1A highly active VOx-MnOx/CeO_(2) for selective catalytic reduction of NO:The balance between redox property and surface acidity显示文摘Excellent catalysts with low-temperature activity and relatively wide temperature window for selective catalytic reduction of NO with ammonia(NH_(3)-SCR) are highly demanded in view of the practical treatment of NO.Herein,we have designed a highly active VOx-MnOx/CeO_(2) material based on the intrinsic requirement of SCR reaction for catalyst,namely redox sites and surface acid sites.The vanadium oxide and manganese oxide are highly dispersed over the ceria mesosphere via simple incipient wetness impregnation.The loading of manganese could introduce acid sites and enhance the redox property remarkably,while the loading of vanadium increases acid sites and weakens redox property.Through tentatively controlling the appropriate loading ratio of the two components,the optimal catalyst achieves a balance between redox property and surface acidity.The work shed light on the development of new SCR catalyst with superior low temperature activity,wide work temperature window and good hydrothermal stability.Runnong Yang Zihan Gao Ming Sun Guangying Fu Gao Cheng Wuyuan Liu Xiaobo Yang Xiangyun Zhao Lin Yu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,11:3

5Fe_(3)C coupled with Fe-N_(x)supported on N-doped carbon as oxygen reduction catalyst for assembling Zn-air battery to drive water splitting显示文摘Fe-N-C structures have been considered as a candidate to replace noble metal catalysts towards oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)due to their excellent electrocatalytic activity and durability.Herein,a zincmediated synthesis strategy is proposed for N-doped graphitic porous carbon encapsulated uniform dispersed Fe_(3)C nanoparticles coupled with atomically dispersed Fe-Nxmoieties(NPC/Fe-N-C)derived from biomass coconut shell.The introduction of zinc species could be conductive to the dispersion of iron species and formation of porous structures.Density functional theory calculations demonstrate that the N-doped carbon coating structures can weaken the oxygen intermediates adsorption energy barrier of Fe_(3)C.Beside,the graphitic carbon could promote the electron transfer during the electrochemical reaction.These special structures enable NPC/Fe-N-C to have excellent ORR activity with an Eonsetof 1.0 V,which is much better than Pt/C.Furthermore,the zinc-air battery assembled by pairing NPC/Fe-N-C with a high-efficiency oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalyst can continuously and stably operate a chargedischarge potential gap of 0.8 V at 10 m A/cm^(2)for more than 600 h.More importantly,the assembled batteries could drive overall water splitting device,realizing the effective energy conversion.Guangying Zhang Xu Liu Peng Yu Di Shen Bowen Liu Qiwen Pan Lei Wang Honggang Fu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:0
6The genome-wide meiotic recombination landscape in ciliates and its implications for crossover regulation and genome evolution显示文摘Meiotic recombination is essential for sexual reproduction and its regulation has been extensively studied in many taxa.However,genome-wide recombination landscape has not been reported in ciliates and it remains unknown how it is affected by the unique features of ciliates:the synaptonemal complex(SC)-independent meiosis and the nuclear dimorphism.Here,we show the recombination landscape in the model ciliate Tetrahymena thermophila by analyzing single-nucleotide polymorphism datasets from 38 hybrid progeny.We detect 1021 crossover(CO)events(35.8 per meiosis),corresponding to an overall CO rate of 9.9 cM/Mb.However,gene conversion by non-crossover is rare(1.03 per meiosis)and not biased towards G or C alleles.Consistent with the reported roles of SC in CO interference,we find no obvious sign of CO interference.CO tends to occur within germ-soma common genomic regions and many of the 44 identified CO hotspots localize at the centromeric or subtelomeric regions.Gene ontology analyses show that CO hotspots are strongly associated with genes responding to environmental changes.We discuss these results with respect to how nuclear dimorphism has potentially driven the formation of the observed recombination landscape to facilitate environmental adaptation and the sharing of machinery among meiotic and somatic recombination.Lu Fu Chen Gu Kazufumi Mochizuki Jie Xiong Wei Mia Guangying Wang 2024Journal of Genetics and Genomics2024,51,3:0
7Zeolitic germanosilicate analogue to pharmacosiderite crystallized in an acidic medium显示文摘Zeolites are typically synthesized in alkaline or fluoride-containing near-neutral media.Sophisticated organic structure-directing agents have been investigated for such systems with the aim of discovering materials with unprecedented structures and properties for novel technical applications.In contrast,zeolite crystallization in strongly acidic media has yet to be explored.This study demonstrates that a zeolitic silicate phase crystallizes from acidic gels using trimethylamine as an organic additive with the composition 1 SiO_(2):0.3 TMA:0.3 HCl:0.15 HF:55 H_(2)O:(0.1-0.4)GeO_(2).This phase has an interrupted four-connected framework analog to the octahedron/tetrahedron-mixed framework of the mineral family pharmacosiderite.In comparison to the pharmacosiderite-type HK_(3)(Ge_(7)O_(16))(H_(2)O)_(4),the four GeO_(6)-octahedra forming the central[HGe_(4)O_(4)O_(12)]-cluster are replaced by four SiO_(4)-tetrahedra in a[Si_(4)O_(6)(OH)2.89]-unit in the new phase.However,the structure is distorted and may contain connectivity and point defects;thus,healing by the occasional incorporation of GeO_(6)-units is necessary.The refined unit cell has a cubic symmetry,space group P-43m(#215),with a=7.7005(1)Å.Acidic-medium synthesis is a useful way to find new zeolites that move in a fundamentally different direction from sophisticated organic structure-directing agents.Guangying Fu Qiaolin Lang Xiaolong Liu Haonuan Zhao Yiqing Sun Lei Zhao Ahmed Omran Peng Lu Xiaobo Yang Bing Yu Valentin Valtchev 2023Green Carbon2023,1,2:0
8An improved correlation to determine minimum miscibility pressure of CO2–oil system显示文摘An accurate and reliable estimation of minimum miscibility pressure(MMP) of CO2-oil system is a critical task for the design and implementation of CO2 miscible displacement process.In this study,an improved CO2-oil MMP correlation was developed to predict the MMP values for both pure and impure CO2 injection cases based on ten influential factors,i.e.reservoir temperature(TR),molecular weight of C7+oil components(MWC7+),mole fraction of volatile oil components(xvol),mole fraction of C2-C4 oil components(xC2-C4),mole fraction of C5-C6 oil components(xCs-5-C6),and the gas stream mole fractions of CO2(yCO2),H2S(yH2S),C1(yC1),hydrocarbons(yHC)and N2(yN2).The accuracy of the improved correlation was evaluated against experimental data reported in literature concurrently with those estimated by several renowned correlations.It was found that the improved correlation provided higher prediction accuracy and consistency with literature experimental data than other literature correlations.In addition,the predictive capability of the improved correlation was further validated by predicting an experimentally measured CO2-Oil MMP data,and it showed an accurate result with the absolute deviation of 4.15%.Besides,the differential analysis of the improved correlation was analyzed to estimate the impact of parameters uncertainty in the original MMP data on the calculated results.Also,sensitivity analysis was performed to analyze the influence of each parameter on MMP qualitatively and quantitatively.The results revealed that the increase of xC2-C4,xC5-C6 and yH2 S lead to the decrease of MMP,while the increase of TR,MWC7+,xvol,yCO2,YC1,yHC and yN2 tend to increase the MMP.Overall,the relevance of each parameter with MMP follows the order of TR> xC5-C6> MWC7+> xvol> yH2 S> yHC> yCO2>yC1>yN2>xC2-C4.Guangying Chen Hongxia Gao Kaiyun Fu Haiyan Zhang Zhiwu Liang Paitoon Tontiwachwuthikul 2020Green Energy & Environment2020,5,1:0
