneously giving surgery and hormone treatment.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Pathological changes in the retina were determined using hematoxylin-eosin staining.GAP-43 expression was detected using immunohistochemistry in the retina.RESULTS:Retina injury induced obvious pathological changes in the retina.With prolonged time after optic nerve injury,the number of retinal ganglion cells was gradually decreased,and reached the minimum on day 14(P < 0.01).All three treatments increased the number of retinal ganglion cells(P < 0.01),but surgery + hormone treatment was most effective.No GAP-43 cells were present in the normal retinal,but they appeared 3 days after injury,peaked 7 days after injury,and then began to decline.CONCLUSION:Intracanalicular optic nerve injury induced obvious pathological changes in the retina,including increased GAP-43 expression.Optic canal decompression and hormones improved nerve repair after injury,and their combination produced better outcomes.Xuehong Ju Hui Cheng Hongguo Liu Xiaoshuang Li Xiuyun Li 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,10:2

15Analysis on deformation and texture formation mechanism of hot-deformed Nd-Fe-B magnets based on heterogeneous structure evolution显示文摘In this paper, microstructure, micromagnetic structure, texture, together with magnetic properties of the hot-deformed(HD) Nd-Fe-B magnets were systematically studied to understand the deformation process and the formation mechanism of c-axis texture. The results show that the platelet grains are formed in the fine-grain regions at the initial stage of the deformation. As the amount of deformation increases, the proportion of platelet grains increases and arranges gradually, causing the formation of c-axis texture, till the grain merging occurres when the deformation is excessive. It should be noted that the rare earth-rich phase in the fine-grained region slowly diffuses to the coarse-grained region where only grain growth can be observed during deformation. The deformation mechanism and formation of c-axis texture in HD Nd-Fe-B magnets can be deduced to be accomplished by the processes of dissolution-precipitation diffusion, grain rotation and grain arrangement, based on the characterization of microstructure and texture evolution. 17Cooperative catalysis of Co single atoms and nanoparticles enables selective CAr-OCH_(3) cleavage for sustainable production of lignin-based cyclohexanols显示文摘In this work,a dual-size MOF-derived Co catalyst(0.2Co_(1-NPs)@NC)composed of single atoms(Co_(1))and highly dispersed nanoparticles(Co NPs)was prepared by in-situ Zn evaporation for the highperformance conversion of lignin-derived o-methoxyphenols(lignin oil)to cyclohexanols(up to 97%yield)via cascade demethoxylation and dearomatization.Theoretical calculations elaborated that the dual-size Co catalyst exhibited a cooperative effect in the selective demethoxylation process,in which the Co NPs could initially dissociate hydrogen at lower energies while Co1remarkably facilitated the cleavage of the C_(Ar)-OCH_(3)bond.Moreover,the intramolecular hydrogen bonds formed in the omethoxy-containing phenols were found to result in a decrease in the bond energy of the C_(Ar)-OCH_(3)bond,which was more prone to be activated by the dual-size Co sites.Notably,the pre-hydrogenated intermediate(e.g.,2-methoxycyclohexanol from guaiacol)is difficult to undergo demethoxylation,indicating that the selective C_(Ar)-OCH_(3)bond cleavage is a prerequisite for the synthesis of cyclohexanols.The 0.2Co_(1-NPs)@NC catalyst was highly recyclable with a neglect decline in activity during five consecutive cycles.This cooperative catalytic strategy based on the metal size effect opens new avenues for biomass upgrading via enhanced C-O bond cleavage of high selectivity.Baoyu Wang Peng Zhou Ximing Yan Hu Li Hongguo Wu Zehui Zhang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0

20Investigation on the optical focusing effect of Fresnel biprism显示文摘Fresnel biprism has been applied to the design of plasmonic meta-lenses recently. In order to promote these applications and understand the physics behind them, in this paper we investigate the focusing effect of Fresnel biprism from the perspective of information optics and geometrical optics. The expression for optical field intensity describing the focusing effect of Fresnel biprism is derived according to the relationship between the impulse response function and the optical field. Then the formula of the focal length is achieved. Furthermore, the Fresnel biprism focusing experiment is performed. Specially, the optical field intensity distribution is measured and the corresponding intensity along the axis is obtained. The results show that the focusing effect depends on the base angle, refractive index and base length of the biprism. There exists axial resonance effect in the axial intensity. The experimental results are in accordance with the theoretical results.
