1Grain-filling characteristics and yield differences of maize cultivars with contrasting nitrogen efficiencies显示文摘To investigate the effect of nitrogen management on the grain-filling characteristics and yield formation of maize cultivars with contrasting nitrogen efficiencies,and to identify differences in grain-filling characteristics and yield of maize cultivars in response to nitrogen management,a two-year field experiment was conducted in southwest China in2015–2016.The grain-filling rate and duration of the N-inefficient cultivar XY 508 were higher than those of the N-efficient cultivar ZH 311.The 100-kernel weight of XY 508 was significantly higher than that of ZH 311.The kernel number per ear of ZH 311 was significantly higher than that of XY 508,making the population filling rate of ZH 311 significantly higher than that of XY 508.The higher population filling rate of the N-efficient maize cultivar led to a significant yield advantage over the N-inefficient maize cultivar.Nitrogen management effectively improved maize grain yield,but the response of maize cultivars with contrasting nitrogen efficiencies to nitrogen management was inconsistent.A basal fertilizer ratio 60.43%with a topdressing ratio 39.57%effectively increased grainfilling rate,delayed the time to maximum filling rate,prolonged the active filling period and effective grain-filling time,increased the 100-kernel weight,and maintained higher kernels per ear,thereby improving the population filling rate and maximizing the yield advantage of the N-efficient cultivar.A 100%basal fertilizer ratio not only increased the number of kernels per ear,but also maintained high grain filling characteristics to obtain a higher 100-kernel weight and increased the population filling rate,leading to a high grain yield in the N-inefficient cultivar.Thus,the 100%basal fertilizer ratio partially compensated for the deficient grain yield of the N-inefficient cultivar.Qiang Li Lunjing Du Dongju Feng Yun Ren Zhexin Li Fanlei Kong Jichao Yuan 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,6:5

9Pressure-induced crystallite breaking in La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)Mn_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_3 nanosolids显示文摘In the compacting process of the La 0.7Sr 0.3Mn 0.9Fe 0.1O 3 nanosolids under the pressure range of 0.0-4.5 GPa, the apparent pressure-induced crystallite breaking phenomenon in these nanosolids was observed. With increasing pressure up to 4.5 GPa, the average grain size decreases by 46% while the magnetization of nanosolids decrease by 40% and their coercive increases by 35%. This kind of breaking has a close relation to the existence of oxygen deficiency in La 0.7Sr 0.3Mn 0.9Fe 0.1O 3 nanoparticles. 11User Authentication Scheme Using Smart Cards for Multi-Server Environments显示文摘A lots of remote password authentication schemes have been proposed in recent years. However,these schemes are not designed for multi-server architecture environments. In this paper, we present a remote password authentication scheme for multi-server environments based on one-way hash function. In this scheme, anyuser can freely choose his password. There is no limitation of the number of the users, and the system doesn't need to keep the passwords for the users. 14The role of human ADA2a in the regulation of p53 acetylation and stability显示文摘The tumor suppressor protein p53 is a well-known transcription factor that functions as a critical component of the genotoxic stress response via regulating the expression of effector proteins that control cellular fate following DNA damage. The human p300/CBP-associated factor(PCAF)-containing histone acetyltransferase(HAT) complex is important for the stability and activity of p53 via its acetylation. The human homolog of yeast alteration/deficiency in activation 2a(ADA2a) is a stable component of the human PCAF-containing HAT complex. In this study,we demonstrated that p53 and hADA2a physically interact with each other in human HEK 293T cells. Using overexpression and small interfering RNA-mediated knockdown,we demonstrated that hADA2a stabilizes p53 via promoting its acetylation at lysine 320 - a PCAF-dependent acetylation site. Furthermore,hADA2a can potentiate the transcriptional activity of p53 at the BAX and p21 promoters to induce cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.
