1Sodium tungsten bronze(Na_(x)WO_(3))-doped near-infrared-shielding bulk glasses for energy-saving applications显示文摘Tungsten bronze coatings and films have attracted global attention for their applications in near-infrared(NIR)-shielding windows.However,they are unstable in strong ultraviolet,humid heat,alkaline and/or oxidizing environments and are difficult to be coated on glass surfaces with complex shape.Here,we address these limitations by doping sodium tungsten bronze(Na_(x)WO_(3))into bulk glasses using a simple glass melting method.X-ray diffraction,Raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,TEM and SEM-EDS characterization confirmed the presence of sodium tungsten bronze(Na_(x)WO_(3))functional units inside the 34SiO_(2)-38B_(2)O_(3)-28NaF glass matrix.Because the functional units are well protected by the glass matrix,the fabricated glasses are stable under hot,humid,oxidizing conditions,as well as under ambient conditions,with no change after 360 days.The NIR-shielding performance of these glasses can be adjusted to as high as 100%by varying WO_(x)concentration(2-8 mol%)and quenching temperature(1000-1400℃).With a content of 6 mol%WO_(x)and a quenching temperature of 1000℃,the bulk glass shows 63%transmission of visible light and only 11%transmission of NIR light at 1100 nm.Thermal insulation experiments show that the NIR-shielding performance of the glasses are far superior to commercial soda lime window glass or indium-doped tin oxide(ITO)glass,and comparable to cesium tungsten bronze coated glass.The novel bulk glasses have higher stability,simpler processing,and can be easily made into complex shapes,making them excellent alternative materials for energy-saving glasses.Guang Yang Yunhang Qi Daming Hu Haochen Wang Hongfei Chen Liangmiao Zhang Chuanxiang Cao Bin Liu Fang Xia Yanfeng Gao 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,30:3
2Enhanced photon communication through Bayesian estimation with an SNSPD array显示文摘Laser communication using photons should consider not only the transmission environment’s effects,but also the performance of the single-photon detector used and the photon number distribution.Photon communication based on the superconducting nanowire single-photon detector(SNSPD)is a new technology that addresses the current sensitivity limitations at the level of single photons in deep space communication.The communication’s bit error rate(BER)is limited by dark noise in the space environment and the photon number distribution with a traditional single-pixel SNSPD,which is unable to resolve the photon number distribution.In this work,an enhanced photon communication method was proposed based on the photon number resolving function of four-pixel array SNSPDs.A simulated picture transmission was carried out,and the error rate in this counting mode can be reduced by 2 orders of magnitude when compared with classical optical communication.However,in the communication mode using photon-enhanced counting,the four-pixel response amplitude for counting was found to restrain the communication rate,and this counting mode is extremely dependent on the incident light intensity through experiments,which limits the sensitivity and speed of the SNSPD array’s performance advantage.Therefore,a BER theoretical calculation model for laser communication was presented using the Bayesian estimation algorithm in order to analyze the selection of counting methods for information acquisition under different light intensities and to make better use of the SNSPD array’s high sensitivity and speed and thus to obtain a lower BER.The counting method and theoretical model proposed in this work refer to array SNSPDs in the deep space field.XIANG LI JINGROU TAN KAIMIN ZHENG LABAO ZHANG LIJIAN ZHANG WEIJI HE PENGWEI HUANG HAOCHEN LI BIAO ZHANG QI CHEN RUI GE SHUYA GUO TAO HUANG XIAOQING JIA QINGYUAN ZHAO XUECOU TU LIN KANG JIAN CHEN PEIHENG WU 2020Photonics Research2020,8,5:1
3Effect of calcination temperature on the pozzolanic activity of maize straw stem ash treated with portlandite solution显示文摘The effect of calcination temperature on the pozzolanic activity of maize straw stem ash(MSSA)was evaluated.The MSSA samples calcined at temperature values of 500,700,and 850℃ were dissolved in portlandite solution for 6 h,thereby obtaining residual samples.The MSSA and MSSA residual samples were analyzed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray powder diffraction scanning electron microscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy to determine vibration bonds,minerals,microstructures,and Si 2p transformation behavior.The conductivity,pH value,and loss of conductivity with dissolving time of the MSSA-portlandite mixed solution were also determined.The main oxide composition of MSSA was silica and potassium oxide.The dissolution of the Si^(4+) content of MSSA at 500℃ was higher than those of the other calcination temperatures.The conductivity and loss of conductivity of MSSA at 700℃ were higher than those of the other calcination temperatures at a particular dissolving time due to the higher KCl content in MSSA at 700℃.C-S-H was easily identified in MSSA samples using X-ray powder diffraction,and small cubic and nearly spherical particles of C-S-H were found in the MSSA residual samples.In conclusion,the optimum calcination temperature of MSSA having the best pozzolanic activity is 500℃,but excessive agglomeration must be prevented.Tingye Qi Haochen Wang Guorui Feng Yujiang Zhang Jinwen Bai Yanna Han 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,6:0
4Anti-Interference Low-Power Double-Edge Triggered Flip-Flop Based on C-Elements显示文摘When the input signal has been interfered and glitches occur,the power consumption of Double-Edge Triggered Flip-Flops(DETFFs)will significantly increase.To effectively reduce the power consumption,this paper presents an anti-interference low-power DETFF based on C-elements.The improved C-element is used in this DETFF,which effectively blocks the glitches in the input signal,prevents redundant transitions inside the DETFF,and reduces the charge and discharge frequencies of the transistor.The C-element has also added pull-up and pull-down paths,reducing its latency.Compared with other existing DETFFs,the DETFF proposed in this paper only flips once on the clock edge,which greatly reduces the redundant transitions caused by glitches and effectively reduces power consumption.This paper uses HSPICE to simulate the proposed DETFF and other 10 DETFFs.The findings show that compared with the other 10 types of DETFFs,the proposed DETFF has achieved large performance indexes in the total power consumption,total power consumption with glitches,delays,and power delay product.A detailed analysis of variance indicates that the proposed DETFF features less sensitivity to process,voltage,temperature,and Negative Bias Temperature Instability(NBTI)-induced aging variations.Zhengfeng Huang Xiao Yang Tai Song Haochen Qi Yiming Ouyang Tianming Ni Qi Xu 2022Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,1:0
5Protective effects of dioscin against Parkinson's disease via regulating bile acid metabolism through remodeling gut microbiome/GLP-1 signaling显示文摘It is necessary to explore potent therapeutic agents via regulating gut microbiota and metabolism to combat Parkinson's disease(PD).Dioscin,a bioactive steroidal saponin,shows various activities.However,its effects and mechanisms against PD are limited.In this study,dioscin dramatically alleviated neuroinflammation and oxidative stress,and restored the disorders of mice induced by 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine(MPTP).16 S rDNA sequencing assay demonstrated that dioscin reversed MPTP-induced gut dysbiosis to decrease Firmicutes-to-Bacteroidetes ratio and the abundances of Enterococcus,Streptococcus,Bacteroides and Lactobacillus genera,which further inhibited bile salt hydrolase(BSH)activity and blocked bile acid(BA)deconjugation.Fecal microbiome transplantation test showed that the anti-PD effect of dioscin was gut microbiota-dependent.In addition,non-targeted fecal metabolomics assays revealed many differential metabolites in adjusting steroid biosynthesis and primary bile acid biosynthesis.Moreover,targeted bile acid metabolomics assay indicated that dioscin increased the levels of ursodeoxycholic acid,tauroursodeoxycholic acid,taurodeoxycholic acid and bmuricholic acid in feces and serum.In addition,ursodeoxycholic acid administration markedly improved the protective effects of dioscin against PD in mice.Mechanistic test indicated that dioscin significantly up-regulated the levels of takeda G protein-coupled receptor 5(TGR5),glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor(GLP-1R),GLP-1,superoxide dismutase(SOD),and down-regulated NADPH oxidases 2(NOX2)and nuclear factor-kappaB(NF-kB)levels.Our data indicated that dioscin ameliorated PD phenotype by restoring gut dysbiosis and regulating bile acid-mediated oxidative stress and neuroinflammation via targeting GLP-1 signal in MPTP-induced PD mice,suggesting that the compound should be considered as a prebiotic agent to treat PD in the future.Zhang Mao Haochen Hui Xuerong Zhao Lina Xu Yan Qi Lianhong Yin Liping Qu Lan Han Jinyong Peng 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,10:0
6Improvement of Ga_(2)O_(3)vertical Schottky barrier diode by constructing NiO/Ga_(2)O_(3)heterojunction显示文摘The high critical electric field strength of Ga_(2)O_(3)enables higher operating voltages and reduced switching losses in power electronic devices.Suitable Schottky metals and epitaxial films are essential for further enhancing device performance.In this work,the fabrication of vertical Ga_(2)O_(3)barrier diodes with three different barrier metals was carried out on an n--Ga_(2)O_(3)homogeneous epitaxial film deposited on an n+-β-Ga_(2)O_(3)substrate by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition,excluding the use of edge terminals.The ideal factor,barrier height,specific on-resistance,and breakdown voltage characteristics of all devices were investigated at room temperature.In addition,the vertical Ga_(2)O_(3)barrier diodes achieve a higher breakdown volt-age and exhibit a reverse leakage as low as 4.82×10^(-8)A/cm^(2)by constructing a NiO/Ga_(2)O_(3)heterojunction.Therefore,Ga_(2)O_(3)power detailed investigations into Schottky barrier metal and NiO/Ga_(2)O_(3)heterojunction of Ga_(2)O_(3)homogeneous epitaxial films are of great research potential in high-efficiency,high-power,and high-reliability applications.Xueqiang Ji Jinjin Wang Song Qi Yijie Liang Shengrun Hu Haochen Zheng Sai Zhang Jianying Yue Xiaohui Qi Shan Li Zeng Liu Lei Shu Weihua Tang Peigang Li 2024Journal of Semiconductors2024,45,4:0
