1Solution of an Inverse Problem of Heat Conduction of 45 Steel with Martensite Phase Transformation in High Pressure during Gas Quenching显示文摘In order to simulate thermal strains, thermal stresses, residual stresses and microstructure of the steel during gas quenching by means of the numerical method, it is necessary to obtain an accurate boundary condition of temperature field. The surface heat transfer coefficient is a key parameter. The explicit finite difference method, nonlinear estimation method and the experimental relation between temperature and time during gas quenching have been used to solve the inverse problem of heat conduction. The relationship between surface temperature and surface heat transfer coefficient of a cylinder has been given. 2Revealing the Precise Role of Calretinin Neurons in Epilepsy: We Are on the Way显示文摘Epilepsy is a common neurological disorder characterized by hyperexcitability in the brain.Its pathogenesis is classically associated with an imbalance of excitatory and inhibitory neurons.Calretinin(CR)is one of the three major types of calcium-binding proteins present in inhibitory GABAergic neurons.The functions of CR and its role in neural excitability are still unknown.Recent data suggest that CR neurons have diverse neurotransmitters,morphologies,distributions,and functions in different brain regions across various species.Notably,CR neurons in the hippocampus,amygdala,neocortex,and thalamus are extremely susceptible to excitotoxicity in the epileptic brain,but the causal relationship is unknown.In this review,we focus on the heterogeneous functions of CR neurons in different brain regions and their relationship with neural excitability and epilepsy.Importantly,we provide perspectives on future investigations of the role of CR neurons in epilepsy.Yingbei Qi Heming Cheng Yi Wang Zhong Chen 2022Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,2:3
3Penetration depth at various Raman excitation wavelengths and stress model for Raman spectrum in biaxially-strained Si显示文摘The carrier mobility of Si material can be enhanced under strain,and the stress magnitude can be measured by the Raman spectrum.In this paper,we aim to study the penetration depths into biaxially-strained Si materials at various Raman excitation wavelengths and the stress model corresponding to Raman spectrum in biaxially-strained Si.The experimental results show that it is best to use 325 nm excitation to measure the material stress in the top strained Si layer,and that one must pay attention to the distortion of the buffer layers on measuring results while 514 nm excitation is also measurable.Moreover,we established the stress model for Raman spectrum of biaxially-strained Si based on the Secular equation.One can obtain the stress magnitude in biaxially-strained Si by the model,as long as the results of the Raman spectrum are given.Our quantitative results can provide valuable references for stress analysis on strained materials.SONG JianJun YANG Chao HU HuiYong DAI XianYing WANG Cheng ZHANG HeMing 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,11:3

9Computer Simulation of Turbulent Flow through a Hydraulic Turbine Draft Tube显示文摘Based on the Navier-Stokes equations and the standard k-ε turbulence model, this paper presents the derivation of the governing equations for the turbulent flow field in a draft tube. The mathematical model for the turbulent flow through a draft tube is set up when the boundary conditions, including the inlet boundary conditions, the outlet boundary conditions and the wall boundary conditions, have been implemented. The governing equations are formulated in a discrete form on a staggered grid system by the finite volume method. The second-order central difference approximation and hybrid scheme are used for discretization. The computation and analysis on internal flow through a draft tube have been carried out by using the simplec algorithm and cfx-tasc flow software so as to obtain the simulated flow fields. The calculation results at the design operating condition for the draft tube are presented in this paper. 12Loss-of-function of sox3 causes follicle development retardation and reduces fecundity in zebrafish显示文摘Folliculogenesis is essential for production of female gametes in vertebrates.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying follicle development,particularly apoptosis regulation in ovary,remain elusive.Here,we gen erated sox3 knockout zebrafish lines using CRISPR/Cas9.sox3 knockout led to follicle development retardation and a reduced fecundity in females.Comparative analysis of transcriptome between sox3^-/-and wild-type ovaries revealed that Sox3 was invoIved in pathways of ovarian steroidogenesis and apoptosis.Knockout of sox3 promoted follicle apoptosis and obvious apoptosis signals were detected in somatic cells of stages III and IV follicles of sox3^-/-ovaries.Moreover,Sox3 can bind to and activate the promoter of cyp19a1a.Up-regulation of Cyp19a1a expression promoted 17β-estradiol synthesis,which inhibited apoptosis in follicle development.Thus,Sox3 functions as a regulator of Cyp19a1a expression,via 17β-E2 linking apoptosis suppression,which is implicated in improving female fecundity.Qiang Hong Cong Li Ruhong Ying Heming Lin Jingqiu Li Yu Zhao Hanhua Cheng Rongjia Zhou 2019Protein & Cell2019,10,5:1

14Quantitative description of infrared radiation characteristics of preflawed sandstone during fracturing process显示文摘Previous studies show that infrared radiation temperature(IRT)abnormalities are always accompanied by the crack development in rocks under external loads.In this context,experiments were conducted on preflawed sandstone to investigate the infrared radiation characteristics during failure process.Two indicators were defined herein,i.e.coefficient of variation of IRT(CVIRT)and skewness of IRT(SIRT).The regression analysis shows that the IRT probability distributions during loading process fit the Gaussian model.The variations in the CVIRT are characterized by four stages:primary stage,steady stage,accelerating stage and post-peak stage.Besides,the variations in the SIRT are divided into three stages:primary stage,steady stage and failure and post-peak stage.The precursor point for preflawed rock failure is identified based on the CVIRTetime curve,with average precursor point of 83%of the peak stress.Compared with other IRT indicators,the proposed two IRT indicators have higher sensitivity to IRT abnormalities during failure process.Furthermore,the connection between the IRT indicators and the rock fracturing was investigated to interpret the IRT indicator abnormalities.Based on the Verhulst inverse function,a new quantitative model was presented to describe the primary stage,steady stage and accelerating stage of the CVIRTetime curve.The results obtained in this study can provide early-warning information for rock failure prediction.Ke Zhang Xianghua Liu Yulong Chen Heming Cheng 2021Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2021,13,1:1

17Numerical Simulation of Unsteady Turbulent Flow through a Francis Turbine显示文摘This paper introduces the 3D numerical simulation of unsteady turbulent flow in the entire flow passage of a Francis turbine with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology. The boundary conditions have been implemented based on the 3D averaged Navier-Stokes equations. The governing equations are discreted on space by the finite volume method and on time step by the finite difference method. The 3D unsteady turbulent flow in an entire Francis turbine model is calculated successfully using the CFX-TASCflow software and RNG k-ε turbulence model. Transient flow fields are simulated in the spiral case, the distributor, the runner, and the draft tube for the optimum operating condition. Meanwhile, the velocity and pressure at any points in the flow fields can be obtained so as to provide the great value on the performance prediction. By means of the numerical simulation in a flow field, it is verified that every component in a Francis turbine model is designed reasonably. 19Hole scattering mechanism of strained Si/(111)Si_(1-x)Ge_x显示文摘Based on Fermi’s golden rule and the theory of Boltzmann collision term approximation, the hole scattering mechanism ofstrained Si/(111)Si1 xGexwas established, including ionized impurity, acoustic phonon, non-polar optical phonon and totalscattering rate models. It was found that the total scattering rate of the hole in strained Si/(111)Si1 xGexdecreased obviouslywith the increasing stress when energy was 0.04 eV. In comparison with one of the unstrained Si, the total hole scattering rateof strained Si/(111)Si1 xGexdecreased about 38% at most. The decreasing hole scattering rate enhanced the hole mobility instrained Si materials.
