Orbit determination for Chang'E-2 lunar probe and evaluation of lunar gravity models显示文摘The Unified S-Band(USB) ranging/Doppler system and the Very Long Baseline Interferometry(VLBI) system as the ground tracking system jointly supported the lunar orbit capture of both Chang'E-2(CE-2) and Chang'E-1(CE-1) missions. The tracking system is also responsible for providing precise orbits for scientific data processing.New VLBI equipment and data processing strategies have been proposed based on CE-1 experiences and implemented for CE-2.In this work the role VLBI tracking data played was reassessed through precision orbit determination(POD) experiments for CE-2.Significant improvement in terms of both VLBI delay and delay rate data accuracy was achieved with the noise level of X-band band-width synthesis delay data reaching 0.2-0.3 ns.Short-arc orbit determination experiments showed that the combination of only 15 min's range and VLBI data was able to improve the accuracy of 3 h's orbit using range data only by a 1-1.5 order of magnitude, confirming a similar conclusion for CE-1.Moreover,because of the accuracy improvement,VLBI data was able to contribute to CE-2's long-arc POD especially in the along-track and orbital normal directions.Orbital accuracy was assessed through the orbital overlapping analysis(2 h arc overlapping for 18 h POD arc).Compared with about 100 m position error of CE-1's 200 km 200 km lunar orbit, for CE-2's 100 km 100 km lunar orbit, the position errors were better than 31 and 6 m in the radial direction, and for CE-2's 15 km 100 km orbit, the position errors were better than 45 and 12 m in the radial direction. In addition,in trying to analyze the Delta Differential One-Way Ranging(DOR) experiments data we concluded that the accuracy of DOR delay was dramatically improved with the noise level better than 0.1 ns and systematic errors better calibrated, and the Short-arc POD tests with DOR data showed excellent results.Although unable to support the development of an independent lunar gravity model, the tracking data of CE-2 provided evaluations of different lunar gravity models through POD.It is found that for the 100 km 100 km lunar orbit, with a degree and order expansion up to 165,JPL's gravity model LP165P did not show noticeable improvement over Japan's SGM series models(100×100),but for the 15 km×100 km lunar orbit,a higher degree-order model can significantly improve the orbit accuracy.Li PeiJia Hu XiaoGong Huang Yong Wang GuangLi Jiang DongRong Zhang XiuZhong Cao JianFeng Xin Nan 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,3:30
Expression of hIGF-I in the silk glands of transgenic silkworms and in transformed silkworm cells显示文摘To express human insulin-like growth factor-I (hIGF-I) in transformed Bombyx mori cultured cells and silk glands, the transgenic vector pigA3GFP-hIGF-ie-neo was constructed with a neomycin resistance gene driven by the baculovirus ie-1 promoter, and with the hIGF-I gene under the control of the silkworm sericin promoter Ser-1. The stably transformed BmN cells expressing hIGF-I were selected by using the antibiotic G418 at a final concentration of 700-800 μg/mL after the BmN cells were transfected with the piggyBac vector and the helper plasmid. The specific band of hIGF-I was detected in the transformed cells by Western blot. The expression level of hIGF-I, determined by ELISA, was about 7800 pg in 5×105 cells. Analysis of the chromosomal insertion sites by inverse PCR showed that exogenous DNA could be inserted into the cell genome randomly or at TTAA target sequence specifically for piggyBac element transposition. The transgenic vector pigA3GFP-hIGF-ie-neo was transferred into the eggs using sperm-mediated gene transfer. Finally, two transgenic silkworms were obtained after screening for the neo and gfp genes and verified by PCR and dot hybridization. The expression level of hIGF-I determined by ELISA was about 2440 pg/g of silk gland of the transgenic silkworms of the G1 generation.ZHAO Yue, LI Xi, CAO GuangLi, XUE RenYu & GONG ChengLiang· Medical College, Soochow University, Suzhou 215123, China 2009Science China(Life Sciences)2009,52,12:9
Effects of various pretreatment methods on mixed microflora to enhance biohydrogen production from corn stover hydrolysate显示文摘Five individual pretreatment methods, including three widely-used protocols (heat, acid and base) and two novel attempts (ultrasonic and ultraviolet), were conducted in batch tests to compare their effects on mixed microflora to enhance hydrogen (H2) productionfrom corn stover hydrolysate. Experimental results indicated that heat and base pretreatments significantly increased H2 yield withthe values of 5.03 and 4.45 mmol H2/g sugar utilized, respectively, followed by acid pretreatment of 3.21 mmol H2/g sugar utilized. However, compared with the control (2.70 mmol H2/g sugar utilized), ultrasonic and ultraviolet pretreatments caused indistinctive effects on H2 production with the values of 2.92 and 2.87 mmol H2/g sugar utilized, respectively. The changes of soluble metabolitescomposition caused by pretreatment were in accordance with H2-producing behavior. Concretely, more acetate accumulation and lessethanol production were found in pretreated processes, meaning that more reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) mightbe saved and flowed into H2-producing pathways. PCR-DGGE analysis indicated that the pretreatment led to the enrichment of somespecies, which appeared in large amounts and even dominated the microbial community. Most of the dominated species were affliatedto Enterobacter spp. and Escherichia spp. As another efficient H2 producer, Clostridium bifermentan was only found in a large quantityafter heat pretreatment. This strain might be mainly responsible for better performance of H2 production in this case.Kun Zhang Nanqi Ren Changhong Guo Aijie Wang Guangli Cao 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,12:3

VEGF-B prevents excessive angiogenesis by inhibiting FGF2/FGFR1 pathway显示文摘Although VEGF-B was discovered as a VEGF-A homolog a long time ago,the angiogenic effect of VEGF-B remains poorly understood with limited and diverse findings from different groups.Notwithstanding, drugs that inhibit VEGF-B together with other VEGF family members are being used to treat patients with various neovascular diseases. It is therefore critical to have a better understanding of the angiogenic effect of VEGF-B and the underlying mechanisms.Using comprehensive in vitro and in vivo methods and models,we reveal here for the first time an unexpected and surprising function of VEGF-B as an endogenous inhibitor of angiogenesis by inhibiting the FGF2/FGFR1 pathway when the latter is abundantly expressed.Mechanistically,we unveil that VEGF-B binds to FGFR1,induces FGFR1/VEGFR1 complex formation, and suppresses FGF2-induced Erk activation, and inhibits FGF2-driven angiogenesis and tumor growth. Our work uncovers a previously unrecognized novel function of VEGF-B in tethering the FGF2/FGFR1 pathway.Given the anti-angiogenic nature of VEGF-B under conditions of high FGF2/FGFR1 levels, caution is warranted when modulating VEGF-B activity to treat neovascular diseases.Chunsik Lee Rongyuan Chen Guangli Sun Xialin Liu Xianchai Lin Chang He Liying Xing Lixian Liu Lasse DJensen Anil Kumar Harald FLanger Xiangrong Ren Jianing Zhang Lijuan Huang Xiangke Yin JongKyong Kim Juanhua Zhu Guanqun Huang Jiani Li Weiwei Lu Wei Chen Juanxi Liu Jiaxin Hu Qihang Sun Weisi Lu Lekun Fang Shasha Wang Haiqing Kuang Yihan Zhang Geng Tian Jia Mi Bi-Ang Kang Masashi Narazaki Aaron Prodeus Luc Schoonjans David MOrnitz Jean Gariepy Guy Eelen Mieke Dewerchin Yunlong Yang Jing-Song Ou Antonio Mora Jin Yao Chen Zhao Yizhi Liu Peter Carmeliet Yihai Cao Xuri Li 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,9:0
Experimental study on the dispersion behavior of a microemulsion collector and its mechanism for enhancing low-rank coal flotation显示文摘As the poor dispersion of oily collectors and the inferior hydrophobicity of the mineral surface, the lowrank coal has an unsatisfactory flotation performance when using traditional collectors. In this paper, an ionic liquid microemulsion was used as a collector to enhance its floatability. Flotation test results demonstrated the microemulsion collector exhibited a superior collecting ability. A satisfactory separation performance of 78.66% combustible material recovery was obtained with the microemulsion collector consumption of 6 kg/t, which was equivalent to the flotation performance of diesel at a dosage of25 kg/t. The dispersion behavior of the microemulsion collector was investigated using the CryogenicTransmission Electron Microscopy. The interaction mechanism of the microemulsion collector on enhancing the low-rank coal flotation was elucidated through the Zeta potential and contact angle measurements, the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis. The microemulsion collector exhibited superior dispersibility, which was dispersed into positively charged oil droplets with an average size of 160.21 nm in the pulp. Furthermore, the nano-oil droplets could be more efficiently adsorbed on the low-rank coal surface through electrostatic attraction, resulting in the improvement of its hydrophobicity. Thus, the microemulsion collector shows great application potential in improving the flotation performance of low-rank coal.Fan Lian Guosheng Li Yijun Cao Baoxun Zhao Guangli Zhu Kai Fan 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,7:0
