| 2 | Phylogenetic relationships of Cyrtandromoea and Wightia revisited: A new tribe in Phrymaceae and a new family in Lamiales显示文摘The familial placements of Cyrtandromoea Zoll. and Wightia Wall., two small and enigmatic South‐East Asian genera, have long been controversial in Lamiales. Here we adopt a two‐step approach to resolve their phylogenetic relationships. We initially reconstructed a large‐scale phylogeny of Lamiales using six chloroplast markers (atpB, matK, ndhF, psbBTNH, rbcL, and rps4). The results showed that both Cyrtandromoea and Wightia emerged in the LMPO clade, including Lamiaceae, Mazaceae, Phrymaceae, Paulowniaceae, and Orobanchaceae. Based on the second set of six chloroplast markers (atpB, matK, ndhF, rbcL, rps16, and trnL‐F) and two nuclear ribosomal regions (external transcribed spacer and internal transcribed spacer) for the analyses focusing on the LMPO clade, our results revealed that Cyrtandromoea was consistently nested within Phrymaceae, whereas Wightia was supported as sister to Phrymaceae by the chloroplast DNA dataset or sister to Paulowniaceae by the nuclear ribosomal DNA dataset. Morphological and anatomical evidence fully supports the inclusion of Cyrtandromoea in Phrymaceae, and an updated tribal classification is done for Phrymaceae with five tribes, that is, Cyrtandromoeeae Bo Li, Bing Liu, Su Liu & Y. H. Tan, trib. nov., Diplaceae Bo Li, Bing Liu, Su Liu & Y. H. Tan, trib. nov., Leucocarpeae, Mimuleae, and Phrymeae. The conflicting phylogenetic position of Wightia indicated by different genome markers results in difficulty placing the genus in either Phrymaceae or Paulowniaceae. Considering the distinct morphological differences between Wightia and other families in the LMPO clade, we here propose a new family, Wightiaceae Bo Li, Bing Liu, Su Liu & Y. H. | 5 | Optimizing the seed-cell filling performance of an inclined plate seed metering device using integrated ANN-PSO approach显示文摘Uniformseed distribution within the row is the prime objective of precision planters for better crop growth and yield.Inclined plate planters are generally used for sowing bold seeds likemaize,groundnut,chickpea,and their operating parameters like the forward speed of operation,the seedmetering plate inclination,and the seed level in the hopper affect the cell fill and subsequently the uniformseed distribution.Therefore,to achieve precise seed distribution,these parameters need to be optimized.In the present study,out of the different optimization techniques,a new intelligent optimization technique based on the integrated ANN-PSO approach has been used to achieve the set goal.A 3–5-1 artificial neural network(ANN)model was developed for predicting the cell fill of inclined plate seedmetering device,and the particle swarmoptimization(PSO)algorithmwas applied to obtain the optimum values of the operating parameters corresponding to 100%cell fill.The most appropriate optimal values of the forward speed of operation,the seed metering plate inclination,and the seed level in the hopper for achieving 100%cell fill were found to be 3 km/h,50-degree,and 75%of total height,respectively.The proposed integrated ANN-PSO approach was capable of predicting the optimal values of operating parameters with amaximumdeviation of 2%compared to the experimental results,thus confirmed the reliability of the proposed optimization technique. | C.M.Pareek V.K.Tewari Rajendra Machavaram Brajesh Nare | 2021 | Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture2021,,1: | 4 |

| 7 | FDTD based transition time dependent crosstalk analysis for coupled RLC interconnects显示文摘The performance of high density chips operating in the GHz range is mostly affected by on-chip interconnects. The interconnect delay depends on many factors, a few of them are inputs toggling patterns, line &coupling parasitics, input rise/fall time and source/load characteristics. The transition time of the input is of prime importance in high speed circuits. This paper addresses the FDTD based analysis of transition time effects on functional and dynamic crosstalk. The analysis is carried out for equal and unequal transition times of coupled inputs.The analysis of the effects of unequal rise time is equally important because practically, it is quite common to have mismatching in the rise time of the signals transmitting through different length wires. To demonstrate the effects,two distributed RLC lines coupled inductively and capacitively are taken into consideration. The FDTD technique is used because it gives accurate results and carries time domain analysis of coupled lines. The number of lumps in SPICE simulations is considered the same as those of spatial segments. To validate the FDTD computed results,SPICE simulations are run and results are compared. A good agreement of the computed results has been observed with respect to SPICE simulated results. | 18 | A fuzzy logic algorithm derived mechatronic concept prototype for crop damage avoidance during eco-friendly eradication of intra-row weeds显示文摘Crop damage during the intra-row weed eradiation is one of the biggest challenges in intercultural agricultural operations.Several available mechanical systems provide effective weeding but result in excess crop damage.On the other hand,chemical based systems have been raising serious environmental and food concerns.This study presents development of a cost-effectivemechatronic prototype for intra-rowweeding operation.The primary focus was on incurring minimal crop damage.The system integrates time of flight and inductive sensing into fuzzy logic algorithm for electronic control of a four-bar linkage mechanism(FBLM).The crank of FBLM was connected to the vertical rotary weed control shaft with weeding blades.The crop sensing triggers the electronic control to laterally shift the control shaft away from crop,proportional to the forward speed and soil conditions.The developed algorithm incorporates varied conditions of soil,forward speed,and plant spacing to calculate dynamic lateral shift speed(SRPM).The prototype was evaluated to determine the relationships between the operating conditions and electronic control parameters.Moreover,the plant damage was assessed under varied conditions of plant spacing,forward speeds,soil cone index,operational depth and electronic control parameters.The derived SRPM was established as the ultimate governing factor for avoiding crop damage that varied significantlywith electronic response time and soil strength(P<0.05).Plant damage increased significantly under higher forward speeds and lower plant spacing(P<0.05).Preliminary field evaluation of the developed prototype showed a significant potential of this system for effective control on weeds(>65%)and crop damage(<25%). | Satya Prakash Kumar V.K.Tewari Abhilash K.Chandel C.R.Mehta Brajesh Nare C.R.Chethan Kaustubh Mundhada Prateek Shrivastava Chanchal Gupta Smrutilipi Hota | 2020 | Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture2020,,1: | 1 |
| 19 | A study of the relation between intensity oscillations and magnetic field parameters in a sunspot: Hinode observations显示文摘We present properties of intensity oscillations of a sunspot in the photosphere and chromosphere using G band and Ca II H filtergrams from Hinode. Intensity power maps as function of magnetic field strength and frequency reveal reduction of power in the G band with an increase in photospheric magnetic field strength at all frequencies. In Ca II H, however, stronger fields exhibit more power at high frequencies, particularly in the 4.5–8.0 mHz band. Power distributions in different locations of the active region show that the oscillations in Ca II H exhibit more power compared to that of the G band. We also relate the power in intensity oscillations with different components of the photospheric vector magnetic field using near simultaneous spectro-polarimetric observations of the sunspot from the Hinode spectropolarimeter. The photospheric umbral power is strongly anti-correlated with the magnetic field strength and its line-of-sight component but there is a good correlation with the transverse component. A reversal of this trend is observed in the chromosphere except at low frequencies(ν≤ 1.5 mHz).
