Optimization Scheme of Large Passenger Flow in Huoying Station,Line 13 of Beijing Subway System显示文摘This paper focuses on the distribution of passenger flow in Huoying Station,Line 13 of Beijing subway system. The transformation measures taken by Line 13 since operation are firstly summarized. Then the authors elaborate the facilities and equipment of this station, especially the node layout and passenger flow field. An optimization scheme is proposed to rapidly distribute the passenger flow in Huoying Station by adjusting the operation time of the escalator in the direction of Xizhimen. The authors adopt Queuing theory and Anylogic simulation software to simulate the original and the optimized schemes of Huoying Station to distribute the passenger flow. The results of the simulation indicate that the optimized scheme could effectively alleviate the traffic congestion in the hall of Huoying Station, and the pedestrian density in other places of the hall is lowered;passengers could move freely in the hall and no new congestion points would form. The rationality of the scheme is thus proved. | Jin Zhou Haochen Wang Di Sun Siqiang Xu Meng Lv Feifei Yu | 2020 | Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,6: | 2

Lysohexaenetides A and B,linear lipopeptides from Lysobacter sp.DSM 3655 identified by heterologous expression in Streptomyces显示文摘Lysobacter harbors a plethora of cryptic biosynthetic gene clusters(BGCs),albeit only a limited number have been analyzed to date.In this study,we described the activation of a cryptic polyketide synthase(PKS)/nonribosomal peptide synthetase(NRPS)gene cluster(lsh)in Lysobacter sp.DSM 3655 through promoter engineering and heterologous expression in Streptomyces sp.S001.As a result of this methodology,we were able to isolate two novel linear lipopeptides, lysohexaenetides A(1)and B(2),from the recombinant strain S001-lsh.Furthermore,we proposed the biosynthetic pathway for lysohexaenetides and identified LshA as another example of entirely iterative bacterial PKSs.This study highlights the potential of heterologous expression systems in uncovering cryptic biosynthetic pathways in Lysobacter genomes, particularly in the absence of genetic manipulation tools. | XU Qiushuang ZOU Haochen PAN Chen WANG Haoxin SHEN Yuemao LI Yaoyao | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,6: | 1
Modeling and Experimental Evaluation of a Bionic Soft Pneumatic Gripper with Joint Actuator显示文摘The pneumatic gripper in industrial applications has the advantages of structure simplicity and great adaptability, but its gripping power is usually limited due to the low modulus of soft materials. To address this problem,a novel bionic pneumatic gripper inspired by spider legs is proposed. The design has two pairs of symmetrical fingers, each finger consists of two pneumatic actuated joints, two rigid links and one pneumatic soft pad.The rigid link connects the pneumatic chamber which is enclosed in a retractable shell to increase the actuation pressure and the gripping force. The compressibility and elasticity of the soft joint and pad enable the gripper to grasp fragile objects without damage. The modeling of the bionic gripper is developed, and the parameters of the joint actuators are optimized accordingly. The prototype is manufactured and tested with the developed experimental platform, where the gripping force, flexibility and adaptability are evaluated. The results indicate that the designed gripper can grasp irregular and fragile items in sizes from 40 to 140 mm without damage, and the lifting weight is up to 15 N. | Ming Ma Quansheng Jiang Haochen Wang Yehu Shen Fengyu Xu | 2023 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2023,20,4: | 0
Introduction to bioimaging-based spatial multi-omic novel methods显示文摘Background: Spatial multi-omics are demonstrated to be a powerful method to assist researchers on genetic studies. In this review, bioimaging-based spatial multi-omics techniques such as seqFISH+, merFISH, integrated DNA seqFISH+, DNA merFISH, and MINA are introduced along with each technique’s probe design, development, and imaging processes. Results: seqFISH employed 4–5 fluorophores to barcode and conducted multiple rounds of hybridization, in order that mRNA can be identified through color-coding. seqFISH+ added 60 pseudo-color and distributed them equally into three channels to enhance imaging power, in order that i.e., 24,000 genes can be imaged in total. merFISH utilized 4 out 16 Hamming distance to innovatively provide a robust error-detecting method. MINA, a methodology combining merFISH (multiplexed error-robust fluorescence in situ hybridization) and chromosomal tracing, enabled multiplexed genomic architecture imaged in mammalian single cells. Optical reconstruction of chromatin architecture (ORCA) a method that could conduct DNA path tracing in nanoscale manner with kilobase resolution, an FISH variation that improved genetic resolution, enable high-precision fiducial registration and sequential imaging, and utilized Oligopaint probe to hybridize the short genomic region ranging from 2 to 10 kilobase. ORCA then prescribes these short section primary probes with individual barcodes to attach fluorophore and to be imaged. Conclusion: This review concentrated on providing a comprehensive overview for these spatial-multi-omics techniques with the intention on helping researchers on selecting appropriate technique for their research. | Yan Yan Liheng Yang Leyuan Meng Haochen Su Cheng Zhou Le Yu Zhengtu Li Xu Zhang Huihua Cai Juntao Gao | 2023 | Quantitative Biology2023,11,3: | 0
Research on the Impacts of the Inertia and Droop Control Gains from a Variable-Speed Wind Turbine Generator on the Frequency Response显示文摘System frequency must be kept very close to its nominal range to ensure the stability of an electric power grid.Excessive system frequency variations are able to result in load shedding, frequency instability, and even generator damage. With increasing wind power penetration, there is rising concern about the reduction in inertia response and primary frequency control in the electric power grid.Converter-based wind generation is capable of providing inertia response and primary frequency response;nevertheless, the primary frequency and inertia responses of wind generation are different from those of conventional synchronous fleets;it is not completely understood how the primary frequency and inertia responses affect the given system under various disturbances and available kinetic energy levels.Simulations are used to investigate the influences of inertia and droop control strategies on the dynamic frequency responses, particularly the index of the second frequency drop under various disturbance and wind conditions.A quantitative analysis provides insight into setting of inertia and droop control coefficients for various wind and disturbance conditions to facilitate adequate dynamic frequency responses during frequency events. | Dejian Yang Yien Xu Tong Zhu Yang Wang Qiuhan Cao Yuang Ma Enshu Jin Xinsong Zhang Haochen Sun | 2022 | Energy Engineering2022,119,2: | 0
Disturbance rejection for biped robots during walking and running using control moment gyroscopes显示文摘Keeping balance in movement is an important premise for biped robots to complete various tasks. Now,the balance control of biped robots mainly depends on the cooperation of various joints of the robot's body. When robots move faster, the adjustment allowance of joints is reduced, and the robot's anti-disturbance ability will inevitably decline. To solve this problem, the control moment gyroscope(CMG)is creatively used as an auxiliary stabilisation device for fully actuated biped robots and the CMG assistance strategy, which can be integrated into the biped's balance control framework,is proposed. This strategy includes model predictive control module, distribution module, and CMG precession controller.Under the command of it,CMGs can effectively assist the robot in resisting impact and returning to initial positions in time. The results of anti-impact simulation on the walking and running biped robot prove that, with the help of CMGs,the robot's ability to resist disturbance and remain stable is significantly improved. The cover image is based on the Original Article Disturbance rejection for biped robots during walking and running using control moment gyroscopes by Haochen Xu et al.,http://gffzzd3cc09b8251d45dfspw6ouvkp65wk6wbv.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/10.1049/csy2.12070. | Haochen Xu Zhangguo Yu Xuechao Chen Chencheng Dong Huanzhong Chen Qiang Huang | 2022 | IET Cyber-Systems and Robotics2022,4,4: | 0
Anti-Interference Low-Power Double-Edge Triggered Flip-Flop Based on C-Elements显示文摘When the input signal has been interfered and glitches occur, the power consumption of Double-Edge Triggered Flip-Flops(DETFFs)will significantly increase. To effectively reduce the power consumption, this paper presents an anti-interference low-power DETFF based on C-elements.The improved C-element is used in this DETFF,which effectively blocks the glitches in the input signal, prevents redundant transitions inside the DETFF,and reduces the charge and discharge frequencies of the transistor. The C-element has also added pull-up and pull-down paths, reducing its latency.Compared with other existing DETFFs,the DETFF proposed in this paper only flips once on the clock edge, which greatly reduces the redundant transitions caused by glitches and effectively reduces power consumption. This paper uses HSPICE to simulate the proposed DETFF and other 10 DETFFs.The findings show that compared with the other 10 types of DETFFs,the proposed DETFF has achieved large performance indexes in the total power consumption, total power consumption with glitches, delays, and power delay product.A detailed analysis of variance indicates that the proposed DETFF features less sensitivity to process, voltage, temperature, and Negative Bias Temperature Instability(NBTI)-induced aging variations. | Zhengfeng Huang Xiao Yang Tai Song Haochen Qi Yiming Ouyang Tianming Ni Qi Xu | 2022 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,1: | 0
Protective effects of dioscin against Parkinson's disease via regulating bile acid metabolism through remodeling gut microbiome/GLP-1 signaling显示文摘It is necessary to explore potent therapeutic agents via regulating gut microbiota and metabolism to combat Parkinson's disease(PD).Dioscin,a bioactive steroidal saponin, shows various activities. However, its effects and mechanisms against PD are limited. In this study, dioscin dramatically alleviated neuroinflammation and oxidative stress, and restored the disorders of mice induced by 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine(MPTP).16 S rDNA sequencing assay demonstrated that dioscin reversed MPTP-induced gut dysbiosis to decrease Firmicutes-to-Bacteroidetes ratio and the abundances of Enterococcus,Streptococcus,Bacteroides and Lactobacillus genera, which further inhibited bile salt hydrolase(BSH)activity and blocked bile acid(BA)deconjugation.Fecal microbiome transplantation test showed that the anti-PD effect of dioscin was gut microbiota-dependent.In addition,non-targeted fecal metabolomics assays revealed many differential metabolites in adjusting steroid biosynthesis and primary bile acid biosynthesis. Moreover, targeted bile acid metabolomics assay indicated that dioscin increased the levels of ursodeoxycholic acid, tauroursodeoxycholic acid, taurodeoxycholic acid and bmuricholic acid in feces and serum. In addition, ursodeoxycholic acid administration markedly improved the protective effects of dioscin against PD in mice.Mechanistic test indicated that dioscin significantly up-regulated the levels of takeda G protein-coupled receptor 5(TGR5),glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor(GLP-1R),GLP-1,superoxide dismutase(SOD),and down-regulated NADPH oxidases 2(NOX2)and nuclear factor-kappaB(NF-kB)levels.Our data indicated that dioscin ameliorated PD phenotype by restoring gut dysbiosis and regulating bile acid-mediated oxidative stress and neuroinflammation via targeting GLP-1 signal in MPTP-induced PD mice, suggesting that the compound should be considered as a prebiotic agent to treat PD in the future. | Zhang Mao Haochen Hui Xuerong Zhao Lina Xu Yan Qi Lianhong Yin Liping Qu Lan Han Jinyong Peng | 2023 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,10: | 0
A novel herbivorous wood-borer insect outbreak triggers die-offs of a foundation plant species in coastal ecosystems显示文摘Introduction:Understanding the trophic interactions between plants and herbivorous insects is essential for managing the ecosystem health and sustainability in the context of climate change and anthropogenic disturbance. The Tamarix chinensis is a foundation plant species of salt marshes in northern China, which provides a variety of ecological functions and services in coastal ecosystems such as withstanding storm tide, conserving biodiversity, and preventing shoreline erosion.Outcomes:However, through long-term field observations, for the first time,we found that the health of this population has been suffering from the potential outbreak of a novel wood-borer insect(Zeuzera leuconotum Butler)under multiple stresses, contributing substantially to the degradation of the coastal salt marshes.Discussion and Conclusion:Therefore, there is urgent need and great significance to investigate the potential impact of this herbivorous wood-borer insects on health and sustainability of plant community in coastal ecosystems for in-depth understanding its degradation mechanisms. | Zhonghua Ning Cong Chen Tian Xie Qing Wang Xu Ma Haochen Sui Baoshan Cui | 2020 | Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2020,6,1: | 0
Heterogeneous influence of individuals’ behavior on mask efficacy in gathering environments显示文摘Wearing masks is an easy way to operate and popular measure for preventing epidemics.Although masks can slow down the spread of viruses, their efficacy in gathering environments involving heterogeneous person-to-person contacts remains unknown. Therefore,we aim to investigate the epidemic prevention effect of masks in different real-life gathering environments. This study uses four real interpersonal contact datasets to construct four empirical networks to represent four gathering environments. The transmission of COVID-19 is simulated using the Monte Carlo simulation method. The heterogeneity of individuals can cause mask efficacy in a specific gathering environment to be different from the baseline efficacy in general society.Furthermore, the heterogeneity of gathering environments causes the epidemic prevention effect of masks to differ.Wearing masks can greatly reduce the probability of clustered epidemics and the infection scale in primary schools, high schools, and hospitals. However, the use of masks alone in primary schools and hospitals cannot control outbreaks. In high schools with social distancing between classes and in workplaces where the interpersonal contact is relatively sparse, masks can meet the need for prevention.Given the heterogeneity of individual behavior,if individuals who are more active in terms of interpersonal contact are prioritized for mask-wearing,the epidemic prevention effect of masks can be improved. Finally, asymptomatic infection has varying effects on the prevention effect of masks in different environments. The effect can be weakened or eliminated by increasing the usage rate of masks in high schools and workplaces. However, the effect on primary schools and hospitals cannot be weakened. This study contributes to the accurate evaluation of mask efficacy in various gathering environments to provide scientific guidance for epidemic prevention. | Haochen SUN Xiaofan LIU Zhanwei DU Ye WU Haifeng ZHANG Xiaoke XU | 2022 | Frontiers of Engineering Management2022,9,4: | 0
Study on the Vibration Reduction Characteristics of FWMAV Flexible Bionic Wings Mimicking the Hindwings of Trypoxylus dichotomus显示文摘Using the method of structural finite element topology optimization and analysis of the hindwings of Trypoxylus dichotomus, this work identified the main loading force transmission path and designed the initial structure of a bionic flexible wing.A structural design scheme of the vibration damping unit was proposed, and the structural mechanics and modal vibration characteristics were simulated and analyzed.3D printing technology was used to manufacture the designed bionic wing skeleton, which was combined with two kinds of wing membrane materials. The Flapping Wing Micro-aerial Vehicle(FWMAV)transmission mechanism vibration characteristics were observed and analyzed by a high-speed digital camera.A triaxial force transducer was used to record the force vibration of the flexible bionic wing flapping in a wind tunnel.A wavelet processing method was used to process and analyze the force signal. The results showed that the force amplitude was more stable, the waveform roughness was the lowest, and the peak shaving phenomenon at the z-axis was the least obvious for the bionic flexible wing model that combined the topology-optimized bionic wing skeleton with a polyamide elastic membrane. This was determined to be the most suitable design scheme for the wings of FWMAVs. | Yongwei Yan Fa Song Nuo Xu Haochen Zhu Hongxu Xing Shujun Zhang Jiyu Sun | 2023 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2023,20,5: | 0
