| 1 | Selective laser melting of NiTi alloy with superior tensile property and shape memory effect显示文摘It is a challenge to develop complex-shaped Ni Ti shape memory alloy parts by traditional processing methods, due to the poor machinability of Ni Ti alloy. It is reported that selective laser melting(SLM) of additive manufacturing could overcome this problem. However, the reported SLM-produced Ni Ti exhibits poor tensile ductility due to the inner defects and adverse unidirectional columnar grains from SLM process. In this work, the defect-less SLM-Ni Ti with nondirective columnar grains was fabricated by optimizing the intraformational laser scanning length and interformational laser scanning direction. The obtained lath-shaped SLM-Ni Ti sample exhibits tensile strain of 15.6%, more than twice of the reported maximum result(7%). | 3 | Efficacy and safety of ginkgo injections in the treatment of angina pectoris caused by coronary heart disease in China: a network Meta-analysis and systematic review显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the clinical efficacy and safety of ginkgo injections(GIs)combined with conventional treatment(CT)against angina pectoris(AP)due to coronary heart disease(CH D).METHODS:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that used GIs to treat AP were searched in SinoMed,PubMed,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Chinese Scientific Journals Database,Wanfang Database,Embase and Cochrane Library until March 2017.The Cochrane 'risk of bias' method was used to evaluate the methodological quality of RCTs.Data were analyzed using Stata v13.1 and WinBUGS v1.4.3.RESULTS:A total of 73 RCTs involving 7621 patients were included.A Bayesian network Meta-analysis of RCTs was undertaken,and the advantages of four types of Gl-supplemented CT in AP treatment were determined.CONCLUSION:Gl-assisted CT was more effective against AP than CT alone.However,based on the limitations of the study,additional high-quality RCTs are required to confirm our findings. | Tan Di Wu Jiarui Jing Zhiwei Duan Xiaojiao Cui Yingying Liu Shi | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,3: | 8 |

| 5 | Targeting integrin pathways:mechanisms and advances in therapy显示文摘Integrins are considered the main cell-adhesion transmembrane receptors that play multifaceted roles as extracellular matrix(ECM)-cytoskeletal linkers and transducers in biochemical and mechanical signals between cells and their environment in a wide range of states in health and diseases.Integrin functions are dependable on a delicate balance between active and inactive status via multiple mechanisms,including protein-protein interactions,conformational changes,and trafficking.Due to their exposure on the cell surface and sensitivity to the molecular blockade,integrins have been investigated as pharmacological targets for nearly 40 years,but given the complexity of integrins and sometimes opposite characteristics,targeting integrin therapeutics has been a challenge.To date,only seven drugs targeting integrins have been successfully marketed,including abciximab,eptifibatide,tirofiban,natalizumab,vedolizumab,lifitegrast,and carotegrast.Currently,there are approximately 90 kinds of integrin-based therapeutic drugs or imaging agents in clinical studies,including small molecules,antibodies,synthetic mimic peptides,antibody-drug conjugates(ADCs),chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T-cell therapy,imaging agents,etc.A serious lesson from past integrin drug discovery and research efforts is that successes rely on both a deep understanding of integrin-regulatory mechanisms and unmet clinical needs.Herein,we provide a systematic and complete review of all integrin family members and integrin-mediated downstream signal transduction to highlight ongoing efforts to develop new therapies/diagnoses from bench to clinic.In addition,we further discuss the trend of drug development,how to improve the success rate of clinical trials targeting integrin therapies,and the key points for clinical research,basic research,and translational research. | Xiaocong Pang Xu He Zhiwei Qiu Hanxu Zhang Ran Xie Zhiyan Liu Yanlun Gu Nan Zhao Qian Xiang Yimin Cui | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,2: | 3 |

The laser system, operating with typical pulse durations of 3–5 ns and beam diameter 60 mm, employs a sequence of successive rod amplifiers to achieve 100-J-level energy at 1053 nm at3 ns. The frequency conversion can provide energy of 50-J level at 351 nm. | 7 | Chiral metal-organic frameworks with tunable catalytic selectivity in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation reactions显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have achieved great success in the field of heterogeneous catalysis,however,ifs still challenging to design MOF catalysts with enhanced selectivity.Here,we demonstrated a combination strategy of metal design and ligand design on the enantioselectivity—that is the enantioselectivities of chiral MOF(CMOF)catalysts could be significantly enhanced by the rational choice of metal ions with higher electronegativities and introducing sterically demanding groups into the ligands.Four isostructural Ca-,Sr-and Zn-based CMOFs were prepared from enantiopure phosphono-carboxylate ligands of 1,V-biphenol that are functionalized with 2,4,6-trimethyl-and 2,4,6-trifluoro-phenyl groups at the Supposition.The uniformly distributed metal phosphonates along the channels could act as Lewis acids and catalyze the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of heteroaromatic imines(benzoxazines and quinolines).Particularly,the Ca-based MOF 1 with 2,4,6-trimethyl groups at the substituents exhibited enhanced catalytic performance,affording the highest enantioselectivity(up to 97%).It is also the first report of the heterogeneous catalyst with chiral non-noble metal phosphonate active sites for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation reactions with Hantzsch ester as the hydrogen source.The catalyst design strategy demonstrated here is expected to develop new types of chiral materials for asymmetric catalysis and other chiral applications. | Xu Chen Zhiwei Qiao Bang Hou Hong Jiang Wei Gong Jinqiao Dong Hai-Yang Li Yong Cui Yan Liu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,2: | 2 |
| 8 | Sand dunes as potential sources of dust in northern China显示文摘While saltation bombardment of sand grains on a fine substrate can produce considerable dust, the well-sorted nature of sand dunes tends to preclude them from consideration as major dust sources. Recent research, however, has revealed that sand dunes can, in some cases, be large sources of dust. We used the PI-SWERL(Portable In-Situ Wind Erosion Laboratory) to measure in the field the potential of sand dunes and other desert landforms to emit particulate matter <10 μm(PM-10) dust in the Tengger, Ulan Buh, and Mu Us deserts of northern China. Combined with high resolution particle size measurements of the dune sand, an assessment of sand dunes as a dust source can be made. Large active transverse dunes tend to contain little to no stored PM-10, yet they produce a low dust flux. Coppice dunes stabilized by vegetation contain appreciable PM-10 and have very high dust emission potential. There is a positive correlation between the amount of PM-10 stored in a dune and its potential dust flux. Saltation liberates loose fines stored in dunes, making them very efficient dust emitters compared to landforms such as dry lake beds and washes where dust particles are unavailable for aeolian transport due to protective crusts or sediment cohesion. In cases where large dunes do not store PM-10 yet emit dust when active, two hypotheses can be considered:(1) iron-oxide grain coatings are removed during saltation, creating dust, and(2) sand grains collide during saltation, abrading grains to create dust. Observations reveal that iron oxide coatings are present on some dune sands. PI-SWERL data suggests that low dust fluxes from dunes containing no stored dust may represent an estimate for the amount of PM-10 dust produced by removal of iron oxide coatings. These results are similar to results from dunes in the United States.
