1Upconversion nanoparticles regulated drug&gas dual-effective nanoplatform for the targeting cooperated therapy of thrombus and anticoagulation显示文摘Thromboembolism is the leading cause of cardiovascular mortality.Currently,for the lack of targeting,short half-life,low bioavailability and high bleeding risk of the classical thrombolytic drugs,pharmacological thrombolysis is usually a slow process based on micro-pumping.In addition,frequently monitoring and regulating coagulation functions are also required during(and after)the process of thrombolysis.To address these issues,a targeted thrombolytic and anticoagulation nanoplatform(UCATS-UK)is developed based on upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)that can convert 808 or 980 nm near-infrared(NIR)light into UV/blue light.This nanoplatform can target and enrich in the thrombus site.Synergistic thrombolysis and anticoagulation therapy thus could be realized through the controlled release of urokinase(UK)and nitric oxide(NO).Both in vitro and in vivo experiments have confirmed the excellent thrombolytic and anticoagulative capabilities of this multifunctional nanoplatform.Combined with the unique fluorescent imaging capability of UCNPs,this work is expected to contribute to the development of clinical thrombolysis therapy towards an integrated system of imaging,diagnosis and treatment.Shichen Liu Yao Sun Teng Zhang Longtao Cao Zhiwei Zhong Haoxin Cheng Qingqing Wang Zhuang Qiu Weimin Zhou Xiaolei Wang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,12:1

3Yellow responsive material based modification to reduce earphone induced Infection and hearing loss显示文摘Today,earphones have almost been owned by everyone.However,wearing earphones for a long time can cause two serious problems:(1)irreversible damage to hearing;(2)rapid proliferation of bacteria in the ear canal.Herein,an earphone modification strategy is developed for the first time,to reduce hearing loss and inhibit bacteria simultaneously.This earphone is equipped with a high purity yellow light(YL)light-emitting diode chip developed by our university.Then,the surface of the earphone is loaded with porous zinc oxide and silver nanoparticle composite material(ZnO-Ag)that can respond to the YL.Under the excitation of YL,the porous ZnO-Ag can release reactive oxygen species with strong antibacterial activity.More importantly,we discover that YL can reduce the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-3,the secretion of inflammatory factors,and apoptosis in the cochlea,thereby effectively reduce hearing loss.Haoxin Cheng Hongmei Liu Zhiqiang Liu Ziying Xu Xiaorong Liu Shuang Jia Chaonan He Shichen Liu Jiao Zhang Xiaolei Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
4The Warm Arctic-Cold Eurasia Pattern and Its Key Region in Winter in CMIP6 Model Simulations显示文摘An enhanced Warm Arctic-Cold Eurasia(WACE)pattern has been a notable feature in recent winters of the Northern Hemisphere.However,divergent results between model and observational studies of the WACE still remain.This study evaluates the performance of 39 climate models participating in the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6)in simulating the WACE pattern in winter of 1980-2014 and explores the key factors causing the differences in the simulation capability among the models.The results show that the multimodel ensemble(MME)can better simulate the spatial distribution of the WACE pattern than most single models.Models that can/cannot simulate both the climatology and the standard deviation of the Eurasian winter surface air temperature well,especially the latter,usually can/cannot simulate the WACE pattern well.This mainly results from the different abilities of the models to simulate the range and intensity of the warm anomaly in the Barents Sea-Kara seas(BKS)region.Further analysis shows that a good performance of the models in the BKS area is usually related to their ability to simulate location and persistence of Ural blocking(UB),which can transport heat to the BKS region,causing the warm Arctic,and strengthen the westerly trough downstream,cooling central Eurasia.Therefore,simulation of UB is key and significantly affects the model’s performance in simulating the WACE.Liang ZHAO Yunwen LIU Yihui DING Qingquan LI Wei DONG Xinyong SHEN Wei CHENG Haoxin YAO Ziniu XIAO 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,12:0
