| 1 | China's regional transport dominance: Density, proximity, and accessibility显示文摘Transport infrastructure plays an important role in shaping the configuration of spatial socio-economic structures and influences regional accessibility.This paper defines transport dominance from three aspects:quality,quantity,and advantage,measured by density,proximity,and accessibility indices.County is the basic unit for analysis.The results reveal:(1)Transport dominance statistically follows a partial normal distribution.A very few counties,1.4%of the total,have extremely high transport dominance which strongly supports the socio-economic development in these areas.In contrast,one eighth of all counties have poor transport dominance which impedes local socio-economic development to some extent. The remaining areas,about 70%of the counties,have median transport dominance.(2) Transport dominance is spatially unevenly distributed,with values decreasing gradually from the coastal area to the inland area.Areas in the first-highest level of transport dominance are mainly concentrated in the Yangtze River Delta,the Greater Beijing area,and the Pearl River Delta.Areas in the second-highest level are focused in Chengdu,Chongqing,and Wuhan metropolitan areas.Provincial capitals and a few other counties belong to the third-highest level. | JIN Fengjun WANG Chengjin LI Xiuwei WANG Jiao'e | 2010 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2010,20,2: | 58 |

| 4 | Neuroprotective effect of epigallocatechin-3-gallate on hemisection-induced spinal cord injury in rats显示文摘Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG),a naturally occurring compound in green tea,has been widely used as an antioxidant agent.In the present study,model rats with acute spinal cord injury were intraperitoneally injected with 25,50,and 100 mg/kg EGCG,and spinal cord ultrastructure,oxidative stress reaction,inflammatory factors,and apoptosis-associated gene expression were observed.Results showed that EGCG attenuated neuronal and axonal injury 24 hours post injury.It also decreased serum interleukin-1β,tumor necrosis factor-α,and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 release,and decreased apoptosis-associated gene expression.Furthermore,it increased the level of the superoxide anion (O2-),superoxide dismutase,and B-cell lymphoma/leukemia-2,and reduced malondialdehyde levels.Furthermore,it reduced the expression of the pro-apoptotic protein Bax.Noticeably,EGCG at the 100 mg/kg dosage exhibited similar effects as methylprednisolone sodium succinate,which has been frequently used for clinical acute spinal cord injury.The results demonstrated that EGCG can significantly inhibit inflammation,suppress oxidation,and reduce apoptosis in acute spinal cord injury. | Fengjun Deng Rubing Li Yingbao Yang Dan Zhou Qian Wang Jiangping Xu | 2011 | Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,6: | 4 |
| 5 | Sand particle lift-off velocity measurements and numerical simulation of mass flux distributions in a wind tunnel显示文摘Lift-off velocity of saltating sand particles in wind-blown sand located at 1.0 mm above the sand bed surface was measured using a phase Doppler particle analyzer in a wind tunnel. The results show that the probability distribution of lift-off velocity can be expressed as a lognormal function, while that of lift-off angle follows an exponential function. The probability distribution of lift-off angle conditioned for each lift-off velocity also follows an exponential function, with a slope that becomes steeper with increasing lift-off velocity. This implies that the probability distribution of lift-off velocity is strongly dependent on the lift-off angle. However, these lift-off parameters are generally treated as an independent joint probability distribution in the literature. Numerical simulations were carried out to investigate the effects of conditional versus independent joint probability distributions on the vertical sand mass flux distribution. The simulation results derived from the conditional joint probability distribution agree much better with experimental data than those from the independent ones. Thus, it is better to describe the lift-off velocity of saltating sand particles using the conditional joint probability distribution. | 6 | Understanding the Percolation Effect in Triboelectric Nanogenerator with Conductive Intermediate Layer显示文摘Introducing the conductive intermediate layer into a triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)has been proved as an efficient way to enhance the surface charge density that is attributed to the enhancement of the dielectric permittivity.However,far too little attention has been paid to the companion percolation,another key element to affect the output.Here,the TENG with MXeneembedded polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)composite film is fabricated,and the dependence of the output capability on the MXene loading is investigated experimentally and theoretically.Specifically,the surface charge density mainly depends on the dielectric permittivity at lower MXene loadings,and in contrast,the percolation becomes the degrading factor with the further increase of the conductive loadings.At the balance between the dielectric and percolation properties,the surface charge density of the MXene-modified TENG obtained 350%enhancement compared to that with the pure PVDF.This work shed new light on understanding the dielectric and percolation effect in TENG,which renders a universal strategy for the high-performance triboelectronics. | Binbin Zhang Guo Tian Da Xiong Tao Yang Fengjun Chun Shen Zhong Zhiming Lin Wen Li Weiqing Yang | 2021 | Research2021,,1: | 2 |
| 7 | Analysis of transportation carbon emissions and its potential for reduction in China显示文摘The transportation industry is an essential sector for carbon emissions mitigation.This paper firstly used the LMDI(Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index)decomposition method to establish factors decomposition model on China's transportation carbon emission.Then,a quantitative analysis was performed to study the factors influencing China's transportation carbon emissions from 1991 to 2008,which are identified as transportation energy efficiency,transportation structure and transportation development.The results showed that:(1)The impact of transportation development on transportation carbon emissions showed pulling function.Its contribution value to carbon emissions remained at high growth since 1991 and showed an exponential growth trend.(2)The impact of transportation structure on transportation carbon emissions showed promoting function in general,but its role in promoting carbon emissions decreased year by year.And with the continuous optimization of transportation structure,the promoting effect decreased gradually and showed the inversed'U'trend.(3)The impact of transportation energy efficiency on transportation carbon emissions showed a function of inhibition before pulling.In order to predict the potential of carbon emission reduction,three scenarios were set.Analysis of the scenarios showed that if greater intensity emission reduction measures are taken,the carbon emissions will reduce by 31.01 million tons by 2015 and by 48.81 million tons by 2020. | Jinxue Ding Fengjun Jin Yuejiao Li Jiao'e Wang | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2013,11,1: | 2 |
| 8 | Fracture analysis of chilled cast iron camshaft显示文摘The fracture of a camshaft made of chilled cast iron,installed in a home-made Fukang car,happened only after running over a distance of 6,200 km.The fractured camshaft was received to conduct a series of failure analyses using visual inspection,SEM observation of fracture section,microstructure analysis,chemical composition analysis and hardness examination and so on,while those of CKD camshaft made by Citroēn Company in France was also simultaneously analyzed to compare the difference between them.The results showed that the fracture of the camshaft mainly results from white section in macrostructure and Ledeburite in microstructure;the crack in the fractured camshaft should be recognized to initiate at the boundary of coarser needle-like carbide and matrix,and then propagate through the transverse section.At the same time,the casting defects such as dendritic shrinkage,accumulated inclusion and initiated crack and abnormal external force might stimulate the fracture of camshaft as well.Based on failure analysis,some measures have been employed,and as a result,the fracture of home-made camshafts has been effectively prevented. | Li Ping Li Fengjun Cai Anke Wei Bokang | 2009 | China Foundry2009,6,2: | 2 |

| 10 | Modeling of Mold Filling and Solidification in Lost Foam Casting显示文摘Based on the characteristics of the lost foam casting (LFC) and the artificial neural network technique, a mathematicalmodel for the simulation of the melt-pattern interface movement during the mold filling of LFC has been proposed andexperimentally verified. The simulation results are consistent with the experiments in both the shapes of melt frontand filling sequences. According to the calculated interface locations, the fluid flow and the temperature distributionsduring the mold filling and solidification processes were calculated, and the shrinkage defect of a lost foam ductileiron casting was predicted by considering the mold wall movement in LFC. The simulation method was applied tooptimize the casting design of lost foam ductile iron castings. | 14 | Fast and stable K-ion storage enabled by synergistic interlayer and pore-structure engineering显示文摘Carbon-based material has been regarded as one of the most promising electrode materials for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).However,the battery performance based on reported porous carbon electrodes is still unsatisfactory,while the in-depth K-ion storage mechanism remains relatively ambiguous.Herein,we propose a facile“in situ self-template bubbling”method for synthesizing interlayer-tuned hierarchically porous carbon with different metallic ions,which delivers superior K-ion storage performance,especially the high reversible capacity(360.6 mAh·g^(−1)@0.05 A·g^(−1)),excellent rate capability(158.6 mAh·g^(−1)@10.0 A·g^(−1))and ultralong high-rate cycling stability(82.8%capacity retention after 2,000 cycles at 5.0 A·g^(−1)).Theoretical simulation reveals the correlations between interlayer distance and K-ion diffusion kinetics.Experimentally,deliberately designed consecutive cyclic voltammetry(CV)measurements,ex situ Raman tests,galvanostatic intermittent titration technique(GITT)method decipher the origin of the excellent rate performance by disentangling the synergistic effect of interlayer and pore-structure engineering.Considering the facile preparation strategy,superior electrochemical performance and insightful mechanism investigations,this work may deepen the fundamental understandings of carbon-based PIBs and related energy storage devices like sodium-ion batteries,aluminum-ion batteries,electrochemical capacitors,and dual-ion batteries. | Deping Li Qing Sun Yamin Zhang Xinyue Dai Fengjun Ji Kaikai Li Qunhui Yuan Xingjun Liu Lijie Ci | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,12: | 1 |

| 19 | Moment-independence global sensitivity analysis for the system with fuzzy failure state and its Kriging method显示文摘For the system with the fuzzy failure state, the effects of the input random variables and the fuzzy failure state on the fuzzy probability of failure for the structural system are studied, and the moment-independence global sensitivity analysis(GSA) model is proposed to quantitatively measure these effects. According to the fuzzy random theory, the fuzzy failure state is transformed into an equivalent new random variable for the system, and the complementary function of the membership function of the fuzzy failure state is defined as the cumulative distribution function(CDF) of the new random variable. After introducing the new random variable, the equivalent performance function of the original problem is built. The difference between the unconditional fuzzy probability of failure and conditional fuzzy probability of failure is defined as the moment-independent GSA index. In order to solve the proposed GSA index efficiently, the Kriging-based algorithm is developed to estimate the defined moment-independence GSA index.
