| 1 | Neuroprotective effect of epigallocatechin-3-gallate on hemisection-induced spinal cord injury in rats显示文摘Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG),a naturally occurring compound in green tea,has been widely used as an antioxidant agent.In the present study,model rats with acute spinal cord injury were intraperitoneally injected with 25,50,and 100 mg/kg EGCG,and spinal cord ultrastructure,oxidative stress reaction,inflammatory factors,and apoptosis-associated gene expression were observed.Results showed that EGCG attenuated neuronal and axonal injury 24 hours post injury.It also decreased serum interleukin-1β,tumor necrosis factor-α,and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 release,and decreased apoptosis-associated gene expression.Furthermore,it increased the level of the superoxide anion (O2-),superoxide dismutase,and B-cell lymphoma/leukemia-2,and reduced malondialdehyde levels.Furthermore,it reduced the expression of the pro-apoptotic protein Bax.Noticeably,EGCG at the 100 mg/kg dosage exhibited similar effects as methylprednisolone sodium succinate,which has been frequently used for clinical acute spinal cord injury.The results demonstrated that EGCG can significantly inhibit inflammation,suppress oxidation,and reduce apoptosis in acute spinal cord injury. | Fengjun Deng Rubing Li Yingbao Yang Dan Zhou Qian Wang Jiangping Xu | 2011 | Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,6: | 4 |

| 3 | Quasi-plane-hypothesis of strain coordination for RC beams seismically strengthened with externally-bonded or near-surface mounted fiber reinforced plastic显示文摘The application of fiber reinforced plastic(FRP),including carbon FRP and glass FRP,for structural repair and strengthening has grown due to their numerous advantages over conventional materials such as externally bonded reinforcement(EBR) and near-surface mounted(NSM) strengthening techniques.This paper summarizes the results from 21 reinforced concrete beams strengthened with different methods,including externally-bonded and near-surface mounted FRP,to study the strain coordination of the FRP and steel rebar of the RC beam.Since there is relative slipping between the RC beam and the FRP,the strain of the FRP and steel rebar of the RC beam satisfy the quasi-plane-hypothesis;that is,the strain of the longitudinal fiber that parallels the neutral axis of the plated beam within the scope of the effective height(h 0) of the cross section is in direct proportion to the distance from the fiber to the neutral axis.The strain of the FRP and steel rebar satisfies the equation:ε FRP =βε steel,and the value of β is equal to 1.1-1.3 according to the test results. | Ren Zhenhua Zeng Xiantao Liu Hanlong Zhou Fengjun | 2013 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2013,12,1: | 3 |

| 10 | Non-coupled charge explosion and geo-mechanical dynamics显示文摘The non-coupled charge explosion and geo-mechanical dynamics problem in real air condition is studied in this paper. It analyzes and calculates the problem by using the real air state equations. Through researching on the non-coupled charge rock bench blasting with big clearance of air, its result indicates that the borehole wall reflection overpressure is far higher than strength of rock, but much lower than detonation front pressure of the charge. So non-coupled charge explosion blasting engineering is very successful. Furthermore, it introduces the method of shaft forming by blasting once and the new tube room technology. And the non-coupled charge explosion is used successfully in the method of shaft forming by blasting once. As it drills and blasts in the top and removes the broken rock from the bottom tunnel, it increases the construction efficiency significantly.
