| 6 | Role of MgF2 addition on high energy ball milled kalsilite:Implementation as dental porcelain with low temperature frit显示文摘Porcelain fused to metal(PFM)has received great attention over the last few years due to its importance in the dentistry.Kalsilite(K_(2)O·Al_(2)O_(3)·SiO_(2))is a high thermal expansion porcelain,suitable for bonding to metals.However,kalsilite is a metastable phase which gets converted into crystalline leucite upon heating.In the current work feasibility of developing stable kalsilite phase,dispersion of MgF2 in it as an additive and using mechanochemical synthesis are studied.Micro fine dental material has been formulated by mixing prepared kalsilite with low temperature frit(LTF)in different ratio.The crystalline phases evolved in fired powders are characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)technique.Kalsilite with different ratio of LTF has been cold pressed and heat treated to examine its coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE),flexural strength,apparent porosity(AP),bulk density(BD)and microstructure.Results indicate that MgF_(2) addition and high milling duration help in kalsilite stabilization.Temperature also plays an important role in this stabilization,and at 1100℃single phase kalsilite formation is observed.Present outcomes demonstrate that it is easily possible to synthesize a stable single phase kalsilite with desirable properties. | Pattem Hemanth KUMAR Abhinav SRIVASTAVA Vijay KUMAR Nandini JAISWAL Pradeep KUMAR Vinay Kumar SINGH | 2014 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2014，3，4： | 1 |

| 17 | Airway management training program for nurses via online course in COVID-19 preparedness显示文摘BACKGROUND Nursing officers are an integral component of any medical team.They participate in taking care of basic airway management and assist in advanced airway management,specifically amidst the current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.AIM To assess the efficacy of a standardized web-based training module for nurses in preparedness to fight against COVID-19.METHODS The training was held in three sessions of 1 h each,consisting of live audio-visual lectures,case scenarios,and skill demonstrations.The sequence of airway equipment,drug preparation,airway examination,and plans of airway management was demonstrated through mannequin-based video-clips.RESULTS Pre-and post-test scores as well as objective structured clinical examination scores were analyzed using Student’s t-test and the Likert scale was used for feedback assessment.It was found that the mean score out of the total score of 20 was 8.47±4.2 in the pre-test,while in the post-test it was 17.4±1.8(P value<0.001).The participants also felt self-reliant in executing the roles of airway assistant(63.3%)and drug assistant(74.3%).Fear of self-infection with COVID-19 was also high,as 66%of participants feared working with the patient’s airway.CONCLUSION Amidst this COVID-19 emergency,when the health care systems are being persistently challenged,training of nursing staff in the safe conduct of airway management can ensure delivery of life-saving treatment. | Bhavna Gupta Gaurav Jain Sharmishtha Pathak Priyanka Mishra Hemanth Kumar Shalinee Rao | 2022 | World Journal of Methodology2022，12，3： | 0 |
| 18 | Histopathological study of chronic wounds modulated by intermittent negative pressure therapy under limited access dressing显示文摘Aim:Negative pressure wound therapy(NPWT)has achieved widespread success in the treatment of chronic wounds.However,its effects have been only partially explored,and investigations have generally concentrated on the wound-dressing interface;a detailed histopathological description of the evolution of wounds under NPWT is still lacking.The present study was performed to investigate the effect of a limited access dressing(LAD)which exerts intermittent NPWT in a moist environment on chronic wounds.Methods:A total of 140 patients were randomized into 2 groups:LAD group(n=64)and conventional dressing group(n=76).By histopathological analysis of the granulation tissue,the amount of inflammatory infiltrate,necrotic tissue,angiogenesis,and extracellular matrix(ECM)deposition was studied and compared to determine healing between the 2 groups.Results:After 10 days of treatment,histopathological analysis showed a significant decrease in necrotic tissue with LAD compared to the conventional dressing group(mean±standard error,11.5±0.48 vs.10.1±0.30,P=0.007),the number of inflammatory cells(12.6±0.60 vs.8.63±0.35,P=0.018),a significant increase in new blood vessels(12.8±0.58 vs.9.3±0.29,P=0.005)and ECM deposit(13.3±0.50 vs.9.6±0.24,P=0.001).Conclusion:LAD exerts its beneficial effects on chronic wound healing by decreasing the amount of necrotic tissue and inflammatory cells while increasing the amount of ECM deposition and angiogenesis. | Thittamaranahalli Muguregowda Honnegowda Pramod Kumar Rekha Singh Swarna Shivakumar Pragna Rao Hemanth K.Prasad Sudesh Kumar Udaya Kumar Echalasara Govindarama Padmanabha Udupa | 2015 | Plastic and Aesthetic Research2015，2，1： | 0 |
| 19 | 一处罕见的感染性胰腺坏死的肝外液体积聚区:腹股沟阴囊区显示文摘Severe acute pancreatitis often leads to pancreatic and peripancreatic collections but,rarely,it can lead to collections at sites remote from the pancreas.Three male patients presented with abdominal pain and inguinoscrotal swelling.They were initially misdiagnosed with obstructed inguinal hernia,epididymo-orchitis and hydrocele,respectively.Later,their diagnosis of acute pancreatitis was revealed on laparotomy in one patient and on computed tomography(CT)in the remaining two patients.All these cases had extensive peripancreatic necrosis and paracolic collections tracking along the psoas muscle,downwards towards the pelvis.These collections were initially managed by percutaneous drainage and saline irrigation as a part of the‘step-up’approach.Two of these patients required open necrosectomy,while all required incision and drainage of inguinoscrotal collections.All the patients were discharged in satisfactory condition.Inguinoscrotal swelling is unusual as a first presentation of acute pancreatitis.A high index of suspicion,with careful study of patient’s history and examination along with CT,may provide an accurate diagnosis.Local drainage may be required to control sepsis and also provide an egress route for intra-abdominal collections. | Saurabh Kalia Rahul Gupta Sunil DShenvi Hemanth Kumar Rajesh Gupta Mandeep Kang Surinder Singh Rana Deepak Kumar Bhasin Rajinder Singh | 2016 | Gastroenterology Report2016，4，3： | 0 |
| 20 | 肠造口的自行闭合显示文摘Intestinal loop stoma is a common surgical procedure performed for various benign and malignant abdominal problems,but it rarely undergoes spontaneous closure,without surgical intervention.Two male patients presented to our emergency surgical department with acute abdominal pain.One of them was diagnosed as having rectosigmoid perforation and underwent diversion sigmoid loop colostomy after primary closure of the perforation.The other was a known case of carcinoma of the rectum who had already undergone low anterior resection with covering loop ileostomy;the patient underwent second loop ileostomy,this time for complicated intestinal obstruction.To our surprise,both the loop colostomy and ileostomy closed spontaneously at 8 weeks and 6 weeks,respectively,without any consequences.Spontaneous stoma closure is a rare and interesting event.The exact etiology for spontaneous closure remains unknown,but it may be hypothesized to result from slow retraction of the stoma,added to the concept of a tendency towards spontaneous closure of enterocutaneous fistula. | Narendra Pandit Harjeet Singh Hemanth Kumar Rajesh Gupta G.R.Verma | 2016 | Gastroenterology Report2016，4，4： | 0 |
