1Agriculture Green Development: a model for China and the world显示文摘Realizing sustainable development has become a global priority.This holds,in particular,for agriculture.Recently,the United Nations launched the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs),and the Nineteenth National People’s Congress has delivered a national strategy for sustainable development in China—realizing green development.The overall objective of Agriculture Green Development(AGD)is to coordinate'green'with'development'to realize the transformation of current agriculture with high resource consumption and high environmental costs into a green agriculture and countryside with high productivity,high resource use efficiency and low environmental impact.This is a formidable task,requiring joint efforts of government,farmers,industry,educators and researchers.The innovative concept for AGD will focus on reconstructing the whole crop-animal production and food production-consumption system,with the emphasis on high thresholds for environmental standards and food quality as well as enhanced human well-being.This paper addresses the significance,challenges,framework,pathways and potential solutions for realizing AGD in China,and highlights the potential changes that will lead to a more sustainable agriculture in the future.Proposals include interdisciplinary innovations,whole food chain improvement and regional solutions.The implementation of AGD in China will provide important implications for the countries in developmental transition,and contribute to global sustainable development.Jianbo SHEN Qichao ZHU Xiaoqiang JIAO Hao YING Hongliang WANG Xin WEN Wen XU Tingyu LI Wenfeng CONG Xuejun LIU Yong HOU Zhenling CUI Oene OENEMA William JDAVIES Fusuo ZHANG 2020Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2020,7,1:18
2Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy for gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis:A multicenter propensity scorematched cohort study显示文摘Objective:Systemic chemotherapy has limited efficacy in the treatment of peritoneal metastasis(PM)in gastric cancer(GC).Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy(HIPEC)combined with complete cytoreductive surgery(CRS)has shown promising outcomes but remains controversial.The present study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of HIPEC without CRS in GC patients with PM.Methods:This retrospective propensity score-matched multicenter cohort study included GC patients with PM treated with either chemotherapy alone(Cx group)or with HIPEC combined with chemotherapy(HIPEC-Cx group)in four Chinese high-volume gastric medical centers between 2010 and 2017.The primary outcomes were median survival time(MST)and 3-year overall survival(OS).Propensity score matching was performed to compensate for controlling potential confounding effects and selection bias.Results:Of 663 eligible patients,498 were matched.The MST in the Cx and HIPEC-Cx groups was 10.8 and 15.9 months,respectively[hazard ratio(HR)=0.71,95%confidence interval(95%CI),0.58-0.88;P=0.002].The 3-year OS rate was 10.1%(95%CI,5.4%-14.8%)and 18.4%(95%CI,12.3%-24.5%)in the Cx and HIPEC-Cx groups,respectively(P=0.017).The complication rates were comparable.The time to first flatus and length of hospital stay for patients undergoing HIPEC combined with chemotherapy was longer than that of chemotherapy alone(4.6±2.4 d vs.2.7±1.8 d,P<0.001;14.2±5.8 d vs.11.4±7.7 d,P<0.001),respectively.The median follow-up period was 33.2 months.Conclusions:Compared with standard systemic chemotherapy,HIPEC combined with chemotherapy revealed a statistically significant survival benefit for GC patients with PM,without compromising patient safety.Ziying Lei Jiahong Wang Zhi Li Baozhong Li Jiali Luo Xuejun Wang Jin Wang MingchenBa Hongsheng Tang Qingjun He Quanxing Liao Xiansheng Yang Tianpei Guan Han Liang Shuzhong Cui 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,6:11
3Association of the Late Cornified Envelope-3 Genes with Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis:A Systematic Review显示文摘Psoriasis(Ps)and psoriatic arthritis(Ps A)are genetically complex diseases with strong genetic evidence.Recently,susceptibility genes for Ps and Ps A have been identified within the late cornified envelop(LCE)gene cluster,especially the cluster 3(LCE3)genes.It is noteworthy that the deletion of LCE3B and LCE3C(LCE3C_LCE3B-del)is significantly associated with these two diseases.Gene-gene interactions between LCE3 genes and other genes are associated with Ps and Ps A.LCE3 genes also have pleiotropic effect on some autoimmune diseases,such as rheumatoid arthritis,atopic dermatitis and systemic lupus erythematosus.Further studies need to focus on the potential function of LCE3 genes in the pathogenesis of Ps and Ps A in the future.Changbing Shen Jing Gao Xianyong Yin Yujun Sheng Liangdan Sun Yong Cui Xuejun Zhang 2015Journal of Genetics and Genomics2015,42,2:4
4Metallogenetic epoch and mechanism of the tungsten ore in Yushan, Beishan orogenic belt, Gansu显示文摘Using SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating methods and cathodoluminescence (CL) technique, we have pre- cisely dated ore samples from tungsten ore deposit, ore-bearing volcanic-sedimentary strata and granite in the Yushan region within the east Tianshan-Beishan W-bearing zone. This study reveals Yu- shan tungsten ore deposit zone formed in 250 ± 9 Ma, and it is closely associated with the Permian granites and felsic volcanic rocks. 5Challenges and strategies in high-accuracy manufacturing of the world’s largest SiC aspheric mirror显示文摘In the process of manufacturing the world’s largest silicon carbide(SiC)aspheric mirror,the primary difficulties are mirror blank preparation,asphere fabrication,and testing,as well as cladding and coating.Specifically,the challenges include the homogeneity of the complicated structure casting,accuracy and efficiency of the fabrication process,print-through effect,fidelity and precision of test procedure,stress and denseness of cladding process,the dynamic range of interferometric measurement,and air turbulence error due to the long optical path.To break through such a barrier of difficulties,we proposed the water-soluble room temperature vanishing mold and gel casting technology,homogeneous microstructure reaction-formed joint technology,nano-accuracy efficient compound fabrication,gravity unloading technology,high-denseness low-defect physical vapor deposition(PVD)Si-cladding technology,test data fusion method,and time-domain averaging method,etc.Based on the proposed technologies and methods,we have accomplished the world’s largest SiC aspheric mirror with a size of φ4.03 m.The impressive performance of the SiC aspheric mirror is validated by the characteristics of the fabricated SiC aspheric mirror.The aerial density of the SiC blank is less than 120 kg/m^(2),surface shape test accuracy is better than 6 nm RMS,thickness inhomogeneity of the cladding layer is less than 5%,and the final surface figure error and roughness are 15.2 nm RMS and 0.8 nm RMS,respectively.Xuejun Zhang Haixiang Hu Xiaokun Wang Xiao Luo Ge Zhang Wenxing Zhao Xiaoyi Wang Zhenyu Liu Ling Xiong Erhui Qi Congcong Cui Yanchao Wang Yingjie Li Xu Wang Longxiang Li Yang Bai Qiang Cheng Zhiyu Zhang Ruigang Li Wa Tang Xuefeng Zeng Weijie Deng Feng Zhang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,12:3
6DNA methylation-based subclassification of psoriasis in the Chinese Han population显示文摘Psoriasis (Ps)is an inflammatory skin disease caused by genetic and environmental factors.Previous studies on DNA methylation (DNAm)found genetic markers that are closely associated with Ps,and evidence has shown that DNAm mediates genetic risk in Ps.In this study,Consensus Clustering was used to analyze DNAm data,and 114Ps patients were divided into three subclassifications.Investigation of the clinical characteristics and copy number variations (CNVs)of DEFB4,IL22,and LCE3C in the three subclassifications revealed no significant differences in gender ratio and in Ps area and severity index (PASI)score.The proportion of late-onset (≥40 years)Ps patients was significantly higher in type I than in types H and III (P =0.035).Type III contained the smallest proportion of smokers and the largest proportion of non-smoking Ps patients (P =0.086).The CNVs of DEFB4and LCE3C showed no significant differences but the CNV oflL22significantly differed among the three subelassifications (P =0.044).This study is the first to profile Ps subclassifications based on DNAm data in the Chinese Han population.These results are useful in the treatment and management of Ps from the molecular and genetic perspectives.Fusheng Zhou Changbing Shen Yi-Hsiang Hsu Jing Gao Jinfa Dou Randy KO Xiaodong Zheng Liangdan Sun Yong Cui Xuejun Zhang 2018Frontiers of Medicine2018,12,6:3

8Reduction-induced interface reconstruction to fabricate MoNi_(4) - based hollow nanorods for hydrazine oxidation assisted energysaving hydrogen production in seawater显示文摘Seawater electrolysis could address the water scarcity issue and realize the grid-scale production of carbon-neutral hydrogen,while facing the challenge of high energy consumption and chloride corrosion.Thermodynamically more favorable hydrazine oxidation reaction(HzOR)assisted water electrolysis is efficiency for energy-saving and chlorine-free hydrogen production.Herein,the MoNi alloys supported on MoO_(2) nanorods with enlarged hollow diameter on Ni foam(MoNi@NF)are synthesized,which is constructed by limiting the outward diffusion of Ni via annealing and thermal reduction of NiMoO_(4) nanorods.When coupling HzOR and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)by employing MoNi@NF as both anode and cathode in two-electrode seawater system,a low cell voltage of 0.54 V is required to achieve 1,000 mA·cm^(−2) and with long-term durability for 100 h to keep above 100 mA·cm^(−2) and nearly 100%Faradaic efficiency.It can save 2.94 W·h to generate per liter H_(2) relative to alkaline seawater electrolysis with 37%lower energy equivalent input.Lili Guo Qingping Yu Xuejun Zhai Jingqi Chi Tong Cui Yu Zhang Jianping Lai Lei Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:2
