| 4 | Effects of reaction temperature,time and particle size on switchgrass microwave pyrolysis and reaction kinetics显示文摘This study investigated microwave pyrolysis of switchgrass with particle sizes from 0.5 mm to 4 mm and determined the effects of reaction temperature and time on the yields of bio-oil,syngas,and bio-char.A prediction model was satisfactorily developed to describe the bio-oil conversion yield as a function of reaction temperature and time.Second-order reaction kinetics was also developed to model the switchgrass pyrolysis.Switchgrass with different particle sizes was found to be similarly pyrolyzed by microwave heating.The research results indicated that thermochemical conversion reactions can take place rapidly in large-sized switchgrass by using microwave pyrolysis.GC-MS analysis indicates that the bio-oil contained a series of important and useful chemical compounds:phenols,aliphatic hydrocarbons,aromatic hydrocarbons,and furan derivatives.These chemical compounds evolved were related to the pyrolysis conditions. | Rui Zhou Hanwu Lei James L.Julson | 2013 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2013,6,1: | 4 |

| 9 | Compact intense electron-beam accelerators based on high energy density liquid pulse forming lines显示文摘This paper provides a review of the compact intense electron-beam accelerators (IEBAs) based on liquid pulse forming lines (PFLs) that havebeen developed at the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) in China. The history and roadmap of the compact IEBAs used todrive high-power microwave (HPM) devices at NUDT are reviewed. The properties of both de-ionized water and glycerin as energy storagemedia are presented. Research into the breakdown properties of liquid dielectrics and the desire to maximize energy storage have resulted in theinvention of several coaxial PFLs with different electromagnetic structures, which are detailed in this paper. These high energy density liquidPFLs have been used to increase the performance of IEBA subsystems, based on which the SPARK (Single Pulse Accelerator with spark gaps)and HEART (High Energy-density Accelerator with Repetitive Transformer) series of IEBAs were constructed. | 11 | Immersing Treatment of Steel Plate Surface in Steel-Aluminum Solid to Liquid Bonding显示文摘The interfacial status of the steel-aluminum solid to liquid bonding plates (their steel plate surfaces were or were not immersed in flux aqueous solution) were measured by using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and X-ray diffraction . The results showed that the layer of flux (the minimum thickness was 15 μm on the steel plate surface) could protect the steel plate surface from oxidizing effectively at high temperature in solid to liquid bonding. The melt temperatUre of the flux should be lower than 580 ℃ so that it could be melted and removed completely.
