3Underwater three-dimensional imaging using narrowband MIMO array显示文摘To obtain high cross-range resolution, the underwater 3-D acoustic imaging system usually requires a rectangular array with a great number of sensors and a large physical size. To reduce the sensor number and the array physical size simultaneously, this paper proposes a new underwater 3-D acoustic imaging approach based on a novel multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) array. Specifically, the MIMO array is composed of four uniform linear arrays (ULAs) located on four sides of a rectangle. The transmitting array composed of two ULAs is located on a pair of opposite sides, and the receiving array composed of another two ULAs is located on the other two sides. Furthermore, narrowband waveforms coded with orthogonal polyphase sequences are employed as transmitting waveforms. When the subcode numbers in the polyphase coded sequences are sufficient, the MIMO array has the same 3-D imaging ability as a rectangular array, which has a two-time bigger size than that of the former. Consequently, the MIMO array can not only save a great number of sensors, but halve the array size, when compared to a rectangular array with the same cross-range resolution. 4Biexciton Auger recombination in mono-dispersed, quantum-confined CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals obeys universal volume-scaling显示文摘Auger recombination has been a long?standing obstacle to many prospective applications of colloidal quantum dots (QDs) ranging from lasing, light-emitting diodes to bio-labeling. As such, understanding the physical underpinnings and scaling laws for Auger recombination is essential to these applications. Previous studies of biexciton Auger recombination in various QDs established a universal scaling of biexciton lifetime (rxx) with QD volume (V):τxx =γV. However, recent measurements on perovskite nanocrystals (NCs), an emerging class of enablers for light harvest!ng and emitting applications, showed significant deviations from this universal scaling law, likely because the measured NCs are weakly-confined and also have relatively broad size-distributions. Here we study biexciton Auger recombination in mono-dispersed (size distributions within 1.7%—9.0%), quantunvconfined CsPbBr3 NCs (with confinement energy up to 410 meV) synthesized using a latest approach based on thermodynamic equilibrium control. Our measurements clearly reproduce the volume-scaling of τxx in confined CsPbBb QDs. 6Mineralogical characteristics of polymetallic sulfides from the Deyin-1 hydrothermal field near 15°S, southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge显示文摘A seafloor hydrothermal field, named Deyin-1 later, near 15°S southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge(SMAR) was newly found during the 22 nd cruise carried out by the China Ocean Mineral Resources Research & Development Association(COMRA). Sulfide samples were collected at three stations from the hydrothermal field during the26 th cruise in 2012. In this paper, mineralogical characteristics of the sulfides were analyzed with optical microscope, X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscope and electron microprobe to study the crystallization sequence of minerals and the process of hydrothermal mineralization. According to the difference of the ore-forming metal elements, the sulfide samples can be divided into three types:(1) the Ferich sulfide, which contains mainly pyrite and chalcopyrite;(2) the Fe-Cu-rich sulfide consisting predominantly of pyrite, chalcopyrite and isocubanite, with lesser amount of sphalerite, marmatite and pyrrhotine; and(3) the Fe-Zn-rich sulfide dominated by pyrite, sphalerite and marmatite, with variable amounts of chalcopyrite, isocubanite, pyrrhotine, marcasite, galena and gratonite. Mineral precipitations in these sulfides are in the sequence of chalcopyrite(isocubanite and possible coarse pyrite), fine pyrite,sphalerite(marmatite), galena, gratonite and then the minerals out of the dissolution. Two morphologically distinct generations(Py-I and Py-II) of pyrite are identified in each of the samples; inclusions of marmatite tend to exist in the coarse pyrite crystals(Py-I). Sphalerite in the Fe-Zn-rich sulfide is characterized by a'chalcopyrite disease' phenomenon. Mineral paragenetic relationships and a wide range of chemical compositions suggest that the environment of hydrothermal mineralization was largely changing. By comparison, the Fe-rich sulfide was formed in a relatively stable environment with a high temperature, but the conditions for the formation of the Fe-Cu-rich sulfide were variable. 7Geochemical Features of Sulfides from the Deyin-1 Hydrothermal Field at the Southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge near 15?S显示文摘In this study, geochemical compositions of elements in sulfide samples collected from the Deyin-1 hydrothermal field near the 15?S southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge(SMAR) were analyzed by the X-ray fluorescence spectrometry(XRF) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) to examine the enrichment regulations of ore-forming elements and hydrothermal mineralization. These sulfide precipitates can be classified macroscopically into three types: Fe-rich sulfide, Fe-Cu-rich sulfide and Fe-Zn-rich sulfide, and are characterized by the enrichment of base metal elements along with a sequence of Fe>Zn>Cu. Compared with sulfides from other hydrothermal fields on MAR, Zn concentrations of sulfides in the research area are significantly high, while Cu concentrations are relatively low. For all major, trace or rare-earth elements(REE), their concentrations and related characteristic parameters exhibit significant variations(up to one or two orders of magnitude), which indicates the sulfides from different hydrothermal vents or even a same station were formed at different stages of hydrothermal mineralization, and suggests the variations of chemical compositions of the hydrothermal fluid with respect to time. The hydrothermal temperatures of sulfides precipitation decreased gradually from station TVG10(st.TVG10) to st.TVG12, and to st.TVG11, indicating that the precipitation of hydrothermal sulfides is subjected to conditions changed from high temperature to low temperature, and that the hydrothermal activity of study area was at the late stage of a general trend of evolution from strong to weak. The abnormally low concentrations of REE in sulfides and their similar chondrite-normalized REE patterns show that REEs in all sulfides were derived from a same source, but underwent different processes of migration or enrichment, or sulfides were formed at different stages of hydrothermal mineralization. The sulfides collected from the active hydrothermal vent were mainly attributed to precipitating directly from the hydrothermal fluid, while those collected from the extinct hydrothermal chimney might have already been altered by the seawater. Generally, ore-forming elements in the sulfides can be divided into three groups: Fe-based element group, Cu-based element group and Zn-based element group. The first group includes Fe, Mn, Cr, Mo, Sn, Rb and bio-enriching elements, such as P and Si, reflecting the similar characteristics to Fe in the study area. And the second group contains Cu, W, Co, Se, Te and Bi, suggesting the similar behavior with Cu. 9Simultaneous determination of bisphenols, benzophenones and parabens in human urine by using UHPLC-TQMS显示文摘Bisphenols, benzophenones and parabens may alter one or more functions of endocrine system and consequently cause adverse health effects on human. A rapid and sensitive analytical method for the simultaneous determination of six bisphenols, five benzophenones and seven parabens in human urine by using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry was developed and applied for human urine sample analysis. The eighteen targeted compounds were separated within 11 min. Heated-electrospray ionization was operated with multiple reaction monitoring in negative-ion mode. The limit of detection ranged from 0.01 ng/mL to 0.5 ng/mL.Seven isotope-labeled internal standards were used in the quantitative analysis. After the method was validated for sensitivity, linearity, precision, accuracy and matrix effect, it was applied for the analysis of human urine samples to evaluate the profiles of human exposure. 10Trimester-specific urinary metabolome alterations associated with gestational diabetes mellitus:A study in different pregnancy stages显示文摘Gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM),a frequently-occurring disease during pregnancy,may cause some adverse healthy outcome of both mother and offspring.However,the knowledge about metabolite alterations during the pathogenesis and development process is limited.Here,a large longitudinal nontargeted metabolomics study of 195 pregnant women(64 women with subsequently developed GDM and131 healthy controls)was conducted.Each participant provided urine samples at three timepoints during early,middle and late pregnancy,respectively.The metabolic profiles of 585 urine samples(195×3)were measured by using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with Orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry.Among the 56 identified metabolites,the levels of eight metabolites increased and three ones decreased in the first trimester,the concentration of one metabolite increased and those of 20 decreased in the second trimester,as well as the levels of five metabolites increased and two decreased in the third trimester.After false discovery rate correction,the levels of valine and 5-acetamidovalerate in GDM group significantly increased in the first trimester,the levels of 1-methylguanine and 1,3-dihydro-(2 H)-indol-2-one significantly decreased in the second trimester and three metabolites(threonine,OH-octanedioyl-carnitine and pimelylcarnitine)increased and N-acetyltryptophan decreased in the third trimester,respectively.Six metabolites,such as pantothenic acid and threonine,had significant interaction effects between gestational stage(different trimester)and group(GDM or control).The differential metabolites were involved in“tryptophan metabolism”,“purine metabolism”,“valine,leucine and isoleucine degradation”and other pathways.The findings may provide insights into further pathogenesis study of GDM.Hongzhi Zhao Yuanyuan Zheng Lin Zhu Li Xiang Shunqing Xu Zongwei Cai 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:2

13Isolation and Preliminary Identification of Broad-spectrum Bacteriocin-producing Lactobacillus Strain CW3显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to screen and preliminarily identify Lactobacillus strain CW3. [Method]Oxford cup double-plate method was used for preliminary screening of broad-spectrum bacteriocin-producing Lactobacillus strain; after eliminating the interference of organic acid and hydrogen peroxide,antibacterial substances containing protein properties produced by the screened strain were detected; finally,the obtained strain was identified. [Result]After elimination of interference factors such as organic acid and hydrogen peroxide,the fermentation supernatant of strain CW3 could still inhibit the growth of indicator strains; the antibacterial activity of fermentation broth was significantly reduced after treatment with trypsase and pepsase,which indicated that the produced antibacterial substances were bacteriocins. Results of physiological and biochemical identification showed that strain CW3 belonged to Lactobacillus plantarum.
