2An Important Spreading Event of the Neo-Tethys Ocean during the Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous: Evidence from Zircon U-Pb SHRIMP Dating on Diabase in Nagarze, Southern Tibet显示文摘Widely distributed in Gyangze-Chigu area, southern Tibet, NW- and nearly E-W-trending diabase(gabbro)-gabbro diorite dykes are regarded as the product of the large-scale spreading of the late Neo-Tethys Ocean. In order to constrain the emplacement age of these dykes, zircons of two samples from diabases in Nagarze were dated by using the U-Pb SHRIMP method. Two nearly the same weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages were obtained in this paper, which are 134.9±1.8 Ma (MSWD= 0.65) and 135.5±2.1 Ma (MSWD=1.40), respectively. They not only represent the crystallization age of the diabase, but also documented an important spreading event of the Neo-Tethys Ocean during the late Jurassic and early Cretaceous. 4Transportation Development Transition in China显示文摘Scientific development is an invaluable asset to a country.Policies and development modes should be carried out based on scientific findings not only in industry,but also in transportation infrastructure construction.Building an integrated transportation system,which is in line with the national requirements of China and supports sustainable socio-economic development,is a key strategic issue related to building a moderately prosperous society and achieving realistic goals of a medium-level developed country.Based on a systematic review of the advances in China's transportation infrastructure over the last 60 years,this paper explores the main drivers of transportation development,including national policy,transportation structure,investment efficiency,and technological innovation.Analysis shows that China's comprehensive transportation infrastructure construction since 1949 can be divided into five stages initiated by these drivers,which correspond to four transition modes:policy transition,structural transition,efficiency transition,and technology transition.The transition path of China's transportation development shows that the dominant factors have changed,and the interval for each transition has shortened.With the implementation of the '12th Five-Year Plan',China's transportation infrastructure construction is showing some new characteristics and facing a new development transition.Finally,this paper analyzes the trends in transportation development in China and concludes that technological innovation will be the main driving force to increase the transportation supply and service area in the future.JIN Fengjun DING Jinxue WANG Jiao'e LIU Dong WANG Chengjin 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,3:4
5Mantle Branch Structure in the South-Central Segment of the Da Hinggan Mts.,Inner Mongolia and Its Ore-controlling Role显示文摘Mantle branch structure is the third tectonic unit of multiple evolution of a mantle branch. It is not only the main mechanism of intercontinental orogeny, but also an important ore-forming and ore-control structure. Studies on geotectonic evolution, regional geological characteristics and ore-forming and ore-control structures have shown that since the Mesozoic the Da Hinggan Mts. region has entered a typical intercontinental orogenic stage, and it is closely related to mantle branch activities. The south-central segment of the Da Hinggan Mts. is a typical mantle branch structure and possesses obvious magmatic-metamorphic complexes in the core, detachment slip beds in the periphery and overlapped fault depression basins. Moreover, all of these are the principal factors leading to ore formation and ore control in the region. 6Emerging miniaturized energy storage devices for microsystem applications:from design to integration显示文摘The rapid progress of micro/nanoelectronic systems and miniaturized portable devices has tremendously increased the urgent demands for miniaturized and integrated power supplies.Miniaturized energy storage devices(MESDs),with their excellent properties and additional intelligent functions,are considered to be the preferable energy supplies for uninterrupted powering of microsystems.In this review,we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the background,fundamentals,device configurations,manufacturing processes,and typical applications of MESDs,including their recent advances.Particular attention is paid to advanced device configurations,such as two-dimensional(2D)stacked,2D planar interdigital,2D arbitrary-shaped,three-dimensional planar,and wire-shaped structures,and their corresponding manufacturing strategies,such as printing,scribing,and masking techniques.Additionally,recent developments in MESDs,including microbatteries and microsupercapacitors,as well as microhybrid metal ion capacitors,are systematically summarized.A series of on-chip microsystems,created by integrating functional MESDs,are also highlighted.Finally,the remaining challenges and future research scope on MESDs are discussed.Huaizhi Liu Guanhua Zhang Xin Zheng Fengjun Chen Huigao Duan 2020International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2020,2,4:4
7Quasi-plane-hypothesis of strain coordination for RC beams seismically strengthened with externally-bonded or near-surface mounted fiber reinforced plastic显示文摘The application of fiber reinforced plastic(FRP),including carbon FRP and glass FRP,for structural repair and strengthening has grown due to their numerous advantages over conventional materials such as externally bonded reinforcement(EBR) and near-surface mounted(NSM) strengthening techniques.This paper summarizes the results from 21 reinforced concrete beams strengthened with different methods,including externally-bonded and near-surface mounted FRP,to study the strain coordination of the FRP and steel rebar of the RC beam.Since there is relative slipping between the RC beam and the FRP,the strain of the FRP and steel rebar of the RC beam satisfy the quasi-plane-hypothesis;that is,the strain of the longitudinal fiber that parallels the neutral axis of the plated beam within the scope of the effective height(h 0) of the cross section is in direct proportion to the distance from the fiber to the neutral axis.The strain of the FRP and steel rebar satisfies the equation:ε FRP =βε steel,and the value of β is equal to 1.1-1.3 according to the test results.Ren Zhenhua Zeng Xiantao Liu Hanlong Zhou Fengjun 2013Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2013,12,1:3
8Mycorrhiza improves plant growth and photosynthetic characteristics of tea plants in response to drought stress显示文摘Tea plants are sensitive to soil moisture deficit,with the level of soil water being a critical factor affecting their growth and quality.Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)can improve water and nutrient absorption,but it is not clear whether AMF can improve the photosynthetic characteristics of tea plants.A potted study was conducted to determine the effects of Claroideoglomus etunicatum on plant growth,leaf water status,pigment content,gas exchange,and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters in Camellia sinensis cv.Fuding Dabaicha under well-watered(WW)and drought stress(DS)conditions.Root mycorrhizal colonization and soil hyphal length were significantly reduced by the eightweek DS treatment.AMF inoculation displayed a significant increase in shoot and root biomass production.The relative water content,leaf water potential,nitrogen balance index,pigment content,maximum photometric effect(Fv/Fm,QY_max),and steady-state photometric effect Y(II)(QY_Lss)decreased dramatically,while the leaf water saturation deficit and steady-state non-photochemical fluorescence quenching(NPQ_Lss)generally increased under DS conditions.Mycorrhizal treatment induced significantly higher relative water content,leaf water potential,nitrogen balance index,pigment(chlorophyll,flavonoid,and anthocyanin)content,net photosynthesis rate,transpiration rate,stomatal conductance,intercellular CO_(2)concentration,QY_max,and QY_Lss;however,it resulted in a lower leaf water saturation deficit and NPQ_Lss under both WW and DS conditions,as compared with nonmycorrhizal plants.These results imply that AMF promoted tea plant growth and alleviated negative effects of DS by promoting gas exchange,regulating the water status of leaves,and regulating photosynthetic parameters.FENGJUN DAI ZIYI RONG QIANGSHENG WU ELSAYED FATHI ABD_ALLAH CHUNYAN LIU SHENGRUI LIU 2022BIOCELL2022,46,5:2
9Enhancing sensitivity of microbial fuel cell sensors for low concentration biodegradable organic matter detection:Regulation of substrate concentration,anode area and external resistance显示文摘The relatively low sensitivity is an important reason for restricting the microbial fuel cell(MFC)sensors'application in low concentration biodegradable organic matter(BOM)detection.The startup parameters,including substrate concentration,anode area and external resistance,were regulated to enhance the sensitivity of MFC sensors.The results demonstrated that both the substrate concentration and anode area were positively correlated with the sensitivity of MFC sensors,and an external resistance of 210Ωwas found to be optimal in terms of sensitivity of MFC sensors.Optimized MFC sensors had lower detection limit(1 mg/L)and higher sensitivity(Slope value of the linear regression curve was 1.02),which effectively overcome the limitation of low concentration BOM detection.The essential reason is that optimized MFC sensors had higher coulombic efficiency,which was beneficial to improve the sensitivity of MFC sensors.The main impact of the substrate concentration and anode area was to regulate the proportion between electrogens and nonelectrogens,biomass and living cells of the anode biofilm.The external resistance mainly affected the morphology structure and the proportion of living cells of the anode.This study demonstrated an effective way to improve the sensitivity of MFC sensors for low concentration BOM detection.Yangyang Gao Sha Wang Fengjun Yin Pin Hu Xingzu Wang Yuan Liu Hong Liu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3:2

11Neuro-regenerative imidazole-functionalized GelMA hydrogel loaded with hAMSC and SDF-1α promote stem cell differentiation and repair focal brain injury显示文摘Brain tissues that are severely damaged by traumatic brain injury(TBI)is hardly regenerated,which leads to a cavity or a repair with glial scarring.Stem-cell therapy is one viable option to treat TBI-caused brain tissue damage,whose use is,whereas,limited by the low survival rate and differentiation efficiency of stem cells.To approach this problem,we developed an injectable hydrogel using imidazole groups-modified gelatin methacrylate(GelMA-imid).In addition,polydopamine(PDA)nanoparticles were used as carrier for stromal-cell derived factor-1(SDF-1α).GelMA-imid hydrogel loaded with PDA@SDF-1αnanoparticles and human amniotic mesenchymal stromal cells(hAMSCs)were injected into the damaged area in an in-vivo cryogenic injury model in rats.The hydrogel had low module and its average pore size was 204.61±41.41 nm,which were suitable for the migration,proliferation and differentiation of stem cells.In-vitro cell scratch and differentiation assays showed that the imidazole groups and SDF-1αcould promote the migration of hAMSCs to injury site and their differentiation into nerve cells.The highest amount of nissl body was detected in the group of GelMA-imid/SDF-1α/hAMSCs hydrogel in the in-vivo model.Additionally,histological analysis showed that GelMA-imid/SDF-1α/hAMSCs hydrogel could facilitate the regeneration of regenerate endogenous nerve cells.In summary,the GelMA-imid/SDF-1α/hAMSCs hydrogel promoted homing and differentiation of hAMSCs into nerve cells,and showed great application potential for the physiological recovery of TBI.Yantao Zheng Gang Wu Limei Chen Ying Zhang Yuwei Luo Yong Zheng Fengjun Hu Tymor Forouzanfar Haiyan Lin Bin Liu 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,3:2
12Linear stability analysis of interactions between mixing layer and boundary layer flows显示文摘The linear instabilities of incompressible confluent mixing layer and boundary layer were analyzed.The mixing layers include wake,shear layer and their combination.The mean velocity profile of confluent flow is taken as a superposition of a hyperbolic and exponential function to model a mixing layer and the Blasius similarity solution for a flat plate boundary layer.The stability equation of confluent flow was solved by using the global numerical method.The unstable modes associated with both the mixing and boundary layers were identified.They are the boundary layer mode,mixing layer mode 1(nearly symmetrical mode)and mode 2(nearly anti-symmetrical mode).The interactions between the mixing layer stability and the boundary layer stability were examined.As the mixing layer approaches the boundary layer,the neutral curves of the boundary layer mode move to the upper left,the resulting critical Reynolds number decreases,and the growth rate of the most unstable mode increases.The wall tends to stabilize the mixing layer modes at low frequency.In addition,the mode switching behavior of the relative level of the spatial growth rate between the mixing layer mode 1 and mode 2 with the velocity ratio is found to occur at low frequency.Fengjun LIU Yifan WANG Ying PIAO 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,4:2
13The j–pH diagram of interfacial reactions involving H+ and OH-显示文摘For aqueous interfacial reactions involving H+and OH-, the interfacial pH varies dynamically during the reaction process, which is a key factor determining the reaction performance. Herein, the kinetic relevance between the interfacial pH and reaction rate is deciphered owing to the success in establishing the transport equations of H+/OH- in unbuffered solutions, and is charted as a current(j)–pH diagram in the form of an electrochemical response. The as-described j–pH interplay is experimentally verified by the oxygen reduction and hydrogen evolution reactions. 14Fast and stable K-ion storage enabled by synergistic interlayer and pore-structure engineering显示文摘Carbon-based material has been regarded as one of the most promising electrode materials for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).However,the battery performance based on reported porous carbon electrodes is still unsatisfactory,while the in-depth K-ion storage mechanism remains relatively ambiguous.Herein,we propose a facile“in situ self-template bubbling”method for synthesizing interlayer-tuned hierarchically porous carbon with different metallic ions,which delivers superior K-ion storage performance,especially the high reversible capacity(360.6 mAh·g^(−1)@0.05 A·g^(−1)),excellent rate capability(158.6 mAh·g^(−1)@10.0 A·g^(−1))and ultralong high-rate cycling stability(82.8%capacity retention after 2,000 cycles at 5.0 A·g^(−1)).Theoretical simulation reveals the correlations between interlayer distance and K-ion diffusion kinetics.Experimentally,deliberately designed consecutive cyclic voltammetry(CV)measurements,ex situ Raman tests,galvanostatic intermittent titration technique(GITT)method decipher the origin of the excellent rate performance by disentangling the synergistic effect of interlayer and pore-structure engineering.Considering the facile preparation strategy,superior electrochemical performance and insightful mechanism investigations,this work may deepen the fundamental understandings of carbon-based PIBs and related energy storage devices like sodium-ion batteries,aluminum-ion batteries,electrochemical capacitors,and dual-ion batteries.Deping Li Qing Sun Yamin Zhang Xinyue Dai Fengjun Ji Kaikai Li Qunhui Yuan Xingjun Liu Lijie Ci 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:1
15Supercritical extracts of forest fuels in Great Xing'an Mountains显示文摘Extracts are important components of fuels.Fatty-extracts with high heating value(HV) are hypothesized by researchers as positively related to the HV of fuels.The Soxhlet extractor is typically used to extract fatty-extracts but it has shortcomings,including long processing time(8–10 h) and the requirement for large amounts of organic solvent.Supercritical extraction is an alternate and useful technique for extraction of natural products.However,published studies rarely discuss the relationship between extracts and HV.In this study,we assessed the supercritical extracts(Su E) of forest fuels in the Great Xing'an Mountains.Our results indicated that the optimum conditions for extraction of Su Es were40–60 mesh,40–50 MPa,45 °C,80 min and a CO_2 flow rate of 1.5–2.0 dm^3/min.The Soxhlet extracts contents and the Su E contents were all related to HV.However,R^2 of the coniferous samples(0.8499) and needle samples(0.9722) demonstrated that the correlation between HV and the Su E content was closer.We conclude that supercritical fatty-extracts provide a useful index of the HV of fuels,especially coniferous fuels.Su E data can be used in fire management,for example to estimate the rate of fire spread or fire intensity.Fengjun Zhao Mingyu Wang Lifu Shu Xiaorui Tian Kezhen Liu 2016Journal of Forestry Research2016,27,5:1
