2Combinative Algorithms for the Multidisciplinary Collaborative Simulation of Complex Mechatronic Products Based on Major Step and Convergent Integration Step显示文摘Multidisciplinary collaborative simulation (MCS) is an important area of research in the domain of multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO).Although previous research for MCS has to some extent addressed some issues like using of multiple tools,integration stability,control of step size,data synchronization,etc,further work is still necessary to study how to achieve improved precision.A theoretical model is formulated to describe and analyze the integration process of MCS.A basic algorithm with equal major steps is proposed based on the model,along with two methods of implementation for the model,namely the serial method and the parallel method.A further algorithm based on convergent integration step is proposed,which has a more flexible strategy for run-time integration.The influence of interpolation techniques on simulation performance is studied as well.Simulations of the performance of various algorithms with different interpolation techniques are performed for both a simple numerical example and a complex mechatronic product.The novel algorithm based on convergent integration step,when used with a high-order interpolation technique,has better performance in terms of precision and efficiency.The innovation of this paper is mainly on the validation of high precision of the proposed convergent integration step algorithm.LIANG Silue ZHANG Heming WANG Hongwei 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,3:6
3Longitudinal,transverse,density-of-states,and conductivity masses of electrons in(001),(101) and(111) biaxiallystrained-Si and strained-Si_(1-x)Ge_x显示文摘In this study,the electron effective masses,including longitudinal,transverse,density-of-states and conductivity effective masses,have been systematically investigated in(001),(101) and(111) biaxially strained Si and Si1-xGex.It is found that the effect of strain on the longitudinal and transverse masses can be neglected,that the density-of-states masses in(001) and(110) biaxially strained Si and Si1-xGex materials decrease significantly with increasing Ge fraction(x),and that the conductivity masses along typical orientations in(001) and(110) strained Si and Si1-xGex.are obviously different from those in relaxed Si.The quantitative results obtained from this work may provide valuable theoretical references to understanding strained materials physics and studying conduction channel design related to stress and orientations in the strained devices.SONG JianJun YANG Chao ZHANG HeMing HU HuiYong ZHOU ChunYu WANG Bin 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,11:5
4Hole mobility enhancement of Si by rhombohedral strain显示文摘The strain technology is an effective way to improve hole mobility and CMOS device performance. Tetragonal strain leading to hole mobility enhancement in strained Si (001) has been verified by two aspects of theories and experiments. In this paper, we aim to study rhombohedral strain effect on the hole mobility of Si, which results from growing on the (111) oriented relaxed Si1 xGex substrate. It is found that structure transformation of Si from cubic to trigonal system occurs under the biaxial tensile stress imposed by the (111) substrate and that its corresponding averaged hole mobility increases about one time at most in comparison with one of unstrained Si. 6Revealing the Precise Role of Calretinin Neurons in Epilepsy: We Are on the Way显示文摘Epilepsy is a common neurological disorder characterized by hyperexcitability in the brain.Its pathogenesis is classically associated with an imbalance of excitatory and inhibitory neurons.Calretinin(CR)is one of the three major types of calcium-binding proteins present in inhibitory GABAergic neurons.The functions of CR and its role in neural excitability are still unknown.Recent data suggest that CR neurons have diverse neurotransmitters,morphologies,distributions,and functions in different brain regions across various species.Notably,CR neurons in the hippocampus,amygdala,neocortex,and thalamus are extremely susceptible to excitotoxicity in the epileptic brain,but the causal relationship is unknown.In this review,we focus on the heterogeneous functions of CR neurons in different brain regions and their relationship with neural excitability and epilepsy.Importantly,we provide perspectives on future investigations of the role of CR neurons in epilepsy.Yingbei Qi Heming Cheng Yi Wang Zhong Chen 2022Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,2:3
7Penetration depth at various Raman excitation wavelengths and stress model for Raman spectrum in biaxially-strained Si显示文摘The carrier mobility of Si material can be enhanced under strain,and the stress magnitude can be measured by the Raman spectrum.In this paper,we aim to study the penetration depths into biaxially-strained Si materials at various Raman excitation wavelengths and the stress model corresponding to Raman spectrum in biaxially-strained Si.The experimental results show that it is best to use 325 nm excitation to measure the material stress in the top strained Si layer,and that one must pay attention to the distortion of the buffer layers on measuring results while 514 nm excitation is also measurable.Moreover,we established the stress model for Raman spectrum of biaxially-strained Si based on the Secular equation.One can obtain the stress magnitude in biaxially-strained Si by the model,as long as the results of the Raman spectrum are given.Our quantitative results can provide valuable references for stress analysis on strained materials.SONG JianJun YANG Chao HU HuiYong DAI XianYing WANG Cheng ZHANG HeMing 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,11:3
8Research on mold flux for hypo-peritectic steel at high casting speed显示文摘Mold fluxes having adaptable properties were developed in the laboratory to solve quality defects, such as depressions and longitudinal cracks when casting hypo-peritectic steel at high casting speed. Firstly, the effect of components on the high basicity mold flux properties was first studied using the orthogonal method. In the scope of the studied content, Li2O has the largest effect on the melting temperature, and the least effect on the viscosity; CaF2 has the largest effect on the viscosity, and the least effect on the melting temperature; Na2O and CaO/SiO2 have no obvious influence on the melting temperature and viscosity. Secondly, two powders (Z1 and Z6) have reasonable viscosity-temperature curves, higher solidification temperatures, and porous structure after solidification, but the crystal property of Z6 is worse than that of Z1, and thus Z1 is more suitable for continuous casting hypo-peritectic steel at high casting speed. 9Heterogeneous Microstructure-Induced Mechanical Responses in Various Sub-Zones of EH420 Shipbuilding Steel Welded Joint Under High Heat Input Electro-Gas Welding显示文摘Heterogeneous microstructure-induced mechanical responses in EH420 shipbuilding steel welded joint by electro-gas welding processed have been systematically studied by scanning electron microscopy,electron backscatter diffraction and mechanical testing.Comparing with the coarse-grained heat-affected zone(CGHAZ),the weld metal presents higher toughness(129.3 J vs.37.3 J)as it contains a large number of acicular ferrites with high-angle grain boundaries(frequency 79.2%)and special grain boundary∑3(frequency 55.3%).Moreover,coarse austenite grains in CGHAZ and slender martensite–austenite constituents between bainite laths may likely facilitate crack propagation.Polygonal ferrites and tempered pearlites formed at the junction of the fine-grained heat-affected zone and the intercritical heat-affected zone induced a softened zone with an average hardness of 185 HV0.5,which is the main reason for the occurrence of tensile fracture.Xu Xie Tan Zhao Heming Zhao Song Li Cong Wang 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,10:2
10Paleogene geological framework and tectonic evolution of the central anticlinal zone in Lufeng 13 sag,Pearl River Mouth Basin显示文摘The Paleogene geological framework and evolution process in the central anticline zone in the Lufeng 13 sag in Pearl River Mouth Basin is well analyzed through seismic data and drilling data,and control of tectonic evolution on hydrocarbon accumulation is also discussed.The results show that the central anticline zone in the Lufeng 13 sag develops the upper deformation layer and lower deformation layer.The“arched graben system”is developed in the upper deformation layer,and the magmatic diapir structure and flowing deformation of plastic strata is developed in the lower deformation layer.The evolution process of the central anticline zone can be divided into four stages,i.e.fault block uplifting stage,prototype stage,strengthening stage and finalization stage.The geological framework and tectonic evolution of the central anticline zone control Paleogene hydrocarbon accumulation.The Paleogene twolayer geological framework is favorable for development of structural traps and composite traps;the paleostructure highs are the direction of hydrocarbon migration,and the gravitational gliding faults are the main carrier bed for vertical hydrocarbon migration;the tectonic uplift is a key factor for reservoir diagenesis improvement and preservation of primary pores,and also controls distribution of high-quality reservoirs.Xudong Wang Xiangtao Zhang Heming Lin Xiaoming Que Yong He Liankai Jia Zhangbo Xiao Min Li 2019Petroleum Research2019,4,3:2

14Construction of [Cu_nI_n]-based coordination polymers via flexible benzimidazolyl-based ligands显示文摘Four new [CunIn]-based coordination polymers, [{Cu4(μ3-I)4(mbbm)2}·2DMF]n (1), [(CuI)2(mbbm)2]n (2), [{Cu2(μ-I)2-(ebbm)2}·2MeCN]n (3), and [Cu2(μ-I)2(prbbm)2]n (4), were prepared from solvothermal reactions of CuI with three flexible ligands [(bzim)(CH2)n(bzim)] (bzim = benzimidazole; n = 1, mbbm; n = 2, ebbm; n = 3, prbbm). These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray crystallography. 1 consists of cubanelike [Cu4(μ3-I)4] fragments that link the neighboring ones via mbbm bridges to form a 1D ladder-type chain. 2 contains mononuclear [CuI] fragments that are bridged by mbbm ligands to yield a 1D zigzag chain. 3 or 4 contains a [Cu2(μ-I)2] dimeric fragment, which works as a four-connecting node to link its four equivalent ones to form a 2D (4,4) network (3) or acts as a two-connecting node to connect its two equivalent ones via two pairs of prbbm bridges to form a 1D double chain (4). 19Computer Simulation of Turbulent Flow through a Hydraulic Turbine Draft Tube显示文摘Based on the Navier-Stokes equations and the standard k-ε turbulence model, this paper presents the derivation of the governing equations for the turbulent flow field in a draft tube. The mathematical model for the turbulent flow through a draft tube is set up when the boundary conditions, including the inlet boundary conditions, the outlet boundary conditions and the wall boundary conditions, have been implemented. The governing equations are formulated in a discrete form on a staggered grid system by the finite volume method. The second-order central difference approximation and hybrid scheme are used for discretization. The computation and analysis on internal flow through a draft tube have been carried out by using the simplec algorithm and cfx-tasc flow software so as to obtain the simulated flow fields. The calculation results at the design operating condition for the draft tube are presented in this paper.
