| 2 | Use of three-dimensional printing in preoperative planning in orthopaedic trauma surgery: A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND With the increasing complexity of surgical interventions performed in orthopaedic trauma surgery and the improving technologies used in threedimensional(3D)printing,there has been an increased interest in the concept.It has been shown that 3D models allow surgeons to better visualise anatomy,aid in planning and performing complex surgery.It is however not clear how best to utilise the technique and whether this results in better outcomes.AIM To evaluate the effect of 3D printing used in pre-operative planning in orthopaedic trauma surgery on clinical outcomes.METHODS We performed a comprehensive systematic review of the literature and a metaanalysis.Medline,Ovid and Embase were searched from inception to February 8,2018.Randomised controlled trials,case-control studies,cohort studies and case series of five patients or more were included across any area of orthopaedic trauma.The primary outcomes were operation time,intra-operative blood loss and fluoroscopy used.RESULTS Seventeen studies(922 patients)met our inclusion criteria and were reviewed.The use of 3D printing across all specialties in orthopaedic trauma surgery demonstrated an overall reduction in operation time of 19.85%[95%confidence intervals(CI):(-22.99,-16.71)],intra-operative blood loss of 25.73%[95%CI:(-31.07,-20.40)],and number of times fluoroscopy was used by 23.80%[95%CI:(-38.49,-9.10)].CONCLUSION Our results suggest that the use of 3D printing in pre-operative planning in orthopaedic trauma reduces operative time,intraoperative blood loss and the number of times fluoroscopy is used. | Catrin Morgan Chetan Khatri Sammy A Hanna Hutan Ashrafian Khaled M Sarraf | 2020 | World Journal of Orthopedics2020，11，1： | 7 |

| 6 | Anti-arthritis activity of roots of Hemidesmus indicus R.Br.(Anantmul)in rats显示文摘Objective:To investigate the protective effects of hydroalcoholic and its fractions from roots of Hemidesmus indicus on arthritis in in vitro models of rodents.Methods:Preliminary phytochemical analysis and thin-layer chromoatography were performed to analyze constituents of hydroalcoholic extract and its three fraction namely ethyl acetate fraction,chloroform fraction and residual fraction of mot of Hemidesmus indicus.Arthritis rats models were established by Complete Freund’s Adjuvant.The parameters including paw edema,body weight,arthritic index,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,serum rheumatoid factor,serum C-reactive protein,serum nitrite level,and histopathology of synovial joints were observed.Methotrexate was taken as positive control.Results:Rats treated with hydroalcoholic extract(450 mg/kg,p.o.),ethyl acetate (75 mg/kg,p.o.),chloroform(60 mg/kg,p.o) and residual fractions(270 mg/kg,p.o.),showed significant decrease in physical and biochemical parameters compared with arthritic model rats. Hydroalcoholic extract and its ethyl acetate fraction of Hemidesmus indicus showed significantly higher anti-arthritic activity than chloroform and residual fraction.Histopathological analysis demonstrated that both of hydroalcoholic extract and its ethyl acetate fraction had comparable anti-arthritic activity with methotrexates.Conclusions:The present study suggests that Hemidesmus indicus has protective activity against arthritis and the activity might be attributed to presence of terpenoid in hydroalcoholic extract,as well as in ethyl acetate fraction. | Alka Mehta Neeraj K Sethiya Chetan Mehta GB Shah | 2012 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2012，5，2： | 4 |
| 7 | Experimental investigation of a high aspect ratio,low speed contra-rotating fan stage with complex inflow distortion显示文摘This paper focuses on the response of a high aspect ratio,low speed contra-rotating fan with complex inflow distortion.The total pressure at the inlet is artificially distorted by means of two different sets of screens with different porosities to generate a hub-strong complex distortion and a tip-strong complex distortion.Detailed flow analyses were conducted for the design speed of rotor-1 in combination with off design speeds of rotor-2 both for the design and the peak pressure mass flow rates.In order to understand the extent of inlet distortion,the distortion sector was rotated circumferentially at intervals of 151 to cover the entire annulus.Detailed measurements of total pressure,static pressure,velocity components and flow angles were carried out at the inlet of the first rotor,between the two rotors and at the exit of the second rotor using three seven hole probes.The study reveals a few interesting aspects on the effect of complex inflow distortion on the flow behavior of a contra-rotating stage.The presence of a low porosity screen reduces the magnitude of axial velocity and generates higher spread of distortion near the localized region of placement of the screen.The hub-strong complex distortion has a greater effect of presence of this low porosity screen in both circumferential and radial directions.This leads to higher stagnation pressure variation at the inlet.On the other hand,for the tip-strong complex distortion case,the extent of distortion is observed to be higher in the circumferential direction towards the casing rather than radial.The localized improvement in the flow(in tip-strong inflow distortion)near the tip region improves the performance both in terms of pressure rise and efficiency of stage compared to hub–strong complex distortion. | Chetan Mistry A.M.Pradeepn | 2014 | Propulsion and Power Research2014，3，2： | 3 |

| 9 | EST与开腹治疗单纯胆总管结石的卫生经济学评价显示文摘目的对内镜下十二指肠乳头括约肌切开术(endoscopic sphincterotomy,EST)或开腹手术治疗胆总管结石进行卫生经济学评价。方法根据病案首页主要诊断的国际疾病分类编码(K80.506)检索胆总管结石,回顾性分析北京大学第三医院普外科2007年1月~2011年12月非急诊单纯胆总管结石患者采用EST或开腹手术的临床资料,根据手术方式分为EST组和开腹组,筛选2种术式具有同质性病例,比较2组住院时间、住院费用以及各单项费用的差异。结果共118例符合条件,EST组86例,开腹组32例。EST组住院时间(6.4±3.3)d,显著短于开腹组(14.7±5.1)d(t=-10.373,P=0.000),术前住院时间(3.1±2.4)d显著短于开腹组(6.2±4.6)d(t=-4.764,P=0.000),术后住院时间(3.3±2.0)d显著短于开腹组(8.5±3.0)d(t=-10.871,P=0.000)。EST组住院总费用(14 183.5±4382.4)元显著少于开腹组(20 895.1±7959.7)元(t=-5.821,P=0.000),西药费、化验费、检查费均显著少于开腹组(P<0.05),但手术治疗费(9447.1±3105.0)元与开腹组(8654.9±3239.3)元无统计学差异(t=1.218,P=0.226)。结论 EST的住院时间和住院费用均低于开腹手术,综合经济学指标优于开腹手术。 | 田兆兴 闫崴 吴虎兵 Nugessur Chetan Rai 李选 段丽萍 | 2013 | 中国微创外科杂志2013，13，3： | 3 |

| 16 | Elimination of antibiotic resistance genes and control of horizontal transfer risk by UV-based treatment of drinking water: A mini review显示文摘Antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB) and antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) have been recognized as one of the biggest public health issues of the 21 st century. Both ARB and ARGs have been determined in water after treatment with conventional disinfectants. Ultraviolet (UV) technology has been seen growth in application to disinfect the water. However, UV method alone is not adequate to degrade ARGs in water. Researchers are investigating the combination of UV with other oxidants (chlorine, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), peroxymonosulfate (PMS), and photocatalysts) to harness the high reactivity of produced reactive species (C1-, C1O -, Cl2-,-OH, and SO4-_) in such processes with constituents of cell (e.g., deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and its components) in order to increase the degradation efficiency of ARGs. This paper briefly reviews the current status of different UV-based treatments (UV/chlorination, UV/H2O2, UV/PMS, and UV-photocatalysis) to degrade ARGs and to control horizontal gene transfer (HGT) in water.
