1Time-lapse geophysical technology-based study on overburden strata changes induced by modern coal mining显示文摘To study the impact of modern coal mining on overlying strata and its water bearing conditions,integrated time-lapse geophysical prospecting integrating 3D seismic,electrical and ground penetrating radar method were used.Through observing and analyzing the geophysical data variations of all stages of pre-mining,mining and post-mining as well as post-mining deposition stable period,impacts of coal mining on stratigraphic structure and its water bearing were studied and modern coal mining induced stratigraphic change pattern was summarized.The research result shows that the stratigraphic structure and the water bearing of surface layer during modern coal mining have self-healing pattern with mining time;the self-healing capability of near-surface strata is relatively strong while the roof weak;water bearing selfhealing of near-surface strata is relatively high while the roof strata adjacent to mined coal beds low.Due to integrated time-lapse geophysical prospecting technology has extra time dimension which makes up the deficiency of static analysis of conventional geophysical methods,it can better highlight the dynamic changes of modern coal mining induced overburden strata and its water bearing conditions.Wenfeng Du Suping Peng Guowei Zhu Feng Yang 2014International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,2:16

3The function and clinical application of extracellular vesicles in innate immune regulation显示文摘The innate immune system plays a crucial role in the host defense against viral and microbial infection.Exosomes constitute a subset of extracellular vesicles(EVs)that can be released by almost all cell types.Owing to their capacity to shield the payload from degradation and to evade recognition and subsequent removal by the immune system,exosomes efficiently transport functional components to recipient cells.Accumulating evidence has recently shown that exosomes derived from tumor cells,host cells and even bacteria and parasites mediate the communication between the invader and innate immune cells and thus play an irreplaceable function in the dissemination of pathogens and donor cell-derived molecules,modulating the innate immune responses of the host.In this review,we describe the current understanding of EVs(mainly focusing on exosomes)and summarize and discuss their crucial roles in determining innate immune responses.Additionally,we discuss the potential of using exosomes as biomarkers and cancer vaccines in diagnostic and therapeutic applications.Xiaoxue Zhou Feng Xie Lin Wang Long Zhang Suping Zhang Meiyu Fang Fangfang Zhou 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,4:6
4Identification of ExpIdentification of Expressed Resistance Gene Analogs from Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Expressed Sequence Tags显示文摘Low genetic diversity makes peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) very vulnerable to plant pathogens, causing severe yield loss and reduced seed quality. Several hundred partial genomic DNA sequences as nucleotide-binding-site leucine-rich repeat (NBS-LRR) resistance genes (R) have been identified, but a small portion with expressed transcripts has been found. We aimed to identify resistance gene analogs (RGAs) from peanut expressed sequence tags (ESTs) and to develop polymorphic markers. The protein sequences of 54 known R genes were used to identify homologs from peanut ESTs from public databases. A total of 1,053 ESTs corresponding to six different classes of known R genes were recovered, and assembled 156 contigs and 229 singletons as peanut-expressed RGAs. There were 69 that encoded for NBS-LRR proteins, 191 that encoded for protein kinases, 82 that encoded for LRR-PK/transmembrane proteins, 28 that encoded for Toxin reductases, 11 that encoded for LRR-domain containing proteins and four that encoded for TM-domain containing proteins. Twenty-eight simple sequence repeats (SSRs) were identified from 25 peanut expressed RGAs. One SSR polymorphic marker (RGA121) was identified. Two polymerase chain reaction-based markers (Ahsw-1 and Ahsw-2) developed from RGA013 were homologous to the Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV) resistance gene. All three markers were mapped on the same linkage group AhIV. 6Humulus japonicus extract alleviates oxidative stress and apoptosis in 6-hydroxydopamine-induced PC12 cells显示文摘Objective:To explore the possible neuroprotective activities of Humulus japonicus extract against Parkinson's disease(PD)in a cellular model.Methods:PD was modeled in PC12 cells using 6-hydroxydopamine(6-OHDA).The cell activity,intracellular levels of reactive oxygen species(ROS),anti-oxidative and anti-apoptotic effects,and other related indicators and related signaling pathways were evaluated to elucidate the neuroprotective effects of Humulus japonicus extract.Results:Humulus japonicus extract exhibited anti-oxidative and anti-apoptotic effects in 6-OHDA-stimulated PC12 cells.It also reduced oxidative stress-induced ROS accumulation;upregulated antioxidant enzymes,such as glutathione,catalase,heme oxidase-1,and 8-oxguanine glycosylase 1;promoted cell survival by decreasing BAX and increasing Bcl-2 and sirtuin 1 expression via the MAPK and/or Nrf2 signaling pathways.Conclusions:Humulus japonicus extract has antioxidative and anti-apoptotic effects and could be developed as a promising candidate for preventing and treating oxidative stress-related neurodegenerative diseases.Feng Wang Byoung Ok Cho Jae Young Shin Suping Hao Seon Il Jang 2022Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2022,12,5:2
7CRISPR-Cas adaptive immune systems in Sulfolobales:genetic studies and molecular mechanisms显示文摘CRISPR-Cas systems provide the small RNA-based adaptive immunity to defend against invasive genetic elements in archaea and bacteria.Organisms of Sulfolobales,an order of thermophilic acidophiles belonging to the Crenarchaeotal Phylum,usually contain both type I and typeⅢCRISPR-Cas systems.Two species,Saccharolobus solfataricus and Sulfolobus islandicus,have been important models for CRISPR study in archaea,and knowledge obtained from these studies has greatly expanded our understanding of molecular mechanisms of antiviral defense in all three steps:adaptation,expression and crRNA processing,and interference.Four subtypes of CRISPR-Cas systems are common in these organisms,including I-A,I-D,Ⅲ-B,andⅢ-D.These cas genes form functional modules,e.g.,all genes required for adaptation and for interference in the I-A immune system are clustered together to form aCas and i Cas modules.Genetic assays have been developed to study mechanisms of adaptation and interference by different CRISPR-Cas systems in these model archaea,and these methodologies are useful in demonstration of the protospacer-adjacent motif(PAM)-dependent DNA interference by I-A interference modules and multiple interference activities byⅢ-B Cmr systems.Ribonucleoprotein effector complexes have been isolated for SulfolobalesⅢ-B andⅢ-D systems,and their biochemical characterization has greatly enriched the knowledge of molecular mechanisms of these novel antiviral immune responses.Zhenxiao Yu Suping Jiang Yuan Wang Xuhui Tian Pengpeng Zhao Jianan Xu Mingxia Feng Qunxin She 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,5:2
8中国南亚热带土壤易分解有机碳和水稳性团聚体对造林的响应显示文摘造林被认为可以提高土壤碳稳定性并促进土壤碳累积。然而,实验结果差异很大,造林在提高土壤碳稳定性方面的作用仍存在争议。因此,在森林生态系统中不同土壤碳库对造林如何响应目前尚不清楚。基于此,本文对亚热带地区的尾叶桉林(Eucalyptus urophylla)、厚荚相思林(Acacia crassicarpa)、红锥林(Castanopsis hystrix)、10树种混交林和自然恢复草坡等5种不同林型的土壤碳组分进行了研究,评估其不同土层(0–10、10–20、20–40和40–60 cm)中的土壤易分解有机碳(容易被高锰酸钾氧化的有机碳ROC和土壤可溶性有机碳DOC)及土壤团聚体相关的碳对造林的响应。实验结果表明,造林(与自然恢复草坡比较)和林型并没有显著影响土壤ROC浓度,而自然恢复草坡土壤的DOC浓度在4个土层中均最高。0–10 cm土层中各径级的土壤团聚体其碳(C)浓度均是红锥林最高。此外,在任一土层中,林型对不同径级土壤水稳性团聚体比例的影响均不显著。但是土壤深度显著改变土壤团聚体的分布,0–20 cm土层主要为>0.25 mm粒径的团聚体,20–60 cm土层则是0.053–2 mm粒径的团聚体占主导。这些结果显示造林和林型影响土壤DOC和团聚体C,而且它们相比于ROC对造林的响应更为敏感。研究发现,与自然恢复相比,人工林降低了土壤DOC浓度,暗示它可能会减少土壤C的淋溶损失。此外,红锥林能够通过物理保护提高表土层中土壤碳的稳定性。本研究为关注土壤碳汇功能时的中国南亚热带地区造林树种选择提供了有价值的信息。Yuanqi Chen Yu Zhang Shiqin Yu Feng Li Suping Liu Lixia Zhou Shenglei Fu 2021Journal of Plant Ecology2021,14,2:2

12Modulation of optical absorption edge in TiO_2/SiO_2 mesoporous composites显示文摘TiO-2/SiO-2 mesoporous composite was synthesized by soaking_hydrolyzing method and its structure was characterized. The relationship between the shift of absorption edge and the amount of TiO-2 nanoparticles within the mesopores of SiO-2 as well as the annealing temperature was investigated. 16Molten Salt Derived Graphene-Like Carbon Nanosheets Wrapped SiO_(x)/Carbon Submicrospheres with Enhanced Lithium Storage显示文摘There is no doubt that SiO_(x) and carbon composite is one of the promising anode materials for lithium-ion batteries owing to its high capacity and rational cycling stability.Herein,we report a sol-gel synthesis followed by molten salt carbonization route to fabricate graphene-like carbon nanosheet wrapped SiO_(x)/C submicrospheres(SiO_(x)/C@2D-C).The in-situ generated carbon nanosheets under molten salt condition can further improve the electroconductivity,restrain the volumetric expansion and guarantee the structural integrity of the electrode.As a result,the as-obtained SiO_(x)/C@2D-C delivers a discharge capacity of 559 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.5 A·g^(-1) after 200 cycles and 548 mAh·g^(-1) at 1.0 A·g^(-1) even after 1000 cycles.The full cell assembled with SiO_(x)/C@2D-C as anode and commercial LiFeP0_(4) as cathode can achieve an energy density of 200 Wh·kg^(-1) and maintain a capacity of 66.7% after 100 cycles with a working potential of 2.8 V.The approach is simple and cost effective,which is promising for mass production of SiO_(x)-based materials for high energy LIBs.Qianliang Zhang Suping Han Fang Tian Zhenyu Feng Baojuan Xi Shenglin Xiong Yitai Qian 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,5:1
