1Relationship of gelatinases-tight junction proteins and blood-brain barrier permeability in the early stage of cerebral ischemia and reperfusion显示文摘Gelatinases matrix metalloproteinase-2 and matrix metalloproteinase-9 have been shown to mediate claudin-5 and occludin degradation, and play an important regulatory role in blood-brain barrier permeability. This study established a rat model of 1.5-hour middle cerebral artery occlusion with reperfusion. Protein expression levels of claudin-5 and occludin gradually decreased in the early stage of reperfusion, which corresponded to the increase of the gelatinolytic activity of matrix metalloproteinase-2 and matrix metalloproteinase-9. In addition, rats that received treatment with matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor N-[(2R)-2-(hydroxamidocarbonylmethyl)-4-methylpenthanoyl]-L- tryptophan methylamide (GM6001) showed a significant reduction in Evans blue leakage and an inhibition of claudin-5 and occludin protein degradation in striatal tissue. These data indicate that matrix metalloproteinase-2 and matrix metalloproteinase-9-mediated claudin-5 and occludin degradation is an important reason for blood-brain barrier leakage in the early stage of reperfusion. The leakage of the blood-brain barrier was present due to gelatinases-mediated degradation of claudin-5 and occludin proteins. 2Optimized weak measurement of orbital angular momentum-induced beam shifts in optical reflection显示文摘Tiny but universal beam shifts occur when a polarized light beam is reflected upon a planar interface.Although the beam shifts of Gaussian beams have been measured by the weak measurement technique, the weak measurement for orbital angular momentum(OAM)-induced spatial shifts of vortex beams is still missing.Here, by elaborately choosing the preselection and postselection states, the tiny OAM-induced Goos–H?nchen and Imbert–Fedorov shifts are amplified at an air–prism interface. The maximum shifts along directions both parallel and perpendicular to the incident plane are theoretically predicted and experimentally verified with optimal preselection and postselection states. 3GCR-Net:3D Graph convolution-based residual network for robust reconstruction in cerenkov luminescence tomography显示文摘Cerenkov Luminescence Tomography(CLT)is a novel and potential imaging modality which can display the three-dimensional distribution of radioactive probes.However,due to severe ill-posed inverse problem,obtaining accurate reconstruction results is still a challenge for traditional model-based methods.The recently emerged deep learning-based methods can directly learn the mapping relation between the surface photon intensity and the distribution of the radioactive source,which effectively improves the performance of CLT reconstruction.However,the previously proposed deep learning-based methods cannot work well when the order of input is disarranged.In this paper,a novel 3D graph convolution-based residual network,GCR-Net,is proposed,which can obtain a robust and accurate reconstruction result from the photon intensity of the surface.Additionally,it is proved that the network is insensitive to the order of input.The performance of this method was evaluated with numerical simulations and in vivo experiments.The results demonstrated that compared with the existing methods,the proposed method can achieve efficient and accurate reconstruction in localization and shape recovery by utilizing threedimensional information.Weitong Li Mengfei Du Yi Chen Haolin Wang Linzhi Su Huangjian Yi Fengjun Zhao Kang Li Lin Wang Xin Cao 2023Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,1:0

5Simulation-based Estimation of Thermal Behavior of Direct Feed Drive Mechanism with Updated Finite Element Model显示文摘Linear motors generate high heat and cause significant deformation in high speed direct feed drive mechanisms.It is relevant to estimate their deformation behavior to improve their application in precision machine tools.This paper describes a method to estimate its thermal deformation based on updated finite element(FE)model methods.Firstly,a FE model is established for a linear motor drive test rig that includes the correlation between temperature rise and its resulting deformation.The relationship between the input and output variables of the FE model is identified with a modified multivariate input/output least square support vector regression machine.Additionally,the temperature rise and displacements at some critical points on the mechanism are obtained experimentally by a system of thermocouples and an interferometer.The FE model is updated through intelligent comparison between the experimentally measured values and the results from the regression machine.The experiments for testing thermal behavior along with the updated FE model simulations is conducted on the test rig in reciprocating cycle drive conditions.The results show that the intelligently updated FE model can be implemented to analyze the temperature variation distribution of the mechanism and to estimate its thermal behavior.The accuracy of the thermal behavior estimation with the optimally updated method can be more than double that of the initial theoretical FE model.This paper provides a simulation method that is effective to estimate the thermal behavior of the direct feed drive mechanism with high accuracy.LIN Xiankun LI Yanjun LI Haolin 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,5:0
6MXene/PPy@PDMS sponge-based flexible pressure sensor for human posture recognition with the assistance of a convolutional neural network in deep learning显示文摘The combination of flexible sensors and deep learning has attracted much attention as an efficient method for the recognition of human postures.In this paper,an in situ polymerized MXene/polypyrrole(PPy)composite is dip-coated on a polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)sponge to fabricate an MXene/PPy@PDMS(MPP)piezoresistive sensor.The sponge sensor achieves ultrahigh sensitivity(6.8925 kPa^(−1))at 0-15 kPa,a short response/recovery time(100/110 ms),excellent stability(5000 cycles)and wash resistance.The synergistic effect of PPy and MXene improves the performance of the composite materials and facilitates the transfer of electrons,making the MPP sponge at least five times more sensitive than sponges based on each of the individual single materials.The large-area conductive network allows the MPP sensor to maintain excellent electrical performance over a large-scale pressure range.The MPP sensor can detect a variety of human body activity signals,such as radial artery pulse and different joint movements.The detection and analysis of human motion data,which is assisted by convolutional neural network(CNN)deep learning algorithms,enable the recognition and judgment of 16 types of human postures.The MXene/PPy flexible pressure sensor based on a PDMS sponge has broad application prospects in human motion detection,intelligent sensing and wearable devices.Hui Xia Lin Wang Hao Zhang Zihu Wang Liang Zhu Haolin Cai Yanhua Ma Zhe Yang Dongzhi Zhang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,6:0
7Differentiation of Wheat Diseases and Pests Based on Hyperspectral Imaging Technology with a Few Specific Bands显示文摘Hyperspectral imaging technique is known as a promising non-destructive way for detecting plants diseases and pests.In most previous studies,the utilization of the whole spectrum or a large number of bands as well as the complexity of model structure severely hampers the application of the technique in practice.If a detection system can be established with a few bands and a relatively simple logic,it would be of great significance for application.This study established a method for identifying and discriminating three commonly occurring diseases and pests of wheat,i.e.,powdery mildew,yellow rust and aphid with a few specific bands.Through a comprehensive spectral analysis,only three bands at 570,680 and 750 nm were selected.A novel vegetation index namely Ratio Triangular Vegetation Index(RTVI)was developed for detecting anomalous areas on leaves.Then,the Support Vector Machine(SVM)method was applied to construct the discrimination model based on the spectral ratio analysis.The validating results suggested that the proposed method with only three spectral bands achieved a promising accuracy with the Overall Accuracy(OA)of 83%.With three bands from the hyperspectral imaging data,the three wheat diseases and pests were successfully detected and discriminated.A stepwise strategy including background removal,damage lesions recognition and stresses discrimination was proposed.The present work can provide a basis for the design of low cost and smart instruments for disease and pest detection.Lin Yuan Jingcheng Zhang Quan Deng Yingying Dong Haolin Wang Xiankun Du 2023Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,2:0
8Achieving Superior Superplasticity in a Mg-6Al-Zn Plate via Multi-pass Submerged Friction Stir Processing显示文摘A large-scale Mg-6Al-Zn plate was prepared by multi-pass submerged friction stir processing(M-SFSP)and its superplastic deformation behavior was investigated.The maximum elongation of 467%,332%and 421%was attained for the samples oriented in the processing direction(PD),45°tilted toward the PD,and transverse direction(TD),respectively,when deformed at 623 K and a strain rate of 1×10^(−3) s^(−1).This was attributed to the homogeneous and fine-grained structure with mostly high-angle grain boundaries facilitating the prevalent deformation mechanism of grain boundary sliding,along with the weakened texture and dynamic recrystallization during hot deformation.Xicai Luo Haolin Liu Limei Kang Jielin Lin Datong Zhang Dongyang Li Daolun Chen 2022Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,5:0
