1Bidding Strategy of a Virtual Power Plant Considering Carbon-electricity Trading显示文摘Virtual power plant(VPP)aggregates large amounts of distributed energy and controllable loads.The comprehensive consideration of carbon emissions and electricity transactions has great significance in improving the VPP operation’s economic efficiency.In this paper,the bidding strategy of the VPP by considering the carbon-electricity integration trading in an auxiliary service(AS)market is studied.First of all,the basic structure and operating features of the VPP are briefly introduced.Then,the bidding strategy model of carbon-electricity integration trading in an auxiliary service market is proposed and the corresponding objective function and the constraint conditions are also analyzed.Furthermore,the GAMS solver is utilized to give the optimal solution of the bidding strategy model.Finally,the effectiveness of the bidding strategy of a VPP based on the consideration of carbon-electricity integration trading is verified through simulation cases.Dechang Yang Shaowen He Qiuyue Chen Dingqian Li Hrvoje Pandzic 2019CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,3:14
2Effects of heavy metal pollution of highway origin on soil nematode guilds in North Shenyang, China显示文摘Soil samples were collected with distance at 5,20,40,80,160,and 320 m from the Shen-Ha(Shenyang-Harbin) Highway,Northeast China,to investigate the effect of heavy metals of highway origin on soil nematode guilds.The contents of soil Pb,Cu,Zn,and the nematode community structure were analyzed.The results showed that the contents of total and available Pb,Cu,Zn varied significantly with the different distances from the highway.Pb was the main pollutant in the soils in the vicinity of Shen-Ha Highway.The zone from 20 to 40 m away from the highway was the most polluted area.The highest abundance of soil nematodes was found at 5 m while the lowest at 20 m away from the highway.Thirty six genera of nematodes belonging to 23 families were identified.Nematode guilds having different responses to soil heavy metals were classified into four types.Soil nematode guilds may act as a prominent indicator to heavy metal pollution of highway origin.HAN Dechang ZHANG Xiaoke TOMAR Vijay Vikram Singh LI Qi WEN Dazhong LIANG Wenju 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,2:10

4Enhanced thermal shock and oxidation resistance of Si_2BC_3N ceramics through MWCNTs incorporation显示文摘Multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)reinforced Si_2BC_3N ceramics were prepared through mechanical alloying(MA)and following spark plasma sintering(SPS).The thermal shock resistance of Si_2BC_3N ceramics was evaluated comparatively through ice water quenching test and theoretical prediction.Furthermore,the oxidation resistance of MWCNTs incorporated Si_2BC_3N ceramics was evaluated under high temperature.The results show that the calculated parameters such as the critical thermal shock temperature(R)and the thermal stresses resistance(R_(st)),as well as the toughness(R'')are improved with addition of 1 vol%MWCNTs.In addition,the crack propagation resistance of 1 vol%MWCNTs incorporated Si_2BC_3N ceramics is obviously improved through generating more tortuous crack propagation paths attributing to the'crack bridging','pull-out',and'crack deflection'mechanisms of MWCNTs.Therefore,the residual strengths of 1 vol%MWCNTs containing specimens remained the highest after the thermal shock tests.Besides,the present work also reveals that the oxidation resistance is more sensitive to relative density than MWCNTs addition.Ning LIAO Dechang JIA Zhihua YANG Yu ZHOU Yawei LI 2018Journal of Advanced Ceramics2018,7,3:3
5Quantification of the stiffness and strength of cadherin ectodomain binding with different ions显示文摘The stiffness and strength of extracellular(EC) region of cadherin are proposed to be two important mechanical properties both for cadherin as a mechanotransductor and for the formation of cell-cell adhesion. In this study,we quantitatively characterized the stiffness and strength of EC structure when it binds with different types of ions by molecular dynamics simulations. Results show that EC structure exhibits a rod-like shape with high stiffness and strength when it binds with the bivalent ions of calcium or magnesium. However,it switches to a soft and collapsed conformation when it binds with the monovalent ions of sodium or potassium. 6Efficacy of combined inhibition of mTOR and ERK/MAPK pathways in treating a tuberous sclerosis complex cell model显示文摘Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is an autosomal dominant tumor syndrome which afflicts multiple organs and for which there is no cure, such that TSC patients may develop severe mental retardation and succumb to renal or respiratory failure. TSC derives from inactivating mutations of either the TSC1 or TSC2 tumor suppressor gene, and the resulting inactivation of the TSC1/TSC2 protein complex causes hyperactivation of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), leading to uncontrolled cell growth and proliferation. Recent clinical trials of targeted suppression of mTOR have yielded only modest success in TSC patients. It was proposed that abrogation of a newly identified mTOR-mediated negative feedback regulation on extracellular signal-regulated kinase/mitogen-activated protein kinase (ERK/MAPK) signaling pathway and on the well-documented RTK-PI3K-AKT signaling cascade could limit the efficacy of mTOR inhibitors in the treatment of TSC patients. Therefore, we speculate that dual inhibition of mTOR and ERK/MAPK pathways may overcome the disadvantage of single agent therapies and boost the efficacy of mTOR targeted therapies for TSC patients. Investigation of this hypothesis in a TSC cell model revealed that mTOR suppression with an mTOR inhibitor, rapamycin (sirolimus), led to up-regulation of ERK/MAPK signaling in mouse Tsc2 knockout cells and that this augmented signaling was attenuated by concurrent administration of a MEK1/2 inhibitor, PD98059. When compared with monotherapy, combinatorial application of rapamycin and PD98059 had greater inhibitory effects on Tsc2 deficient cell proliferation, suggesting that combined suppression of mTOR and ERK/MAPK signaling pathways may have advantages over single mTOR inhibition in the treatment of TSC patients.Ruifang Mi Jianhui Ma Dechang Zhang Limin Li Hongbing Zhang 2009Journal of Genetics and Genomics2009,36,6:3
7Pulling out a peptide chain from β-sheet crystallite: Propagation of instability of H-bonds under shear force显示文摘Anti-parallel β-sheet crystallite as the main component of silk fibroin has attracted much attention due to its superior mechanical properties. In this study, we examine the processes of pulling a peptide chain from β-sheet crystallite using steered molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the rupture behavior of the crystallite. We show that the failure of β-sheet crystallite was accompanied by a propagation of instability of hydrogen-bonds(H-bonds) in the crystallite. In addition, we find that there is an optimum size of the crystallite at which the H-bonds can work cooperatively to achieve the highest shear strength. In addition, we find that the stiffness of loading device and the loading rates have significant effects on the rupture behavior of β-sheet crystallite.The stiff loading device facilitates the rebinding of the Hbond network in the stick-slip motion between the chains,while the soft one suppresses it. Moreover, the rupture force of β-sheet crystallites decreases with loading rate. Particularly, when the loading rate decreases to a critical value, the rupture force of the β-sheet crystallite becomes independent of the loading rates. 8Discovery of ABO_(4)scheelites with the extra low thermal conductivity through high-throughput calculations显示文摘Searching for new materials with extra low thermal conductivities is significant in numerous fields like thermal barrier coatings and thermoelectric devices.Traditional multiple-component design has successfully reduced the thermal conductivity,but it also dramatically increases the complexity of manufactural technologies and the risk of material failures.In this work,a specific category known as ABO_(4) scheelites that with both simple crystal structure and the structural signature of the low lattice thermal conductivity is explored.High-throughput calculations are employed to screen for the materials with the targeted performance by multi-dimensional mechanical/thermal property criteria and a database of 46 stable scheelites is constructed.Seven scheelites with both ultra-low thermal conductivities(<1.2 W/(m∙K))and quasi-ductility are predicted to be novel thermal insulation materials.Low thermal conductivities prefer the scheelites with large valence disparity between“A”and“B”cations and/or small ionic radius ratio.The adopted strategy starting from the structural fingerprint and the data-driven material selection is expected to be a reference of future structural and functional ceramics design.Yuchen Liu Dechang Jia Yu Zhou Yanchun Zhou Juanli Zhao Qian Li Bin Liu 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,4:2
9Mechanical tension promotes skin nerve regeneration by upregulating nerve growth factor expression显示文摘This study aimed to explore the role of mechanical tension in hypertrophic scars and the change in nerve density using hematoxylin-eosin staining and S100 immunohistochemistry, and to observe the expression of nerve growth factor by western blot analysis. The results demonstrated that mechanical tension contributed to the formation of a hyperplastic scar in the back skin of rats, in conjunction with increases in both nerve density and nerve growth factor expression in the scar tissue. 11Corrosion Resistance of Plasma Sprayed Ceramic Composite Coatings on Q235 Substrate显示文摘The corrosion resistance of SiO2/A12O3, TiO2/Al2O3 and (SiO2+TiO2)/Al2O3 ceramic composite coatings on Q235 substrate fabricated by means of plasma spraying was investigated. The results show that A12O3+13 wt pct TiO2 ceramic coating has the highest density, the lowest connected porosity and the best corrosion resistance. 16A novel method for analyzing dominant oscillation mode based on improved EMD and signal energy algorithm显示文摘In this paper,a novel method that integrates the improved empirical mode decomposition(EMD)and signal energy algorithm is proposed to estimate the dominant oscillation parameters and corresponding mode shape.Firstly,the EMD with symmetrical extrema extension(SEE)is utilized to decompose the measured data from wide area measurement system(WAMS)into a finite set of intrinsic mode functions(IMFs).Then,the signal energy algorithm is used to calculate the approximate oscillation parameters of the IMFs.The nodes involved the dominant oscillation mode are classified based on the calculated frequency and reasonable threshold.Furthermore,for the dominant oscillation mode,the IMF with maximum mean amplitude is defined as the reference.Next,the relative phases(RPs)between the reference IMF and other IMFs are calculated in order to identify the negative and positive oscillation groups.According to the values of RPs,the coherent group and corresponding node contribution factor(NCF)can be identified,and the dominant approximate mode shape(AMS)can also be determined.The efficiency of the proposed approach is tested by applying it to synthetic signal and measured data from the simulation model.YANG DeChang REHTANZ C LI Yong TANG Wei 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,9:1

19Composition-dependent structural characteristics and mechanical properties of amorphous SiBCN ceramics by ab-initio calculations显示文摘The atomic structural features and the mechanical properties of amorphous silicoboron carbonitride ceramics with 13 different compositions in the Si–BN–C phase diagram are investigated employing ab-initio calculations.Both chemical bonds and local structures within the amorphous network relate to the elemental composition.The distribution of nine types of chemical bonds is composition-dependent,where the B–C,Si–N,Si–C,and B–N bonds hold a large proportion for all compositions.Si prefers to be tetrahedrally coordinated,while B and N prefer sp^(2)-like trigonal coordination.In the case of C,the tetrahedral coordination is predominant at relatively low C contents,while the trigonal coordination is found to be the main feature with the increasing C content.Such local structural characteristics greatly influence the mechanical properties of SiBCN ceramics.Among the studied amorphous ceramics,SiB_(2)C_(3)N_(2) and SiB_(3)C_(2)N_(3) with low Si contents and moderate C and/or BN contents have high elastic moduli,high tensile/shear strengths,and good debonding capability.The increment of Si,C,and BN contents on this basis results in the decrease of mechanical properties.The increasing Si content leads to the increment of Si-contained bonds that reduce the bond strength of SiBCN ceramics,while the latter two cases are attributed to the raise of sp^(2)-like trigonal configuration of C and BN.These discoveries are expected to guide the composition-tailored optimization of SiBCN ceramics.Yuchen Liu Yu Zhou Dechang Jia Zhihua Yang Wenjiu Duan Daxin Li Shuzhou Li Ralf Riedel Bin Liu 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,5:1
