1Community-Based User Domain Model Collaborative Recommendation Algorithm显示文摘Collaborative Filtering (CF) is a commonly used technique in recommendation systems. It can promote items of interest to a target user from a large selection of available items. It is divided into two broad classes: memory-based algorithms and model-based algorithms. The latter requires some time to build a model but recommends online items quickly, while the former is time-consuming but does not require pre-building time. Considering the shortcomings of the two types of algorithms, we propose a novel Community-based User domain Collaborative Recommendation Algorithm (CUCRA). The idea comes from the fact that recommendations are usually made by users with similar preferences. The first step is to build a user-user social network based on users' preference data. The second step is to find communities with similar user preferences using a community detective algorithm. Finally, items are recommended to users by applying collaborative filtering on communities. Because we recommend items to users in communities instead of to an entire social network, the method has perfect online performance. 6Exploring pathogenesis in subjects with subjective Tinnitus having kidney deficiency pattern in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine based on serum metabolic profiles显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the metabolic pathogenesis in subjects with subjective tinnitus(ST)having kidney deficiency pattern(KDP)(ST/KDP) in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS: Three groups of subjects, including healthy individuals, subjects with ST/KDP, and subjects who were healthy initially and then developed ST/KDP one year later(healthy → ST/KDP),were recruited for this study. Serum metabolic profiles of all subjects were analyzed using ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadruple-time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The metabolic characteristics of the ST/KDP subjects were determined, and the corresponding biomarkers were predicted. The metabolomics data from the healthy → ST/KDP subjects were collected for further verification.RESULTS: Twelve metabolites in the ST/KDP subjects were different from those of the healthy control subjects. Of these metabolites, according to the prediction, except for octanoic acid, other metabolites might characterize ST/KDP. Ten metabolites at the outcome ST/KDP stage were different from those at the initial(control) stage. Through the comparison of these metabolites with the predicted metabolites, five common metabolites, including upregulated glutamate, serotonin, oroticacid and 8-oxoguanine, as well as downregulated taurine, were found. These common metabolites were significantly associated with canonical pathways including calcium signaling, γ-aminobutyric acid(GABA) receptor signaling, purine and pyrimidine biosynthesis, taurine biosynthesis, and serotonin receptor signaling.CONCLUSION: The metabolic pathogenesis in ST/KDP subjects was characterized by upregulated glutamate, serotonin, orotic acid and 8-oxoguanine, as well as downregulated taurine, additionally, perturbations of calcium signaling, GABA receptor signaling, purine and pyrimidine biosynthesis, taurine biosynthesis, and serotonin receptor signaling.Tan Yong Shen Shanshan Guan Fulan He Bing Lu Cheng Xiao Cheng Jiang Miao Zhao Ning Li Li Cheng Shiping Zu Xianpeng Zhang Weidong Liu Xinru Lü Aiping 2018Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,5:1

17Modeling transport of arsenic through modified granular natural siderite filters for arsenic removal显示文摘Groundwater arsenic (As) contamination is a hot issue,which is severe health concern worldwide.Recently,many Fe-based adsorbents have been used for As removal from solutions.Modified granular natural siderite (MGNS),a special hybrid Fe(II)/Fe(III) system,had higher adsorption capacity for As(III) than As(V),but the feasibility of its application in treating high-As groundwater is still unclear.In combination with transport modeling,laboratory column studies and field pilot tests were performed to reveal both mechanisms and factors controlling As removal by MGNS-filled filters.Results show that weakly acid pH and discontinuous treatment enhanced As(III) removal,with a throughput of 8700 bed volumes (BV) of 1.0 mg/L As(III) water at breakthrough of 10 mg/L As at pH 6.Influent HCO3^- inhibited As removal by the filters.Iron mineral species,SEM and XRD patterns of As-loading MGNS show that the important process contributing to high As(III) removal was the mineral transformation from siderite to goethite in the filter.The homogeneous surface diffusion modeling (HSDM) shows that competition between As(III) and HCO3^- with adsorption sites on MGNS was negligible.The inhibition of HCO3^- on As(III) removal was connected to inhibition of siderite dissolution and mineral transformation.Arsenic loadings were lower in field pilot tests than those in the laboratory experiments,showing that high concentrations of coexisting anions (especially HCO3^-- and SiO4^4-),high pH,low EBCT,and low groundwater temperature decreased As removal.It was suggested that acidification and aeration of high- As groundwater and discontinuous treatment would improve the MGNS filter performance of As removal from real high-As groundwater.Fulan Li Huaming Guo Kai Zhao Wei Xiu Jiaxing Shen Yi Chen 2019Geoscience Frontiers2019,10,5:1
