2Auxin response factor 6A regulates photosynthesis,sugar accumulation,and fruit development in tomato显示文摘Auxin response factors(ARFs)are involved in auxin-mediated transcriptional regulation in plants.In this study,we performed functional characterization of SlARF6A in tomato.SlARF6A is located in the nucleus and exhibits transcriptional activator activity.Overexpression of SlARF6A increased chlorophyll contents in the fruits and leaves of tomato plants,whereas downregulation of SlARF6A decreased chlorophyll contents compared with those of wild-type(WT)plants.Analysis of chloroplasts using transmission electron microscopy indicated increased sizes of chloroplasts in SlARF6A-overexpressing plants and decreased numbers of chloroplasts in SlARF6A-downregulated plants.Overexpression of SlARF6A increased the photosynthesis rate and accumulation of starch and soluble sugars,whereas knockdown of SlARF6A resulted in opposite phenotypes in tomato leaves and fruits.RNA-sequence analysis showed that regulation of SlARF6A expression altered the expression of genes involved in chlorophyll metabolism,photosynthesis and sugar metabolism.SlARF6A directly bound to the promoters of SlGLK1,CAB,and RbcS genes and positively regulated the expression of these genes.Overexpression of SlARF6A also inhibited fruit ripening and ethylene production,whereas downregulation of SlARF6A increased fruit ripening and ethylene production.SlARF6A directly bound to the SAMS1 promoter and negatively regulated SAMS1 expression.Taken together,these results expand our understanding of ARFs with regard to photosynthesis,sugar accumulation and fruit development and provide a potential target for genetic engineering to improve fruit nutrition in horticulture crops.Yujin Yuan Xin Xu Zehao Gong Yuwei Tang Mengbo Wu Fang Yan Xiaolan Zhang Qian Zhang Fengqing Yang Xiaowei Hu Qichen Yang Yingqing Luo Lihua Mei Wenfa Zhang Cai-Zhong Jiang Wangjin Lu Zhengguo Li Wei Deng 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:3

4Construction of Hierarchical Nanostructured N-doped TiO2 Immobilized Activated Carbon Fiber Porous Composites for Toluene Removal显示文摘The hierarchical nanostructured N-doped TiO2 immobilized activated carbon fiber(N-TiO2/ACF)porous composites are fabricated to removal dynamic toluene gas.The results show that nitrogen ions doping and ACF modification can decrease the band gap of TiO2,leading to red shift toward visible light region.Interestingly,N-TiO2/ACF exhibits strongly synergistic effect owing to high surface area,good crystallinity,enhanced bandgap structure and light harvesting.The toluene removal rate of N-TiO2/ACF composites is 2.29 times higher than that of TiO2.The N-TiO2/ACF for toluene degradation followed the Langmuir-Hinshelwood kinetic model,and the rate constant is enhanced 8 times compared with TiO2.The possible photodegradation pathway and mechanisms are proposed.Li Yuwei Li Wei Li Meng Liu Fang Qi Xuejin Wang Yongqiang 2020China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,3:3
5Comparison and Analysis of Toluene Adsorption Properties of ZSM-5 Molecular Sieve Treated by Different Modification Methods: Adsorption Kinetic and Mechanism Studies显示文摘MFI molecular sieve with high specific surface area,adjustable pore size and low production cost have been recognized as an effective adsorbent for VOCs removal.In this paper,NaOH solution was used to etch ZSM-5 to increase specific surface area and micro-mesoporous content.Graphene oxide(GO)was loaded on ZSM-5 by ultrasonic-assisted heating immersion method,and largeπ-bond structure and oxygen-containing functional groups were added to ZSM-5 for improving the composite adsorption performance.In addition,the properties of OH-ZSM-5 and ZSM-5@GO composites for toluene adsorption under different factors were also studied.It was positively correlated with initial concentration and adsorbent mass,but was negatively correlated with temperature.Meanwhile,the results showed that the saturated adsorption capacity of OH-ZSM-5(107.3 mg/g)was 1.34 times higher than that of ZG-15%(80.2 mg/g).The pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic model can well describe the adsorption behavior of toluene on the OH-ZSM-5 and ZG-15%,respectively.The adsorption mechanism of OH-ZSM-5 was mainly pore-filled adsorption.However,the adsorption mechanisms of ZSM-5@GO composite were pore-filled adsorption,π-πinteraction,and H-bond interaction.This study will help to design a new strategy for enhancing the performance of traditional adsorbent ZSM-5 in VOCs removal.Zhang Shuai Li Meng Li Wei Li Yuwei Liu Fang Xue Ming Wang Yongqiang Zhao Chaocheng 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,1:2

10Study on the Problem of Multistage Vaccine Production and Allocation with Capacity Constraints显示文摘Vaccination is the best way to build an immune barrier to control a new infectious disease.Considering the limited production capacity at the initial stage of vaccine production,the problem of multistage vaccine production and allocation is studied under the policy of free treatment for infected patients by the government.Given the population and infection rates of different regions and the vaccine production capacity of each stage,an integer programming model is established to minimize the sum of production-and-vaccination cost and treatment cost of infected patients,which is solved by the GUROBI solver.The correctness of the model is verified by simulation,and the necessity of considering the treatment cost of infected patients in the objective function is further analyzed,which confirmed the correctness of the free treatment policy for patients in China.A heuristic algorithm is designed to solve the large-scale problem and numerical experiments are conducted to verify the efficiency of this algorithm.Furthermore,based on the sensitivity analysis results of parameters,the optimal vaccine production and allocation strategy are proposed,which provide the decision basis for the government departments to make reasonable vaccine production and vaccination plan.HAN Qianqian ZHANG Yuwei LI Zhenping FANG Yong 2023Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2023,36,5:0
11Immediate and long-term outcomes after treat-all among people living with HIV in China:an interrupted time series analysis显示文摘Background In 2003,China implemented free antiretroviral therapy(ART)for people living with HIV(PLHIV),establishing an eligibility threshold of CD4<200 cells/μl.Subsequently,the entry criteria were revised in 2012(eligibility threshold:CD4≤350 cells/μl),2014(CD4≤500 cells/μl),and 2016(treat-all).However,the impact of treat-all policy on HIV care and treatment indicators in China is unknown.We aimed to elucidate the immediate and long-term impact of the implementation of treat-all policy in China.Methods Anonymized programmatic data on ART initiation and collection in PLHIV who newly started ART were retrieved between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2019,from two provincial and municipal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and ten major infectious disease hospitals specialized in HIV care in China.We used Poisson and quasi-Poisson segmented regression models to estimate the immediate and long-term impact of treat-all on three key indicators:monthly proportion of 30-day ART initiation,mean CD4 counts(cells/μl)at ART initiation,and mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis(year).We built separate models according to gender,age,route of transmission and region.Results Monthly data on ART initiation and collection were available for 75,516 individuals[gender:83.8%males;age:median 39 years,interquartile range(IQR):28-53;region:18.5%Northern China,10.9%Northeastern China,17.5%Southern China,49.2%Southwestern China].In the first month of treat-all,compared with the contemporaneous counterfactual,there was a significant increase in proportion of 30-day ART initiation[+12.6%,incidence rate ratio(IRR)=1.126,95%CI:1.033-1.229;P=0.007]and mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis(+7.0%,IRR=1.070,95%CI:1.021-1.120;P=0.004),while there was no significant change in mean CD4 at ART initiation(IRR=0.990,95%CI:0.956-1.026;P=0.585).By December 2019,the three outcomes were not significantly different from expected levels.In the stratified analysis,compared with the contemporaneous counterfactual,mean CD4 at ART initiation showed significant increases in Northern China(+3.3%,IRR=1.033,95%CI:1.001-1.065;P=0.041)and Northeastern China(+8.0%,IRR=1.080,95%CI:1.003-1.164;P=0.042)in the first month of treat-all;mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis showed significant increases in male(+5.6%,IRR=1.056,95%CI:1.010-1.104;P=0.016),female(+14.8%,IRR=1.148,95%CI:1.062-1.240;P<0.001),aged 26-35(+5.3%,IRR=1.053,95%CI:1.001-1.109;P=0.048)and>50(+7.8%,IRR=1.078,95%CI:1.000-1.161;P=0.046),heterosexual transmission(+12.4%,IRR=1.124,95%CI:1.042-1.213;P=0.002)and Southwestern China(+12.9%,IRR=1.129,95%CI:1.055-1.208;P<0.001)in the first month of treat-all.Conclusions The implementation of treat-all policy in China was associated with a positive effect on HIV care and treatment outcomes.To advance the work of rapid ART,efforts should be made to streamline the testing and ART initiation process,provide comprehensive support services,and address the issue of uneven distribution of medical resources.Xinsheng Wu Guohui Wu Ping Ma Rugang Wang Linghua Li Yinghui Sun Junjie Xu Yuwei Li Tong Zhang Quanmin Li Yuecheng Yang Lijing Wang Xiaoli Xin Ying Qiao Bingxue Fang Zhen Lu Xinyi Zhou Yuanyi Chen Qi Liu Gengfeng Fu Hongxia Wei Xiaojie Huang Bin Su Hui Wang Huachun Zou 2023Infectious Diseases of Poverty2023,12,4:0
12Recent Advances in Wide-Bandgap Organic-Inorganic Halide Perovskite Solar Cells and Tandem Application显示文摘Perovskite-based tandem solar cells have attracted increasing interest because of its great potential to surpass the Shockley-Queisser limit set for single-junction solar cells.In the tandem architectures,the wide-bandgap(WBG)perovskites act as the front absorber to offer higher open-circuit voltage(VOC)for reduced thermalization losses.Taking advantage of tunable bandgap of the perovskite materials,the WBG perovskites can be easily obtained by substituting halide iodine with bromine,and substituting organic ions FA and MA with Cs.To date,the most concerned issues for the WBG perovskite solar cells(PSCs)are huge VOC deficit and severe photo-induced phase separation.Reducing VOC loss and improving photostability of the WBG PSCs are crucial for further efficiency breakthrough.Recently,scientists have made great efforts to overcome these key issues with tremendous progresses.In this review,we first summarize the recent progress of WBG perovskites from the aspects of compositions,additives,charge transport layers,interfaces and preparation methods.The key factors affecting efficiency and stability are then carefully discussed,which would provide decent guidance to develop highly efficient and stable WBG PSCs for tandem application.Ting Nie Zhimin Fang Xiaodong Ren Yuwei Duan Shengzhong(Frank)Liu 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,5:0
13Spatio-temporal Distribution Characteristics and Environmental Impact Factors of Lung Cancer Mortality: A Case Study of Yuhui District in Bengbu City, China显示文摘Among cancers, lung cancer is the most common cause of death in China. For the prevention and control of lung cancer, it is necessary to investigate the spatial and temporal distribution of lung cancer mortality, as well as the changes in the trend and the affecting mechanism. Based on statistics and auto-correlation analysis, this paper studied the spatial and temporal distribution of lung cancer mortality in Yuhui District, Bengbu, Huaihe River Basin, from 2017 to 2020. In addition, Spearman’s Rank Correlation Assessment Model and Geographic Detector Model were used to examine the relationship between environmental factors and lung cancer mortality to identify impact factors and their mechanisms. The findings indicated that: 1) from the characteristics of temporal distribution, the number of lung cancer deaths exhibited a linear growth tendency, with the highest mortality in winter;2) from the characteristics of spatial distribution, lung cancer mortality showed a strong spatial agglomeration form, concentrating on two clustering areas, located in the old city and the central city of Bengbu, near the Huaihe River;3) from the point of view of the whole research area, there were 15 impact factors with significant correlation in the built and natural environment factors. The significant impacting factors in the built environment included land use, road traffic, spatial form and blue-green space, which could indirectly affect lung cancer mortality, while air pollution and temperature constituted the significant impacting factors in the natural environment;4) the influence of screened environmental factors on lung cancer mortality was different. Spatial stratified heterogeneity assessment, the interaction among environmental factors demonstrated statistical significance, it was found that the interaction between environmental factors in pairs had a significant enhancement effect on lung cancer mortality. 14Study on Removal Effect of Ammonia Nitrogen in Sewage by the Mixed Substrate显示文摘Red brick,cement brick and ceramsite were taken as the substrate of constructed wetland,and removal effect of ammonia nitrogen by the mixed substrate under different combination manners and aeration condition was explored. Research results showed that cement brick had the best removal effect on ammonia nitrogen,followed by red brick and ceramsite; aeration was favorable for the removal of ammonia nitrogen by each substrate and the mixed substrate; removal rate sequence of ammonia nitrogen by each mixed substrate was red brick + cement brick > red brick + cement brick + ceramsite > cement brick + ceramsite > red brick + ceramsite; the combination of red brick + cement brick had the best removal effect on ammonia nitrogen in domestic sewage. 15Ruscogenin alleviates LPS-triggered pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction through targeting NMMHC IIA to modulate TLR4signaling显示文摘Pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction is a hallmark of clinical pulmonary edema and contributes to the development of acute lung injury(ALI).Here we reported that ruscogenin(RUS),an effective steroidal sapogenin of Radix Ophiopogon japonicus,attenuated lipopolysaccharides(LPS)-induced pulmonary endothelial barrier disruption through mediating non-muscle myosin heavy chain IIA(NMMHC IIA)-Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)interactions.By in vivo and in vitro experiments,we observed that RUS administration significantly ameliorated LPS-triggered pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction and ALI.Moreover,we identified that RUS directly targeted NMMHC IIA on its N-terminal and head domain by serial affinity chromatography,molecular docking,biolayer interferometry,and microscale thermophoresis analyses.Downregulation of endothelial NMMHC IIA expression in vivo and in vitro abolished the protective effect of RUS.It was also observed that NMMHC IIA was dissociated from TLR4 and then activating TLR4 downstream Src/vascular endothelial cadherin(VE-cadherin)signaling in pulmonary vascular endothelial cells after LPS treatment,which could be restored by RUS.Collectively,these findings provide pharmacological evidence showing that RUS attenuates LPS-induced pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction by inhibiting TLR4/Src/VE-cadherin pathway through targeting NMMHC IIA and mediating NMMHC IIA-TLR4 interactions.Yunhao Wu Xiu Yu Yuwei Wang Yalin Huang Jiahui Tang Shuaishuai Gong Siyu Jiang Yuanli Xia Fang Li Boyang Yu Yuanyuan Zhang Junping Kou 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,3:0
16Differentiation of the Agonists and Antagonists of the α7 Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor显示文摘Theα7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors(nAChRs)are widely expressed in the central and peripheral nervous systems and are important drug targets for the treatment of neurological diseases.However,differentiation of the agonists and antagonists of the nAChR is difficult.In this study we aimed to develop a reliable and efficient computational approach for differentiation of the agonists from the antagonists of the nAChR based on a systematical analysis of 123 ligands(87 agonists,12 partial agonists,and 24 antagonists)binding with the extracellular domain of theα7 n AChR chimera.Our results suggest that the ligand size and ligand binding affinity cannot differentiate the agonists from the antagonists of the nAChR.The ligand efficiency that considers both ligand binding affinity and size for the agonists is overall more left shifted in comparison to the antagonists,but the values of the ligand efficiency still cannot differentiate the agonists from the antagonists unless the values are either relatively high(more than-0.3 kcal mol^-1)or relatively low(less than-0.45 kcal mol^-1).Our results suggest that accurate prediction of the agonist or antagonist of the nAChR is challenging and the ligand innate configuration has to be considered as an extra for differentiation of the agonists from the antagonists of the nAChR.WU Guanzhao XU Qingliang BAO Yilei LIU Yuwei LI Qian FANG Zhengyu FU Jingyi DING Yuhang LIANG Zhiqing JIANG Tao YU Rilei 2019Journal of Ocean University of China2019,18,5:0
