| 2 | The temporal and spatial patterns and potential evaluation of China's energy resources development显示文摘The issue of China's energy supply security is not only the key problem which affects China's rapid and sustainable development in the 21st century,but also the one which international attention focuses on.Based on the notable characteristic of spatial imbalance between energy production and consumption in China,this paper takes the evolution of China's primary energy resources development(excluding hydropower) from 1949 to 2007 as the study object,with the aim to sum up the evolutive characteristics and laws of China's energy resources development in the past nearly 60 years.Then,based on comprehensive considerations of coal's,oil's and natural gas's basic reserves,qualities,geological conditions,production status,and ecological service function of every province,this paper adopts development potential index(DP)to evaluate the development potential of every province's energy resources,and divide them into different ranks.Conclusions are drawn as follows:(1) Generally speaking,China's gross energy production was increasing in waves from 1949 to 2007.From the viewpoint of spatial patterns,China's energy resources development has shown a characteristic of 'concentrating to the north and central areas,and evolving from linear-shaped to 'T-shaped' pattern gradually since 1949.(2) The structure evolution of China's energy resources development in general has shown a trend of 'coal proportion is dominant but decreasing,while oil and gas proportions are increasing' since 1949.(3) At the provincial scale,China's energy resources development potential could be divided into large,sub-large,general and small ranks,four in all.In the future,the spatial pattern of China's energy production will evolve from 'T-shaped' to '∏-shaped pattern'.These conclusions will help to clarify the temporal and spatial characteristics and laws of China's energy resources development,and will be beneficial for China to design scientific and rational energy development strategies and plans,coordinate spatial imbalance of energy production and consumption,ensure national energy supply,avoid energy resources waste and disorderly development,and promote regional sustainable development under the globalization background with changeful international energy market. | MA Beibei LU Chunxia ZHANG Lei CHENG Xiaoling | 2010 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2010,20,3: | 8 |

| 4 | A quality evaluation strategy for Rhizoma coptidis from a variety of different sources using chromatographic fingerprinting combined with biological fingerprinting显示文摘Most of herbal medicines of different sources are used for the same treatment goal in clinic despite their tremendous differences of the quality.Because the clinical efficacy is closely related to the quality of medicines,the implementation of an effective quality control(QC)process is vital.Chemical methods based on content determination and chromatographic fingerprints(CFs)have been recommended as powerful tools.In spite of advances in QC,it is still difficult to determine that which of the chemical compositions can best reflect the correlation with the desired biological activity.Herein,we have focused on the biological activities of multi-source herbal medicines to establish an analytical method.By looking for correlations between the biological activities and their chemical compositions,the method can identify reasonable chemical indicators or chemical methods with biological activity information.In this study,high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)and microcalorimetry are combined as a useful method for evaluating the quality of Rhizoma coptidis from different sources.The results of biological fingerprints(BFs)showed that the antibacterial activity sequence of R.coptidis of different sources was Coptis teeta Wall.(CT)>Coptis chinensis Franch.(CC)>Coptis deltoidea C.Y.Cheng et Hsiao(CD).The'spectrum-activity'relationships between CFs and BFs were investigated using the canonical correlation analysis(CCA).Compared with the CCA result of CFs and BFs,the canonical correlation coefficient r1and r2were 0.9974 and 0.9752,respectively.It revealed that there are a close correlation between the spectrum-activity relationships and several of the major anti-bacterial components in the CFs,including jatrorrhizine,coptisine,palmatine,and berberine.Of course,R.coptidis was only a representative of multisource medical plants.The result of the current study will provide an effective reference for evaluating the quality of multisource herbal medicines. | LI JunXian YAN Dan MA LiNa XIONG Yin YAN ChunXia LI BaoCai PENG Cheng XIAO XiaoHe | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,33: | 5 |
| 5 | Phosphofructokinase-1 Negatively Regulates Neurogenesis from Neural Stem Cells显示文摘Phosphofructokinase-1(PFK-1),a major regulatory glycolytic enzyme,has been implicated in the functions of astrocytes and neurons.Here,we report that PFK-1 negatively regulates neurogenesis from neural stem cells(NSCs)by targeting pro-neural transcriptional factors.Using in vitro assays,we found that PFK-1 knockdown enhanced,and PFK-1 overexpression inhibited the neuronal differentiation of NSCs,which was consistent with the findings from NSCs subjected to 5 h of hypoxia.Meanwhile,the neurogenesis induced by PFK-1 knockdown was attributed to the increased proliferation of neural progenitors and the commitment of NSCs to the neuronal lineage.Similarly,in vivo knockdown of PFK-1 also increased neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus.Finally,we demonstrated that the neurogenesis mediated by PFK-1 was likely achieved by targeting mammalian achaete-scute homologue-1(Mash 1),neuronal differentiation factor(NeuroD),and sex-determining region Y(SRY)-related HMG box 2(Sox2).All together,our results reveal PFK-1 as an important regulator of neurogenesis. | Fengyun Zhang Xiaodan Qian Cheng Qin Yuhui Lin Haiyin Wu Lei Chang Chunxia Luo Dongya Zhu | 2016 | Neuroscience Bulletin2016,32,3: | 4 |

| 9 | Urban Fresh Water Resources Consumption of China显示文摘From the point of view of urban consumption behavior, urban fresh water consumption could be classified as three types, namely, direct, indirect and induced water consumption. A calculation approach of urban fresh water consumption was presented based on the theory of urban basic material consumption and the input-output method, which was utilized to calculate urban fresh water consumption of China, and to analyze its structural change and causes. The results show that the total urban fresh water consumption increased 561.7×109m3, and the proportion to the total national fresh water resources increased by 20 percentage points from 1952 to 2005. The proportion of direct and induced water consumption had been continuously rising, and it increased by 15 and 35 percentage points separately from 1952 to 2005, while the proportion of indirect water consumption decreased by 50 percentage points. Urban indirect water consumption was mainly related to urban grain, beef and mutton consumption, and urban induced water consumption had a close relationship with the amount of carbon emission per capita. The fermented SMS effectively regulated the bulk density, total porosity, aeration porosity and water-holding porosity of rice seedling-raising substrate. With the increased addition amount of fermented SMS, the bulk density of rice seedling-raising substrate was decreased, but the total porosity, aeration porosity and water-holding porosity were increased.
